Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY

Today Is

  1. 1. June 28 (in a Clear year); June 27 (in a Leap year).

2. The fourth day of the 26th Week (June 25 –July 1 in a Clear year/ June 24 – 30 in a Leap year).

3. The 32nd day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15 in a clear year/ May 27 – July 14 in a leap year).

4. The 179th day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 179

5. A fourth-season day because it is the fourth day of the 26th week of the year.

SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 179th day are

1. The fourth day of creation narrative.(Genesis 1:14-19)

2. The fourth book of the Bible (Numbers)

3. The fourth chapters of the Bible.

4. Ezekiel 22-28 (the fourth 7 chapters of the 26th book of the Bible.

5. The 32nd book of the Bible (Jonah) and the 32nd chapters of the Bible.

6. The last 9 books of the Old Testament (Obadiah – Malachi).

Day 179 is a fourth day of creation season. God made the luminaries (the sun, moon, and stars) on the fourth day of creation. He made them to do the following:

1. To divide the day from the night; and to divide the light from the darkness.

2. To be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;

3. To be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”;

4. To rule over the day and over the night,

The fourth represents judgment, enlightenment, government, and organization. Day 179 is a day of putting things in order. It is a day of judgment, enlightenment, government and organization. This is a day and season when all men and things are to come (or be brought) under the rule of heaven. Rebellion is not allowed or tolerated in this season.

Day 179 is book of Jonah day. It is a book of Jonah season in the fourth 7 weeks of the year.. In the 32nd book of the Bible, Jonah went the opposite direction from God’s. Today, be sure to follow God’s direction; and to go in the direction of His will. Be where He wants you to be; doing what He wants you to do. On this day, also, God’s people are to decree light against darkness. This means both the overturning of evil and wicked schemes in and around me, and the overthrow of the wicked in any part of the earth – wherever the luminaries have influence. Jonah was sent to go and warn the wicked in Nineveh of God’s judgment. He objected and went a different until compelled by Heaven’s invisible hands. He was cooperating with darkness against the Light. That is the reason his plans and efforts failed. Day 179 is a season of light rising against darkness – the kingdom of God rising against the kingdom of darkness.

Day 179 is Ezekiel 22-28 day. The fourth seven chapters of the 26th book of the Bible is applicable to the fourth day of the 26th week. In the fourth seven chapters of Ezekiel, the prophet prophesied judgment against Israel; but from the 25th (fourth of the fourth-seven), God’s focus shifts from Israel and Jerusalem to the nations – Ammon, Moab, Edom, Philistia, and Tyre. God has one sun and one moon for all the earth. Ezekiel became a prophet to the nations in the fourth seven chapters of his book.

Day 179 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the 24th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fourth day of the week is the day closing the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the last nine books of the Old Testament. Day 179 is the bridge-day leading to the New Testament side of the 26th week. The books of the minor prophets are part of the last 9 books of the O.T. They are about judgment and promises of restoration. Day 179 is the day of the dominion of the Voice of God in the nations.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, raise your voice against wickedness and oppression wherever it is found. Prophesy! Prophesy!! Prophesy!!! Today, also pray to be more sensitive in the spirit; to pick up necessary signals that would help you triumph over the enemy and keep darkness away. Today, pray to be delivered from falling into temptation. Pray to be preoccupied with the person of God; and to be focused on His mandate and His revealed purpose for your life. Be careful to weigh every decision in light of God’s purpose for your life; and God’s purpose for the time. Today, proclaim an end to woes and declare the dawn of a new day. Happy 179th day!

Day 178: The Mystery of June 27

Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY

Today Is

  1. 1. June 27 (in a Clear year); June 26 (in a Leap year).

2. The third day of the 26th Week (June 25 –July 1 in a Clear year/ June 24 – 30 in a Leap year).

3. The 31st day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15 in a clear year/May 27 – July 14 in a leap year).

4. The 178th day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 178

5. A third-season day because it is the third day of the 26th week of the year.

SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 178th day are

1. The third day of creation narrative.

2. The third book of the Bible (Leviticus)

3. The third chapters of the Bible.

4. Ezekiel 15-21 (the third 7 chapters of the 26th book of the Bible.

5. The 31st book of the Bible (Obadiah) and the 31st chapters of the Bible.

6. The third 10 books of the Bible and the Old Testament (Ecclesiastes – Amos).

Day 178 is a third day of creation day. season day. On the third day of creation, God overthrew the waters over dry ground to cause manifestation of the earth and vegetation. God fought the final battle against the waters (and for the redemption of space) on the third day. Day 178 is a game-changing day! The third season is when the action starts and the game changes. Narratives in the third chapters of the Bible confirm this. The third chapter of most books of the Bible is where the story that ends the book begins. The direction of the week is determined on the third day. It is a day of deliverance, manifestation, and responsible productivity. It is a season when hidden people and things are unveiled exposed. The third season is a season of overthrows. In the third season, God causes the overthrow of things hindering the manifestation of His purposes on earth – in any part of it. That purpose may be blessing or cursing. In the third season, God may overthrow evil or the ungodly and wicked who are a hindrance to His people (Acts 3). He may also overthrow ‘the righteous’ who have become a hindrance to His will because they are no longer in alignment. (Genesis 3) This is a day of critical (strategic) heavenly visitations, directions and decisions.

Day 178 is Ezekiel 15-21 day. The third seven chapters of the 26th book of the Bible is applicable to the third day of the 26th week. Ezekiel is the 26th book of the Bible; and in the third seven chapters, God vowed the overthrow of Israel and Jerusalem because of their sins. In the 15th chapter, God said He would give Jerusalem over to fire as the useless wood of the vine. In chapter 16, God spoke of His gracious love for Jerusalem, and how she had polluted and debased herself by her harlotry with idols she gained nothing from; and became worse than Sodom and Samaria. She would be judged but God would remember His covenant, be gracious to her, and have mercy on her. In the 17th chapter, God condemns the unfaithfulness of the king of Judah to Babylon in his bid to dissent and seek help from Egypt against Babylon. God said it would not prosper. He had given power to Babylon and placed Judah to be under Babylon. At the fullness of time, He would bring down Babylon and exalt His people. In the 18th chapter, God said the sinner would die for his sins; and that children would no longer perish for the sins of their fathers if they do what is right before God. The 19th chapter is a lamentations for the fall of Jerusalem. In the 20th chapter, God refused to be inquired of by Israel and commanded Ezekiel to judge them. Israel had severally  broken God’s covenant throughout their journey with God and each time God was gracious to them, forgave them and moved on with him. God threatened judgment and promised restoration at the same time. in the 21st chapter, God commanded Ezekiel to prophesy the destruction of the sword against Israel. He was commanded to prophesy the same thing against the Ammonites. The third seven chapters of the 26th book reveal that Day 178 is a day of overthrows. The third day is when overthrow is fulfilled and accomplished.

