The Last Three Weeks of the Year

0

The last three weeks of the year belongs to an eighth season in the year. The 8 is a new beginning. It is a season to move and break new ground.

In the 8th book of the Bible, Elimelech’s family moved to Moab because of famine; but found life extremely adverse. Survival is primary in the eighth season.

In the 8th chapter of Second Kings, the woman of Shunem relocated from Israel because of famine.

In Acts 8, many believers moved from Jerusalem because of persecution and hardship. Life can be tough in the eighth season. The believers scattered to other regions. Philip went to Samaria and preached  Jesus Christ there.

In Revelation 8, the first four trumpet judgments began and devastated vegetation, water, and marine life, and the luminaries.

Genesis 8 states the mind of God for the eight season:

Genesis 8:20-22: “Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. [21] And the LORD smelled a soothing aroma. Then the LORD said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done. [22] “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”

If you honor the Lord in the eighth season, He will separate you from lack and destruction.

The Mystery of the 49th Week

0

Welcome to the 49th week of the year! The 49th week is the seventh and last week in the seventh seven weeks of the year. This is the week completing the seventh seven weeks of the year. It is a core seventh season week. It is the last week of the last 49-day season in the year. It is like the end of the end in the year. The seventh is the end-point; and the 49th week is 7×7 week. The week following this week is the week of Jubilee. Get ready! The Jericho Wall of the year is about to give way; and disease of Naaman is about leave him. The Bible-patterns for understanding the 49th week are 1) the seventh day of creation narrative, 2) the 49th book of the Bible, 3) the 49th chapters of the Bible, 4) and the seventh three chapters of the seventh book of the Bible.

Week 49 is a seventh day of creation week. God ended His work and rested on the seventh day. God also blessed the seventh day and sanctified (set apart and distinguished) the seventh day as a day for His pleasure. He blessed the seventh day because He rested on that day.  The plan of God is that men may come into rest in the seventh season or at the seventh point. The seventh season is for ending toil and labor. It is for lifting burdens and relieving the oppressed. This 49th week is a week of rest. It is for ending struggles. Let it be so for you and all yours. The plan of the evil one is to push men into unrest and restlessness in this season; by getting them to dishonor God. Rather than people resting in life, He wants them to rest in death. The 49th season is especially for doing the Lord’s pleasure. No man is free to do his own thing in a seventh season. It is the season of the Lord’s pleasure.

Week 49 is a book-of-Ephesians week. Ephesians is the 49th book of the Bible and sings loudly about our redemption in Christ – about who we are, where we are, and where we going IN CHRIST (chapters 1-3). The death of Jesus was for our redemption. Ephesians 1:7,13-14 says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace [13] In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, [14] who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory”. Ephesians 4:30 says, “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption”.

The 49th book of the Bible is a revelation of our redemption from sin and death; and about who we are in Christ; just as Jacob, in Genesis 49, revealed to his sons their destinies. It is about our spiritual blessings in the heavenly places. The 49th book of the Bible is about our gains in Christ. The death of Jacob is recorded in the 49th chapter of Genesis. His death gave room to his sons. The 49th book of the Bible makes reference to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ; and speaks of our resurrection, translation, and session with Him. Other 49th chapters of the Bible speak of ransom, salvation, and redemption. Jesus died to redeem us from the power of death and the grave. He suffered pain to usher us into gains.

The 49th book is also about living to glorify God (chapters 4-6:9). The fourth, fifth, and sixth chapters give emphasis to Christian living. Living irresponsibly in the 49th season will not only rob people of the blessings of the season, but also bring them disasters. That is the reason Psalm 49:20 says, “A man who is in honor, yet does not understand, Is like the beasts that perish”. As irresponsibility cost Reuben his firstborn status in Genesis 49, the 49th book reveals that our position in Christ does not absolve us of the responsibility of living right at home, at work, and in the community. Our position in Christ cannot nullify our profession as believers. The 49th week is for honoring God with our lives.

The 49th book of the Bible ends with a call to put on the whole armor of God (6:10-24). The 49th season is for wrestling against evil spiritual forces – principalities and powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Week 49 is a week of intense spiritual warfare. However, we are not to engage the enemy with fleshly weapons but with the whole armor of God. You will win the battle of this 49th week!

Week 49 is a 49th-chapters-of-the-Bible week. In Genesis 49,Jacob prophesied over his sons concerning their future. The 49th season is a time to receive light about yourself and your future. It is a season of blessings and impartations. Those were also the last words of Jacob before his death. Genesis 49:33 says, “And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people”. Genesis 49 ends with resting in death and burials. There is something about the 49th and death. That is the reason God made the 49th a season of redemption from death, yokes, and burdens. Reuben lost his firstborn status in this chapter for a wrong thing he did in the 35th chapter of Genesis. Week 49 is a score-sheet week! The 49th week is for delivering ‘the last stroke’. Your 49th week will not end with sadness and sorrow!

Psalm 49 is counsel to men that riches do not profit in the day of death. Wealth cannot be taken out of this world. Riches cannot redeem from death and the grave;  but God can. Psalm 49:15 says, “But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me. Selah”. Psalm 49 enlightens us with truth that it is better to run after God than to run after wealth in the 49th season. This 49th week, God will do, for you, what money, wealth, and riches cannot do!

In Isaiah 49, the Lord is called ‘Savior’ and ‘Redeemer’ and Israel is called His servant – His chosen. Isaiah 49 is God’s promise concerning the restoration of Israel. It is about returning her to her land; and restoring her glory. This means that the 49th season is a season of  recovery and restoration. This 49th week, the Lord is willing to show you great mercy; and help you beyond your wildest dreams and imagination. He wants to give you the things that belong to you (including the ones you don’t even know exist); and contend with those contending with you.

Jeremiah 49 is a proclamation of judgment against Ammon, Edom, Damascus, Kedar, Hazor, and Elam. It is all a reaction from Heaven for their mistreatment of Israel. The season of your redemption cannot be a happy time for your enemies. God judges wickedness in the 49th season; to save His chosen ones. This week, God will reveal Himself as your Savior before those who oppress you.

Listen! Listen!! Listen!!! There is something about the 49th and ‘listening’. The 49th season is Heaven’s broadcast season! This is a week of revelations and instructions. It’s time to listen. It’s time to hear something about who you are, what you have, and where you are going. In Genesis 49:1-2, “…Jacob called his sons and said…Gather together and hear, you sons of Jacob, and listen to Israel your father”. Psalm 49:1 says, “Hear this, all peoples; Give ear, all inhabitants of the world, both low and high, rich and poor together.”. Isaiah 49:1 says, “Listen, O coastlands, to Me, And take heed, you peoples from afar!” This week, you will not miss what Heaven is saying and revealing. God was speaking in the 49th year of the United States, when John Quincy Adams became the 6th President of the United States. Did America listen? Andrew Jackson and his group felt robbed by a ‘corrupt bargain’. The ‘Era of Good Feelings’ ended. God was speaking in 1949 but our world was not paying attention until the Communist Party took over China in 1949. Apartheid also became official in South Africa in 1949. South Africa did not listen. In 2009, the 49th year of Nigeria, Heaven was speaking but Nigeria did not pay attention until Boko Haram surfaced. This 49th week, your adversary will not gain power over you. This week of redemption, the Lord will deliver our world from oppressors and killers.

Week 49 is a Judges 19-21 week. The seventh three chapters of the seventh book of the Bible are applicable to the seventh and last week in the seventh 49 days of the year. This section is about sacrilege, war, tears, and rehabilitation. In the 19th chapter, sodomites raped a man’s concubine to death. The man cut his wife’s body into pieces and distributed it all around Israel. This led to war between Israel and the tribe of Benjamin in the 20th chapter. The Benjamites suffered great losses from the war; and in the 21st chapter, all Israel gathered to discuss the rehabilitation of Benjamin. They had sworn irrevocable oaths against Benjamin but now had to find a way out – beginning with finding wives for the men of Benjamin. This section of Judges indicates that if God is not honored in a 49th season, as in a seventh season, unrest, destruction, and regrets will take over the season. Boko Haram insurgency and terrorism became a serious threat from 2009, the 49th year of Nigeria. That was a warning bell to the country.

Week 49 is a Hebrews – Revelation season. Every year has both a New Testament side and an Old Testament side. In the same way, every seven weeks of the year has an Old Testament side and New Testament side. This also applies to every 49 years of life. The 49th week of the year is the last section of the New Testament side of the seventh seven weeks.  It expresses the last nine books of the Bible. Those nine books, from Hebrews to Revelation, are the end-time books of the Bible; and are about the recovery of the church and earth. They include the general epistles and the apocalypse. They are about God reclaiming His people; and reclaiming the earth for His people. Those nine books are about getting God’s people to bounce back and be the way they ought to be. The apocalypse is about reclaiming the church and the earth. Week 49 is redemption week! It is a week to bounce back. It is a week to be who God made you to be. It is a week of getting rid of things in my life that shouldn’t be. It is a week of rest – not distress or unrest.

This week, do these four things:

1) proclaim and declare your redemption from sin, death, and power of the grave;

2) obey God and honor Him by your life in everything you do;

3) raise the antennae of your Spiritual Receiver to pick up the signals from Heaven;

4) get ready to resist and drive the enemy and stranger away from your inheritance and possession. Put the enemy to flight from your position in Christ. Dress up in God’s armor by revelation. Put on, and take up, your superior spiritual armor. You are the redeemed of the Lord. Bondage and death are behind you. The power of slavery and destruction is broken. Give proof of these by living to honor the Redeemer; and by fighting from victory in Christ. Happy 49th week!

