Day 97: The Mystery of April 7

0

Welcome to the 97th day of the year! The 97th day is the sixth day of the fourteenth week of the year. It is also the 48th day in the second 49 days of the year. It is April 7 in a clear year and April 6 in a leap year. The Bible keys to understanding the 97th day are the sixth day of creation narrative, the 97th psalm, and the sixth division chapters (27-31) of the fourteenth book of the Bible.

Day 97 is a sixth-day-of-creation day. It is a sixth season day. On the sixth day of creation, God made land creatures. He first made the footed and creeping animals. Then He made man in His image and after His likeness. He made man to rule over the land and sea creatures. He mandated man to have dominion, to rule, and to subdue. He gave man and animals vegetation for food. He blessed man with fruitfulness and multiplication. The sixth season is for expressing the Lord and exercising dominion in His name against His enemies. It is a season to rule, subdue, and dominate the rebellious. Day 97 is a day of judgments.

Day 97 is a Psalm 97 day. The 97th psalm asserts the dominion of God in seven declarations. Psalm 97:1-6

1. [1] The LORD reigns; Let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad!

2. [2] Clouds and darkness surround Him;

3. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

4. [3] A fire goes before Him, And burns up His enemies round about.

5. [4] His lightnings light the world; The earth sees and trembles. [5]

6. The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

7. [6] The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples see His glory.

Psalm 97 derides those who serve idols. Psalm 97:7 says, “Let all be put to shame who serve carved images, Who boast of idols. Worship Him, all you gods”

Psalm 97 is encouragement to those who love the Lord to rejoice IN THE LORD and live right.

Psalm 97:8-12 says, “Zion hears and is glad, And the daughters of Judah rejoice Because of Your judgments, O LORD. [9] For You, LORD, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods. [10] You who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. [11] Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart. [12] Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name”.

Day 97 is a Second Chronicles 27-31 day. The sixth five chapters of the fourteenth book of the Bible are applicable to the sixth day of the fourteenth week. The sixth five chapters of Second Chronicles covers the period of four kings – Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah. That was also the period of Isaiah’s ministry. The 27th chapter is about Jotham, the son of Uzziah. He was a good king. Second Chronicles 27:3-6 says, “He built the Upper Gate of the house of the LORD, and he built extensively on the wall of Ophel. [4] Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built fortresses and towers. [5] He also fought with the king of the Ammonites and defeated them. And the people of Ammon gave him in that year one hundred talents of silver, ten thousand kors of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. The people of Ammon paid this to him in the second and third years also. [6] So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God”. The 28th chapter is about the idolatrous king Ahaz. Judah suffered terribly under king Ahaz. The 29th and 30th chapters open the door to the reign of Hezekiah – his temple-worship reforms and Passover. The 31st chapter is about the reforms of Hezekiah – especially of caring for the priests and the Levites. Day 97 is for judgment and restoration. It is season to return to God or face judgment.

Day 97 is Ephesians – Philemon day in the 14th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. This sixth day of the week is the second day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the second nine books of the New Testament. Today is a day to triumph in warfare through instructions. The second 9 books of the N.T are mentoring books. The pastoral epistles of Paul are in this section. This section of the Bible is for “the preparation of the man of God”.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. Today, show that your primary allegiance is to the God of Israel. You are made in the image and likeness of God. This is a day to commemorate and relive the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. Today, make your way back to the Lord. Even if you are not a backslider, you can still get closer to the goal of expressing the Lord – as His image and likeness. Today, stand out for God as His representative and look into your life, and look around, for things and areas that need to be conformed to God’s standards. Today, pray that the kingdom comes, by the word of God, to establish God’s will in your life, family, church, community, nation; and in the nations of the world. Today, declare over all situations and idols that the Lord reigns. Never fear anything. Happy 97th day!

Day 96: The Mystery of April 6

0

Welcome to Day 96! The 96th day of the year is the fifth day of the fourteenth week. It is also the 47th day in the second 49 days of the year. It is April 6 in a clear year; and April 5 in a leap year. The Bible patterns for understanding the 96th day are the fifth day of creation narrative, the 96th psalm, and the fifth five chapters of the fourteenth book of the Bible.

Day 96 is a fifth day of creation day. It is a fifth season day. On the fifth day of creation, God made sea creatures and the birds of the air. He made flying creatures and swimming creatures. The fifth season is a season of justice and equity. God’s work on the fifth day, touched, the earth, the firmament, and the waters. The wings of the birds and the fins of the fish express justice. It is justice and righteousness that keep en afloat in the fifth season. Day 96 is a day of justice or judgment.