Day 178 is a 31st book of the Bible day! It is also a 31st chapters of the Bible day. The 31st book and chapters of the Bible reveal that the 31st is when the (prevailing) old ends and the new begins. The one-chapter book of Obadiah speaks of the sons of Jacob experiencing deliverance and possessing their possessions. Jacob ended his sojourn with his uncle in Genesis 31. The 31st chapter of the book of Job ends with “the words of job are ended”. Proverbs, the book of wisdom, ends in the 31st chapter and at the 31st verse. Wisdom is telling us that the 31st is an end-point. In Jeremiah 31:31, God spoke of the end of the Old Covenant and the beginning of the New Covenant.

Day 178 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the 26th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The third day of the week is the third day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the third 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the third 10 books of the Bible, God sent His prophets to speak to the people. They confronted the people, warned them against judgment, comforted the faithful, and brought judgment on the arrogant. The third day is for the overthrow of the rebellious and establishment of the humble and just. How you fare in this season depends on your attitude and response to the word of God.

DECREE AND DECLARE : God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, be ready to hear His voice and respond by faith. Expect breakthrough. Be willing to sacrifice. Walk by faith! This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the week. This is a day of unveiling. It is a day of answers to prayers. Today, pray for the overthrow of dysfunctional systems in the nations and in the church. Pray that God will make a way for the manifestation of hidden platforms and producers. Pray also that the forgotten functional people and things be remembered, recognized, and restored. Today, remember that when God delivers and manifests, it is for service and production. Do not consume His mercy on your lust. On this third day of the week, the oppressor will go down and the humble shall be delivered. Happy 178th day.

On this day in 2021, IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, was extradited to Nigeria from Kenya where he was arrested. He was first arrested in 2015, granted bail in 2017, and thereafter disappeared to Israel and UK. The 31st season is an end-point and a new beginning.

Day 177: The Mystery of June 26

0

Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY

Today Is

  1. 1. June 26 (in a Clear year); June 25 (in a Leap year).

2. The second day of the 26th Week (June 25 –July 1 in a Clear year/ June 24 – 30 in a Leap year).

3. The 30th day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15 in a clear year).

4. The 177th day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 177

5. A second-season day because it is the second day of the 26th week of the year.

SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 177th day are

1. The second day of creation narrative.

2. The second book of the Bible (Exodus)

3. The second chapters of the Bible.

4. Ezekiel 8-14 (the second 7 chapters of the 26th book of the Bible.

5. The 30th book (Amos) and 30th chapters of the Bible.

6. The second 10 books of the Bible and the Old Testament (1 Kings – Proverbs).

Day 177 is a Second Day of Creation day. On the second day of creation, God released the firmament to fight against the bloc of waters that seized every space. Genesis 1:6-8 says, “Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” [7] Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. [8] And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day”  God created the firmament to thwart the monopoly of the waters and make space for other things to exist. The firmament made possible breathing space and dwelling space. The second season like Day 177 is a season of warfare against prevailing and dominating obstacles.

Day 177 is Ezekiel 8-14 day. In the second seven chapters of Ezekiel (8-14), the prophet was taken to the temple, in a vision, and shown the things that hindered the presence in the temple. He was told to prophesy against the idol worshippers in the temple. As he began to prophesy, deaths occurred. Then God promised restoration. The prophet was told to dramatize the certain captivity of Judah. He made a decree against false divination. He took up war against the false prophets and hypocritical elders. The second day of the week is a season of battles against obstacles, road blocks, and oppressive hindrances and monopolies. In the 26th book of the Bible, the prophetic word is the monopoly-breaker.

Day 177 is a Book of Amos day in the fourth 49 days. Amos is the 30th book of the Bible and is applicable to the 30th day in the fourth seven weeks of the year. The 30th chapters of the Bible are also applicable to this day. The 30th book and 30th chapters of the Bible reveal that God makes a way where there is no way. God often makes a way by dismantling obstacles and judging evil. Amos prophesied judgment against those who stood on God’s way. Rachel overcame barrenness in Genesis 30. Proverbs 30 is about how weak creatures find their way into certain places. God is the way-maker in the 30th season.

Day 177 is First Kings – Proverbs Day in the 26th week. The second day of the week is the second day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the second 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the second 10 books of the Bible, God wanted the king’s of Israel to trust Him and lead the nation in the same direction. Beginning with Solomon, the kings of Israel began to patronize Idols. Idol worship became official in the northern kingdom following the split. Judah followed. Prophets rose in this season to call the nation back to God. Eventually, the two kingdom went into captivity – the north fell to Assyria ‘s; and the south to the Babylonians. The Jews did return from captivity after 70 years. The last two books in this section of the Bible (Psalms and Proverbs) show that loss of faith in God is prelude to the loss of all things; but faith in God is the secret of power and strength. The faithful will triumph no matter what happens.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, declare that your faith will not fail; and that the faithful will triumph. Decree the downfall of those who disregard God and trust in themselves or idols, Today, prophesy against evil controlling powers and overthrow them by the word of the Lord. Mercy makes a way where there is no way. Today is a day of divine intervention and mercy. Today, release the word of the Lord against oppressive mountains in your life and in your world. Raise a cry to God against the proud and wicked in the land. Today, trust God to make a way where there is no way. Proclaim His word, Pray to Him. Praise Him! Happy 177th day.

Day 176: The Mystery of June 25

0

Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY

Today Is

  1. 1. June 25 (in a Clear year); June 24 (in a Leap year).

