Welcome to the 17th day of the year. Day 17 is the third day of the third week of the year. It is a core third-season day. Day 17 is the game-changing third day in the game-changing third week. The illustrative Bible patterns for understanding the seventeenth day are 1) the narrative of the third day of creation; the 17th book of the Bible; the 17th chapters of the Bible, and 4) the third four chapters of the third book of the Bible.
Day 17 is a third day of creation day in the third week of the year. On the third day of creation, God gave boundaries to the waters, displayed the dry ground, and released vegetation from the dry ground. On the third day, God removed the barrier (water) between heaven (firmament) and earth (dry ground). Day 17 is a book of Leviticus day in the third week of the year. It is a core Leviticus day. It is a Leviticus day in a Leviticus week. The book of Leviticus is about spiritual Service. It is about WHO does the service, WHY the service is done, WHERE the service is done, WHEN the service is done, HOW the service is done, and WHAT must be used for the service. Day 17 is a core service-day – rendering supportive service to men; and acceptable service to God. It is a day of ensuring unity between heaven and earth. The ministry of the Priests and Levites was to keep men in fellowship with God – ensuring that the barrier between heaven and earth is removed.
Day 17 is a book of Esther day in the first 49 days of the year. Esther is the 17th book of the Bible. In the book of Esther, there were overthrows and replacements. Vashti was removed. Esther was crowned. Bigthan and Teresh were killed for plotting against the king. Haman was promoted, clashed with Mordecai, and decided to destroy the Jews. Everything turned against him. Mordecai and Esther and the king became the new platforms for good – after the dysfunctional platforms which the king trusted were removed. This is a day of backlash against the wicked. This day is for the manifestation of those who can be trusted to deliver desired results through service. It is a season for the revelation or manifestation of hidden people and things.
Day 17 is a 17th-chapters-of-the-Bible day. The seventeenth chapters of the Bible reveal that Day 17 is a day of action against death and deadness. Death seeks a place in the seventeenth season but should be overthrown. The seventeenth season is a season of action against hopelessness. In Genesis 17, 99 year-old Abram became Abraham and 90 year-old Sarai becomes Sarah. In Exodus 17, thirsty Israel drank water from a dry rock and Israel defeated Amalek. In Numbers 17, Aaron’s dry rod budded and bore ripe fruits overnight. In 1 Samuel 17, David challenged, defeated, killed, and beheaded the boastful Philistine giant, Goliath of Gath. This was the beginning of his manifestation to Israel. He dared the giant with his sling and stones. In 2 Samuel 17, Hushai defeated the terrible advice of Ahitophel to personally lead 12,000 soldiers against Israel right away. When he saw his counsel was rejected, he left for his country home, put his house in order, and committed suicide. In First Kings 17, Elijah decreed that there would be no rain or dew in Israel. It did not rain for 42 months. God told Elijah to go to Brook Cherith. There, he drank water and ravens brought him food day and night. When the brook dried, God sent him to a widow at Zarephath. The widow and her child had just one meal to eat before death. Elijah ordered to be served first and promised the food would never finish. It never finished. Later the widow’s child died and Elijah raised him back to life. This is first account of raising the dead in the Bible. In Matthew 17, Jesus was manifested as God’s choice instead of Elijah and Moses; He delivered a boy possessed by a spirit of epilepsy. Jesus also told Peter to catch fish, get a piece of money from inside the fish, and pay their tribute. In this chapter, Jesus said if you have faith, nothing shall be impossible to you. In Acts 17, Paul preached in three cities – Thessalonica, Berea, and Athens. At Thessalonica, they faced strong resistance. The Bereans were scripture-searchers. At Athens, Paul saw that the entire city was given to idol worship. The seventeenth season is a season when faith is awakened. It is a time to inspire faith in the Almighty God.
Day 17 is Leviticus 9-12 day. Aaron’s priestly ministry began formally in the ninth chapter. His two sons, Nadab and Abihu died in chapter 10 for offering strange fire. The eleventh chapter is about foods forbidden and unclean animals. The twelfth chapter is the ritual following child birth. This section is about manifestation for service, overthrows, and bringing forth. This is a day of rendering acceptable service before God and to men.
Day 17 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the third week of the year. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The third day of the week is the third day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the third 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the third 10 books of the Bible, God sent His prophets to speak to the people. They confronted the people, warned them against judgment, comforted the faithful, and brought judgment on the arrogant. The third day is for the overthrow of the rebellious and establishment of the humble and just. How you fare in this season depends on your attitude and response to the word of God. This is a day of prophetic confrontation and judgment.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. This is a day of manifestation. Do not be afraid to take a stand for the Lord. It is a season to come out of hiding and obscurity. It is a day to overthrow oppression and the oppressor. It is a day to establish the humble. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, be ready to hear His voice and respond by faith. Expect breakthrough. Be willing to sacrifice. Walk by faith! This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the week. This is a day of unveiling. It is a day of answers to prayers. Today, pray for the overthrow of dysfunctional systems in the nations and in the church. Pray that God will make a way for the manifestation of hidden platforms and producers. Pray also that the forgotten functional people and things be remembered, recognized, and restored. Today, remember that when God delivers and manifests, it is for service and production. Do not consume His mercy on your lust. On this third day of the week, the oppressor will go down and the humble shall be delivered. Happy third day of the week!
Day 17 is a season of overthrows and new installations. It is a season of glorious manifestations. Today, take time to render quality and acceptable service. Do the right things and do them the right. Honor men but reverence God above men. The enemies shall be overthrown. Happy 17th day of the year.
DECLARATION AND BLESSING
Today, Heaven is taking action against dryness, deadness, hopelessness, and wickedness. Your Abram will become Abraham; and your Sarai will become Sarah as in Genesis 17. Refreshing water will come out of dry rock for you; and your Amalek will fall before you; you as in Exodus 17. Your dry rod will bud, blossom, and bear ripe fruit ‘overnight’ as in Numbers 17. Your Goliath will fall shamefully as in First Samuel 17. Your Ahitophel will kill himself as in Second Samuel 17. Provisions will come from unlikely places for you (as from ravens and from poor widows); and your dead things shall come back to life as in First Kings 17. Your Haman shall fall, those occupying your seat and position shall vacate, and those who want you dead will go down instead – as in the 17th book of the Bible. You will be transfigured and your face will shine. What the tax collectors want from you, that you do not have, will be waiting for you in the mouth of the fish the fisherman in you will catch. You will never be stranded, but you will be help to the helpless as in Matthew 17. The ‘disease’ and ‘uncleanliness’ that keeps you out and away will leave you as it left the ten lepers in Luke 17. The heavens shall be open to you as Jesus experienced it in John 17. You will triumph in your Thessalonica, Berea, and Athens, as Paul did in Acts 17. The deceitful, blood-drinking, Babylon that is distressing you will be exposed and judged as in Revelation 17. Welcome to the 17th day of the year; welcome to the game-changing third day of the game-changing third week of the year.