Day 96 is a Second Chronicles 22-26 day. These five chapters of the fourteenth book are applicable to the fifth day of the 14th week. The five people who ruled in the five chapters died terrible deaths. In the 22nd chapter, Ahaziah, the surviving son of Jehoram, was murdered in the revolution of Jehu when he went to visit his cousin in Samaria. In the 23rd chapter, Athaliah, Ahaziah’s mother, killed the royal seed when she saw that her son had been murdered. Little Joash survived the purge. Joash was made king through the efforts of Jehoiada the priest. Athaliah was murdered in a palace coup. In the 24th chapter, Joash led reforms in the early period of his reign but later turned apostate. He was murdered via conspiracy. In the 25th chapter, Amaziah became king and killed those who killed his father. He did not kill their children. He started well but later turned idolatrous, arrogant, and resistant to prophetic confrontation. From becoming a captive of the king of Israel, Amaziah died of conspiracy at the hands of his own people. Perhaps, this is the bloodiest five chapters in the fourteenth book of the Bible. May the Lord keep Day 96 free of bloodshed. The 26th chapter is about King Uzziah who feared God at the beginning of his reign but became proud as he became strong. He died a leper.

Day 96 is a Psalm 96 day. Psalm 96 calls us to sing to the Lord and proclaim the good news of His salvation. The passage also tells us why we are to sing to the Lord

Psalm 96:1-3,7-10 says, [1] Oh, SING to the LORD a new song! SING to the LORD, all the earth. [2] SING to the LORD, bless His name; PROCLAIM the good news of His salvation from day to day. [3] DECLARE His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. [7] GIVE to the LORD, O families of the peoples, GIVE to the LORD glory and strength. [8] GIVE to the LORD the glory due His name; BRING AN OFFERING, and come into His courts. [9] Oh, WORSHIP the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. [10] SAY among the nations, “THE LORD REIGNS; The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.”

Psalm 96:11-12 calls all creation to rejoice.

[11] Let the heavens rejoice, and Let the earth be glad; Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; [12] Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it. Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice before the LORD.

WHY ARE WE TO SING TO THE LORD AND REJOICE?

Psalm 96:4-6,13 tells us:

1. For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised;

2. He is to be feared above all gods.

3. For all the gods of the peoples are idols,

4. But the LORD made the heavens.

5. Honor and majesty are before Him;

6. Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

7. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.

Today, let us do the bidding of the psalmist in this chapter: “Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! [10] Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns; The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously” (Psalm 96:1-3,7-10). Let us also be in expectation for the triumph of the righteousness and justice of God.

Day 96 is a Matthew – Galatians day in the 14th week. It is a day of the compassionate intervention of God. Every week is like a journey through the Bible having an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and expresses the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fifth day of the week is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the first nine books of the New Testament. The first 9 books of the NT are about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Church. The books are about the love and grace of God granting salvation and justification to humanity by faith. This is a day to enter experientially into the New Testament side of the week. It is a day of answers to prayers, fulfillment of prophecies, and delivery of promises. The New Testament side is the spiritual and deeper side. The New Testament side is the side of manifestation. The old has passed away; and the new has begun. Dreams for the week are expected to come to pass and promises should be fulfilled. Expect deliverance and divine intervention.

DECREE AND DECLARE: At creation, God spoke His will into each day. He made us in His image and likeness; and expects us to release His will into each day. Decree this day that the flesh will not overtake the spirit in your life, family,, organization, and nation. Decree a change in the week and declare that today is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week. As a Book-of-Matthew day, decree that Emmanuel (God is with us) takes over. As a New Testament type day, decree that the love of God will overtake human error and failure. Today, submit to the spirit against the flesh. Walk in the spirit and make no room for the flesh. The fifth season is a season of giving spiritual interpretations to earthly manifestations. Today, make it your watchword to walk in the spirit and obey God’s Word. Walking in the spirit is the key to gaining all. Birds (representing the spirit) fly above and eat from the land, the sea, and the air. Today, cry out to God against oppression and for the pains in your life. Speak out also. Trust Him to intervene in your affairs and in the affairs of people around you. Determine to make a next-level move. It’s time to shift base in the spirit! Today, put yourself on the side of blessing by choosing obedience instead of curses by choosing disobedience. Happy 96th day!

Day 95: The Mystery of April 5

0

Welcome to Day 95! The 95th day of the year is also the fourth day of the fourteenth week of the year. It is the 46th day in the second 49 days. It is April 5 in a clear year and April 4 in a leap year. The Bible keys to understanding the 95th day are the fourth day of creation narrative, the 95th psalm, and the fourth five chapters (16-20) of the fourteenth book of the Bible.

Day 95 is a fourth day of creation day. On the fourth day, God made the luminaries – the sun, moon, and stars. All light comes from God. This is a season to turn on the Light against darkness. Light helps us to see things clearly and keeps us from stumbling or making foolish choices. Light delivers from darkness. The way to overcome darkness in the fourth season is to stay with God’s word.