2. The first day of the 26th Week (June 25 –July 1 in a Clear year/ June 24 – 30 in a Leap year).

3. The 29th day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15).

4. The 176th day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 176

5. A first-season day because it is the first day of the 26th week of the year.

SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 176th day are

1. The first day of creation narrative.

2. The first book of the Bible (Genesis)

3. The first chapters of the Bible.

4. Ezekiel 1-7 (the first 7 chapters of the 26th book of the Bible.

5. The 29th book (Joel) and 29th chapters of the Bible.

6. The first 10 books of the Bible and the Old Testament (Genesis – 2 Samuel).

Day 176 is a first day of creation day in the 26th week. It is a first season day in a fifth season week. God created light on the first day. Light reveals, enlightens, and guides. Light is truth. God is Light. God overthrew darkness with light on the first day of creation. In the first season, God and his word must have the preeminence. The first day of a fifth season week should be a season of encounter with the God that reveals, enlightens, guides, blesses, revives, restores, liberates, and gives increase; or with the God who curses, kills, destroys, or judges. It is a day to honor the God who gives life and blessing and sustenance. On the fifth day of creation, God began to create flesh – moving living creatures. So, the fifth season is for life and freedom. He made those fifth-day creatures in abundance. So, the fifth season is a season of material abundance as opposed to scarcity. On the fifth day, God also blessed creation for the first time. He blessed them with fruitfulness and multiplication. So the fifth season is a season of blessings of fruitfulness, multiplication, and increase. Day 176 is a day of judgment against darkness.

Day 176 is Ezekiel 1-7 season. The first seven chapters of the 26th book of the Bible are applicable to the first day of the 26th week. In the first seven chapters of Ezekiel, the prophet encountered the God of Israel in visions; and received the word to prophesy against the land of Israel.

God reveals Himself in the first season as Light; and as Light He goes to war against darkness. As Light, God is first and the first belongs to Him. The first seven chapters of Ezekiel is the Prophet’s vision of the impending overthrow of Jerusalem and Judah. In the first chapter, the prophet saw visions of God. It is through light that we see. We do not see because we have eyes. We see because there is light. In this chapter, Ezekiel had the vision of the four-sided four living creatures and the wheels – all moving by the Spirit of God. In the second chapter, Ezekiel was sent to prophesy to the house of Israel; a stubborn and rebellious people – wether they listen to him or not. God warned the prophet against stubbornness and rebellion. God showed the prophet a scroll written inside and out. On the scroll were written lamentations, mourning, and woe. In the third chapter, the prophet was commanded to eat the scroll. He ate the scroll and it was sweet like honey. God told him to the people the exact words given to him whether the people would listen or not. In the fourth chapter, God commanded Ezekiel to portray the siege of Jerusalem on a tablet of clay; and to lay siege against the city. He was commanded to lie down on one side for 390 days and on the other side 40. He was to bake his bread on cow dung, ration the food he ate and the water he drank to sure what was ahead of those in Jerusalem. Without God, a season of freedom can become a season of restrictions; and a season of abundance can become a season of famine and scarcity. In the fifth chapter, God told told Ezekiel that one third of Jerusalem shall die by the pestilence, another third shall die by sword, and the other third will be scattered among the nations. In the sixth chapter, God commanded Ezekiel to prophesy against the mountains of Israel. He spoke of desolations but promised to leave a remnant who would remember His name in the places they would be scattered. In the seventh chapter, God told Ezekiel to speak of an end, of disaster, desolation, and destruction. This is the climax of the prophecies. It is like the destruction of the earth in the seventh chapter of Genesis.

The first seven chapters of Ezekiel reveal that rebellion against God is costly in a first season like Day 176. In the first season, God reveals Himself as the One who must be obeyed. He did not tolerate disobedience in the first book of the Bible. He will not tolerate it in any first season. Today, put God First and Honor His Voice. Do not rebel against Him.

Day 176 is a Book of Joel day in the 4th seven weeks of the year. Joel is the 29th book of the Bible and is applicable to the 29th day in the fourth 49 days. The 29th season is a season of fruitfulness but the enemy would want it to be a season of disasters. In the 29th book of the Bible, Joel calls the people to return to God in repentance and in response to misfortunes in the land. Joel also speaks of the blessings of the latter day for those who turn to God. . This is a day to seek alignment with God. That is the way to move from destruction to restoration.

Day 176 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 26th week. The first day of the week is the beginning of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the first 10 books of the Bible, God revealed Himself as Creator and Caretaker. He chose those who aligned with His purpose for blessings; and reserved judgment for those who disregard Him. The 10 books began with the creation and fall of the man in the image and likeness of God; and ended with the man after God’s heart sitting on the throne of God’s choice nation. This is a day of aligning with God.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy. !Happy 176th day!

Day 175: The Mystery of June 24

0

Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY

Today Is

  1. 1. June 24 (in a Clear year); June 23 (in a Leap year).

2. The seventh day of the 25th Week (June 18 –24 in a Clear year/ June 17 – 23 in a Leap year).

3. The 28th day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15).

4. The 175th day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 175

5. A seventh-season day because it is the seventh and last day of the 25th week of the year.

SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 175th day are

1. The seventh day of creation narrative.

2. The seventh book of the Bible (Judges)

3. The seventh chapters of the Bible.

4. The seventh 22 verses of the book of Lamentations (Lamentations 5:1-22)..

5. The 28th book (Hosea) and 28th chapters of the Bible.

6. The third and last 9 books of the New Testament (Hebrews – Revelation).

Day 175 is a seventh day of creation day in the 25th week. Day 175 is a seventh season day. On the seventh day of creation, God put a stop to the work of creation. He did not create any thing on that day.

1. He ended His work on that day. So, He wants your toil and struggles to end in the seventh season. The enemy wants struggles to continue in this season. The seventh day is when the agenda of the week is brought to a close. The seventh season is when whatever needs to happen happens. The walls of Jericho collapsed on the seventh day after it was compassed about the seventh time on that day. Naaman was healed of leprosy after he washed in Jordan the seventh time. Jesus chose to end afflictions on the Sabbath – the seventh day.

2. He rested on the seventh day. He wants this season to be a season of ushering His people into rest. The enemy wants the season to be a season of restlessness.

3. He blessed the day because He rested on it. This is the only blessed day in the seven days of creation. God wants this season to be a season of blessings and not curses.

