The 21st century, is in God’s plan, the fullness of time releasing understanding concerning times and seasons from the Bible. The Holy Spirit arranged that by giving Ecclesiastes the 21st place in the Bible. That is the book that tells us there is a season and time for every purpose under heaven.
Days and weeks began from creation. Since creation, the seven-day week has been the the major and fundamental time-gate for purposes under heaven. There are 52 weeks in a year 7×49 days and a remainder of three weeks. Every seven-week season has a purpose in God’s plan. The kingdom of darkness also has an agenda for each seven-week season. So, in each week, men are expected to align with either the Kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness. There are consequences in each direction.
God’s word is the believer’s guide into the regular or prophetic weeks. The Psalmist says, “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”. Through number-narrative patterns, the Bible reveals God’s intention for each week or set of weeks, the intention of the evil one for each week, the optional human responses and their consequences. This devotional material, with scripture readings, is intended to guide you to understand and pray, ahead, over each week or week of weeks; and to prepare you to make right decisions and choices in every week.
A regular week lasts seven days. A prophetic week of weeks lasts 49 days or seven weeks. It is important to see each regular week in light of the seven weeks it belongs to; and the seven weeks in light of the year; and the year, in light of the seven years it is part of; and the seven years, in light of the century. For example, this is “the first day of the first week, in the first 49 days of the sixth year in the third seven years of the 21st century”. For example, the year 2020 is the 6th year in the third seven years of the 21st century. I hope you would find this a blessing.