The Mystery of the 48th Week (November 26 – December 2)

4

Welcome to the 48th week of the year! The 48th week is the sixth week in the seventh seven weeks of the year. It is a sixth season week. The keys to unlocking the mystery of the 48th week are the sixth day of creation narrative, the 48th book of the Bible, the 48th chapters the Bible,

Week 48 is a sixth-day-of-creation week. On the sixth day of creation, God commanded the dry ground to bring forth land animals; and it did. On the same day, He made man in His image and according to His likeness. It was on that sixth day that God completed and perfected the creation of flesh. He gave man authority to rule, subdue, and have dominion over he rest of creation.

He blessed man with fruitfulness and multiplication and also communicated with man concerning provisions for men and animals.

In the sixth season, therefore,

1. God gives inheritance

2. God declares war against rebellion.

3. God communicates to guide man

4. God gives graciously and provides for man

5. God blesses with fruitfulness and multiplication

6. God seeks representation in a man that would speak and act for Him.

7. God rules and demands obedience. It is the season for exercising kingdom-rule.

In the sixth season, you must let the gracious and sovereign Lord have His way; and understand that things will not go the way you think. In the sixth season, even tradition will give way to the will of God. Man was the ‘youngest’ of God’s creation; and yet was made the head of all. He came in last but is made the first and put in charge of all. In terms of population, humans were in the minority on the sixth day of creation; but God still gave man authority over the other living creatures. He favored the minority with power to rule the majority. The sixth season is for exercising dominion in the name of the Lord.

Week 48 is a 48th-chapters-of-the-Bible week. The 48th season is a season of amazing grace. In Genesis 48, Joseph visited his father, Jacob, with his two young sons and five amazing-grace-things happened on that day. There are five expressions of grace in the 22-verse Genesis 48. 1). Jacob accepted the sons of an Egyptian woman (Joseph’s children) into his family – without minding or complaining they were of mixed blood. 2). Jacob admitted the sons of Joseph (his grandsons) to the status of ‘sons of Jacob’. Grandsons became sons – to share inheritance with their uncles. Jacob made the two sons of Joseph his own sons like Reuben and Simeon. They moved from being grandsons of Jacob to becoming sons of Jacob. 3). In blessing the children, Ephraim, the younger son of Joseph received the blessing of ‘firstborn’. Joseph was displeased but Grace overruled and was pleased. Jacob blessed the sons of Joseph; giving the greater blessing to Ephraim the younger son. Manasseh was the older son. Joseph protested  but his father insisted. May the Lord stop anyone and any force that is protesting and laboring to stop, or truncate, what is yours by grace and divine ordination.  4). Joseph, the eleventh son of, had a tribe more than his brothers. Joseph has two tribes in Israel. The tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh are descendants of Joseph. Jacob’s adoption of Ephraim and Manasseh gave Joseph two tribes in Israel; a portion more than the other sons of Jacob. 5). Ephraim, a grand child, is made the firstborn of Jacob. In Genesis 48, Grace found Joseph and his family. In this 48th week of the year, may grace locate you and be multiplied to you.

Psalm 48 is about the greatness of God and the beauty of Mount Zion, the City of our God.

The 22-verse Isaiah 48 is about the excellence, majesty, and mighty acts of God. – the First and the Last.

The 47-verse Jeremiah 48 is about the judgment of Moab for her pride and haughtiness against the Lord. In this chapter of Jeremiah, the Lord is the King whose name is the Lord of hosts. There is a gracious promise of the return of the captives of Moab.

The 35-verse Ezekiel 48 is about the (25k by 25k) foursquare city of God – having portions of the land distributed to the 12 tribes and to the priests and Levites. There shall be a Holy District, with the sanctuary at the center, and it shall belong to the priests. The gates of the city will be named after tribes.

The 48th year of the 20th century, 1948, was a season of conflicts between Israel and Arabs over Palestine. God made a way for Israel to become an independent nation from May 14, 1948. The 48th season is for possessing your possession.

Week 48 is a Judges 16-18 week. The sixth three chapters of the seventh book of the Bible is applicable to the sixth week in the seventh 49 days of the year. This section records Samson’s decline, defeat, and death. God was gracious to him at the end but he died with his enemies. This section also record the losses of Micah and the people of Laish. The Danites defeated Laish and took their lands in the 18th chapter. This Echioma of Judges reveals that the 48th week is a season of intense spiritual conflict.

Week 48 is a book of Galatians week. In the 48 book of the Bible, Paul made a strong case for the grace of ‘justification by faith’. He began by stating the divine origin of his apostleship and message. God acted sovereignly in the matter of showing grace to man, to the Gentiles, and to Paul. He was a second-generation apostle, made equal to the first-generation apostles who followed Jesus of Nazareth as disciples; and admitted to revelation-privileges beyond the older apostles. As Jacob made the two sons of Joseph his own sons in Genesis 48,  the 48th book of the Bible says God made us Abraham’s sons like Isaac; and made us his sons like Jesus Christ.

The 48th book of the Bible bears witness that the 48th season is a season of conflict in which ‘the weak’ and disadvantaged wins. The book gives hint of conflicts between Paul and the other apostles, Gentiles and Jews, Grace and Law, Isaac and Ishmael, Sarah and Hagar, Zion and Sinai, Jerusalem and Arabia, and between Spirit and Flesh. In all Favor triumphed over Legality. In the 48th season, God favors the disadvantaged. May the grace of God locate you and speak for you this week. May that grace, also, possess your heart; and lead you to greater humility, kindness, and generosity. Happy 48th week!

The Mystery of the 47th Week (November 19-25)

0

Welcome to the 47th week of the year! The 47th week is a fifth season week; because it is the fifth week in the seventh 49 days of the year. The Bible keys for understanding the 47th week are the fifth day of creation narrative, the 47th book of the Bible, the 47th chapters of the Bible, and the fifth 3 chapters of the seventh book of the Bible.

A. Week 47 is a fifth day of creation week.

The creatures of the fifth day enjoy unlimited opportunities in their worlds. The fifth day of creation was the beginning of full expression of life in God’s creation. That was the beginning of movement and voice-sound in God’s creation. Freedom of movement and freedom of expression are all marks of the fifth season or 47th season. In this season, the kingdom of darkness seeks to limit the full expression of life through oppression – by men or demons. The evil kingdom seeks to limit men in this season through lack, disease, oppression,  or death. For the kingdom of God, the 47th season is about freedom, healing,  wholeness, abundance,  and spiritual sensitivity. It is a season of awakening to full life. It is a season to work against or stop the things that hinder full expression of life. The creatures of the fifth day can see, hear, smell, taste, and feel. All these point to spiritual sensitivity. The issue in the 47th season is whether you will approach life from a spiritual or carnal perspective. It is a season to test if you are going to focus on the spiritual or the material. God began to bless creation on the fifth day. The 47th season (as a fifth season) is a time of blessings and unlimited opportunities for those who focus on God and align with Him.  It is a time of disastrous curses for those that are out of alignment. Keep your eyes on spiritual reality and not on superficial ‘realities’.  Keep your eyes on God and not on man or yourself. Direct your attention to God.

B. Week 47 is a 47th-chapters-of-the-Bible week.

It is a week of great opportunities, blessing, and prosperity, for God’s people; and a time of great hardship for those who are out of alignment with Heaven. In Genesis 47, three things happened: 1) Pharaoh received Joseph’s family into Egypt and treated them well. He told them “the whole land is before you”. He gave them the best of the land for settlement. They had no lack of any good thing. 2) The people lacked food and money, suffered greatly, and sold everything they had (including themselves) for food. The people were hungry but had no means to buy food from the government. Pray against life threatening situations that take away everything people have from them. Joseph gave the people what they wanted and bought over the lands and people of Egypt for Pharaoh. They did not take the land of the priests. The 47th season can be a season of great prosperity for some and a season of great adversity for others. It all depends on alignment with God. While others lost their lands, God’s people received lands. 3) Jacob, though he had left Canaan and was experiencing material prosperity in Egypt, did not forget the Promised Land. Close to his death, he got Joseph to promise, under oath, that he would not bury him in Egypt but in Cannan. He did not forget the promise of Canaan because of the pleasures of Egypt.  He did not feel intimidated before Pharaoh. He knew his covenant position and rights; and blessed Pharaoh from his spiritual position. This week, the Lord calls us to maintain a spiritual focus amid blessings; and utilize opportunities that come our way with heavenly wisdom. In this season, rather than lose what you have to pressure, you’ll receive what you do not have.

The 47th season is for acknowledging the Lord as Sovereign and King over all the earth. It is a time to celebrate God as the Lord and Owner of all things. Psalms 47 draws our attention to God: “Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! [2] For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. [3] He will subdue the peoples under us, And the nations under our feet. [4] He will choose our inheritance for us, The excellence of Jacob whom He loves. Selah [5] God has gone up with a shout, The LORD with the sound of a trumpet. [6] Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! [7] For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding. [8] God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne. [9] The princes of the people have gathered together, The people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted”. As Pharaoh became the owner of, and had claim to, all Egypt in Genesis 47, that is how Psalms 47 shows that all things belong to God. He can put one down and raise another up.

