EIGHTH PROPHETIC WINDOWS INTO KENYA’S NEW YEAR
To gain proper understanding of any time or season, it is important to view the season from different angles. Otherwise, you might become lopsided in your thoughts or views about the season. We are going to be looking at the new year of Kenya from 8 significant prophetic windows:
WINDOW 1: THE 63RD YEAR OF KENYA IS A PSALM 63 YEAR
Psalm 63 reveals three things applicable to the 63rd year:
i). It is a season to seek the Lord to see His power and glory (Psalm 63: 1-2).
This is the cry of someone in desperate need for change or help. The change many Kenyans desire in their 63rd year will take the manifestation of the glory and power of God in Kenya. We must seek Him accordingly.
ii). It is a season to celebrate God’s help (Psalm 63: 3-8).
iii). It is a season to stop the mouth of liars and witness the fall of the enemy (Psalm 63: 9-11).
WINDOW 2: THE 63RD YEAR OF KENYA IS ISAIAH 63YEAR
Isaiah 63 opens with questions and answers and reveals four things that are applicable to the 63rd year of Kenya:
i). It is the season of the Righteous One who is mighty to save (Isaiah 63:1).
ii). It is the season of the Lord’s vengeance in Kenya (Isaiah 63: 2-6)
iii). It is a season of God’s loving-kindness, goodness, and redemption (Isaiah 63:7-14).
iv). It is a season the Lord will look down from Heaven to see the situation of His people in Kenya (Isaiah 63: 15-19)
WINDOW 3: THE 63RD YEAR OF KENYA IS A BOOK OF SECOND JOHN YEAR
Second John is the 63rd book of the Bible and is applicable to Kenya’s 63rd year (December 12 2025 – December 11, 2026). This book is addressed to the Elect Lady. The 63rd year of Kenya shall be the year of the Elect Lady! This is the year when God’s attention will be on the people after His heart in Kenya. The Elect Lady is the prophetic code-name for God’s people in Kenya. The number of chapters in a book of the Bible gives clue to the message of the book. In the same way, the number of verses in a book of the Bible that has only one chapter helps us to understand the message of the book. Second John is a one-chapter book. This 13-verse book is a call for the revival of love among God’s people. The popular love-commands in the Bible are given in the 13th chapters of the Bible. (Genesis 13; John 13; Romans 13; First Corinthians 13; and Hebrews 13)
2 John reveals three things that are applicable to the 63rd year of Kenya. If we miss them in this 63rd year of Kenya, we could get out of alignment with Heaven.
i). It is a season to exalt the truth and be motivated by it (2 John 1:1-4)
ii). It is a season to love one another (2 John 1:5-6).
iii). It is a season to stand with those who favor (or are not against) the cause of Christ; and make Christ the Rule and Dividing Line (2 John 1:7-13).
WINDOW 4: THE 63RD YEAR OF KENYA IS A SEVENTH-SEASON YEAR
Kenya’s 63rd year is a seventh season year. Why do I call it a seventh-season year? It is the seventh year in Kenya’s ninth seven years (December 2019 – December 2026). The seventh year in every seven years is a seventh-season year.
Kenya’s 63rd year will be a year results and consequences. Results come in the seventh season. The wall of Jericho fell on the seventh day of marching round the city. Naaman was healed after the seventh time of bathing in Jordan.
Kenya’s 63rd year will be a year of interventions to usher Kenyans into rest. The Bible keys for unlocking the mystery of seventh-season-years are the seventh book and seventh chapters of the Bible. So, Kenya’s 63rd year is a book of Judges season. It is also a seven-chapters-of-the-Bible season. Just reading the seventh book and chapters will tell the story.
Narratives in the seventh book and seventh chapters of the Bible may not make you smile. Seventh-season years are often like that. The seventh year is supposed to be a year of rest but the evil one wants to make it a season of distress. But seventh seasons can also bring distress when a nation drifts from God — as seen repeatedly in the Book of Judges. Kenya’s previous seventh-season years are
1969/70 – internal factionalism
1976/77 – Collapse of the EAC (East African Community)
1983/84 – Wagala Massacre
1990/91 – St. Kizito Massacre
1997/98 – Bombing of US Embassy in Nairobi
2004/05 – Referendum and ethnic politics
2011/12 – Al-Shabaab terrorist attacks
2018/19 – Alshabaab attack , floods and landslides
This makes the 2025/26 cycle spiritually sensitive. This year Kenya must choose — Rest or unrest? Completion or confusion? Breakthrough or breakdown? A seventh-season year becomes blessed when God’s people are aligned. Otherwise, it is a season of distress when the people must cry out to God in repentance for deliverance.