4. He sanctified the day to Himself. The seventh season is holy to God. It is the season of His pleasures. This is the most critical of all the demands of the season. It is not a season for pursuing man’s pleasure. It is a season for pursuing God’s pleasure. If men respect God’s wishes in the seventh season, He makes it the end of their toils, and a blessed season of rest.

Day 175 is a Lamentations 5:1-22 season. The seventh 22 verses of the 25th book of the Bible are applicable to the seventh day of the 25th week of the year. In this section of the book, the author puts the condition of Judah before the Lord, acknowledged their sins, and prayed for restoration. Lamentations 5:1-22 says, “Remember, O LORD, what has come upon us; Look, and behold our reproach! [2] Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens, And our houses to foreigners. [3] We have become orphans and waifs, Our mothers are like widows. [4] We pay for the water we drink, And our wood comes at a price. [5] They pursue at our heels; We labor and have no rest. [6] We have given our hand to the Egyptians And the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread. [7] Our fathers sinned and are no more, But we bear their iniquities. [8] Servants rule over us; There is none to deliver us from their hand. [9] We get our bread at the risk of our lives, Because of the sword in the wilderness. [10] Our skin is hot as an oven, Because of the fever of famine. [11] They ravished the women in Zion, The maidens in the cities of Judah. [12] Princes were hung up by their hands, And elders were not respected. [13] Young men ground at the millstones; Boys staggered under loads of wood. [14] The elders have ceased gathering at the gate, And the young men from their music. [15] The joy of our heart has ceased; Our dance has turned into mourning. [16] The crown has fallen from our head. Woe to us, for we have sinned! [17] Because of this our heart is faint; Because of these things our eyes grow dim; [18] Because of Mount Zion which is desolate, With foxes walking about on it. [19] You, O LORD, remain forever; Your throne from generation to generation. [20] Why do You forget us forever, And forsake us for so long a time? [21] Turn us back to You, O LORD, and we will be restored; Renew our days as of old, [22] Unless You have utterly rejected us, And are very angry with us!”

If the 25th week is a week of judgments, the seventh day of the week is the day to execute the judgments of the week – positively or negatively. The seventh day is for the end of the matter.

Isaiah 25 expresses the seventh day – for the wicked and the righteous.

A. JUDGMENT ON THE WICKED

Isaiah 25:1-5,10-12 says, “O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. [2] For You have made a city a ruin, A fortified city a ruin, A palace of foreigners to be a city no more; It will never be rebuilt. [3] Therefore the strong people will glorify You; The city of the terrible nations will fear You. [4] For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. [5] You will reduce the noise of aliens, As heat in a dry place; As heat in the shadow of a cloud, The song of the terrible ones will be diminished. [10] For on this mountain the hand of the LORD will rest, And Moab shall be trampled down under Him, As straw is trampled down for the refuse heap. [11] And He will spread out His hands in their midst As a swimmer reaches out to swim, And He will bring down their pride Together with the trickery of their hands. [12] The fortress of the high fort of your walls He will bring down, lay low, And bring to the ground, down to the dust”.

JUDGMENT IN FAVOR OF THE RIGHTEOUS

Isaiah 25:6-9: “And in this mountain The LORD of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. [7] And He will destroy on this mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. [8] He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken. [9] And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.”

Day 175 is a book of Hosea day in the fourth 49 days of the year. Hosea is the 28th book of the Bible and is applicable to the the 28th day in the fourth 49 days of the year. In the 28th book of the Bible, God instructed Prophet Hosea to take marry a harlot and raise children by her. He did but the woman was not faithful to him; She became a great illustration to him of Israel’s unfaithfulness to God; while he illustrated God’s unconditional love to Israel. This is a day of grace. Mercy will triumph over judgment today.

Day 175 is Hebrews – Revelation day in the 25th week. Going through every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day on the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third 9 books of the New Testament. The last 9 books of the New Testament are books of evaluation. They are books of correction, recovery, and restoration. This last day of the 25th week is a day of reckoning, recovery, and restoration.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree rest and an end to struggles. Today, bring the condition of your family, community, and nation before God and pray Him to turn things around. Today, call to the Lord for mercy and deliverance. Let this day perfect the work of the week. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel.

Happy 175th day!

Day 174: The Mystery of June 23

0

Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY

Today Is

  1. 1. June 23 (in a Clear year); June 22 (in a Leap year).

2. The sixth day of the 25th Week (June 18 –24 in a Clear year/ June 17 – 23 in a Leap year).

3. The 27th day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15).

4. The 174th day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 174

5. A sixth-season day because it is the sixth day of the 25th week of the year.

SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 174th day are

1. The sixth day of creation narrative.

2. The sixth book of the Bible (Joshua)

3. The sixth chapters of the Bible.

4. The sixth 22 verses of the book of Lamentations (Lamentations 4:1-22)..

5. The 27th book (Daniel) and 27th chapters of the Bible.

6. The second 9 books of the New Testament (Ephesians – Philemon).

Day 174 is a sixth day of creation day-in the 25th week. On the sixth day of creation, God did the following:

1. He made land animals.

2. He made man in His image and after His likeness.

3. He blessed man with fruitfulness and multiplication

4. He mandated man to rule and have dominion.

5. He spoke to man concerning food for himself and the animals.

Day 174 is a season of clash between agents of God and agents of Satan; but the agents of God are expected to dominate the agents of Satan. This is a season to subdue and overthrow the enemies of God. In the sixth season, God wants men to enjoy fruitfulness and multiplication while the enemy wants it to be a season of barrenness and decimation. The sixth season is a time to be guided to provisions. It comes with scarcity for those who do not know God. Divine guidance is the secret of success in a sixth season like Day 174. God seeks His image in man in the sixth season. If He does not see His image in man in the sixth season, He reacts against the ungodliness He sees in man.

Day 174 is a Lamentations 4:1-22 season in the 25th week. The sixth 22 verses of the 25th book of the Bible are applicable to the sixth day of the 25th week. This section of the book reveals that in a sixth season like Day 174, God reacts against the loss of His image and likeness in man. In Lamentations 4:1-22, the author acknowledges the trouble they went through was divine reaction to sin and iniquity. This divine reaction caused scarcity of food – making even compassionate mothers cook their children. God forsook His people because of ungodliness. Food is important in sixth seasons. The sixth book and sixth chapters of the Bible bear witness to this. In 2 Kings 6, two women agreed to boil their children and eat.