In the 47th season, God demonstrates His sovereignty and humbles the proud. Isaiah 47 Is about the humiliation of Babylon from God. The 47th season is a season of vengeance against the proud, wicked, and arrogant. It is when the mighty and ungodly are brought low. Isaiah 47:1-15 says, “Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called Tender and delicate. [2] Take the millstones and grind meal. Remove your veil, Take off the skirt, Uncover the thigh, Pass through the rivers. [3] Your nakedness shall be uncovered, Yes, your shame will be seen; I will take vengeance, And I will not arbitrate with a man.” [4] As for our Redeemer, the LORD of hosts is His name, The Holy One of Israel. [5] “Sit in silence, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; For you shall no longer be called The Lady of Kingdoms. [6] I was angry with My people; I have profaned My inheritance, And given them into your hand. You showed them no mercy; On the elderly you laid your yoke very heavily. [7] And you said, ‘I shall be a lady forever,’ So that you did not take these things to heart, Nor remember the latter end of them. [8] “Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, Who dwell securely, Who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, Nor shall I know the loss of children’; [9] But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments. [10] “For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’ [11] Therefore evil shall come upon you; You shall not know from where it arises. And trouble shall fall upon you; You will not be able to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, Which you shall not know. [12] “Stand now with your enchantments And the multitude of your sorceries, In which you have labored from your youth- Perhaps you will be able to profit, Perhaps you will prevail. [13] You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, And the monthly prognosticators Stand up and save you From what shall come upon you. [14] Behold, they shall be as stubble, The fire shall burn them; They shall not deliver themselves From the power of the flame; It shall not be a coal to be warmed by, Nor a fire to sit before! [15] Thus shall they be to you With whom you have labored, Your merchants from your youth; They shall wander each one to his quarter. No one shall save you”.

Jeremiah 47 is a witness that God humiliates the proud and exalts the humble in the 47th season. Think of 1947 and the British Empire. In this year, India won independence by non-violent resistance and humbled the United Kingdom. The British empire began to lose power and to decolonise territories. She did not prove to be a good custodian of the nations God gave her. The independence of India in 1947 was a statement that the great empire shall go down without the force of arms – though she and her allies won WW2 by military might. In 2007, the 47th year of Nigeria, God exalted Umar Musa Yar’Adua to the Presidency, and Goodluck Jonathan to be the Vice-president. Two former teachers became the foremost leaders in the nation. It was an act of God.

Jeremiah 47 is about God’s counsel against the Philistines. It’s about God’s season of plundering the Philistines. The 47th season is the season of the failure of the proud and fleshly. Jeremiah 47:1-4 says, “The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before Pharaoh attacked Gaza. [2] Thus says the LORD: “Behold, waters rise out of the north, And shall be an overflowing flood; They shall overflow the land and all that is in it, The city and those who dwell within; Then the men shall cry, And all the inhabitants of the land shall wail. [3] At the noise of the stamping hooves of his strong horses, At the rushing of his chariots, At the rumbling of his wheels, The fathers will not look back for their children, Lacking courage, [4] Because of the day that comes to plunder all the Philistines, To cut off from Tyre and Sidon every helper who remains; For the LORD shall plunder the Philistines, The remnant of the country of Caphtor“.

The 47th season is a time of healing and restoration, God judges dryness, disease, distress and death in the 47th season. Ezekiel 47 is about the healing waters that flowed from under the threshold of the temple; and brought healing to waters in the seas and whatever else it touches except the swamps. The healed waters caused the multiplication of fish and fishermen and the growing of trees used for food and medicine. Pray that healing waters will flow from your life to others and bring healing to their lives and situations. Water is refreshing; and people need refreshing in the 47th season. This chapter also speaks of the distribution of land to the twelve tribes of Israel. The waters of Ezekiel 47 flowed from 1947 when both Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the Voice of Healing Movement kicked off. This week in 2018, Pastor Paul Enenche and Dunamis Gospel Center International dedicated the world’s largest auditorium, the 100, 000 seat Glory Dome, in Abuja, Nigeria. That was a material and outward expression of something deeply spiritual. God is releasing healing-waters from Nigeria to the nations.

C. Week 47 is a 47th-Book-of-the-Bible week.

The 47th book of the Bible is Second Corinthians. This book opens with thanksgiving to the God of all comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, [4] who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. [5] For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. [6] Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. [7] And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation”. The 47th book reveals that the 47th week is a season of triumph in tribulation, trials, and troubles, gain in pain, life in death, generosity in poverty, strength in weakness, and comfort in conflicts.

The 47th book of the Bible is a call to focus on God and on the God-side of things – the invisible, the inner man, the spirit, and so on.  It is a season to enthrone the spiritual over and above the material; the spirit above flesh, the invisible above the visible, heaven above the earth, the supernatural above the natural, and God above man. The things that happen in a 47th season come to draw the attention of men, from themselves and things around them, to God – the Creator, Sovereign Ruler, and Sustainer, of the Universe. The 47th week is a season to look at all people and things from a spiritual perspective. This week, pray for yourself; that you may see all people and things as God sees them. Pray also that people will see you as God sees you; and relate with you accordingly.

D. Week 47 is a Judges 13-15 week. The 5th three chapters of the seventh book of the Bible are applicable to the fifth week in the seventh 49 days of the year. This section records Samson’s birth, emergence, and exploits by the Spirit. Samson was a man of great spiritual power but was also addicted to the flesh. He struggled to keep the balance between the spirit and the flesh. He exerted great physical strength but his power had its spiritual root in his consecration to God. The 47th season is a season of releasing spiritual energy.

This week, I call you specially to exalt the word of God, and the will of God, above all other things in your life. Give God the room He deserves in this season. Interpret all things from God’s perspective.  This week, do not judge anyone or anything by outward appearance; do not measure people and things per the flesh. Happy 47th week!

Welcome to the 46th week of the year! This is the week of November 12-18 in a Clear Year and November 13-19 in a Leap Year. The 46th week is the fourth week in the seventh seven weeks of the year. It is the middle of the seventh seven weeks for the year. It is the bridge-week in the seventh 49 days of the year. Week 46 is a fourth-season week. Bible patterns for decoding the mystery of the 46th week are 1) The fourth day of creation narrative. 2) The 46th book of the Bible. 3) The 46th chapters of the Bible. 4) The fourth three chapters (10-12) of the seventh book of the Bible, Judges.

Week 46 is a fourth-day-of-creation week. God made the luminaries on the fourth day of creation to be for light, to divide light from darkness, to rule the day and the night, and to be for signs, seasons, days, and years. Although God released light against darkness on the first day of creation, He made lights on the fourth day of creation. Why did He focus on light again on the fourth day of creation? Every fourth season is a fight-back season for darkness – working through fear, deception, delusion, and self-destruction. Men are tempted to shoot themselves in the foot in the fourth season because of mental or spiritual darkness. The fourth season is a season of divine reaction against darkness. In the fourth season, Heaven consolidates against darkness. Light is Heaven’s answer to the darkness of the fourth season. Heaven’s luminaries prevail over darkness through the Word, prayer, wise counsel, faith-obedience, revelations, divine presence, and prophetic decrees. The enemy attacks people with mental darkness in the fourth season; making them to do foolish things.. The fourth season is the time when men commit their greatest sins against relationships – relationship with God or with men – because of the work of darkness. The fourth book of the Bible, the fourth seven books of the Bible, the fourth chapters of the Bible, and the fourth seven chapters of the Bible, bear witness to this. Relationship-trials are recorded in, or associated with, the ‘fourths’  the Bible. Week 46 is a “Let’s Get Together” week. May the word of God keep darkness, confusion, and stumbling, away from you in this week.

Here are three things from fourth day of creation that are applicable to the 46th week:

It is a week of war against disunity and disorderliness.. God made lights (plural) on the fourth day. This week, surround yourself with your people. Do not walk alone. Set yourself against divisions and disunity.

It is a week of the dominion of Heaven. The luminaries were created to impact the earth. Do not be afraid. God is in control.

It is a week of war against darkness. The Spirit of God is invading strongholds of darkness and chambers of secret places to reveal hidden things. Get ready for revelations.

Week 46 is a book-of-First-Corinthians week. First Corinthians is the 46th book of the Bible. The book is Paul’s letter to the Corinthian believers, reacting to carnality in the church, answering questions about the mature of the believer’s position on certain controversial issues. Paul answered questions about controversial issues in the 46th book of the Bible – foods sacrificed to idols, head covering for women, gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit, to marry or not to marry, and so on. The 46th season is a season of controversies and seeming contradictions that make divine guidance imperative. You should not be in a hurry to judge in a 46th season. Paul also dealt with issues of Christian character – especially love; about the ministry of the Holy Spirit; Who is both Revealer of truth and Giver of spiritual or supernatural gifts; and about faith in the resurrection of the dead and the final triumph of God’s people over death.

The 46th book of the Bible is about wholeness and togetherness in the many-member Body of Christ. It is a ‘unity-of-the-Body’ week. First Corinthians 1:10 says, “Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment”.

The 46th book of the Bible is a call to love and unity; as against divisions and self-centered living. It is a call to submit our preferences to the principle of love and our oneness in Christ. It is a call to submit to the rule of God and live to the glory of God. It is a call to submit to the Holy Spirit and embrace the supernatural operations of God.

