Day 38 is a third-day-of-creation day. It is a third-season day. On the third day of creation, God manifested the hidden earth after He had moved the waters to one place. He made the earth an indispensable platform for the sustenance of flesh-life. On the third day, He commanded the dry ground to bring forth vegetation. The 38th season is when the old and dysfunctional give way for the ‘hidden new’ to manifest.
Day 38 is a book Zechariah day. Zechariah is the 38th book of the Bible. This book is about the restoration of Judah and Jerusalem. It opens with God’s appeal to His people to return to Him so He could return to them. Then progressed with God’s promises of War against the destroyers and oppressors of Judah and Jerusalem. It concludes with God’s promise of making Jerusalem the global center of worship; and for which nations that do not recognize her would be plagued and destroyed.
Day 38 is a 38th-chapters-of-the-Bible day. The 38th chapters of the Bible reveal that the 38th season is a season of making way for the ‘weak things’ that are down and hidden. In this season, God grants breakthrough to downtrodden things buried and covered. In Genesis 38, God favored Tamar with twins for Judah. The first two men for whom she would have bore children, died for wickedness. In Exodus 38, Bezalel made the altar of burnt offering, the bronze laver, and materials for the tabernacle. It is from altar in the tabernacle that breakthroughs come. In Job 38, God took over from Job and his friends and began a round of questions that Job could not answer. That was the first time Job beard God’s voice in the book. Psalm 38 is the cry of the chastened and weak to God. Often, agonizing prayers must precede breakthroughs. In Isaiah 38, God extended Hezekiah’s life by 15 years. In Jeremiah 38, the prophet was lifted from the dungeon that he may not die. In the 38th season, God intervenes to stop the hand of death. The 38th season is a pro-life season. Ezekiel 38 is God’s word against Gog and Magog – for being enemies of Israel. In the 38th season, God rises against the killer.
Day 38 is a Joshua 9-12 day in the sixth week of the year. The third four chapters of Joshua are applicable to the third day of the sixth week. Joshua and Israel fought some decisive battles in this section of the book. In Joshua 9, the Gibeonites deceived Israel and made a covenant with God’s people for fear of being destroyed. Eventually their lies were uncovered and they were made servants in Israel. In Joshua 10, the sun and moon, which God created on the fourth day, and the heavens, helped Joshua and Israel. In Joshua 11, Joshua fought and defeated Jabin, king of Hazor, and his multitude of allies. Joshua 12 is a listing of the 31 kings which Moses and Joshua conquered. Day 38 is a day of ‘the last battle’ in the sixth week.
Day 38 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the sixth week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The third day of the week is the third day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the third 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the third 10 books of the Bible, God sent His prophets to speak to the people. They confronted the people, warned them against judgment, comforted the faithful, and brought judgment on the arrogant. The third day is for the overthrow of the rebellious and establishment of the humble and just. How you fare in this season depends on your attitude and response to the word of God. This is a day of prophetic confrontation and judgment.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. This is a day of manifestation. Do not be afraid to take a stand for the Lord. It is a season to come out of hiding and obscurity. It is a day to overthrow oppression and the oppressor. It is a day to establish the humble. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, be ready to hear His voice and respond by faith. Expect breakthrough. Be willing to sacrifice. Walk by faith! This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the week. This is a day of unveiling. It is a day of answers to prayers. Today, pray for the overthrow of dysfunctional systems in the nations and in the church. Pray that God will make a way for the manifestation of hidden platforms and producers. Pray also that the forgotten functional people and things be remembered, recognized, and restored. Today, remember that when God delivers and manifests, it is for service and production. Do not consume His mercy on your lust. On this third day of the week, the oppressor will go down and the humble shall be delivered. Happy 38th day!
PRAYER
On this day of correction and mercy, deliver me, by your mercy, from errors that would harm my life and destiny. Overrule my mistakes by your wisdom and power. Step in for me, by your mercy, and turn things around. Change the things written against me and show me favor. Bring correction into my life and circumstances, by the power of your love.