Day 174 is a book of Daniel day in the fourth seven weeks of the year. As Day174 is the sixth day of the fourth week, Daniel is the sixth of the fourth seven books of the Bible. The book of Daniel represents separation to God. It is about the price and prize of loyalty to God. Taking a stand for God in a polluted world, may lead one into trouble; but Daniel shows that deliverance and promotions are the lot of those who stand out for God. Fear, anxiety, carnality, and compromise, are the enemies of the sixth season. It is a season in which we need courage to stand for God. In the sixth season, success or failure is a product of where a man stands with God and divine instructions.

Standing for God is a requirement in the 25th week; and the sixth day of the week critically demands that. The narrative in Second Chronicles 25 is typical of the sixth season. In the 25th chapter of Second Chronicles, Amaziah was encouraged to stand for God instead of looking for, or leaning on, a fleshly prop.

2 Chronicles 25:6-10 says, “He also hired one hundred thousand mighty men of valor from Israel for one hundred talents of silver. [7] But a man of God came to him, saying, “O king, do not let the army of Israel go with you, for the LORD is not with Israel-not with any of the children of Ephraim. [8] But if you go, be gone! Be strong in battle! Even so, God shall make you fall before the enemy; for God has power to help and to overthrow.” [9] Then Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do about the hundred talents which I have given to the troops of Israel?” And the man of God answered, “The LORD is able to give you much more than this.” [10] So Amaziah discharged the troops that had come to him from Ephraim, to go back home. Therefore their anger was greatly aroused against Judah, and they returned home in great anger.”

Day 174 is Ephesians – Philemon day in the 25th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. In the first four days of the week, you go through the Old Testament side that expresses the 39 books of the Old Testament. In the remaining three days of the week you go through the New Testament side that express the 27 books of the New Testament. The sixth day of the week is the second day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the second 9 books of the New Testament. In the second 9 books of the New Testament, Paul taught and guided churches and disciples. His four pastoral epistles are among the second 9 books of the New Testament. These nine books in the sixth division of the Bible show that the sixth season is a season of prospering through instruction and counsel. This is a day to walk in the counsel of God. This is a day to receive and obey godly instructions.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, the Lord is looking out for men and women who are loyal to Him. Be that person! Declare and demonstrate your loyalty and allegiance to the Lord. Separate yourself to Him by worship and obedience. Today, decree and that there is a man or woman standing faithfully for God where it matters. Decree that the godly will have dominion over the ungodly today. Decree that God’s people shall have the wisdom and counsel of God to execute His will today. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. Today, show that your primary allegiance is to the God of Israel. You are made in the image and likeness of God. This is a day to commemorate and relive the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. Today, make your way back to the Lord. Even if you are not a backslider, you can still get closer to the goal of expressing the Lord – as His image and likeness. Today, stand out for God as His representative and look into your life, and look around, for things and areas that need to be conformed to God’s standards. Today, pray that the kingdom comes, by the word of God, to establish God’s will in your life, family, church, community, nation; and in the nations of the world. Have a happy and tremendously fruitful 174th day!

3. The 26th day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15).

4. The 173rd day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 173

5. A fifth-season day because it is the fifth day of the 25th week of the year.

SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 173rd day are

1. The fifth day of creation narrative.

2. The fifth book of the Bible.

3. The fifth chapters of the Bible.

Day 173 is a fifth day of creation day in the 25th week. What did God do on the fifth day of creation?

a). God began to make flesh-and-blood creatures. This means that God gives attention to the material side of life in the fifth season; so that men will have strength to walk in the spirit. He heals in the fifth season. Peter’s shadow healed the sick in Acts 5. The woman with the issue of blood was healed in Mark 5. Naaman was healed in Second Kings 5.

The fifth season is a season of fasting and denying the flesh. It is not a season to be overcome by the flesh. Read Joshua 5, Second Kings 5, Acts 5, First Corinthians 5, and Galatians 5.

b). God began to create moving creatures – the sea creatures to swim and the birds to fly. The fifth season is a season of freedom of movement. In John 5, Jesus released the impotent man to take up his bed and go home. He gave freedom to the demon-possessed man in Mark 5.

c). God made living creatures in abundance. God delivers from scarcity in fifth seasons. Israel began to eat the fruit of Canaan in Joshua 5. He helped Peter catch fish after a night of failure in Luke 5.

d). God made perceptive creatures that can see, hear, feel, smell, and taste. God gives prophetic perceptive ability in the fifth season. It is a season to be watchful, discerning, and sensitive. Elisha demonstrated prophetic perceptive ability in Second Kings 5 and his servant Gehazi could not escape detection. Spiritual sensitivity is the key to safety in a fifth season Day 173.

e). 0God made voice-sound producing creatures. The fifth season is not a season to keep silent. It is a season to voice prayer, praises, thanksgiving to God. It is a season to verbalize your faith.

Day 173 is a Lamentations 3: 45-66 day in the 25th week. The fifth 22 verses of the book of Lamentations are applicable to the fifth day of the 25 week of the year. This section shows that this is a season and a day to be heard. It is a day to cry to God against pressures and receive answers from God.

Lamentations 3:45-66 says, “You have made us an offscouring and refuse In the midst of the peoples. [46] All our enemies Have opened their mouths against us. [47] Fear and a snare have come upon us, Desolation and destruction. [48] My eyes overflow with rivers of water For the destruction of the daughter of my people. [49] My eyes flow and do not cease, Without interruption, [50] Till the LORD from heaven Looks down and sees. [51] My eyes bring suffering to my soul Because of all the daughters of my city. [52] My enemies without cause Hunted me down like a bird. [53] They silenced my life in the pit And threw stones at me. [54] The waters flowed over my head; I said, “I am cut off!” [55] I called on Your name, O LORD, From the lowest pit. [56] You have heard my voice: “Do not hide Your ear From my sighing, from my cry for help.” [57] You drew near on the day I called on You, And said, “Do not fear!” [58] O Lord, You have pleaded the case for my soul; You have redeemed my life. [59] O LORD, You have seen how I am wronged; Judge my case. [60] You have seen all their vengeance, All their schemes against me. [61] You have heard their reproach, O LORD, All their schemes against me, [62] The lips of my enemies And their whispering against me all the day. [63] Look at their sitting down and their rising up; I am their taunting song. [64] Repay them, O LORD, According to the work of their hands. [65] Give them a veiled heart; Your curse be upon them! [66] In Your anger, Pursue and destroy them From under the heavens of the LORD. Day 173 is a day to raise your voice to God and cry out for intervention.