The year 1946 was a 46th season. WW2 had ended and the nations saw the need to come together. The first United Nations meeting was held in 1946 (from January 10). The League of Nations disbanded and joined the United Nations. Unity was in the air in 1946. The 46th week is a time unity; not a time of division. In the 46th week of 2019, the Intelligence Committee of the US Congress began its Public Hearing into Donald Trump’s impeachment inquiry. It was a fight between Democrats and Republicans in the United States. It was division in a season that called for unity. That was a violation of the demand of season. In 2020, there’s still war between Democrats and Republicans over results of the November 3 Presidential election.

This week, endeavor to pursue the glory of God in all you do; embrace love, and be open to the supernatural. Seek the presence of God in the atmosphere of love and unity. Love is the best answer to ‘questions’ of the 46th season. This week, do not exalt your head above your heart; or knowledge above love.

Week 46 is a Judges 10-12 week. The fourth three chapters of the seventh book of the Bible is applicable to the fourth week in the seventh 49 days of the year. This is the Jephthah-story section. Jephthah’s brothers had driven him away because he was the son of their father’s concubine. They had to look for him when the Ammonites oppressed Israel. In the 46th season, you cannot say to another, “I have no need of you”. After Jephthah had gained victory for his people against the Ammonites, the tribe of Ephraim rose against him. They said he did not invite them to the battle against Ammon. A civil war, which shouldn’t have been, broke out; Ephraim against Gilead. The 46th week is a time to come together; not a time to fight with one another. In this section of the book, also, Jephthah’s rash vow cost him his only daughter and child. This week, be sure to look before you leap. The Bible reveals that impulsive decisions and actions can be very costly in this season.

Week 46 is a 46th-chapters-of-the-Bible week. This 46th week of the year, the Lord is pointing to, and addressing, wholeness and togetherness in the lives of individuals, families, ministries, and even nations. The Lord is also offering His presence to those moving in this direction according His will; and they need not fear ANYTHING. In Genesis 46, Jacob’s family came together to move to Egypt to REUNITE with Joseph. God told Jacob to not be afraid; and promised to be with him. The word of the Lord to Jacob was light in darkness to him. Jacob needed that reassurance because he was relocating from ‘the Promised Land’ to settle in Egypt. It is a powerful thing to have God’s word (and to walk by it) in the fourth season. Twice in Psalm 46 (verses 7 and 11), we read “The LORD of hosts is with US; The God of Jacob is OUR refuge. Selah”. Isaiah 46:3-4 says, “Listen to Me, O HOUSE OF JACOB, And all the remnant of the HOUSE OF ISRAEL, Who have been upheld by Me from birth, Who have been carried from the womb: Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you”.

Jeremiah 46:27-28 says, “But do not fear, O My servant JACOB, And do not be dismayed, O ISRAEL! For behold, I will save you from afar, And your offspring from the land of their captivity; Jacob shall return, have rest and be at ease; No one shall make him afraid. Do not fear, O Jacob My servant,” says the LORD, “For I am with you; For I will make a complete end of all the nations To which I have driven you, But I will not make a complete end of you. I will rightly correct you, For I will not leave you wholly unpunished.” Those words from Prophet Jeremiah must have been reassuring to the Jews who had gone into captivity in a foreign land. God may lead in unfamiliar ways in the 46th season but you just have to trust Him. Ezekiel 46 is about the prince, the priests, and the people – with their ‘territories and boundaries’. This shows that the place and privilege of everyone should be maintained and guarded in the 46th season. The 46th week is not a ‘one-man’ week; it is an all-people week. It’s an all-inclusive, non-exclusive week.

Week 46 is a fourth-seven books of the Bible week in the 7th seven weeks of the year. Living in the 46th week of the year is like walking through the fourth seven books of the Bible (Song of songs, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, and Hosea). In these seven books, the prophets ruled by the word of the Lord. They spoke what they saw and heard; and their words came to pass. They had dominion and ruled because they were in alignment with God. Most of the things the prophets said or did, didn’t make sense; but they expressed the mind of God. You cannot connect to God with your head in the 46th season. It didn’t make sense to many Jews that Jeremiah said Nebuchadnezzar was God’s servant and would be taking over nations including Judah. It didn’t make sense to them that it was God’s will for the seed of Jacob to become captives of Babylon; and serve an ungodly king. The kind of unity God will bless this week is, first, unity with Himself – the Lord. Hosea married a harlot because God said so.

The 46th week is a season of contention between the kingdom of God and the kingdoms of men. This week, God will scatter those who are uniting against Him and His purposes. This is a week to exalt the Word and Counsel of God above the wishes and words of men. In a 46th season, God does not stand with those pay allegiance to idols. Isaiah 46:5-10 says, “To whom will you liken Me, and make Me equal And compare Me, that we should be alike? [6] They lavish gold out of the bag, And weigh silver on the scales; They hire a goldsmith, and he makes it a god; They prostrate themselves, yes, they worship. [7] They bear it on the shoulder, they carry it And set it in its place, and it stands; From its place it shall not move. Though one cries out to it, yet it cannot answer Nor save him out of his trouble. [8] “Remember this, and show yourselves men; Recall to mind, O you transgressors. [9] Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, [10] Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure.” God may seem to ignore idol worship in this season; but it is only for a while. He wants all eyes to be on Him. His will, in this season, is that all knees will bow to Him and every mouth will confess Him. This week, God’s Ekklesia and prophetic people must take their place in the heavenly places and rule and decree God’s Counsel over those who regard idols but disregard the God of all flesh – the Creator of heaven and earth.

Week 46 is the end of the Old Testament side of seventh 7 weeks of the year. Every seven-week season is like a journey through the Bible and has both the Old Testament and New Testament sides. The first 28 days is the Old Testament side and the remaining 21 days is the New Testament side. This week is the fourth in the seven-week season and expresses the last nine books of the Old Testament (Obadiah – Malachi). They are the bridge to the New Testament. Week 46 is the bridge to the New Testament side of the current seven-week season.

This 46th week, may you and all yours experience togetherness – as Jacob and his entire FAMILY came together to move to Egypt; and reunite with Joseph in Genesis 46. May true love override differences and preferences as Paul taught in the 46th book of the Bible. May everyone (the prince, the priest, and the people) have a recognized and respected place as Ezekiel 46 prescribed. Although the Lord is speaking togetherness and wholeness this week, the enemy will want to unite his own and scatter God’s people. Pray and insist that unity will be impossible for those coming together outside, and against, God’s purpose. They will gather to scatter! This week, I speak wholeness and togetherness into your life in the name of Jesus Christ. Pull yourself together. Reach out to parts of YOU that are disconnected. There is REUNION in the air. Rise and speak wholeness and togetherness to your FAMILY and NATION. As you do that, may the things that no eye had seen, nor ear heard, nor heart conceived be revealed and brought to light this week – as in the 46th book of the Bible. May the presence of God ACTIVELY go with you throughput this week as you line up with Him and the brethren. As Jacob and his family moved from Canaan to Egypt in Genesis 46, may the Lord lead you to cross over to a higher and better realm life in this 46th week. Happy 46th week!!!

The Mystery of the 45th Week

0

Welcome to the 45th week of the year. The 45th week is the third week in the seventh 49 days of the year. The Bible patterns for understanding this week are 1) the third day creation narrative, 2) the 45th book of the Bible, 3) the 45th chapters of the Bible, and 4) the third three chapters of the book of Judges – the seventh book of the Bible.

Week 45 is a third-day-of-creation week. We can draw the following inferences about the 45 week from the third day of creation narrative.

1. It is a season of overthrow and promotion. It is a season of final war against oppression. It is a season to overthrow vertical and overhead barriers. On the third day of creation, God commanded the waters over the earth to be gathered together in one place.

2. It is a season of revealing what is hidden – men or truth. On the third day of creation, God commanded the dry ground (that had been under the waters) to appear. It is a season for the appearance and manifestation of new platforms. New leaders emerge in the 45th season. Truth is also revealed to counter falsehood in the 45th season.

3. It is a season of bearing responsibility by bringing forth life and sustenance in obedience to the voice of God. On the third day of creation, God commanded the dry ground to bring forth vegetation (life and sustenance). It is a season of call to take up responsibility for the sustenance and wellbeing of others.

Week 45 is a book of Romans week.

In the book of Romans, the 45th book of the Bible, Paul released great revelations about grace, faith, and the righteousness of God.

The 45th book of the Bible is a book of God’s sovereignty, grace and deep revelations. So, the first name of this week is SOVEREIGNTY, the second name is GRACE. The third name is REVELATION.

This is the week of THE SOVEREIGN LORD who said, “Jacob I have loved and Esau I have hated”.  Romans 9:19-21 says, “You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” [20] But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” [21] Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?” In the 45th season, God does not owe man any explanation; and man cannot question His decision.

This is a week of GRACE! The Lord grant you favor beyond your qualification. This week, success and honor may go to those who do not merit it. Joseph’s brothers did not deserve the royal treatment they received in Genesis 45. In this chapter also, even Joseph gave God the credit for his promotion and advancement in Egypt. The 45th book of the Bible (Romans) is a book of grace. This book speaks of God “who justifies the ungodly”. In this book, righteousness is by faith – not works. The 45th President of the United States won the 2016 under a special covering of grace. God put Donald Trump in the White House as a sign of grace – both to him and to the United States. Grace has been shielding him. Grace is also protecting the United Kingdom as the nation goes through her 45th seven years. The 45th week is a week of grace! The 45th book of the Bible says, “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy” (Romans 9:16).