Day 95 is a Second Chronicles 17-21 day. In the seventeenth chapter, Jehoshaphat became king and led reforms in Judah. In the eighteenth chapter, he made the wrong choice of joining Ahab to fight against Syria. He almost died in the battle field. Ahab died there. In the nineteenth chapter, a prophet rebuked Jehoshaphat for partnering with the house of Ahab – enemies of the Lord. He continued the work of reformation. In the 20th chapter, Jehoshaphat sought the Lord’s help against enemies that came up against him and Judah. He defeated them singing to battle. The reign of Jehoshaphat ended in this chapter. In the 21st chapter, his son Jehoram became king and killed his six brothers and other princes of Judah. God judged him by a written word from Elisha and he died of an intestinal disease. Darkness overtook the family of Jehoshaphat because of a wrong succession-decision. Day 95 is a day to walk in the light  Day 95 is a day to sing to victory.

Day 95 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the 14th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fourth day of the week is the day closing the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the last nine books of the Old Testament. The last nine books of the Old Testament is the bridge to the New Testament. The books are a call to respond to God’s word and light. Day 95 is the end of the Old Testament side of the 14th week.Today is the bridge-day leading to the New Testament side of the week. The books of ‘the minor prophets’ are part of the last 9 books of the O.T. They are about judgment and promises of restoration. Today is a day of the dominion of the Voice of God in the nations. Let His Voice also dominate in your life.

Day 95 is a Book of First Corinthians day in the second 49 days of the year. First Corinthians is the 46th book of the Bible and is applicable to the 46th say in the second 49 days. In the 46th book of the Bible, the Church was seized by darkness expressed through pride, divisions, and immorality. Paul confronted the church and answered question to bring back light to the church. Day 95 is a gate of time to watch against confusion and other expressions of darkness. On this day in 2021, there was a jailbreak in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. Heavily armed gun men freed 1800 inmates from a prison.

Day 95 is a Psalm 95 day. In  Psalm 95, we are called to magnify Him. Six times we are summoned to worship God. Psalm 95:1-2,6 says,

[1] Oh come, LET US sing to the LORD!

LET US shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

[2] LET US come before His presence with thanksgiving;

LET US shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

[6] Oh come, LET US worship and bow down;

LET US kneel before the LORD our Maker.

Psalm 95:3-5, 7 tells us six reasons we are to sing to Him:

1. [3] For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods.

2. [4] In His hand are the deep places of the earth;

3. The heights of the hills are His also.

4. [5] The sea is His, for He made it;

5. And His hands formed the dry land.

6. [7] For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand.

Psalm 95:7-11 gives the practical implication of the Lordship of our God.

[7] … Today, if you will hear His voice: [8] “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness, [9] When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work. [10] For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.’ [11] So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’”

Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, raise your voice against wickedness and oppression wherever it is found. Prophesy! Prophesy!! Prophesy!!! Today, also pray to be more sensitive in the spirit; to pick up necessary signals that would help you triumph over the enemy and keep darkness away. Today, pray to be delivered from falling into temptation. Pray to be preoccupied with the person of God; and to be focused on His mandate and His revealed purpose for your life. Be careful to weigh every decision in light of God’s purpose for your life; and God’s purpose for the time. Today, proclaim an end to woes and declare the dawn of a new day. Today, we owe it to our Maker to sing to Him and to obey Him.

Day 94: The Mystery of April 4

0

Welcome to Day 94 of the year! The 94th day is the third day of the fourteenth week. It is also the 45th day in the second 49 days. Day 94 is April 4 in a clear year; and April 3 in a leap year. The Bible patterns for understanding the 94th day are the third day of creation narrative, the 94th psalm, the 45th book and chapters of the Bible, and the third ten books of the Bible.

Day 94 is a third day of creation day in the 14th week. The third day of creation day narrative is applicable to the third day of the 14th week. The third day is ‘manifestation day’. It is resurrection day when life came from dry ground. On the third day of creation, God moved and gathered the waters in one place. That was containment. Then the earth manifested and brought forth vegetation. The third day was the last day of battle against the waters. The waters were overthrown on that day. The third season is battle-season against oppression. Day 94 is for the overthrow of the unstable waters and for the manifestation of solid ground and new life. God wants the third day to be a day of life – a day to work against death. The enemy wants to invade the day with death. On this day in 1841, the United States lost the 9th President, William Harrison, on the 31st day following his inauguration.

Day 94 is a Second Chronicles 12-16 day. These five chapters of the 14th book of the Bible is applicable to the third day of the 14th week. The twelfth chapter of Second Chronicles focuses on the backsliding of Rehoboam and Judah; and how God delivered Judah into the hands of Shishak, king of Egypt. Rehoboam and Judah repented and God discontinued the destruction He purposed; although He still left Judah to serve Egypt. Rehoboam was proud and faithless. The thirteenth chapter is about the reign of Abijah, the son of Rehoboam. In his days, Israel suffered great defeat from Judah – because he and the people leaned on God. The 14th, 15th, and 16th chapters focus on the reign and reformation of Asa. The early part of the reign of Asa was a season of recovery from spiritual and moral declension. Asa lost faith in the 16th chapter Day 94 is for strengthening faith in God. It is not a season to lose faith.

