SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 182nd day are

1. The seventh day of creation narrative.(Genesis 2: 1-3)

2. The seventh book of the Bible (Judges)

3. The seventh chapters of the Bible.

4. Ezekiel 43 – 48 (the last 6 chapters of the 26th book of the Bible.

5. The 35th book of the Bible (Habakkuk) and the 35th chapters of the Bible.

6. The third and last 9 books of the New Testament (Hebrews – Revelation).

Day 182 is a seventh day of creation season day in the 26th week. The seventh day of creation was the last day. On that day God put a stop to the work of creation and rested. The seventh day is therefore a season to end labor and toil and enter into rest in a practical way. God blessed the seventh day because He rested on it. He also consecrated the seventh day.  The creation narrative of the seventh day shows that the seventh season is a time to enter into rest by enjoying the finished work. It is a season to declare “it is done” and end affliction. It is a season of intervention against unrest and distress. It is also a season given wholly to God for the pursuit of His pleasure..it is not a season to pursue self-gratification. It it is given to self-gratification, it turns from rest to disaster and unrest. Self-centered living is the bane of men in seventh seasons.

Day 182 is Ezekiel 43-48 day in the 26th week. The seventh and last section of Ezekiel, the 26th book of the Bible, can be applied to the seventh day of the 26th week of the year. The last six chapters of Ezekiel (43-48) focus on the rights of God and the dwelling of God in the temple and among the people. It is about the temple of God and the city of God. The book ends with the City called ‘The Lord is there’. This section of the 26th book shows that the 182nd day is for concentrating on God’s pleasure. Day 182 is a of God’s rest. Today, we should be preoccupied with His dwelling place; not ours. Today, we should focus on His concerns, and on His pleasure; not ours. The church is the temple of God and the city of God. We do not exist for ourselves but for Him. This day, we should be concerned with His place and dwelling in us and among us. When He takes His place in us, the would be drawn to Him.

Day 182 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 26th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. Day 182 is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the 26th week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration.

Day 182 is a 35th book and 35th chapters of the Bible day. Day 182 is the 35th day in the Fourth 49 days of the year. This is a book of Habakkuk day. It is a day to return to roots and foundations – not away from it. In the book of Habakkuk, the prophet calls on God to revive His work in the midst of the years. Habakkuk 3:2 says, “O LORD, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy”. In Genesis 35, God commanded Joseph to return Bethel (the House of God). In Jeremiah 35, the sons of Rechabites are blessed for upholding the values of their father. Day 35 is a season of revival via returning to foundations.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Happy 182nd day!
