Welcome to the 323rd day of the year! Day 323 is the first day of the 47th week, the first day of the fifth week in the seventh 49 days of the year; the 29th day in the seventh seven weeks of the year. It is November 19 in a clear year and November 18 in a leap year.
The Bible patterns for understanding the 323rd day are
The first day of creation narrative
The first book and chapters of the Bible
The first 2 chapters of the 47th book of the Bible
The 29th book and chapters of the Bible.
Day 323 is a first season day. It is a first day of creation day in the 47th week. On the first day of creation, God released light against darkness; and also divided the light from the darkness. He called the light day; and the darkness, night. The light of the first day represents God. He is Light! God is Light and there is no darkness in Him. He manifested Himself as Light on the first day of creation. Righteousness and Truth are expressions of the Light that began creation. We must not keep God out of our first seasons. He is First; and the first belongs to Him. This is a day to seek alignment with Him through His Word and the pursuit of righteousness. Day 323 is a day of conflict in the spirit between light and darkness. It is a day of temptation for agents of light. It is a day to make decisions for light or for darkness. It is a day to stand up for what is right against what is wrong. It is a day to put God first.
Day 323 is a book of Genesis day in the 47th week. The book of Genesis is about aligning with God. There is blessing in alignment and curse in being out of alignment. Adam and Eve got out of alignment. Cain got out of alignment. Noah’s generation got out of alignment. Sodom and Gomorrah got out of alignment. Abel, Seth, Enoch, Noah, and Abraham were in alignment. He rejected the ways of darkness and aligned with the Light. This is a day to choose to stand for God or to stand for self.
Day 323 is a book of Joel day in the seventh seven weeks of the year. The book of Joel is the 29th book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 29th day in the seventh 49 days of the year. Joel is primarily a call to seek God and return to Him because of the judgmental warning disasters that had come on the Land. God is First and the first belongs to Him. Honoring God must be the focus in every first season. It is a season to either honor and obey Him or to repent and return to Him. To disregard God in a first season is to court disaster. Joel is also about God’s promise of restoration – the outpouring of His Spirit on all flesh. In the first season, those who return to God in repentance will find His favor.
Day 323 is a Second Corinthians 1-3 day. The first 2 chapters of the 47th book of the Bible is a pattern for the first day of the 47th week. In the first chapter, Paul spoke of God as the Father of mercies and God of all comfort “Who comforts us in all our tribulations”. God is mentioned 14 times in 11 verses in this chapter. He wrote about the mercy of God, the faithfulness of God, and the glory of God. He went on to share about the intense pressures they went through and how God delivered them. It is about the faithfulness of God to His people in their discomforts and afflictions. In 2 Corinthians 1:8-11, Paul said, “For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. [9] Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, [10] who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us, [11] you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many”. Day 323 is a God-day – a day to be preoccupied with His Person and attributes.
In the second chapter, Paul calls the Church to forgive the brother who sinned to avoid giving room to the Satan. In 2 Corinthians 2:5-11, Paul said, “But if anyone has caused grief, he has not grieved me, but all of you to some extent-not to be too severe. [6] This punishment which was inflicted by the majority is sufficient for such a man, [7] so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow. [8] Therefore I urge you to reaffirm your love to him. [9] For to this end I also wrote, that I might put you to the test, whether you are obedient in all things. [10] Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, [11] lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices”. This 323rd day, we should not only bask in God’s light, we should also watch out against darkness.
On this day, November 19, 2018, Carlos Ghosn, the auto industry legend, was arrested in Tokyo for financial misconduct. Did he lose focus on the right thing? May be it was just false accusation. A good name is better than precious ointment. Today, take a stand for light and have nothing to do with the works of darkness. In 2 Corinthians 2:14-17, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. [15] For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. [16] To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? [17] For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ”.
Day 323 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 47th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The first day of the week is the beginning of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the first 10 books of the Bible, God revealed Himself as Creator and Caretaker. He chose those who aligned with His purpose for blessings; and reserved judgment for those who disregard Him. The first 10 books began with the creation and fall of the man in the image and likeness of God; and ended with the emergence of the man after God’s heart sitting on the throne of God’s choice nation. David was absolutely loyal to God. He gave himself for whatever God wanted. This is a day of aligning with God and becoming a man (woman) after His heart.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy.! Happy 323rd day!
