Welcome to the 294th day of the year! Day 294 is the seventh and last day of the 42nd week; the seventh day of the seventh week in the sixth 49 days of the year. This is a core seventh season day. It is a Sabbath day in a Sabbath week. It is a book of Judges day in the 42nd week. Judges is the seventh book of the Bible. Day 294 is October 21 (twenty-first day of the tenth month) in a clear year and October 20 in a leap year.
The Bible patterns for understanding the 294th day are
The 7th day of creation narrative
The 7th book and chapters of the Bible
The 49th book and chapters of the Bible
The last 6 chapters (19-24) of the 42nd book of the Bible.
On the seventh day of creation, God did four things:
1. He ended His work.
2. He rested
3. He sanctified the day.
4. He blessed the day. The seventh day is the only day God blessed.
God intends that ‘the seventh’ is for ending toils and labors; and for resting from all afflictions. It is a season salvation and deliverance. It is the enemy’s season of casting burdens and yokes on men. ‘The seventh’ is distinct and distinguished from the rest. The seventh is blessed. In the seventh, the oppressor may rise but God always raises saviors and grants salvation.
The seventh chapter of Luke, the 42nd book of the Bible, is a good illustration of the nature of the seventh day of the 42nd week. In the 50-verse seventh chapter of Luke, representing Jubilee (Leviticus 25:10-14), Jesus intervened and saved the servant of a centurion from sickness and death (1-10). The centurion demonstrated great faith to secure the healing of his servant. Jesus also raised the only son of the widow of Nain from the dead. He was about to be buried when Jesus stepped in and turned the situation around; and the people said, “God has visited His people” (11-17). In this same chapter, as He cured many afflicted people, He also received the messengers from John who came to inquire if He is truly the One John spoke about. He spoke great things about John the Baptist (18-35). He forgave the sins of a sinful woman who wept and washed his feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair (36-50). On this seventh day of the 42nd week, expect the relief that comes from answers to prayers.
Day 294 is Luke 22-24 day in the 42nd week. The last three chapters (seventh division) of the 42nd book of the Bible is applicable to the seventh and last day of the 42nd week. They are chapters of suffering and triumph. In the 22nd chapter, Jesus and His disciples ate the last supper, discussed, and prayed in the Garden before His betrayal and arrest. He was tried and crucified in the 23rd chapter. Peter’s denial is recorded in this chapter. Jesus rose from the dead in the 24th chapter and appeared to His disciples and gave them the last commission. In this section of the book, Jesus fought and won the last battle and secured rest for humanity. This is a day of confrontation for rest. The rest of the seventh season comes by defeating the enemy and delivering the oppressed.
Day 294 is also the 49th and last day in the sixth 49 days. It is a book of Ephesians day in the sixth seven weeks of the year. Ephesians is the 49th book of the Bible. What is the mystery of the 49th – the end of ‘the seventh seven’? It is a Sabbath season. It is a time of no labor (Leviticus 25: 1-7, 18-22). It is a time to relish the finished work.
In Genesis 49, Jacob blessed His sons and gave them things they did not labor for.
Psalm 49 speaks of the ransom and redemption of souls from the power of death and the grave. In the 49th, God gives to men what they cannot get by themselves. The 49th is redemption-season (Leviticus 25:
In Isaiah 49, God is called ‘The Redeemer of Israel’. This chapter is about God’s remembrance and redemption of Zion. The chapter also speaks of God’s election of Jacob from the womb.
The 39-verse Jeremiah 49 is about God’s judgment on Ammon, Edom, Damascus, Kedar and Hazor and Elam; and about Israel possessing her inheritance. Sometimes the redemption of one means the destruction of another.
The 49th book of the Bible, Ephesians, is about what we have in Christ – not a product of our works.
Day 294 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 42nd week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. Today is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Have a happy 294th day!
BORN ON THIS DAY? You were born on this day for a reason. It is because of who you are and what you came to do on earth. Nature has away of pairing people and things. Problems attract answers. Darkness attracts light. You were born on this day because you are part of the Creator’s solution to problems associated with this day. You were born on this day because what you carry is what this day needs. The greatest need of this day is intervention. Compassionate saviours are need on this day. You were born to lead people into rest by fighting their battles. The evil one seeks to frustrate people with yokes and burdens on this day. So, the kingdom of darkness is not comfortable with your presence on earth and will fight to neutralise your purpose in two ways. The kingdom of darkness will be glad to attack you, make you a victim and keep you in perpetual need of a saviour. If they cannot deceive you, they cannot defeat you. Cry out to God if you are in trouble. The second thing the evil one wants to do is to deceive you to become an agent afflictions and a channel of troubles. Don’t let the evil one pull or push you out of your ordination. Be strongly committed to God and be compassionate. Don’t live to please yourself. Today, give thanks to God for your life and choose to life for God alone. Happy Birthday!
