Welcome to the 231st day of the year! Day 231 is the seventh day of the 33rd week; the seventh day of the fifth week in the fifth 49 days; the 35th day in the fifth 49 days. It is August 19 in a clear year and August 18 in a leap year. The basic Bible patterns for understanding Day 231 are
The seventh day of creation narrative.
The seventh chapter of the 33rd book of the Bible
The 35th book of the Bible.
Day 231 is a seventh day of creation day. It is a seventh season day. What is the mystery of a seventh season? God ended his work and rested on the seventh day. God blessed the seventh day and made it holy. The seventh day is a day of freedom from struggles, toil, distress, and disease. It is a season dedicated to the pursuit of God’s pleasure. It is a blessed season. Day 231 is a blessed day of release from toil and labor. God saves and destroys in seventh season. The seventh book and chapters of the Bible bear witness to this. In every season God reacts against things and people that are out of alignment with His purpose and plan for that season.
Day 231 is a Micah-chapter-seven day. The seventh chapter of the 33rd book of the Bible is applicable to the seventh day of the 33rd week of the year. The seventh chapter of Micah is about God and His judgments. This chapter shows four things to God’s people be preoccupied with on Day 231. They are judgment, faith, hope, and grace.
JUDGMENT: Micah 7:1-4 says, “Woe is me! For I am like those who gather summer fruits, Like those who glean vintage grapes; There is no cluster to eat Of the first-ripe fruit which my soul desires. The faithful man has perished from the earth, And there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; Every man hunts his brother with a net. That they may successfully do evil with both hands- The prince asks for gifts, The judge seeks a bribe, And the great man utters his evil desire; So they scheme together. The best of them is like a brier; The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge; The day of your watchman and your punishment comes; Now shall be their perplexity”.
FAITH: Micah 7:5-7 says, “Do not trust in a friend; Do not put your confidence in a companion; Guard the doors of your mouth From her who lies in your bosom. For son dishonors father, Daughter rises against her mother, Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man’s enemies are the men of his own household. Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me”.
HOPE: Micah 7:8-17 says, “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me. [9] I will bear the indignation of the LORD, Because I have sinned against Him, Until He pleads my case And executes justice for me. He will bring me forth to the light; I will see His righteousness. [10] Then she who is my enemy will see, And shame will cover her who said to me, “Where is the LORD your God?” My eyes will see her; Now she will be trampled down Like mud in the streets. [11] In the day when your walls are to be built, In that day the decree shall go far and wide. [12] In that day they shall come to you From Assyria and the fortified cities, From the fortress to the River, From sea to sea, And mountain to mountain. [13] Yet the land shall be desolate Because of those who dwell in it, And for the fruit of their deeds. [14] Shepherd Your people with Your staff, The flock of Your heritage, Who dwell solitarily in a woodland, In the midst of Carmel; Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, As in days of old. [15] “As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt, I will show them wonders.” [16] The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might; They shall put their hand over their mouth; Their ears shall be deaf. [17] They shall lick the dust like a serpent; They shall crawl from their holes like snakes of the earth. They shall be afraid of the LORD our God, And shall fear because of You”.
GRACE: Micah 7:18-20 says, “Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy. [19] He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea. [20] You will give truth to Jacob And mercy to Abraham, Which You have sworn to our fathers From days of old”.
Day 231 is a 35th season day. It is the 35th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. To understand the mystery of the seventh day of the fifth week in the fifth 49 days, we must seek understanding of the mystery of the 35th season from the 35th book and chapters of the Bible.
Habakkuk is the 35th book of the Bible. In the 35th book of the.Bible, the prophet cried to God against violence and injustice. God told him He would use another nation to judge His people. The prophet protested that God wanted to use a wicked nation to judge His people; but God told him that the nation, too, would be judged.
In Genesis 35, God commanded to return to Bethel and dwell there. That move required a clean up from idolatry in his house. He had a fresh encounter with God in this passage (9-15). The 35th is a time to return to roots and foundation. Genesis 35 was also a season of pain and tears in the life of Jacob. Deborah (Rebekah’s nurse) died here. Rachel also died here after giving birth to Benjamin – the twelfth son of Jacob. Isaac, his father, also died here; at the age of 180. The other painful thing here is that Reuben had sex with his father’s concubine, Bilhah (Rachael’s maidservant – the mother of Dan and Naphtali). This would cost him his birthright. Reuben ruined his destiny here. Errors of the 35th season are costly. The 35th season is an endpoint. Even Jacob’s story ended here. He was no longer active after this 35th chapter of Genesis. The 35th season is a no-longer-season. Exodus 35 is about laws concerning the Sabbath and about free-will offerings for the work of the tabernacle. Moses introduced Bezalel to the people. Exodus 35 is about the Lord’s day and the Lord’s House. The 35th season is the Lord’s season. It is a seventh season. Numbers 35 is about the land of the Levites, the Cities of Refuge, and laws relating to Murder and bloodshed. Day 231 is not a day to shed blood but a day to save lives. In the 35th chapter of Second Chronicles, Josiah and all Judah returned to the Lord and observed a ground-shaking Passover; such as had never happened since the days of Samuel. After this great revival, Josiah heedlessly entered into war with the King of Egypt and died in battle. He went to intervene in a battle that was not his own. He was warned against it but he did not listen. He died an unnecessary death. Errors of the 35th season are costly. Job 35 reveals that the 35th season is a time to return to God or to look to Him. Job 35:9-11 says, “Because of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry out for help because of the arm of the mighty. [10] But no one says, ‘Where is God my Maker, Who gives songs in the night, [11] Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, And makes us wiser than the birds of heaven?’
Psalm 35 is a prayer to God in adversity. The 35th season is a time to look in God’s direction.
Isaiah 35 reveals that the 35th season can be a great turn-around season if people turn to God. It can become a season of no more sighing or sorrow. Isaiah 35:1-10 says, “The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; [2] It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, The excellency of our God. [3] Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. [4] Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” [5] Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. [6] Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert. [7] The parched ground shall become a pool, And the thirsty land springs of water; In the habitation of jackals, where each lay, There shall be grass with reeds and rushes. [8] A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray. [9] No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there, [10] And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away”.
In Jeremiah 35, the sons of Rechab overcame the temptation to drink wine in the house of God. The remained loyal to their father. They became a reference point to all Judah. Judah would be punished but the house of Rechab shall prosper. Decisions of the 35th season will either bring blessings or curses. In Ezekiel 35, the Son of Man is commanded to prophesy against Mount Seir. God vowed to make Mount Seir desolate. The word desolate is used eight times in this chapter; out of about the forty times it is used in the entire book.
Day 231 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 32nd week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. Day 231 is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the 33rd week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Seek intervention and be ready to intervene where necessary and possible. Today, give it all up for God. Be willing to sacrifice your interests, preference, and pleasures, to please God and bless humanity. Happy 231st day!
BORN ON THIS DAY? You were in this season for a reason. You came on this day that we may know you are and why you came. You were born on this day because you are a stopper and remover of things that should not continue. You were born to be ‘the expected one’. You were born to fulfill a dream. The evil kingdom will fight to get rid of you but your secret of continuity is alignment with, and loyalty to God. Today, give thanks to God for your life and position yourself to be ‘the stàndard’.