Day 94 is Ecclesiastes – Amos day in the 14th week. .Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The third day of every week has its guiding light in the third ten books of the Bible. The prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, and Amos) are featured in this section of the Bible. This shows that third season is the season of the voice of the Lord. The Word of God is precious today. In the third 10 books of the Bible, God sent His prophets to speak to the people. They confronted the people, warned them against judgment, comforted the faithful, and brought judgment on the arrogant. The third day is for the overthrow of the rebellious and establishment of the humble and just. How you fare in this season depends on your attitude and response to the word of God. This is a day of prophetic confrontation and judgment.

Day 94 is a Book of Romans day in the Second 49 days. Romans s is the 45th book of the Bible and is applicable to the 45th day in the second 49 days. By placement, the 45th book of the Bible is the is the first and beginning of Pauline writings. Like 45th day, the 94th day of the year is a game-changing day. It is a day of truth and revelations. It is a day of overthrows. It is a day of truth and mercy.

Day 94 is a Psalm 94 day. Psalm 94 is a call to battle. The psalmist calls on the Lord, “to whom vengeance belongs”, to shine forth with vengeance against wickedness and oppression. The third day is a season of intense pressure that leads to intense prayers and breakthroughs.  In Psalm 94, the psalmist cries out to God to react in judgment against the wicked. Psalm 94:1-7 says, “O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs- O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! [2] Rise up, O Judge of the earth; Render punishment to the proud. [3] LORD, how long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph?” [4] They utter speech, and speak insolent things; All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. [5] They break in pieces Your people, O LORD, And afflict Your heritage. [6] They slay the widow and the stranger, And murder the fatherless. [7] Yet they say, “The LORD does not see, Nor does the God of Jacob understand.” God shields and gives rest to His people from the days of adversity. Psalm 94:12-15 says, Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O LORD, And teach out of Your law, [13] That You may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked. [14] For the LORD will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance. [15] But judgment will return to righteousness, And all the upright in heart will follow it.

GOD OVERTHROWS THE WICKED IN THE 94TH SEASON.

Psalm 94:16-23 further says, “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? [17] Unless the LORD had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence. [18] If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O LORD, will hold me up. [19] In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul. [20] Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You? [21] They gather together against the life of the righteous, And condemn innocent blood. [22] But the LORD has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge. [23] He has brought on them their own iniquity, And shall cut them off in their own wickedness; The LORD our God shall cut them off”.

O DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. This is a day of manifestation. Do not be afraid to take a stand for the Lord. It is a season to come out of hiding and obscurity. It is a day to overthrow oppression and the oppressor. It is a day to establish the humble. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, be ready to hear His voice and respond by faith. Expect breakthrough. Be willing to sacrifice. Walk by faith! This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the week. This is a day of unveiling. It is a day of answers to prayers. Today, pray for the overthrow of dysfunctional systems in the nations and in the church. Pray that God will make a way for the manifestation of hidden platforms and producers. Pray also that the forgotten functional people and things be remembered, recognized, and restored. Today, remember that when God delivers and manifests, it is for service and production. Do not consume His mercy on your lust. On this third day of the week, the oppressor will go down and the humble shall be delivered.

PRAYER: Lord, today, rise up against evil doers and overthrow them. Make way for the upright to emerge. This is the day of Asa! Happy 94th day!

Day 93: The Mystery of April 3

0

Welcome to the 93rd day of the year! The 93rd day is the second day of the 14th week of the year. It is also Day 44 in the second 49 days of the year. The Bible keys for understanding Day 93 are the second day of creation narrative, the 93rd psalm, and the second five chapters of the fourteenth book of the Bible.

The 93rd day is a second season day. The second season is for dealing with oppressive monopolies. Day 93 is a second day of creation day in the 14th week. On the second day of creation, God made the firmament to thwart the monopoly of the waters and create breathing space. Those who wrestle with monopolies in the second season must have a clear revelation of the supremacy and sovereignty of God; because the second season is a time to cry to God against evil monopolies. It is a time to triumph over monopolies by the strength and power of God.

Day 93 is a Psalm 93 day. Psalm 93 opens and ends with an acknowledgment of God’s dominion. Psalm 93:1-2 says, “The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The LORD is clothed, He has girded Himself with strength. Surely the world is established, so that it cannot be moved. [2] Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting”. Psalm 93:4-5 says, “The LORD on high is mightier Than the noise of many waters, Than the mighty waves of the sea. [5] Your testimonies are very sure; Holiness adorns Your house, O LORD, forever”. Your prayer is only as strong as your knowledge of God. Problems only weigh us down. It is our revelation of God that drives us to prayer. Psalm 93:3 says, “The floods have lifted up, O LORD, The floods have lifted up their voice; The floods lift up their waves”. This is the middle verse in this five-verse psalm. It is preceded, followed, and closed-in by statements of truth about God’s power.

