Day 130: The Mystery of May 10

0

Welcome to the 130th day of the year! Day 130 is a fourth season day. It is the  fourth day of the 19th week. It is the 32nd day in the third 49 days of the year. It is the fourth day of the fifth week in the third 49 days. The key Bible patterns for understanding Day 130 are the fourth day of creation narrative, Psalm 130, the fourth 21 chapters (64-84) of the nineteenth book of the Bible, the 32nd book and 32nd chapters of the Bible.

Day 130 is a fourth day of creation day in the 19th week. God made the luminaries on the fourth day of creation. The reason He made light bearers on the fourth day is because the fourth season is a fight-back season for darkness and cold. For the darkness and and cold of the season, God made the luminaries to light-up and warm-up to the universe. The fourth season is temptation-season. It is the enemy’s deception-season. It is trial-season. It is a season when pain, anxiety, fear, and despair, seek to get a hold of men. It is a season when men cry out to God for help and mercy.

Day 130 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the 19th week. Going through any week is like journeying through the Bible. The first 4 days of the week belongs to the Old Testament side of the week. The last three days of the week constitutes the New Testament side of the week. This fourth day of the week is the end of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the last nine books of the Old Testament. Those nine books are books of correction, recovery, and restoration. Day 130 is the bridge day in the 19th week. It is the bridge to the New Testament side of the week. As a bridge-day, it is a day of testing. It is a day to pass through with great sensitivity, watchfulness, and discernment.

Day 130 is a book of Jonah day in the third 49 days of the year. Jonah is the 32nd book of the Bible and is applicable to the 32nd day in the third seven weeks of the year. Jonah is a fourth-season book. For disobeying God, Jonah got into trouble; found himself in the belly of a fish. From there, he cried out to God. In Genesis 32, Jacob was “greatly afraid and distressed”; cried out to God, when he heard that his brother, Esau, was coming to meet him. As Jacob found change in Genesis 32 when he held to the Lord for blessing, Jonah was delivered from the belly of the fish when He cried to the Lord. In Exodus 32, Moses cried to the Lord for mercy after Aaron made a golden calf for the people as their god.

Day 130 is a Psalm 130 day. Versos 1-2 of the psalm says, “Out of the depths I have cried to You, O LORD; [2] Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications”.

The Lord shows mercy in the fourth season.

Psalm 130: 3-4 says, “If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? [4] But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.

The fourth season is a time to wait for the Lord and hope in Him.

Psalm 130: 5-6 says “I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. [6] My soul waits for the Lord More than those who watch for the morning- Yes, more than those who watch for the morning”.

The fourth season is redemption-time for those whose hope is in the Lord. Psalm 130: 7-8 says “O Israel, hope in the LORD; For with the LORD there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption. [8] And He shall redeem Israel From all his iniquities”.

Day 130 is a Psalm 67-87 day in the 19th week! Psalms 67-87 are psalms of supplication to God for deliverance from trouble. As a fourth season day, a season when the Kingdom of darkness fights back to harm the kingdom of God, this is a season to call upon God for intervention.  Today, look to the Lord and cry to Him for His merciful intervention and deliverance. Mercy forgives us and takes away the bad we deserve for going astray and walking in error – when we cry out to the Lord. May today be ‘that day of change’ for you.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, raise your voice against wickedness and oppression wherever it is found. Prophesy! Prophesy!! Prophesy!!! Today, also pray to be more sensitive in the spirit; to pick up necessary signals that would help you triumph over the enemy and keep darkness away. Today, pray to be delivered from falling into temptation. Pray to be preoccupied with the person of God; and to be focused on His mandate and His revealed purpose for your life. Be careful to weigh every decision in light of God’s purpose for your life; and God’s purpose for the time. Today, proclaim an end to woes and declare the dawn of a new day. Happy 130th day!
