Welcome to the 37th day of the year! Day 37 is the second day of the sixth week of the year. This is the first major ’37th’ in the year. The other major ’37th’ is the 37th week. The Bible patterns for understanding the 37th day are 1) the second day of creation narrative; 2) the 37th book of the Bible; 3) the 37th chapters of the Bible; 4) the second three chapters of Joshua, the sixth book of the Bible. Day 37 is also the sixth day of the second month. So, the things that pertain to the sixth, in the Bible, are also applicable to this day.
Day 37 is a second-day-of-creation day. On the second day of creation, God made the firmament and dismantled the water-obstacle that would have made life and existence impossible. We are on earth today because God created the firmament on the second day. This is a day of dismantling obstacles to life, purpose, and destiny. It is a day to stop things that want to stop you – death, disease, demons; and make room for your continued journey to destiny.
Day 37 is a book of Haggai day in the first 49 days of the year.. In the two-chapter book of Haggai, the returnees stopped rebuilding the temple by the decree of the king (see Ezra 4: 23-24). The people suffered greatly for stopping the work. Haggai 1:6-11 says, “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” [7] Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways! [8] Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the LORD. [9] “You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the LORD of hosts. “Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house. [10] Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit. [11] For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”
The book of Haggai is a second season book; and is about what happened in the second year of King Darius. The work of the temple began in the first year of King Cyrus: was stopped in the first year of King Ahueserus (Artexerxes), and was restarted in the second year of Darius. The goal of the prophet in the book was to preach the people ‘back to work’. The temple of God is the House of Prayer. The 37th season is a ‘house of prayer’ season. You are the temple of God. Day 37 is your day to change things by the force of prayer and by the power of God. The Lord works to make you unstoppable in the 37th season. In the 37th book of the Bible, He removed the obstacle to rebuilding the temple. Today, as you call upon God from His temple in you, God will take away the obstacle on your way.
Day 37 is a Joshua 5-8 day in the sixth week. It is the second day of the sixth week as Joshua 5-8 is the second four chapters of the sixth book of the Bible. In Joshua 5, the generation that had not been circumcised were circumcised to take away the reproach of Egypt and the hindrance to the covenant (Genesis 17:9-14). In Joshua 6, the Jericho-obstacle was removed. In Joshua 7, Israel was humiliated by Ai because of the sin of Achan. The sin of Achan was a secret sin that no one else knew about. They cast lots and it fell on Achan. God revealed the hidden sinner by casting lots. The 37th season is when things that are down and hidden are brought up. It is season of revelations. In Joshua 8, Israel rose from defeat and defeated the people of Ai and burnt their city. The conquered became the conqueror. Day 37 is for dismantling obstacles. Three obstacles were removed in Joshua 5-8: uncircumcision, Jericho wall (through unbelief), and the sin of Achan.
Day 37 is a 37th-chapters-of-the-Bible day. The 37th chapters of the Bible bear witness that the 37th season is a season of divine intervention. God saved Joseph from death in Genesis 37. In Job 37, Elihu ended his speech; and it is about the intervening power of God. Psalm 37 is a call to trust in the Lord who cuts off the wicked and establishes the righteous. Psalm 37:9-10,17,20,22,35-36,38 says, “For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth. [10] For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more. [17] For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the LORD upholds the righteous. [20] But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the LORD, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away. [22] For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off. [35] I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a native green tree. [36] Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more; Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found. [38] But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off”. In Isaiah 37, God delivered Hezekiah and Judah from the hands of Sennacherib. In Jeremiah 37, the king saved Jeremiah from death by removing him from the dungeon to the court of the prison. In Ezekiel 37, in the Prophet’s vision, dry bones of slain men came back to life and became a mighty army – as Ezekiel prophesied.
Day 37 is a First Kings – to – Proverbs Day in the sixth week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The second day of the week is the second day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the second 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the second 10 books of the Bible, God wanted the kings of Israel to trust Him and lead the nation in the same direction. Beginning with Solomon, the kings of Israel began to patronize Idols. Idol worship became official in the northern kingdom following the split. Judah followed. Prophets rose in this season to call the nation back to God. Eventually, the two kingdoms went into captivity – the north fell to Assyria; and the south to the Babylonians. The Jews did return from captivity after 70 years. The last two books in this section of the Bible (Psalms and Proverbs) show that loss of faith in God is prelude to the loss of all things in the second season; but faith in God is the secret of power and strength. The faithful will triumph in the second season by the power and wisdom of God no matter what happens.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, declare that your faith will not fail; and that the faithful will triumph. Decree the downfall of those who disregard God and trust in themselves or idols, Today, prophesy against evil controlling powers and overthrow them by the word of the Lord. Mercy makes a way where there is no way. Today is a day of divine intervention and mercy. Today, release the word of the Lord against oppressive mountains in your life and in your world. Raise a cry to God against the proud and wicked in the land. Today, trust God to make a way where there is no way. Proclaim His word, Pray to Him. Praise Him! The 37th season is for dismantling obstacles, stopping the hands of death, and reversing evil plans. The Lord will do the same for you today. Happy 37th day!

🙏PRAYER:
On this day of intervention, O Father, overthrow and reverse the evil plan of the wicked against my life. Deliver me from all forms of death and destruction. Revive me – spirit, soul, and body. Revive your work in my life. Let the things the enemy had caused to cease, begin again with full strength. Amen!
O Lord, help me to gather double provisions on this sixth day as instituted in Exodus 16 when Israel gathered twice (of manna) as much as they did daily. Bless me with double provisions today.