Day 93 is a Second Chronicles 7-11 day. The second section of the fourteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the second day of the fourteenth week. In the seventh chapter, Solomon dedicated the temple and God responded to his prayers. The eighth chapter is a record of other achievements of Solomon. The ninth chapter, beginning with the story of the visit of the Queen of Sheba, concludes Solomon’s story in the book of Second Chronicles. The tenth chapter is about the revolution that led to the split of the kingdom under Rehoboam. The split of the kingdom is a testimony to the supremacy of God. The Sovereign God told Solomon that everything would be fine as long as he remained loyal to Him. We cannot step aside from God and remain strong and standing. In the eleventh chapter, Rehoboam went to fight Israel after the split but God stopped him through a prophet. Israel broke free from the monopoly of the house of David.

Day 93 is First Kings – Proverbs day in the 14th week. The second ten books of the Bible is applicable to the second day of the 14th week, Going through any seven day week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week is the Old Testament side of the week. The the remaining three days is New Testament side of week. The second ten books of the Bible reveal the futility of turning away from God. Without God, in a second season like Day 93, you’ll be a failure.

Day 93 is a Book of Acts day in the second 49 days. Acts is the 44th book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 44th day in the second 49 days. The 44th book of the Bible shows that God is the King of Kings and Sovereign Ruler of the universe; and cannot be shut in or shut out. He makes a way where there is no way. Today, God will show His power in favor of those who trust Him. Those who fear Him fear nothing else.

Day 93 is a First Kings – to – Proverbs Day in the 14th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The second day of the week is the second day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the second 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the second 10 books of the Bible, God wanted the kings of Israel to trust Him and lead the nation in the same direction. Beginning with Solomon, the kings of Israel began to patronize Idols. Idol worship became official in the northern kingdom following the split. Judah followed. Prophets rose in this season to call the nation back to God. Eventually, the two kingdoms went into captivity – the north fell to Assyria; and the south to the Babylonians. The Jews did return from captivity after 70 years. The last two books in this section of the Bible (Psalms and Proverbs) show that loss of faith in God is prelude to the loss of all things in the second season; but faith in God is the secret of power and strength. The faithful will triumph in the second season by the power and wisdom of God no matter what happens.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, declare that your faith will not fail; and that the faithful will triumph. Decree the downfall of those who disregard God and trust in themselves or idols, Today, prophesy against evil controlling powers and overthrow them by the word of the Lord. Mercy makes a way where there is no way. Today is a day of divine intervention and mercy. Today, release the word of the Lord against oppressive mountains in your life and in your world. Raise a cry to God against the proud and wicked in the land. Today, trust God to make a way where there is no way. Proclaim His word, Pray to Him. Praise Him!

Day 93 is a day to meditate and focus on the sovereignty of God. Do not listen to the noise and waves of the sea; listen to God. Happy 93rd day!

Day 92: The Mystery of April 2

0

Welcome to Day 92! The 92nd day is the first day of the 14th week. It is the first day of the seventh week of the second seven weeks. It is Day 43 in the second 49 days. The 92nd day is a first-season day. It is April 2 in a clear year; and April 1 in a leap year. The Bible keys for understanding Day 92 are the first day  of creation narrative, Psalm 92, and the first five chapters of Second Chronicles (the 14th book of the Bible).

Day 92 is a first day of creation day in the 14th week. Day 92 is a first season  day. On the first day of creation, spoke lighr into existence to deal with the prevailing darkness. Light is an expression of God. God is First and the first is God’s. God made made light to confront and overthrow darkness. Day 92 is a day of war against darkness. It is a day to separate darkness and light or day and night. This is the first day of a ‘consecrated’ week. Choose light about darkness. Give the first place to Light.

Day 92 is a Second Chronicles 1-6 day. The first five chapters of the fourteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the first day of the 14th week. In the first chapter, Solomon is made king of Israel and receives wisdom to administer the nation. The remaining four chapters are about the building the temple of God -up till when the ark was brought into the temple. God is first; and the first belongs to Him. The first five chapters of the 14th book puts God’s interest first.

Day 92 is Genesis – 2 Samuel day in the 14th week. Going through every week is like going through the 66 books or seven blocs of the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week is the Old Testament side. The remaining three days of the week is the New Testament side. The first day of every week has its pattern and guiding light in the first ten books of the Bible. This bloc of Bible books covers from the creation of Adam to the reign of David; from the man made in the image and likeness of God to the man after God’s heart. The first day of the week, like Day 92, is the time to present oneself as the man or woman God is looking for in the week. God is looking for a man and a woman He would use this week. Be that person. Offer yourself to Him by honoring His Word and devoting yourself to His will.

Day 92 is a Book of John day in the second 49 days. The book of John is the 43rd book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 43rd day in the second 49 days of the year. The book of John is about the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us. In the book of John, Jesus is the Light of the world. He is the Word; and He is the Light. He did all things with the Word. Day 92 is the day of the Word. It is a day of conflict between light and darkness. It is a day of the triumph of light.