This is a week of REVELATION. This week, falsehood will give way to some truth we’ve never heard. In Genesis 45:4, Joseph told his brothers, in the presence of Benjamin, “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt”. Benjamin had never heard that version of Joseph’s story before. All he heard was that a wild beast tore his brother. The 45th season is a season of revelations. That is the reason the book of Romans is the 45th book of the Bible. In that book, the Holy Spirit revealed, through Paul, truth that had been hidden since the world began. The #MeToo Movement sparked off in the season of the 45th president of the United States; and within the 45th seven years of the United Kingdom from 1707. This week, in some quarters, falsehood will come face to face with Truth and will collapse before the Truth. Do it, Lord!

In the 45th book of the Bible, Paul took responsibility to preach the gospel to all men – Jews, Greeks, Romans, and Barbarians – as a debt that must be paid. This is an all-people’ week. The 45th is opposed to racial or gender discrimination. In the 45th book of the Bible, Paul taught grace and justification by faith; and said Christ the is end of pursuing righteousness through the law. The 45th season is the end of the old and the beginning of the new. Both Hitler and Mussolini died in 1945 to mark the end of an era – the end of Nazism and Fascism.

Week 45 is a 45th chapters of the Bible week. In Genesis 45, Joseph took the lid off the lies of his brothers and revealed himself to his brothers. He introduced his family to Pharaoh. The king of Egypt took responsibility for the sustenance of Jacob’s family.

Psalm 45 reveals that the 45th season is a season of establishment and joy. This is a week of the revelation of the righteousness of God against wickedness and ungodliness. Psalm 45:6-7 says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions”. This agrees with the 45th book of the Bible. Romans 1:18 says, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness”. In the 45th season, God stands with those who love righteousness and hate wickedness. His truth and righteousness will be established many quarters in this 45th week of the year.

In Isaiah 45, God reveals Himself as Sovereign. The name ‘The Lord’ is used 16 times. The phrase ‘there is no other’ or ‘there is none besides’ is used eight times in this chapter. God is sovereign in the 45th season. In this chapter, Cyrus received mercy from God and extended mercy to the Jews. He took responsibility for the Jews and for the rebuilding of the temple at Jerusalem. Grace comes with responsibility! If you have received mercy, you cannot be stingy with mercy. You cannot stand in grace and be un-gracious to others. This is a week to both enjoy and share the grace of God. Grace is a product of God’s sovereignty. You cannot question God in a 45th season.

Jeremiah 45 reveals that the 45th season is a season of overthrows. Jeremiah 45:4-5, God spoke to Baruch through Jerusalem: “Thus you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the LORD: “Behold, what I have built I will break down, and what I have planted I will pluck up, that is, this whole land. And do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I will bring adversity on all flesh,” says the LORD. “But I will give your life to you as a prize in all places, wherever you go.”‘” This week is for overthrows and establishment.

Ezekiel 45 reveals that the 45th is holy ground. In this chapter, the Lord gave instructions concerning the place of the sanctuary; and and also gave commands concerning the the temple, the priests, the prince, and the sacrifices. The 45th magnifies the sovereignty of God. In Genesis 45, Joseph said “God did it”. The 45th book of that says that God’s calling and election are without repentance. God has the final word in the 45th season.

The 45th week is a Judges 7-9 week. The third three chapters of the seventh book of the Bible is applicable to the third week in the seventh 49 days of the year. The battles and victories of Gideon are recorded in the seventh and eighth chapters. The people wanted to reward Gideon with kingship. He would have been the first king of Israel but he rejected the offer. The 45th season is the season of servant-leaders. In the ninth chapter, Gideon’s power-hungry son, Abimelech, killed seventy sons of his father in his bid to become king. He died in the process. The third season is for the humble and downtrodden; not for the proud and arrogant. The message of the 45th season is that those who express falsehood must humble themselves and embrace truth; and those who have received grace must be gracious to others.

This is a week of revelations and resurrections. What seemed dead, buried, and forgotten, will amazingly stand, speak, and act. This week, the winner of the 2020 US Presidential election will be revealed. Will Donald Trump win a second term as POTUS? That would be a great win for conservative America and for a man disrespected, criticized, and hated by many. It would be a great victory and a note of vindication for a man that escaped impeachment and waded through storms in 4 years. If it happens, his foes will cry bitterly; but he and his supporters would laugh loudly. Will Kamala Harris, a liberal Asian-American woman, become the first female Vice President of the United States? Women voted for the first time in the US in 1920. It would be a great message if a woman becomes US Vice President in 2020 – one hundred years of commencement of female suffrage in America. Women are in the House of Representatives, Senate, and Supreme Court. Why not in the Presidency? This week, the seemingly impossible will happen! The not-qualified will be qualified. False reports that had been circulating and spreading as truth would be exposed for what they are; and the truth shall stand. I pray that is the testimony in your own life. Happy 45th week.

The 44th Week: The Mystery of October 29 – November 4

4

Welcome to the 44th week of the year. The forty-fourth week is the second week in the seventh seven weeks of the year. The Bible model for understanding the 44th season consists of the second day of creation narrative, the 44th book of the Bible, the 44th chapters of the Bible, and the second three chapters of the book of Judges.

The 44th week is a second day of creation week. On the second day of creation, God made the firmament to forcefully thwart the monopoly of the waters. God used the firmament to make a way where there is no way; and He called the firmament heaven. As a second-day-of-creation week, the 44th week is a season when Heaven makes a way where there is no way. God sends help from heaven to make a way where there is no way. This is a week of pain and pressures.  This is a week in which God (exceptionally) makes a way where there is no way.

Week 44 is a 44th-chapters-of-the-Bible week. In Genesis 44, Benjamin was arrested by the Egyptian authorities for an offense he did not commit. Joseph commanded his servants to hide his silver cup in Benjamin’s sack. As Benjamin and his older brothers journeyed back home, Egyptians went after them, stooped them, searched them, and arrested Benjamin for ‘stealing’ Joseph’s cup. They brought the travelers back to the city. Joseph knew they did no wrong but had his reasons for doing what he did, but his brothers did not know what was going on. He used his power and authority on them. It was a set-up. Judah, who had pledged his life to Jacob for Benjamin, stood to plead for Benjamin. He was Benjamin’s advocate. All of that was to prove to those who had fought God and Joseph’s dreams that God is greater than them all. They would learn that later. The 44th week is a week of set-ups. This is a week when those who master-mind things can also turn to attack or prosecute those who fall into their traps. This is a week when those who have done good and those who have done no wrong can be accused, arrested, and called to judgment. This is a week of traps and snares. In this 44th week, the upright may seem to be in big trouble but God will turn things around to favor them.

In Psalm 44, God’s people, remembering the ancient works of God, called on God to step into their case with help. Psalm 44:1-8,22-26 says, “We have heard with our ears, O God, Our fathers have told us, The deeds You did in their days, In days of old: You drove out the nations with Your hand, But them You planted; You afflicted the peoples, and cast them out. For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them. You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob. Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, Nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, And have put to shame those who hated us. In God we boast all day long, And praise Your name forever. Selah Yet for Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Awake! Why do You sleep, O Lord? Arise! Do not cast us off forever. Why do You hide Your face, And forget our affliction and our oppression? For our soul is bowed down to the dust; Our body clings to the ground. Arise for our help, And redeem us for Your mercies’ sake”. This is a week of absolute trust and confidence in God. This week, you cannot be too busy or too forgetful to pray.

In Isaiah 44, God is the Redeemer of Israel – His people whom He formed and chose. In this chapter, God mocked idols and those who worship them; and promised to restore Judah. The 44th season is a season of power-clashes. It is when the power of God is revealed. This is a week to focus on the powerful Living God.

Isaiah 44:1-8 says, “Yet hear now, O Jacob My servant, And Israel whom I have chosen. Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you: ‘Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring; They will spring up among the grass Like willows by the watercourses.’ One will say, ‘I am the LORD’s’; Another will call himself by the name of Jacob; Another will write with his hand, ‘The LORD’s,’ And name himself by the name of Israel. “Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, Since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, Let them show these to them. Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.'” Isaiah 44: 21-28 says “Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me! I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions, And like a cloud, your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth; Break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, And glorified Himself in Israel. Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: “I am the LORD, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself; Who frustrates the signs of the babblers, And drives diviners mad; Who turns wise men backward, And makes their knowledge foolishness; Who confirms the word of His servant, And performs the counsel of His messengers; Who says to Jerusalem, ‘You shall be inhabited,’ To the cities of Judah, ‘You shall be built,’ And I will raise up her waste places; Who says to the deep, ‘Be dry! And I will dry up your rivers’; Who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd, And he shall perform all My pleasure, Saying to Jerusalem, “You shall be built,” And to the temple, “Your foundation shall be laid.”‘ Isaiah 44:9-20 indicates that the 44th season is a time to open the eyes of men the weakness and folly of idol-worship; and turn them to the living God. Isaiah 44:9-20 says, “Those who make an image, all of them are useless, And their precious things shall not profit; They are their own witnesses; They neither see nor know, that they may be ashamed. [10] Who would form a god or mold an image That profits him nothing? [11] Surely all his companions would be ashamed; And the workmen, they are mere men. Let them all be gathered together, Let them stand up; Yet they shall fear, They shall be ashamed together. [12] The blacksmith with the tongs works one in the coals, Fashions it with hammers, And works it with the strength of his arms. Even so, he is hungry, and his strength fails; He drinks no water and is faint. [13] The craftsman stretches out his rule, He marks one out with chalk; He fashions it with a plane, He marks it out with the compass, And makes it like the figure of a man, According to the beauty of a man, that it may remain in the house. [14] He cuts down cedars for himself, And takes the cypress and the oak; He secures it for himself among the trees of the forest. He plants a pine, and the rain nourishes it. [15] Then it shall be for a man to burn, For he will take some of it and warm himself; Yes, he kindles it and bakes bread; Indeed he makes a god and worships it; He makes it a carved image, and falls down to it. [16] He burns half of it in the fire; With this half he eats meat; He roasts a roast, and is satisfied. He even warms himself and says, “Ah! I am warm, I have seen the fire.” [17] And the rest of it he makes into a god, His carved image. He falls down before it and worships it, Prays to it and says, “Deliver me, for you are my god!” [18] They do not know nor understand; For He has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, And their hearts, so that they cannot understand. [19] And no one considers in his heart, Nor is there knowledge nor understanding to say, “I have burned half of it in the fire, Yes, I have also baked bread on its coals; I have roasted meat and eaten it; And shall I make the rest of it an abomination? Shall I fall down before a block of wood?” [20] He feeds on ashes; A deceived heart has turned him aside; And he cannot deliver his soul, Nor say, “Is there not a lie in my right hand?”