Day 173 is a book of Ezekiel day in the fourth 49 days of the days of the year. Ezekiel is the book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 26th day in the fourth seven weeks of the year. Ezekiel is a fifth-season book. Prophet Ezekiel was a man of spiritual sight. Much of what is written in the book were visions God gave him. Ezekiel 1:1 says, “Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God”. This 173rd day is a day of life in the spirit. It is a day to live in the spirit and from the spirit.

Day 173 is a Matthew – Galatians in the 25th week. The fifth day of the week is the first day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 9 books of the New Testament. The first 9 books of the New Testament are about the ministry of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Church. It is about prophecies and expectations fulfilled. It is about God’s great intervention and the desire of the ages. It is about grace and mercy. It is about salvation and justification. It is about the love of God in Christ Jesus. It is the beginning od recovery, redemption, and restoration in the week.

DECREE AND DECLARE: At creation, God spoke His will into each day. He made us in His image and likeness; and expects us to release His will into each day. Decree this day that the flesh will not overtake the spirit in your life, family,, organization, and nation. Decree a change in the week and declare that today is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week. . Decree the recovery of the lost, the redemption of the fallen, and the restoration of the ruined. Decree healing, deliverance, and freedom. Today, do not keep silent. Cry out to God against the problems in your life; your would be heard. This is a day to be delivered from anything that obstructs the full expression of life – bondage, sickness, poverty, and death. As a Book-of-Matthew day, decree that Emmanuel (God is with us) takes over. As a New Testament type day, decree that the love of God will overtake human error and failure. Today, submit to the spirit against the flesh. Walk in the spirit and make no room for the flesh. The fifth season is a season of giving spiritual interpretations to earthly manifestations. Today, make it your watchword to walk in the spirit and obey God’s Word. Walking in the spirit is the key to gaining all. Birds (representing the spirit) fly above and eat from the land, the sea, and the air. Today, cry out to God against oppression and for the pains in your life. Speak out also. Trust Him to intervene in your affairs and in the affairs of people around you. Determine to make a next-level move. It’s time to shift base in the spirit! Today, put yourself on the side of blessing by choosing obedience instead of curses by choosing disobedience. Happy 173rd day!

On this day in 2022, the eastern region of Afghanistan was hit by a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that killed more than 1000 people and injured more than 1500. That was destruction in a day of deliverance. It was deadliest earthquake in decades of Afghan history.

Day 172: The Mystery of June 21

Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY

Today Is

  1. 1. June 21 (in a Clear year); June 20 (in a Leap year).

2. The fourth day of the 25th Week (June 18 –24 in a Clear year/ June 17 – 23 in a Leap year).

3. The 25th day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15).

4. The 172nd day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 172

5. A fiurth-season day because it is the fourth day of the 25th week of the year.

FIVE BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 172nd day are

The fourth day of creation narrative.

The fourth book and fourth chapters of the Bible.

The second 22 verses in the 3rd chapter of the 25th book of the Bible.

The 25th book and 25th chapters of the Bible.

The last 9 books of the Old Testament (Obadiah – Malachi).

Day 172 is a fourth-day of creation season. On the fourth day of creation, God made the luminaries: the greater light (sun), the lesser light (moon), and the stars. He made them for four reasons:

To give light on the earth

To rule the day and the night

To divide the darkness and the light

To be for signs and seasons, and for days and years,

Giving light on the earth means holding darkness in check; to work against deception, fear, confusion, stumbling, and unravel puzzles and secrets. Light helps our eyes to see. To rule the day and the night speaks of leadership and organization. To divide the light from the darkness speaks of clarity, distinction, truthfulness. To be for signs and seasons is about giving guidance and direction. In the fourth season, God delivers from deception, fear, and foolish stumbling; He gives help against disorganization. God gives rulers in the fourth season; He gives truth and judgment; and He gives direction through visions, dreams, and revelations.

Day 172 is a Lamentations 3:23-44 season. The fourth 22 verses of the 25th book of the Bible is applicable to the fourth day of the 25th week. This section of of the books speaks of the goodness and faithfulness of God. It does not complain or blame God for the troubles. Here, the people acknowledge their sins and  the mercy of God. Lamentations 3:23-44 says, “They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. [24] “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” [25] The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. [26] It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the LORD. [27] It is good for a man to bear The yoke in his youth. [28] Let him sit alone and keep silent, Because God has laid it on him; [29] Let him put his mouth in the dust- There may yet be hope. [30] Let him give his cheek to the one who strikes him, And be full of reproach. [31] For the Lord will not cast off forever. [32] Though He causes grief, Yet He will show compassion According to the multitude of His mercies. [33] For He does not afflict willingly, Nor grieve the children of men. [34] To crush under one’s feet All the prisoners of the earth, [35] To turn aside the justice due a man Before the face of the Most High, [36] Or subvert a man in his cause- The Lord does not approve. [37] Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, When the Lord has not commanded it? [38] Is it not from the mouth of the Most High That woe and well-being proceed? [39] Why should a living man complain, A man for the punishment of his sins? [40] Let us search out and examine our ways, And turn back to the LORD; [41] Let us lift our hearts and hands To God in heaven. [42] We have transgressed and rebelled; You have not pardoned. [43] You have covered Yourself with anger And pursued us; You have slain and not pitied. [44] You have covered Yourself with a cloud, That prayer should not pass through. Day 172 is for submission to God – even in pains. It is not a day to react; but a day to respond the goodness of God – even in discipline. It is a day to humble ourselves before God.

Day 172 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the 25th week. The fourth day of the week is the last day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the last 9 books of the Old Testament. In the last 9 books of the Old Testament, the (minor) prophets confronted Israel and the nations, called for repentance, and decreed judgment where necessary. The last nine books of the Old Testament is preparatory to the Messiah and the New Testament. They are books of recovery in preparation for restoration. This is the day to prepare the way into the New Testament side of the week. Day 172 is preparation for the new day in the rest of the week.