Day 92 is a Psalm 92 day. Psalm 92 draws attention to God; and calls us to thank God for all He’s been to us; and for all He’s done for us. Psalm 92:1-8 says, “It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; [2] To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night, [3] On an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound. [4] For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. [5] O LORD, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep. [6] A senseless man does not know, Nor does a fool understand this. [7] When the wicked spring up like grass, And when all the workers of iniquity flourish, It is that they may be destroyed forever. [8] But You, LORD, are on high forevermore.”

In the first season, God displaces things and people that are out of alignment with His person and character; and, instead, favors things and people that represent His mind and thoughts. Psalm 92:9-15 says, “For behold, Your enemies, O LORD, For behold, Your enemies shall perish; All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. [10] But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil. [11] My eye also has seen my desire on my enemies; My ears hear my desire on the wicked Who rise up against me. [12] The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. [13] Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. [14] They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, [15] To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him”.

The fourteenth week, being a seventh-season week, is a week of recompense. The recompense begins on the first day of the week; as we honor God with thanksgiving.

Day 92 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 14th week. The first day of the week is the beginning of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the first 10 books of the Bible, God revealed Himself as Creator and Caretaker. He chose those who aligned with His purpose for blessings; and reserved judgment for those who disregard Him. The first 10 books began with the creation and fall of the man in the image and likeness of God; and ended with the emergence of the man after God’s heart sitting on the throne of God’s choice nation. David was absolutely loyal to God. He gave himself for whatever God wanted. This is a day of aligning with God and becoming a man (woman) after His heart.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy.! Today, let the righteous be remembered. Let him flourish like the palm tree. Let him see and hear his desires on his enemies. This is the day of the triumph of light over darkness. Amen! Happy 92nd day!

Day 91: The Mystery of April 1

0

Welcome to the 91st day of the year. The 91st day is the seventh and last day of the 13th week. It is the 42nd day in the second 49 days of the year. It is the seventh day of the sixth week in the second 49 days. The 91st day is a seventh season day. It is April 1 in a clear year; and March 31 in a leap year. The key Bible patterns for understanding the 91st day are 1) the seventh day of creation narrative, 2) the 91st psalm, 3) the 42nd book and chapters of the Bible, 4) the last 9 books of the Bible and the New Testament.

Day 91 is a seventh day of creation day. God ended His work on the seventh day. He rested and then blessed the seventh day and made it holy. When God rested on the seventh day, it was not because of tiredness; but because He had finished His work. He ordained the seventh day a day of entering the finished work. It is a time to enjoy what been done. It is season of ushering men into rest from struggles and toils.The seventh season is a season of salvation and deliverance for those who trust in God. It is a day to enter the provisions of God through faith. It is a day to receive what you’re asking for by faith. It is a day of ending yokes and burdens.

Day 91 is a First Chronicles 25-29 day. In the 25th chapter, David organized skillful musicians for the service of God. He consecrated, from three families, the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, stringed instruments, and cymbals. In the 26th chapter, David organized the Gate-keepers (spiritual watchmen). The 27th chapter is given to the military and other state officials. In the 28th chapter, David gave instructions to Solomon; and in the 29th took offerings, besides his own preparations, for the temple. This chapter also records the second anointing of Solomon to sit on the throne of his father; and the death of David. Day 91 is a day of worship. It is the Lord’s day.

Day 91 is the last and crowning day of the 13th week. It is the closing day of the New Testament of the week. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days is the Old Testament side. The last three days is the New Testament side. Day 91 is the day ending the New Testament side of the week; and has its guiding light in the last nine books of the New Testament (Hebrews – Revelation). Those are books of recovery, renewal, and restoration.

Day 91 is a book of Luke day in the second 49 days. Luke is the 42nd book of the Bible and is applicable to the 42nd day in the second 49 days of the year. The 42nd chapters of the Bible are also applicable to the 91st day. The 42 book and chapters of the Bible indicate that the 42nd season is a season of answers to prayers; and a season of fulfilling prophecies and receiving expectations. Joseph saw a fulfilling of his dreams in Genesis 42. Job’s negative situation turned around in the 42nd chapter of the book. The book of Luke opens with God answering the prayer of Zacharias and Elizabeth; and also with fulfillment of the prophesied virgin conception. This is a day to receive answers to prayers and the the fulfillment of prophecies and promises.

Day 91 is a Psalm 91 day in the year. Psalm 91 is a psalm of the assurance of God’s protection and deliverance. It tells us that protection is in the secret place of the Most High.

Psalm 91:1 says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”. Our God is the Most High and the Almighty One. This gives us the confidence to confess that He is our Refuge and Fortress; and the God in whom we trust. Psalm 91:2I says, “I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

FOURTEEN BENEFITS OF LIVING UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY (Psalm 91:3-16)

1. [3] Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.

2. [4] He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge;

3. His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

4. [5] You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, [6] Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

5. [7] A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. [8] Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.

6. [9] Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, [10] No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

7. [11] For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. [12] In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

8. [13] You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

9. [14] “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;

10. I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

11. [15] He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;

12. I will be with him in trouble;

13. I will deliver him and honor him.

14. [16] With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

Day 91 is for coming under the shelter of the Most High. It is for enjoying the security of God’s presence. Today, spread the good news of safety in God.