In the 44th book of the Bible (Acts), God used the ministry of Paul and his associates to turn many from idolatry to serve the living God.

God is final authority in the 44th season. He will show His strength in this 44th week.

Jeremiah 44 is God’s counsel against unbelievers who heard His Word from Jeremiah but rejected it and went to Egypt. Jeremiah 44:26-28 says, “Therefore hear the word of the LORD, all Judah who dwell in the land of Egypt: ‘Behold, I have sworn by My great name,’ says the LORD, ‘that My name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, “The Lord GOD lives.” Behold, I will watch over them for adversity and not for good. And all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by famine, until there is an end to them. Yet a small number who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah; and all the remnant of Judah, who have gone to the land of Egypt to dwell there, shall know whose words will stand, Mine or theirs”.

God is the Ruler and Lawgiver in the 44th season.

In Ezekiel 44, God gave the new rules for the Temple. In this chapter, the Lord is absolute authority. The gate He passed through is to be shut and no one is to pass through it; because the Lord passed through it. The Lord also gave commands concerning the Prince, the Levites, and Priests.  They are all subject to God’s commands.

The 44th week is a Judges 4-6 week. The second three chapters of the seventh book of the Bible is applicable to the second week in the seventh 49 days of the year. Deborah and Barak emerged in the fourth chapter and defeated Jabin’s army that was under the command of Sisera in the fifth changer. Gideon emerged in the sixth chapter; empowered by the spirit of God to lead Israel to battle against the Midianites. God used women to do great work in the first two chapters. God sends help from despised and unexpected quarters in 44th seasons like this 44th week.

The 44th week is a book-of-Acts week. The book of Acts is the 44th book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 44th week. In this book, God sent the Helper, the Holy Spirit to the Church. He was the secret behind the phenomenal growth of the church in the book of Acts. In the book of Acts, the authorities did everything to put the Church of Jesus Christ in check. The church submitted to God rather than submitting to the dictates of the human authorities. They said, “We would obey God rather than men”. There were reactions from the authorities (false accusation, physical abuse, imprisonment, and killings) but God always proved Himself greater than the authorities and their schemes. He granted mysterious escapes and deliverances to His persecuted people. God demonstrated His Superior Power to thwart the monopoly of hindering and opposing human authorities; and advance His church. He granted power for miracles and amazing signs to His Christ-followers; and opened prisons mysteriously to release His servants. The church was unstoppable in the book of Acts. The 44th week is when God makes way, forcefully, where there is no way. God sends help in second seasons like this44th week. The 44th week could be a season of harassment and intimidation through persecution; a season arrests, physical abuses, and incarceration; but it is also a season of mysterious deliverances and escapes. The 44th season is a season of conflict between liberals and conservatives, between, those who know God and those who do not; and between the weak and the strong.  The seasons compels those who know God to call upon Him for help and intervention. It is a season of conflict between the gods and God; in which God demonstrates His sovereignty and superior majesty. The word ‘prison’ appears in 66 verses in the entire New Testament (NKJV). Twenty-nine of those verses are in the book of Acts. In this book, God demonstrated that human prisons and security guards were like toys before Him. Through prayer and manifestations of the power of God, the Church remained unstoppable; and even wore out the human authorities. The 44th season is a season of intense battle. The Lord clothed His Church with power at the beginning of the 44th book of the Bible because the 44th season is for ‘clash of powers’ and ‘show of force’. As the Church was unstoppable in the 44th book of the Bible, that is how you should be unstoppable this 44th week of the year.

How has the mystery of the 44th season played out in modern history?

THE YEAR 1944

1944 was a year of mass escape attempts from prison. The Cowra breakout of August 5 involving over 499 Japanese POW, the great escape of March 1944 involving 75 Royal Air Force POWs, and the ozbalt raid leading to the escape of 105 people. 1944 was the year of Operation Overlord when the strength of the Nazi adversary was broken at the Battle Normandy – the beginning of the end of the War.

THE 44TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

In the season of the 44th president of the United States, the strong man of Al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, and the strong man of Libya, Muammar Ghadafi, fell. There was also persecution against those who stood against same-sex marriage laws.

THE 44TH YEAR OF NIGERIA

In the 44th year of Nigeria (October 2003 – October 2004), there were violent clashes in Portharcourt and Yelwa – Plateau State and Kano. That was about the first year of Obasanjo’s second term. Boko Haram launched their first attack in Yobe State in the 44th year of Nigeria (between December 23-31, 2003).

This week in Nigeria (2018), Shi’ite Muslims backing the cause of Zakzaky, and demanding his release from prison will protest in Abuja for three days. They are daring the government and also seeking to possess the airspace over Aso Rock. The 44th season is a season of clashes with authorities.

This week, the Lord will deliver you from haters and persecutors of the guiltless and innocent. Receive strength to pray; and expect supernatural intervention in your circumstances. This 44th week of the year, God will send you needed (but unexpected) help as He did in the 44th book of the Bible. Mysterious interventions are on the way. Someone is praying for you!  Happy 44th week!!!

The Mystery of the 43rd Week (October 22-28).

0

Welcome to the 43rd week of the year! The 43rd week is the beginning of the seventh seven weeks of the year. The Bible patterns for understanding the 43rd week are the first day of creation narrative, the 43rd book of the Bible, the 43rd chapters of the Bible, and the first three chapters of the 7th book of the Bible, Judges.

Week 43 is a first-day-of-creation week. On the first day of creation, God manifested as Light to dominate darkness. Week 43 is therefore a week of the dominion of light. Darkness seeks to rule the season through falsehood, deception, mental darkness and confusion; but light prevails. This is a season to rule by revealed knowledge and truth. It is a season to dominate through elevated understanding. In the book of John, the 43rd book of the Bible, Jesus is the Light of the world. God also gave name to light and darkness. He called light day; and called darkness night. This is a day of identity-declaration.

Week 43 is a book-of-John week. The gospel per John is the 43rd book of the Bible. I want to draw your attention to four things in the 43rd book about the 43rd season.

1. The book of John is about the materialization of the spiritual. In this book, God became man (the Word became flesh) and lived among men. Jesus became the Tabernacle of God in the midst of men. This is a week of materialization and I pray you get your share of it.

2. The book of John is about seeing and believing. In this book, Jesus said, “Unless you see signs and wonders, you will not believe”. When Thomas heard that Jesus had risen from the dead he said, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” In the NT the word ‘see’ ‘seeing’,  ‘seen’, or ‘sees’, appears in about 370 verses but in the book of John alone, it appears in about 71 verses. That is about 19.2%. The 43rd book of the Bible also says a lot about believing. This book is about believing. The word ‘believe’ is used in 226 verses of the New Testament (NKJV). 84 of those verses is in the book of John. That is about 37.2%. The heroes of the 43rd season are ‘the believers’. This week, you will see as you believe; and you will believe as you see.

3. This week, the Lord will help your family in a special way! The 43rd week is a family-week. The first miracle in the 43rd book of the Bible happened at a wedding ceremony; and the healing miracles touché families (the Nobleman’s son, the helpless man at the Pool of Bethesda, Lazarus and his sisters, the blind man and his parents). In the 43rd book, Jesus was also preoccupied with the Father and His status as the Son. The Son could not do a thing without the Father and the Father also handed over all things to the Son. This is a week to work together as family. You see the same thing in in the first 43rd chapter of the Bible. In Genesis 43 Jacob gave his sons the backing they needed to go to Egypt and buy food. He sent the son of his right hand, Benjamin, to go with them. Without Benjamin, they would not find favor in Egypt. In that chapter, also, Jacob’s 12 sons sat and ate together in the house of their brother. They had not experienced such togetherness in many years. Genesis 43 is about ‘father’, ‘mother’, ‘brother’, ‘house’, and ‘home’. It’s about family. Make this week about family!