WINDOW 5: THE 63RD YEAR OF KENYA IS AN EXODUS 12 YEAR IN KENYA
The second 49 years of Kenya began December 2012 and is a critical time-gate. The Second 49 years of Kenya is a Book of Exodus season in the land. In this season, Kenya is journeying from groaning to glory; and it important to know where Kenya is, at this time, in her Book of Exodus journey. Kenya is in the Passover section that will wrap up Exodus 7-12 where she has been since December 2019. This 63rd year is the year of Passover in Kenya. This is the year to save Kenyans from anything that has the face of Egyptian bondage. This is the year of ‘the last plague’ will open the gate of freedom for Kenya to begin the journey to her Promised Land.
WINDOW 6: THE 63RD YEAR OF KENYA IS THE 14TH YEAR IN KENYA’S SECOND 49 YEARS
Kenya has now moved into the 14th year in her second 49-year season. The 14th book and 14th chapters of the Bible reveal that fearful things happen in 14th seasons. That is the reason John 14:1 says, “Let not your heart be troubled….” Lot was abducted in Genesis 14. Israel crossed the Red Sea in Exodus 14. Israel rejected the Promised Land in Numbers 14. Absalom returned from exile in Second Samuel 14 with a hidden agenda. The 14th book of the Bible was a book of rising and falling that ended with the captivity of Judah. The king of Assyria and the spirit of death harassed Hezekiah in the 14th year of Hezekiah’s reign. The First World War started in the 14th year of the 20th century (1914). The 14th year of the 21st century (2014) was a year of disasters around the world. Think of Kenya in 1977 (the 14th year of independence).
The evil one will seek to hijack the 63rd year of Kenya for wicked purposes. God’s people must not spare a foothold. This is a time to take mountains as Caleb did in Joshua 14. It is a a time to slay lions as Samson did in Judges 14. This is a time to put the Blood of the Lamb on the lintel and doorposts as Israel did on the First Passover in Egypt. We can expect great intervention in this season.
WINDOW 7: THE 63RD YEAR OF KENYA IS A FIRST SAMUEL 28-31 YEAR
The ninth seven years of Kenya began December 2019 and will end December 2026. This is the last year of this seven-year season. The ninth seven years of any country is a Book of First Samuel season in that country. So, Kenya has been taking a prophetic journey through the ninth book of the Bible (First Samuel) since December 2019.
The 57th year of Kenya (2019-2020) was a First Samuel 1-5 season. The 58th year was a First Samuel 6-10 season. The 59th year was a First Samuel 11-15 season. The 60th year was a First Samuel 16-19 season. The 61st year was a First Samuel 20-23 season. The 62nd year was a First Samuel 24-27 season. The 63rd year is a First Samuel 28-31 season. From a prophetic perspective, this is the year of the last error of ‘King Saul’. This is the year of the last trouble of ‘David’ (raid and abduction at Ziklag). This is the year of the fall of ‘Saul’. King Saul and his three sons died in a battle against the Philistines in First Samuel 31; thereby creating a major void in the leadership of Israel. King Saul is the prophetic picture of what God has rejected in Kenya. David represents what God wants in and for Kenya. Will the 9th seven years of Kenya end like the 9th book of the Bible? Will the system and machinery working to prevent the manifestation of the will of God in Kenya not go down?
This season will also express the 9th chapters of the Bible. Will the opposite of what the oppressor wants not occur as in Esther 9 and Acts 9? Will the blindness of the people not be healed as in Matthew 9, John 9 and Acts 9. Will the murderers of destinies not be judged and come to an end with this season as in Judges 9 and Second Kings 9 and as Genesis 9 decreed? The 9th seven years of Kenya will end with surprises because the Bible reveals that God does not go the way of man or confirm human expectations in the ninth season.
WINDOW 8: THE 63RD YEAR OF KENYA WILL BE COLOURED BY THE 2026 SEASON
It is important to understand the significance of 2026 as it applies to different nations; because every nation will be getting her share of the global weather of the year. The wind of 2026 will have its impact in Kenya as in other nations. Remember how 2020 affected all nations of the world. The year 2026 would mean different things to different countries.
Globally, 2026 is a Book of Ezekiel year . Ezekiel is the 26th book of the Bible. Ezekiel was a captive of Babylon who rose above the limitations of captivity by the blessing of open heaven and visions of God. 2026 will be a year Through different circumstances, the devil will seek to arrest and bring limitations on people in 2026, but those who are vitally connected to God will triumph over those limitations as Isaac triumphed over famine in Genesis 26, and Ezekiel over captivity in the 26th book of the Bible.
Ezekiel prophesied both judgment and restoration. The year 2026 is a year to ‘prophesy against’. In this year, heaven will be set against wickedness and evil. 2026. It will be a year of heavenly reactions against wickedness on earth. Isaiah 26:9-10 says, “…For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Let grace be shown to the wicked, Yet he will not learn righteousness; In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly…”,
The year 2026 will be a year of re-digging wells the enemy had stopped and a year of rebuilding what the enemy had destroyed. It is a year of visions of restoration as we have in Ezekiel 40-48. May the blessings of 2026 come upon Kenya in her 63rd year and may disasters be far from her. May Kenya be greatly blessed in her 63rd year. Amen and Amen!!!