Day 91 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 13th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. Today is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration.

Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Happy 91st day.

Day 90: The Mystery of March 31

0

Welcome to the 90th day of the year! The 90th day is the sixth day of the thirteenth week of the year. It is a core sixth-season day. It is the sixth day of the sixth week in the second 49 days. It is Day 41 in the second 49 days. Day 90 is March 31 in a clear year and March 30 in a leap year. The Bible patterns for understanding the 90th day of the year are 1) the sixth day of creation narrative, 2) the the 90th chapters of the Bible, 3) the sixth section of the 13th book of the Bible, 4) the second 9 books of the New Testament.

Day 90 is a sixth day of creation day in the 13th week. On the sixth day of creation, God made man in His image and likeness. With the passage of time, man became unlike his Maker. He became sinful. His lifetime is cut short and becomes brief. On the sixth day of creation, God also gave man dominion over the other living creation. He also blessed man appointed food him. The sixth day is for reflecting the image of God in man and for expressing dominion over lower forces. God will be seeking His image among men today.

Day 90 is a First Chronicles 22-25 day in the 13th week. The sixth section of the 13th book of the Bible is applicable to the sixth day of the 13th week. The 22nd chapter is about David’s preparation for the building of the temple, his charge to Solomon to build the House, and the call to the leaders to help Solomon. From erecting an altar, David moved on to plans of building the temple. The 23rd and 24th chapters record David’s organization of the Levites and Priests. The 25th chapter is about the musicians who could prophesy with harps. The sixth section of the 13th book of the Bible reveals that day 90 is a day to focus on implementing God’s will on earth. As God found a resting place in man on the sixth day of creation, that is how man should give God a resting place on the 90th day.

Day 90 is a book of Mark day in the second 49 days. The book of Mark is the 41st book of the Bible and corresponds to the 41st day in the second 49 days of the year. The 41st book of the Bible gives attention to deliverance from evil powers. Jesus cast out more demons in this book that in the other gospel accounts. This is.a day of solving problems or finding answers to problems. The 41st chapters of the Bible also bear witness to this. In Genesis 41, Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and was promoted to the place of second in command. Psalm 41 opens with the blessings that will come on the one who considers the poor. Day 90 is the Problem-solver’s Day.

Day 90 is a Psalm 90 day. Psalm 90 is a psalm of the eternity of God and the frailty of man. The psalmist reminds God that He had been man’s Eternal Habitation. Psalm 90:1-2 says, “Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. [2] Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God”. God has remained God but trouble began for man when He began to live outside God. The result of living outside God is death. Psalm 90:3-12 confirms this: “You turn man to destruction, And say, “Return, O children of men.” [4] For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, And like a watch in the night. [5] You carry them away like a flood; They are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up: [6] In the morning it flourishes and grows up; In the evening it is cut down and withers. [7] For we have been consumed by Your anger, And by Your wrath we are terrified. [8] You have set our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance. [9] For all our days have passed away in Your wrath; We finish our years like a sigh. [10] The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away. [11] Who knows the power of Your anger? For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath. [12] So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.”The psalmist ends his prayer by calling God to return to His people. Psalm 90:13-17 says, “Return, O LORD! How long? And have compassion on Your servants. [14] Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days! [15] Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, The years in which we have seen evil. [16] Let Your work appear to Your servants, And Your glory to their children. [17] And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands”.

The key to peace in the 90th or sixth season is being in alignment with God. Hosea 6:1-2 says, “Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. [2] After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight”.

Day 90 is Ephesians – Philemon day in the 13th week.

Today, pray that the kingdom comes, by the word of God, to establish God’s will in your life, family, church, community, nation; and in the nations of the world

This is a day to erect an altar of mercy because of sin and judgment. It is a day for worshippers and intercessors to take their place before God. Today, will be a day to celebrate the mercy of God rather than bemoan the frailty of man. Happy 90th day!

Day 89: The Mystery of March 30

0

Welcome to Day 89! The 89th day is the fifth day of the thirteenth week. It is a fifth-season day. It is Day 40 of the second 49 days. Day 89 is March 30 in a clear year and March 29 in a leap year. This is the beginning of the ‘new testament’ of the second 49 days of the year. The story of the fifth day of creation, the 89th psalm, and the fifth four chapters of First Chronicles, are the key Bible patterns for understanding Day 89.

Day 89 is a fifth day of creation day in the 13th week. God made sea creatures and birds of the air on the fifth day. The fifth day of creation was a day of generosity to the waters. God gave fish to the waters. He did not tell the waters to bring forth the water creatures; as He did to the earth concerning vegetation on the third day of creation. The fifth season is a time of favor and liberty. When the birds spread their wings to fly, and the fish spread their fins to swim, they remind us of the righteousness and justice of God. In the fifth season, the obedient enjoy blessings while the disobedient experience curses. God’s word is Preeminent in the fifth season. How you end up depends on your attitude to the word of God. Day 89 is a God day and a Word of God day. All eyes and attention are to be on Him and His Word in a fifth season.

