Ecclesiastes 3:1 teaches that every time has its purpose and every purpose has its time. It says, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven”.
The God of Israel, who is also our God, guided His people to do certain things at certain times because He wanted them to do things in their time. He is the Author of times and seasons. He established days, weeks, months, and years to man operate on earth. The months, as we have them, are not mentioned in the Bible; but we know from the Bible there are twelve months in the year. There is no mention of a thirteenth month in the Bible. Although the Hebrew months and ours do not fall at the same times, they give us a pattern for operation. The New Testament teaches that we do not have to ‘do Hebrew things’, or ‘do things the Hebrew way’ to become followers of the God of Israel. Jesus Christ has called us to liberty. We do not have to follow the Jewish calendar to be acceptable to God. Our acceptance is in Christ!
Months are not just calendar-issues. They are time-gates for the execution and manifestation of purposes on earth. Certain months are best for certain operations. The power-brokers of this world know it; but many of God’s people are ignorant of this. When Haman planned to exterminate the Jews in the kingdom of Persia, it took casting of lots to determine the best time for this operation. He and his team did not choose the 13th day of the 12th month by reasoning. They determined the best time by a spiritual means. There is a time to kill and there is a time to heal. Every day, week, month, or year, has a spiritual significance.
Believers are called to execute God’s purposes on earth; and should not be ignorant of the mystery of times. We should know the things of each time; so we can do things in their time. We should occupy the time-gates with understanding and discernment. We should know what happens when; and when to do what. Ecclesiastes 8:5-7 says, “He who keeps his command will experience nothing harmful; And a wise man’s heart discerns both time and judgment, Because for every matter there is a time and judgment, Though the misery of man increases greatly. For he does not know what will happen; So who can tell him when it will occur?” Ecclesiastes 9:12 says, “For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, Like birds caught in a snare, So the sons of men are snared in an evil time, When it falls suddenly upon them”. Matthew 24:43 says, “But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into”. (Also Luke 12:39).
This material would help you to begin to learn the mystery of each month of the year. This publication is based on what is reported in the Bible concerning each month. The Bible is a book of divine principles and patterns. What is said concerning a third month can be applied to, or become a pattern for, our third month. This material is not intended for prognostication; but for praying, proclaiming, prophesying, and divinely pushing God’s purposes for each month into manifestation. The time has come for the people of God to take over the time-gates and execute divine purposes on schedule.