Day 172 is a book of Lamentations season in the fourth 49 days of the year. The 25th book is the cry of God’s people who came under judgment because of their rebellion against God. It is a book of tears. Today, may the lord deliver us and our world from shedding tears of agony for missing the mark.

Today, decree sensitivity to the sounds from heaven and smooth transition to the New Testament side of the 25th week. Happy 172nd day!

Day 171: The Mystery of June 20

0

Welcome to the 171st day of the year! Day 171 is the third day of the 25th week. It is the third day of the 4th week in the fourth 49 days of the year. Day 171 is June 20 in a clear year; and June 19 in a leap year. The Bible patterns for understanding this 171st day are

The third day of creation narrative.

The third book and third chapters of the Bible.

The third chapter of the 25th book of the Bible.

The 24th book and 24th chapters of the Bible.

Day 171 is a third day of creation season. It is a third-season day. It is the game-changing day in the 25th week. The third is where the foundation of the future is laid. It is from the third point that the direction of the future is determined. God created the earth, the sea, and vegetation on the third day; and they serve the rest of creation. The third is the carrier of the future. Things done on this day will affect, change, or determine the course of the future. It is a destiny-sealing day in the 25th week. It is a day of great rising and great falling.

Day 171 is a book of Jeremiah season. Day 171 is the 24th day in the fourth 49 days of the year. The 24th book of the Bible is applicable to this day. The destinies of people and nations were determined in this book. Jeremiah moved from being a priest to becoming a prophet to nations. The destinies of kings and nations were also sealed in this book. The kingdom of Judah fell to the Babylonians in this book. Jeremiah was God’s battle axe in this season. In Jeremiah 1:10, God said to him, “See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”. This is a book of Jeremiah day. It is a day to root out and  pull down; it is a day to destroy and throw down; it is a day to build and plant.

Day 171 is a Lamentations 3:1-22 season. The book of Lamentations has five chapters and 154 (22 x 7) verses. The entire 25th week is a has Guiding Light in the 25th book of the Bible. It is a season to take God’s word seriously and not trivialize it. Every day of the week has Guiding Light in 22 verses of the book. This third day of the week has Guiding Light in the third 22 verses of the book of Lamentations. In this section, the prophet turns attention to himself and personalizes the suffering. It shows that this day is a day of divine reaction against His displeasures. Lamentations 3:1-22 says, I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of His wrath. [2] He has led me and made me walk In darkness and not in light. [3] Surely He has turned His hand against me Time and time again throughout the day. [4] He has aged my flesh and my skin, And broken my bones. [5] He has besieged me And surrounded me with bitterness and woe. [6] He has set me in dark places Like the dead of long ago. [7] He has hedged me in so that I cannot get out; He has made my chain heavy. [8] Even when I cry and shout, He shuts out my prayer. [9] He has blocked my ways with hewn stone; He has made my paths crooked. [10] He has been to me a bear lying in wait, Like a lion in ambush. [11] He has turned aside my ways and torn me in pieces; He has made me desolate. [12] He has bent His bow And set me up as a target for the arrow. [13] He has caused the arrows of His quiver To pierce my loins. [14] I have become the ridicule of all my people- Their taunting song all the day. [15] He has filled me with bitterness, He has made me drink wormwood. [16] He has also broken my teeth with gravel, And covered me with ashes. [17] You have moved my soul far from peace; I have forgotten prosperity. [18] And I said, “My strength and my hope Have perished from the LORD.” [19] Remember my affliction and roaming, The wormwood and the gall. [20] My soul still remembers And sinks within me. [21] This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. [22] Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not”.

The Almighty deals ruthlessly with His enemies in the third season. It is only by the mercy of God that the unworthy is spared in the third season. The Lord make it a day of planting and building you on a ground.

Day 171 is Ecclesiastes  – Amos Day in the 25th week.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. This is a day of manifestation. Do not be afraid to take a stand for the Lord. It is a season to come out of hiding and obscurity. It is a day to overthrow oppression and the oppressor. It is a day to establish the humble. Happy 171st day!

BORN ON THIS DAY? You were born in this season for a reason. The day you were says a lot about who you are and why you exist. You were born on this third day of the 25th week because you are a game-changer. The third day of the week is a game-changing day. You were born to fight death and dryness. You were born to make the dry productive and fruitful. You were born to be a reliable sacrificial platform. You are pro-life. Since you were born to work against deàthvand dryness, those two will be your greatest enemies. The evil one will fight to make you a victim of death and distress. The kingdom of darkness will fight you with death and dryness. If you align with God and stay responsive to His Voice, you will never become a victim of death and dryness.

Day 160: The Mystery of June 9

0

Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY

Today Is

  1. 1. June 9 (in a Clear year); June 8 (in a Leap year).

2. The sixth day of the 23rd Week (June 4 –10 in a Clear year/ June 3 – 10 in a Leap year).

3. The 13th day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15).

4. The 160th day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 160

5. A sixth-season day because it is the sixth day of the 23rd week of the year.

FOUR BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

There are four basic biblical patterns for this day:

1. The sixth day of creation (Genesis 1: 24-31)

2. Isaiah 49-57

3. The 13th book of the Bible (First Chronicles)

4. The second 9 books of the New Testament.

Day 160 is a sixth day of creation day. Day 160 is a sixth-season day. On the sixth day of creation, God made man in His image and likeness after He created the land animals. No other creature was made in the image and likeness of God. This made man different. He gave man authority to rule and dominate the creatures of the fifth day, and the other creatures of the sixth day. God gave vegetation to man and animals for food. Day 160 is the day of God’s image, likeness, and representative.

Day 160 is Isaiah 49-57 day in the 23rd week of the year. The 9 chapters in the sixth division of the 23rd book of the Bible are applicable to the sixth day of the 23rd week. The sixth division cheaters are chapters of comfort, consolation, and hope. They are full of revelation, direction, and instruction. They reveal that this is a day of transformation through divine direction.

