Day 12: The Mystery of January 12

0

Welcome to the 12th day of the year! Day 12 is the first of the three major 12th seasons in the year: 12 day, 12th week, and 12th month. Day 12 is the fifth day of the second week of the year; and the 12th day in the first 49 days of the year. The Bible key for understanding the twelfth day or season is the fifth day of creation, the 12th book of the Bible, and the 12th chapters of the Bible.

Day 12 is a fifth day of creation season; because the 12th is the fifth in the second-seven (8-14). As a fifth season day, Day 12 has its basic pattern in the fifth day of creation; and in the fifth book and chapters of the Bible. On the fifth day, God filled the empty waters with abundance of living and moving creatures; and created the birds to fly over the earth. The fifth day of creation is unique for the following reasons: it is –

1. The beginning of movement on the earth – birds and sea creatures.

2. The beginning of flesh and blood in God’s creation.

3. The beginning of voice communication – chirping and singing birds.

4. The beginning of seeing and sensing and breathing.

5. The beginning of blessings. God blessed His creation with fruitfulness and multiplication.

6. The beginning of life in the waters.

7. The beginning of prey and predators. That is the reason for oppression in fifth seasons.

8. The beginning of think-ability in creation.

From the account of the fifth day of creation, we learn that the fifth season is a season of life, movement, freedom, abundance, blessings, visions and revelations, and of reaching depths and heights.

Day 12 is a book of Second Kings day. The book of Second Kings is the twelfth book of the Bible. This is the only book of the Bible that ends in the 25th chapter. It is a story of revival and declension. Elijah’s ministry experiences a revival and he ends up leaving the earth without dying. The first time a man left the earth without dying was in the fifth chapter of Genesis. In the 12th book of the Bible, Elisha’s ministry of power and intervention began; culminating in the anointing of Jehu and destruction of the house of Ahab. There were also reformations of faith in this book; but the book sadly ends with the fall and captivity of Judah. The fifth season is an up-down season if God is disregarded; but if God is honored, it is a down-up season.

Day 12 is a twelfth chapters of the Bible day. The twelfth chapters of the Bible reveal four major things about the 12th season:

1. The 12th season is a season of departures and new beginning. In Genesis 12, Abraham left where he used to be to a new land. In Exodus 12, the power of Pharaoh and Egypt was broken and Israel left Egypt. In First Samuel 12, Samuel delivered his powerful farewell speech to Israel. In First Kings 12, United Israel came to an end as ten tribes walked away from the leadership of House of David. In 2 Kings, the twelfth book of the Bible, Elijah departed this earth. The Nigeria-Biafra war ended January 12, 1970. Military rule ended in Nigeria with the emergence of the 12th national leader, Olusegun Obasanjo, in 1999.

2. The twelfth season is also a season of escapes from death and disease. In Exodus 12, the Passover happened and the firstborns of Israelites escaped death on the night of Passover. In Second Samuel 12, David escapes death for sinning against God but the child dies. In John 12, the Jews planned to kill Lazarus and Jesus. In Acts 12, Peter escaped death at the hands of Herod. Both James and Herod died in this chapter. In Revelation 12, the Man-child was caught up to heaven and escaped death. Death comes in the 12th season, but God grants escape from death in the same season. In the 12th book of the Bible, Elijah departed the earth without dying. In the same book, Elisha raised a dead child back to life; and even in death, his bones raised a dead body that touched them.

3. The wicked and the destroyer fall in the 12th season. In 2 Kings, the 12th book of the Bible, the rule of Jezebel and her daughter Athaliah came to an end. God took vengeance on the house of Ahab and on Baalism in the 12th book of the Bible. In Matthew 12, Jesus cast out a deaf and dumb demon and taught that no man enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods without binding the strong man. In Luke 12, the rich fool died. In Acts 12, king Herod was eaten by worms and died. In Revelation 12, Satan was thrown out of heaven.

4. The 12th season is for deliverance from famine, barrenness, scarcity, and lack. In Genesis 12, Abraham traveled to Egypt to escape famine. In 2 Kings, the 12th book of the Bible, God used Elisha to war against famine, scarcity, and lack – lack of water, lack of money, lack of children, and lack of food. In Acts 12, Paul and Barnabas brought relief from Antioch to Jerusalem because of anticipated famine.

Day 12 is an Exodus 25-30 day. Within these chapters, Israel gave free-will offerings for the tabernacle. God gave instructions concerning the construction of the tabernacle, the altars, and the garments of the priests. Aaron and his sons were consecrated. The 12th is a season of offerings and sacrifices. It is a season of preparation for the House of God, the House of Prayer, the House of intervention. Without the house of God in a 12th season, misfortunes will go unchecked.

Day 12 is a Matthew – Galatians day in the second week of the year. It is a day of the compassionate intervention of God. Every week is like a journey through the Bible having an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and expresses the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fifth day of the week is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the first nine books of the New Testament. The first 9 books of the NT are about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Church. The books are about the love and grace of God granting salvation and justification to humanity by faith. This is a day to enter experientially into the New Testament side of the week. It is a day of answers to prayers, fulfillment of prophecies, and delivery of promises. The New Testament side is the spiritual and deeper side. The New Testament side is the side of manifestation. The old has passed away; and the new has begun. Dreams for the week are expected to come to pass and promises should be fulfilled. Expect deliverance and divine intervention.

DECREE AND DECLARE: At creation, God spoke His will into each day. He made us in His image and likeness; and expects us to release His will into each day. Decree this day that the flesh will not overtake the spirit in your life, family,, organization, and nation. Decree a change in the week and declare that today is the beginning of the New Testament side of the 33rd week. As a Book-of-Matthew day, decree that Emmanuel (God is with us) takes over. As a New Testament type day, decree that the love of God will overtake human error and failure. Today, submit to the spirit against the flesh. Walk in the spirit and make no room for the flesh. The fifth season is a season of giving spiritual interpretations to earthly manifestations. Today, make it your watchword to walk in the spirit and obey God’s Word. Walking in the spirit is the key to gaining all. Birds (representing the spirit) fly above and eat from the land, the sea, and the air. Today, cry out to God against oppression and for the pains in your life. Speak out also. Trust Him to intervene in your affairs and in the affairs of people around you. Determine to make a next-level move. It’s time to shift base in the spirit! Today, put yourself on the side of blessing by choosing obedience instead of curses by choosing disobedience. Have a 12th happy day of the year!
