Day 365: The Mystery of December 31

Welcome to the last day of the year. Day 365 is the first day of the 53rd week and the last day of the year and the 22nd day of the last 22 days of the year (in a clear year). It is December 31 in a Clear year and December 30 in a Leap year.

Day 365 is a first season day. It is the first day of the last fourth week of the year. The first day of creation was the day beginning the revealed exploits of God and His Word. The first book of the Bible is also about the Sovereignty of God – manifest in creation, judgement, and election or grace. As a first season day, Day 365 belongs specially to God. It is when loyalty to God is tested and rewarded; and disloyalty judged.

Day 365 belongs to a 53rd season; and relates to the 53rd book and chapters of the Bible. Second Thessalonians is the 53rd book of the Bible. Day 365 is the beginning of what should have been the 53rd week of the year; though it is not a full week. The 53rd book of the Bible is the end of ‘the man of sin and lawlessness’. It is book of the last battle between light and darkness. The 53rd is a conclusive season. In Psalm 53, both the fool and God made conclusive statements: The fool says “There is no God”; while God says, “There is none who does good; No, not one”. The 53rd is the end-season for those who have declared war against God. It is when God makes fools of those who despise or disregard Him. Psalm 53:4-5 says, “Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon God? [5] There they are in great fear Where no fear was, For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; You have put them to shame, Because God has despised them. [6] Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad”. Isaiah 53 is prophetic of what Jesus experienced on the cross. In Isaiah 53, God gave his servant the treatment meant for transgressors. Isaiah 53 reveals how God deals with transgressors in the 53rd season. Jesus did not deserve what He suffered on the cross; but he suffered what sin and the sinners He represented deserved. God is harsh with rebellion in the 53rd season.

Day 365 is a 22nd day season. What is the mystery of the 22nd? The 22nd is an end; which is also a new beginning. In the Hebrew Alphabet, the 22nd letter, ‘tav’ is the last letter. It is the end. There are two books of the Bible that end at the 22nd chapter. They are First Kings and Revelation. Both books speak of the end. In the book of First Kings, the eleventh book of the Bible, Israel had both a great ascent and devastating decline. King Ahab died in the 22nd chapter of First Kings. Revelation 22 is a New Beginning showing the restoration of the river of the water of life; and of the tree of life.

The 22nd book of the Bible is Song of Songs. This book is a romantic poetry telling the story of two lovers and their companions. This book is a picture of the love that should  exist between God and man, God and Israel, and between Jesus Christ and the Church. The marriage of Christ to the Church is an end-time event.

The 22nd chapters of the Bible confirm that the 22nd season is an end-time; and in it, loyalty to God is tested and rewarded or judged.

In Genesis 22, God tested Abraham’s loyalty to Him by requiring the sacrifice of Isaac as burnt offering. He demonstrated loyalty to God and was rewarded. That was Abraham’s last test.

In Exodus 22, God gave laws and judgments – eternal boundaries – for businesses and families in Israel. Obedience to God is the proof of loyalty to Him.

In Leviticus 22, God laws and judgments (eternal boundaries) for Aaron’s family (the priesthood). In John 14, Jesus said those who love him would keep His commands.

In Numbers 22, Balaam’s loyalty to God was tested. The king of Moab wanted him to curse Israel. God said he should not. Balaam did not honor the voice of God because of the rewards he expected from men.

In Deuteronomy 22, God gave Israel laws and judgments (eternal boundaries) for the purity and cleansing of the land.

In Joshua 22, Israel acknowledged the end of the obligation of the Reubenites, Gadites and half tribe of Manasseh. They erected an altar at Jordan to witness that the Lord is God. The 22nd season is a time to demonstrate that the Lord is God.

In 1 Samuel 22, Saul killed the priests of the Lord to fulfill part of God’s word to Samuel,   concerning the house of Eli. Abiathar crossed over to David as priest. The word of reaches fruition in the 22nd season.

In 2 Samuel 22, David’s troubles ended. The king sings to the Lord. The 22nd is a season of giving credit to God in songs. It is a time of songs. The 22nd book of the Bible is called Song of Songs.

In 1 Kings 22, Ahab died according to God’s word by His prophet, Elijah. God’s word must come to pass in the 22nd season.

In 2 Kings 22, Josiah became king. That was the end of the spiritual darkness of the reign of Manasseh and Amon. Josiah was a godly king and demonstrated loyalty to God when he heard the reading from the book of the Law. The man of God from Judah, in 1 Kings 13, had spoken about Josiah.

In 1 Chronicles 22, David handed over to Solomon as God had promised that his son would sit on the throne.

In 2 Chronicles 22, Ahaziah, the son of Ataliah, came to his end; as Jehu executed God’s word concerning the house of Ahab.

In Job 22, Eliphaz gave his third and last speech.

Psalms 22 is the Messianic Psalm of Jesus’ suffering on the cross – end of His earth-ministry. Jesus fulfilled Psalm 22 on the Cross.

Proverbs 22 contains boundaries, for everyday living, set by divine wisdom.

In Isaiah 22, God pronounced judgment against Jerusalem and Shebna

In Jeremiah 22, God pronounced judgment against Jehoiakim and Coniah

In Ezekiel 22, the prophet makes pronouncements of judgment against the bloody city

Matthew 22 marks the end of religious leaders questioning and testing Jesus (Matthew 22: 46).

Luke 22 records the last supper, prayer at the Garden of Gethsemane, Judah’s betrayal of his Master, Peter’s denial denial of his Lord, and Jesus’ trial by the Jewish council. Loyalty was tested in this chapter.

In Acts 22, Paul was loosed from his bonds. This marked the end of examination, by scourging, for Paul.

Revelation 22 is the end of the Bible and the restoration of God’s original intention. The Great Fulfillment. In this chapter, also, Jesus said He is coming with rewards in His hands. Revelation 22:12 says, “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work”. The 22nd season is the season of tests and rewards.

THE UNIQUENESS OF DECEMBER 31

Every Day hands over another Day

The last day of each week hands over to a New Week

The last day of one month hands over to another Month

December 31 hands over to a New Year

December 31 hands over to a New Century

December 31 hands over to a New Millennium

One Day, time will hand over to Eternity. Time will cease to exist. What we call one day will be like a thousand years; and what we call a thousand years will be like one day. There will no longer be seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years. There will no longer be night or day.

Day 365 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 52nd week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The first day of the week is the beginning of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the first 10 books of the Bible, God revealed Himself as Creator and Caretaker. He chose those who aligned with His purpose for blessings; and reserved judgment for those who disregard Him. The first 10 books began with the creation and fall of the man in the image and likeness of God; and ended with the emergence of the man after God’s heart sitting on the throne of God’s choice nation. David was absolutely loyal to God. He gave himself for whatever God wanted. This is a day of aligning with God and becoming a man (woman) after His heart.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your  life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy.!