Day 160 is Ephesians – Philemon day in 23rd week of the year. Like a journey through the Bible, every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week is the Old Testament side. The remaining three days of the week is the New Testament side. The second nine books of the New Testament are applicable to the second day on the New Testament side of the week. The 9 books (Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, First Thessalonians, Second Thessalonians, First Timothy, Second Timothy, Titus, and Philemon). Those 9 books are books of instructions. They are mentoring epistles. The pastoral epistles of Paul are in this group. Day 160 is a day to win through instruction. It is a day to wage and win war through counsel.

Day 160 is a 13th chapters of the Bible day. On this day in 2018, the 13th day in the fourth 49 days of the year, I took time to reflect on taking a stand in life – for what you know and believe – ‘standing up for something’ as opposed to indifference or ‘sitting on the fence’ on issues that matter. This also seems to be what ‘the 13th’ is for. I found it’s about standing up and standing out – especially for what is right! It’s not just about being different; but more about being different for the right thing – the God-thing. This is true in the Bible as in contemporary history.

Here’s what I found out about ‘the 13th’ from the Bible: In Genesis 13, Lot separated from Abraham. Abraham took a stand for peace and Lot took a stand for the convenience of Sodom. In Exodus 13, Israel separated from, and moved out of, Egypt. They took an irreversible stand for freedom. In Numbers 13, Joshua and Caleb separated themselves from those who spoke evil of the Promised Land they claimed to love and wanted to live in. In Judges 13, Samson, a Nazirite, separated from his mother’s womb, was born. He was born to be different and to take a stand against the oppression of Israel by the Philistines. He died for refusing to stand out. In First Samuel 13, Saul began to lose ground and the throne for refusing to separate himself to the word of the Lord. He could not stand for God because of pressure from the people. In Second Samuel 13, Absalom fled, and separated from, his father’s house. He chose vengeance and exile above love and forgiveness. In First Kings 13, a man of God died for refusing to separate himself from an ‘old prophet’ who tempted him to reject the word of the Lord. In Second Kings 13, two kings of Israel lost out for refusing to separate from the idolatrous ways of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat. In the same chapter, a dead man returned to life, and was separated from the dead, when his body touched the bones of a separated man, Elisha. The 13th book of the Bible, First Chronicles, records the separation of humanity, Israel especially, into families. The focus is the family of David. In Second Chronicles 13, Abijah, the king of Judah confronted and defeated Jeroboam, king of Israel, who had separated from the House of David. In the 13th season, ‘the separated’ should have power over ‘the unseparated’. Nehemiah 13 is a call to Jewish returnees to separate themselves from foreigners. Matthew 13 is separated to ‘separation-parables’ of the kingdom. Mark 13 is about God gathering His elect “from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven”. Luke 13 is about “repent or perish”. It is about separating from the crowd to follow ‘the narrow way’. In John 13, the betrayer stood out among the twelve disciples; and Jesus told His disciples that LOVE would distinguish them as His disciples. In Acts 13, the Holy Spirit demanded the separation of Paul and Barnabas to their calling and purpose. ‘Saul of Tarsus’ became ‘Paul’ in this chapter also. In Romans 13 and First Corinthians 13, Paul took a stand for LOVE as the greatest. In Revelation 13, God’s people are warned to stand separate, and stay away, from the Anti-Christ’s ‘mark of the Beast’.

Here’s what contemporary history shows about ‘the 13th’: In the 13th century, Stephen Langton, Archbishop of Canterbury, divided and assigned Bible passages and narratives into chapter-families. The Waldensians became separate from the Catholic Church in the 13th century. They were a pre-Protestant Christian movement that shaped the beliefs of reformers like Bullinger and Calvin. Rhode Island, the 13th state of the United States, has a history and tradition of dissent and independence. “Rhode Island was the first of the thirteen colonies to renounce its allegiance to the British Crown on May 4, 1776. The state boycotted the 1787 convention which drew up the United States Constitution and initially refused to ratify it. It was also the last of the thirteen colonies to ratify the United States Constitution on May 29, 1790”. Roger Williams, founder of the Colony, was a man banished for his Puritanism and unconventional religious beliefs. He was an advocate of separation of church and state; and the abolition of slavery. The 13th president of the United States, Millard Fillmore, was the last president not to be affiliated with either the Democratic or Republican parties. He was the last to be a member of the Whig Party while in the White House. He joined the ‘Know Nothing, American, Party’. He chose ‘the compromise’ instead of taking a definite stand in the slavery controversy. He did not believe in slavery but he could not take a stand for what he believed. On becoming president, when the 12 president died, he separated himself from the policy of President Taylor’s administration that he was part of; and even sacked the Cabinet. In the 13th seven years of the United States, and by the 13th Amendment, President Abraham Lincoln and Congress led the United States to take a clear and definite stand on slavery. The 13th Amendment drew a line between the United States and slavery or the love of slavery. In 2013, the 13th year of the 21st century, the nations of the world came under pressure to take a stand on gender issues. Great western nations and their allies took a stand for same sex marriage and gay relationships. The same year, the US Supreme Court (in United States vs Windsor) struck down the 1996 ‘Defense of Marriage Act’ (DOMA).

This is the 13th day of the fourth 49 days. Seems like a good day to take a stand. This may be a good day to reflect about where you stand on issues that matter to God, your person, and the people around you. This may be a good day to ask if you’re airing out for just causes or just relaxing in a comfortable hide-out. Are you standing and speaking for what is right; are you standing on the popular side, standing with the crowd, for fear of being alone? I think it’s a good day to reflect on where you’re standing; and what you’re standing for. Could this be the day to encourage yourself to stand up (or keep standing up) for principles rather than just preferences and prejudices. I think it might be a good day to also strengthen others who have taken a just stand but seem to be standing alone. Taking a stand for what is just and right is hardly easy. It often means, in some cases, the loss of everything men cling to – from reputation to recognition to relationships and even resources. My heart goes out to you – if for a just cause you stand alone today. Be strong and calm. You’re standing with an invisible (often silent) majority. This is a day to stand with the persecuted and unjustly imprisoned – as Hebrews 13 exhorts. This is a day to stand up for LOVE instead of SELF. You cannot go wrong with love. Standing for love is standing for God and with God.

DECREE AND DECLARE: Job 38 reveals that God places demand on seasons to produce certain results. He made man in His image to do the same in His name. Command this day to separate people and things that should not be together. Command the day to reveal people and put them where they belong. Let all things take their places and positions on earth as it is in heaven. Happy 160th day!