4. The 43rd season is about making claims and proving your claims. The 43rd week is a week of verification, validation and vindication; not a week of words and stories. It is a week of action. This is a season to show who you are by your works. The 43rd book of the Bible, John, has no record of the story of the birth of Jesus or of the voice speaking from heaven that He is the son of God. In 43rd book of the Bible, Jesus performed miraculous signs to prove He is the son of God so that men can believe Him. He said, “If I do not do the works…don’t believe me”. Jesus proved His Son-ship by the works He did. The book is about telling who you are by what you do. In the book of John, The Jews asked John, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” (John 1:25). They wanted to know him by what he did – to match his work with his identity. This is a week to declare your identity by your works. George W. Bush was the 43rd President of the United States. He proved himself the son of his father. He did and finished the work his father started. George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States, declared war against Iraq to save the oil-rich Kuwait from annexation. His son, Bush 43, also fought Iraq in a vengeful battle against terrorism. He captured and imprisoned the President, Saddam Hussein in 2003. The foe died in 2006 in the season of Bush 43 the son of Bush 41. In the 43rd book of the Bible, Jesus told the Father, “I have finished the work you gave me to do”.

5. The 43rd season is for declaring and standing strong on your spiritual identity. It is the season of those who know who they are. Jesus made several identity claims in the 43rd book of the Bible: I am the Bread of life; I am the Light of the world; I am He; I am the Good Shepherd; I am the Door; I am the Resurrection and the Life; I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; I am the True Vine. The 43rd book of the Bible does not focus on the natural descent or identity of Jesus or John the Baptist. This is a season to focus on your root in God and on your spiritual identity. Isaiah 43:1 says, “But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine”.

6. The 43rd book of the Bible is about the life, light and love of God. That immediately reveals what the evil one thinks in the 43rd season. It is a season of conflict between life and death, light and darkness, love and hate. Terrorists unleashed wickedness against the United States in the season of her 43rd President. This week, life, light and love will trumph over death, darkness and hate.

This week you will see materialization, validation, and family. This week, you will see and believe; and if you believe, you will see.

THE 43RD BOOK AND SIGNS

There are 14 signs and proofs in the 43rd book of the Bible. The 43rd season is a season of both believing and seeing and seeing and believing. It is a season to shut the mouths of doubters., to.

John 1:32-34

And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.”

John 1:45-51

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote-Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!” Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!” Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

John 2:11

This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

John 2:18-19

So the Jews answered and said to Him, “What sign do You show to us, since You do these things?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

John 3:1-2

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

John 4:11-19

The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?” Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.” Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.” The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.” The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.

John 4:46-48

So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.”

John 6:2,14

Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased. Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

John 7:31

And many of the people believed in Him, and said, “When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?”

John 9:16-17

Therefore some of the Pharisees said, “This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” And there was a division among them. They said to the blind man again, “What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”

John 10:37-42

If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand. And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed. Then many came to Him and said, “John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.” And many believed in Him there.

John 11:45-48

Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him. But some of them went away to the Pharisees and told them the things Jesus did. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, “What shall we do? For this Man works many signs. If we let Him alone like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation.”

John 12:18,37

For this reason the people also met Him, because they heard that He had done this sign. But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him,

John 20:24-30

Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book;

Week 43 is a 43rd chapters of the Bible week. In Genesis 43, Joseph’s brothers took their kid brother, Benjamin, to Egypt to confirm to Joseph that they were not spies but sons of one man. Joseph had kept Simeon in custody waiting for them to bring Benjamin. Simeon was released. They all ate together in Joseph’s house. His dream of being reunited with his brothers became reality – even as they bowed and prostrated before Him. The 43rd season is a family season. Notice the number of times the words ‘father’, ‘mother’, ‘brother’, ‘house’, ‘home’ is used in the chapter.

Psalm 43 opens with “Vindicate me, O God, And plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man! [2] For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?” The be vindicated is to proven right.

In Isaiah 43, God proves He is Supreme and Superior. Isaiah 43:8-13 says, “Bring out the blind people who have eyes, And the deaf who have ears. [9] Let all the nations be gathered together, And let the people be assembled. Who among them can declare this, And show us former things? Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified; Or let them hear and say, “It is truth.” [10] “You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. [11] I, even I, am the LORD, And besides Me there is no savior. [12] I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the LORD, “that I am God. [13] Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?” Concerning His people, He said in Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you”.

Witnesses confirm and validate claims. God said, “You are my witnesses that I am God”.

In Jeremiah 43, those who heard the word from Jeremiah did not believe he heard God. Jeremiah 43:1-3 says, “Now it happened, when Jeremiah had stopped speaking to all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, all these words, [2] that Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men spoke, saying to Jeremiah, “You speak falsely! The LORD our God has not sent you to say, ‘Do not go to Egypt to dwell there.’ [3] But Baruch the son of Neriah has set you against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death or carry us away captive to Babylon.” Unbelief is a great sin in the 43rd season. Losers n the 43rd season are ‘the unbelievers’

Ezekiel 43 is the Prophet’s vision of the temple, the dwelling place of God. The 43rd season is the season of the temple. It is the season of the manifestation of the temple of God. In the 43rd book of the Bible, Jesus is the temple of God. In the 43rd season, men look for God among men. That is why God became man and lived among men in the 43rd book of the Bible.

Week 43 is a Judges 1-3 week. The first three chapters of the seventh book of the Bible is applicable to the first week of the seventh seven weeks of the year. In this section of the book, Israel fell back into disobedience, served idols, and began to be oppressed by her Canaanite neighbors and surrounding nations. The enemies they had subdued regained strength to fight them. Darkness was going to overtake the nation but began to raise Judges (saviors) for them. The first three Judges were Othniel, Ehud, and Shamgar.

The 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush (son of George H. W. Bush) was in a light-against-darkness battle with terrorism and terrorists. On September 11, 2001, terrorists gave the United States a massive attack in the bombing of the WTC twin towers. Bush ’43 fought Afghanistan and Iraq in vengeful rage against terrorism. The US captured Saddam Hussein in December 2003. Hurricanes Katerina hit the US in 2005.

THIS WEEK

1. If you want to see the glory of God, believe! This is a week of convincing proofs.

2. Manifest the One in you before situations and circumstances that dare you

3. Give God room. Direct your attention to the temple and dwelling place of God.

PRAYERS

1. COFIRM YOUR WORD TO ME. LET YOUR WORD BECOME FLESH IN MY LIFE.

2. GIVE A SIGN TO PEOPLE AROUND ME CONCERNING ME

3. LET MY LIFE PRODUCE SIGNS THIS WEEK

The Mystery of the 42nd Week (October 15-21)

4

Welcome to the 42nd week of the year! The 42nd week is the seventh week in the sixth 49 days of the year. The Bible patterns for unlocking the mystery of the 42nd week are the seventh day of creation narrative, the 42nd book of the Bible, the 42nd chapters of the Bible, and the seventh three chapters (plus the remaining chapters) of the sixth book of the Bible.

Week 42 is a seventh day of creation week. This is a seventh season week. It is a Sabbath-week! It is a season of rest from toil and struggles. It is a week of salvation and redemption. It is a week of release. It is a week of realizing dreams and receiving expectations and answers to prayers.

This is the week of “Your prayers have been answered”. Those who have been pushing forward with secret tears of agony will be comforted this week. Those who have been mockingly asked “where is your God?” will have answers this week. Those who have been asking God, since the beginning of this year, “why have you forsaken me?” or “when will you answer me?” will see the glory of God this week. This is the 42nd week of the year. This week, impossible doors will open before you in answer to prayers and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Week 42 is a 42nd chapters of the Bible week. In Genesis 42, Jacob heard there was food in Egypt and sent his sons to go and buy food. That was an answer to prayer. Eventually they never spent a dime to buy food in Egypt because Joseph was there. Joseph’s dreams also came to pass. When he saw his brothers bow to him without recognizing him, he remembered his dreams. In the 42nd season, God leads us to find ready-made answers to problems. In Job 42, God turned around the captivity of Job and restored his fortunes – after he prayed for his friends. In Psalm 42, the psalmist prayed sorely with expectation of divine intervention – feeling cast down and his enemies mocking him and his faith in God.

Isaiah 42 is the end of contentions and the public presentation of God’s Elect. This is the week to reward secret labors. The one God has chosen is also the answer to the prayers of people.  Isaiah 42:6-7 says, “I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles, To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house”. Isaiah 42:15-16 says, “I will lay waste the mountains and hills, And dry up all their vegetation; I will make the rivers coastlands, And I will dry up the pools. I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them”. In Jeremiah 42, the Prophet is honored and consulted for the word of the Lord. In this chapter, the Lord heard Jeremiah’s prayer and gave an answer to those who inquired of Him from the Prophet. In Ezekiel 42, there were measurements to separate the Holy areas from the common. The 42nd is the dividing line between the old and the new; between pains and gains.

Week 42 is a book of Luke week. In the 42nd book of the Bible (Luke), God answered Zechariah’s prayers through Angel Gabriel; and Elizabeth conceived. Mary received the message of virgin conception from Angel Gabriel. Angels are on assignment in the 42nd season to bring answers to praying people. There is a lot about praying in the 42nd book of the Bible. Zechariah was praying in the temple before Angel Gabriel came to him. Simeon and Anna were prayer warriors.  Jesus was praying when a voice from Heaven acknowledged Him both at baptism and at the transfiguration. In the eleventh chapter of Luke, the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray. Jesus taught them importunity in prayer in the eleventh and eighteenth chapters of Luke. In the 22nd chapter, He agonized in prayer; and sweat from His body became like great drops of blood. The 42nd book of the Bible reveals that prayer is the key to prevailing and breaking through in the 42nd season.

