He made man (male and female) in His image and after His likeness; and gave man authority to rule over land animals, sea creatures, and birds of the air. This is a day to commemorate and relive the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. Today, make your way back to the Lord. Even if you are not a backslider, you can still get closer to the goal of expressing the Lord – as His image and likeness. Today, stand out for God as His representative and look into your life, and look around, for things and areas that need to be conformed to God’s standards. Today, pray that the kingdom comes, by the word of God, to establish God’s will in your life, family, church, community, nation; and in the nations of the world. Today, stand your ground as God’s agent; and a part of His New Man. The Body of Christ cannot be divided. He is the Head of a many-member body. Division in the Body of Christ is a mockery of Christ. The gate of each day opens to people it needs. The great need of this day is godly leaders operating in God’s wisdom, power and holiness who will stand for God unreservedly.
