Welcome to the 18th day of the year! Day 18 is the fourth day of the third week of the year. The fourth day is the middle of the seven-day week. It is the bridge-day of the week. Today, we are crossing the bridge in the third week of the year. Drive carefully. The Bible keys for understanding the eighteenth day are 1) the narrative of the fourth day of creation, 2) the 18th book of the Bible, 3) the 18th chapters of the Bible, and 4) the fourth four chapters of Leviticus.
This Day 18 is a fourth day of creation day. On the fourth day of creation, God made the luminaries, to give light, divide the darkness and the light, rule the night and the day, be for seasons. The luminaries tell us when it is night or day; or when the season changes. They are like judges and referees. They give verdicts concerning times and seasons. This is a day of verdicts and pronouncements. Take your stand as a luminary in Christ and rule.
Day 18 is a ‘book of Numbers day’ in the third week of the year. Numbers is the fourth book of the Bible; and Leviticus is the third book of the Bible. In the fourth book of the Bible, Israel went through testing for the Promised Land. God EXAMINED them and PRONOUNCED the judgment that kept Israel wandering in the wilderness for 40 years.
Day 18 is a book-of-Job day in the first 49 days of the year. Job is the 18th book of the Bible. In the book of Job, Satan struck the godly man with boils and skin disease after He had lost his children and business. He went through emotional turmoil as his friends argued with him about his plea of innocence; and rather charged him with guilt. Job’s condition was a test of his faith. After God had EXAMINED Job, He PRONOUNCED Him ‘not guilty’ and turned his situation around for good.
Day 18 is 18th-chapters-of-the-Bible day. The 18th chapters of the Bible reveal, among other things, that the 18th season is time of prayer and intercession (Genesis 18, Psalm 18, Luke 18, John 18). The 18th book and chapters reveal that the 18th is a time of revelation. Without revelation in this season, people may stumble. God gave Abraham revelation in Genesis 18. Micaiah had revelation in Second Chronicles 18. Job and his friends had no revelation of what happened on the backstage.
Day 18 is Leviticus 13-16 day. This section of Leviticus opens with laws about how the priest should handle people with skin diseases, boils, and bodily discharges; and closes with laws about the day of atonement. People with skin issues, are to be EXAMINED and a PRONOUNCEMENT made towards isolation or integration. The priests are the judges in matters of skin affliction. Heaven is waiting and waiting to give the verdict.
Day 18 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the third week of the year. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fourth day of the week is the day closing the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the last nine books of the Old Testament. Today is the bridge-day leading to the New Testament side of the week. The books of ‘the minor prophets’ are part of the last 9 books of the O.T. They are about judgment and promises of restoration. Today is a day of the dominion of the Voice of God in the nations. Let His Voice dominate in your life.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, raise your voice against wickedness and oppression wherever it is found. Prophesy! Prophesy!! Prophesy!!! Today, also pray to be more sensitive in the spirit; to pick up necessary signals that would help you triumph over the enemy and keep darkness away. Today, pray to be delivered from falling into temptation. Pray to be preoccupied with the person of God; and to be focused on His mandate and His revealed purpose for your life. Be careful to weigh every decision in light of God’s purpose for your life; and God’s purpose for the time. Today, proclaim an end to woes and declare the dawn of a new day. Today, may Heaven give you a pronouncement of remarkable favor.