This week, you will pray as Jesus prayed, and taught His disciples to pray, in the 42nd book of the Bible; and praying will work wonders for you. “Lord, show up this week for those who are oppressed, for those who are depressed, for those who are mocked, and for those who have been long in the waiting room”.

Week 42 is a Joshua 19-24 week. The seventh three chapters, and the remainder of the sixth book of the Bible are applicable to the seventh week in the sixth 49 days of the year. In this section of the book, Joshua and Israel acknowledged that God fulfilled every promise He made to the nation and not one word failed. This is a week of fulfilling promises.

It is a great thing to receive help in the 42nd season. About 1.5 million Jews were killed in 100 days between August and October 1942; making it, according to Times of Israel, “the period of the highest death in the 20th century”. It is a marvelous thing to find help in the 42nd season. The Rwanda genocide of 1994 that claimed about a million lives between April 7 and July 15 happened in the season of the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton. This is a week of full recovery and restoration (physically, materially, spiritually, and socially); it is not a week of decimation.

This week, following the pattern in God’s Holy Word, I will ask you to do the following:

1. Persevere in the place of prayer. Jesus taught importunity in prayer in the 42nd book of the Bible. Job was restored in the 42nd chapter of the 18th book of the Bible after he prayed for his friends. Pray for deliverances.

2. Believe and expect the impossible to be made possible for you. This week is for the release of great faith. In the 42nd book of the Bible, the centurion, the Syrophoenician woman, and Jairus exercised great faith. The fulfillment of Joseph’s dream in Genesis 42 was an impossible thing made possible. The restoration of Job’s health, wealth, and family, was an impossible thing made possible.

3. Expect vindication and validation. Expect the fulfillment of prophecies and promises. The 42nd season is the end of waiting and the time for the confirmation of God’s word.

4. Expect strange good messengers of God with strange good news of answers to prayers. Expect positive visitations. Expect strange callers with good news. Expect a great turnaround. Happy 42nd week!

The Mystery of the 41st Week

0

Welcome to the 41st week of the year. Week 41 is the sixth week in the sixth 49 days of the year. It is a core sixth-season week in the year. It covers days 281 – 287 (October 8-14 in a clear year; and October 7-13 in a leap year). The Bible patterns for understanding the mystery of the 41st week are

The sixth day of creation narrative

The 41st book of the Bible

The 41st chapters of the Bible

The sixth 3 chapters (16-18) of the 6th book of the Bible.

Week 41 is a sixth-day-of-creation-week. On the sixth day, God made man in His image and after His likeness; and gave him authority and power to rule, subdue, and dominate the rest of God’s living creatures. The sixth season is for arresting and crushing rebellion. It is a season to rule and exercise dominion. It is a season of divine invasion. The sixth season is the ruler’s season. It is a season to either live and prosper through Divine Counsel or fail and perish through rejection of Counsel. It is a season to exalt, and deliver promises to, God’s humble agents. The 41st is a season of exalting faith in God above reasoning and rationalization. It is a season of operating with divine wisdom. The sixth book and chapters of the Bible reveal that Week 41 is a season of running with divine counsel. It is a week to wage war with counsel.

Week 41 is a Book-of-Mark week. The Gospel according to Mark is the 41st book of the Bible. This book is a book of rapid results and ‘immediate effect’. Mark gave no room to the genealogy and birth of Jesus or John the Baptist. In the book, Jesus is on the move and in a hurry to bring good news. In the entire New Testament, the word ‘immediately’ is used in 101 verses; but in Mark alone, it is used in 36 verses. That is about than 36%. In that book, Jesus took on the challenge of the hour; operated as one having authority; doing what the Pharisees and scribes could not do – teaching, casting out demons and healing the sick. Mark’s gospel is a book of ‘can’ and ‘cannot’. In the first chapter, a leper said to Jesus, “You can make me clean”. In the fifth chapter, the woman with the issue of blood said, “If I can touch…I shall be made whole”. In the same chapter, Jesus delivered a demon-possessed man that could not be bound or tamed with fetters. In the ninth chapter, a man whose son was demon-possessed said to Jesus, “If you can do something, please, help me”. In the same chapter, Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible….” The 41st season is a time to stand up to great challenges.

The 41st week is a week of good news. The Gospel according to Mark opened with “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God”. In this book, Jesus is the agent of God (the man in God’s image and likeness) exercising rule – casting demons out, cleansing lepers, and performing all kinds of cure. It was a season of good news to the sick and the sinful. This is a week of pressures and pressing desperately for answers. The multitudes that ran after Jesus in this book were looking for answers. Men are promoted, especially, through problem-solving in the 41st season. It is also a week to triumph over evil spirits and their activities by the Spirit of God. The word ‘demon’ is used in 75 verses in the entire New Testament; but is used in 16 verses in Mark alone. That is more than 20%. It is a week to tame the Leviathan. There is more mention of ‘demon’ and ‘unclean spirit’ in the book of Mark than in the other gospel accounts. Jesus cast out the evil spirits because He was filled with the Spirit of God. Problem solvers of the 41st season need the Spirit of God. The appearance of Jesus, in the book of Mark is visitation from the Lord. This is a week of good news to all. In the last chapter of the 41st book, Jesus commanded His disciples to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). May this week be “the beginning of the good news” for you. Week 41 is a season of triumphing over demons and bring help to men.

Week 41 is a 41-Chapters-of-the-Bible week. The 41st season is a season of tough challenges that promote those who deliver answers. It is a season of “Can you do it?” In Genesis 41, Joseph was taken in to interpret Pharaoh’s dream which the astrologers could not. Pharaoh said to him, “… I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it.” Joseph gave the credit to God: Genesis 41:16 says, “So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying,“ It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.” That great challenge became the greatest opportunity of his life. Joseph exalted God, interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and gave him counsel. He was made the second ruler in all Egypt. The 41st season is the ruler’s season. Genesis 41:39-41 says, “Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” Joseph solved the problem of Pharaoh by the Spirit of God; and was promoted.

In Job 41, the Leviathan is called “king over all the children of pride.” The Leviathan is a tough challenge. Job 41 opens with a question: “Can you draw out Leviathan with a hook, Or snare his tongue with a line which you lower? Can you put a reed through his nose, Or pierce his jaw with a hook?” Handling the Leviathan is a tough challenge. The 41st season is a season of visitation on those who meet certain standards or criteria. In Psalm 41, a door of blessing and preservation is opened to the one who takes the challenge to reach out to the poor. Psalm 41:1-3 says, “Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed”. Will you be the one that considers the poor?

Isaiah 41 is a challenge from the Lord to anyone or idol that thinks he is a match to Him to come up.  Isaiah 41:1-4 says, “Keep silence before Me, O coastlands, And let the people renew their strength! Let them come near, then let them speak; Let us come near together for judgment. [2] “Who raised up one from the east? Who in righteousness called him to His feet? Who gave the nations before him, And made him rule over kings? Who gave them as the dust to his sword, As driven stubble to his bow? [3] Who pursued them, and passed safely By the way that he had not gone with his feet? [4] Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ‘I, the LORD, am the first; And with the last I am He.”

In Jeremiah 41, Johanan the son of Kareah subdued Ishmael who had murdered Gedaliah and carried many people. He recovered the people from the hand Ishmael though Ishmael escaped. The 41st week is the week of ‘able men’ and ‘able women’. The 41st season is a season of measurement and assessment; to ensure conformity to desired standards; to correct things that are out of order, and crush rebellion against Divine Order. Ezekiel 41 is the Prophet’s vision of measurement of the temple. In measurements, the measuring rule, line, or taper, rules. There’s always a standard for measurements. Where there is measurements, you cannot do things anyhow you want. Measurements tell you what to do. So, an instruments of measurement is a ruler. It qualifies or disqualifies. It takes in or throws out. This is a season when men are weighed – for who they are; and for what they can do.

Week 41 is a Joshua 19-21 week. The sixth three chapters of the sixth book of the Bible is applicable to the sixth week in the sixth 49 days of the year. In Joshua 16-18, Ephraim, West Manasseh, and Benjamin, took their inheritance. The whole land had been subdued but the people were hesitant to possess their inheritance. Manasseh could not drive out the people in the Land. They later subjected them to forced labor. This week, can you stand to take what belongs to you?

The 41st and Modern history

How has the mystery of the 41st played out in modern history? The United States did not enter WW2 until 1941 when she was challenged by the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor. Participating in the war helped the US stand out, bigger, as a World Power. George H. W. Bush was the 41st president of the United States. In his season, Iraq, under Saddam Hussein, annexed the oil-rich Kuwait. The Gulf War erupted. Bush ’41 and the American forces subdued Saddam Husseini and Iraq; and delivered Kuwait from annexation. He also ordered the invasion of Panama and deposed the dictatorial Manuel Noriega (though not without reactions from the international community). His season was a season of good news in different ways. His administration saw the collapse of the Soviet Union and of the Berlin Wall expressing the re-unification of Germany. The 41st season is a time to witness the collapse of the works of the enemy. In 2001, the 41st year of Nigeria, the city of Jos was overtaken by demons in the September 7-17 ethno-religious riots that killed over 1000, wounded 5000, and displaced 50, 000 people; besides vehicles, houses, and church buildings and mosques that were destroyed.

Will you stand to the challenge of this week? The 41st season is a time to stand up to great challenges. It’s your time to rule. Can you do it? Can you interpret the dream? Can you tackle the leviathan? Can you cast out the demon? Yes, you can! May this week open with good news for you! May the task of this week end with good news for you. Happy 41st week!!!