Day 89 is a First Chronicles 18-21 day in the 13th week. The fifth section of the 13th book of the Bible is applicable to fifth day of the 13th week. The eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth chapters are a record of David’s military exploits – against the nations (Philistines, Moabites, Syrians, and Ammonites). In the 21st chapter, Satan moved David to number Israel and brought a plague of death on the land. By the word of the Lord, he bought over the threshing floor of Ornan, built an altar there, sacrificed to the Lord, and the plague ended. Day 89 is a day of triumph through dependence on the faithfulness of God. This is a day of battles and triumph. It is a day to recover lost ground.

Day 89 is the beginning of the New Testament side of the 13th week. Going through any seven-day week is like journeying through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days is the Old Testament side; while the remaining three days is the New Testament side. The fifth day of the week is the beginning of e New Testament side of the week; and has its guiding light in the first 9 books of the New Testament (Matthew – Galatians). Day 89 is for battling and defeating the enemy. It is a day of salvation, freedom, and fulfillment of prophecies.

Day 89 is a Book of Matthew day in the second 49 days of the year. Day 89 is the 40th day in the second 49 days of the year; and corresponds to Matthew, the 40th book of the Bible. The Bible reveals that the fortieth is a turning-point. The New Testament opens with the 40th book of the Bible. It marks the end of a phase. The 40th chapters of the Bible are also applicable to this 40th day in the second 49 days. Joseph became a problem-solver in the prison in Genesis 40. In Exodus 40, the tabernacle was dedicated and the glory of God filled it. Job began to repent in Job 40. Psalm 40 is a testimony of answers to prayer. Isaiah 40 is a message of comfort. Jeremiah 40 follows the fall of Jerusalem in the 39th chapter. Jeremiah is vindicated and rewarded here. Ezekiel 40 is the beginning of the prophet’s vision of the new city and temple. In the 40th book of the Bible, the Bible records the fulfillment of prophesies of the OT concerning the Messiah.

Day 89 is a Psalm 89 day. The 52-verse Psalm 89 is a psalm of the grace, mercy, and faithfulness, of God. It’s all about God.

 Psalm 89:1-4 says, “I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. [2] For I have said, “Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens.” [3] “I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant David: [4] ‘Your seed I will establish forever, And build up your throne to all generations.'” Selah”

The psalmist speaks of the greatness and excellency of God. Grace magnifies God.

Psalm 89:5-18 says, “And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints. [6] For who in the heavens can be compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the LORD? [7] God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, And to be held in reverence by all those around Him. [8] O LORD God of hosts, Who is mighty like You, O LORD? Your faithfulness also surrounds You. [9] You rule the raging of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them. [10] You have broken Rahab in pieces, as one who is slain; You have scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm. [11] The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all its fullness, You have founded them. [12] The north and the south, You have created them; Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Your name. [13] You have a mighty arm; Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand. [14] Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face. [15] Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance. [16] In Your name they rejoice all day long, And in Your righteousness they are exalted. [17] For You are the glory of their strength, And in Your favor our horn is exalted. [18] For our shield belongs to the LORD, And our king to the Holy One of Israel”.

The psalmist speaks of the election of David and of God’s extravagant grace to him.

Psalm 89:19-37 says, “Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, And said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people. [20] I have found My servant David; With My holy oil I have anointed him, [21] With whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him. [22] The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him. [23] I will beat down his foes before his face, And plague those who hate him. [24] “But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, And in My name his horn shall be exalted. [25] Also I will set his hand over the sea, And his right hand over the rivers. [26] He shall cry to Me, ‘You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.’ [27] Also I will make him My firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth. [28] My mercy I will keep for him forever, And My covenant shall stand firm with him. [29] His seed also I will make to endure forever, And his throne as the days of heaven. [30] “If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments, [31] If they break My statutes And do not keep My commandments, [32] Then I will punish their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes. [33] Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, Nor allow My faithfulness to fail. [34] My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. [35] Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David: [36] His seed shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me; [37] It shall be established forever like the moon, Even like the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah”

The psalmist complains to God about deserting His heritage. He actually seems to put the responsibility for their condition on God. He has a thirteen-point charge against God. He could not synchronize God’s promises to David and what His people were experiencing.

Psalm 89:38-45 says, “But You have cast off and abhorred, You have been furious with Your anointed. [39] You have renounced the covenant of Your servant; You have profaned his crown by casting it to the ground. [40] You have broken down all his hedges; You have brought his strongholds to ruin. [41] All who pass by the way plunder him; He is a reproach to his neighbors. [42] You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries; You have made all his enemies rejoice. [43] You have also turned back the edge of his sword, And have not sustained him in the battle. [44] You have made his glory cease, And cast his throne down to the ground. [45] The days of his youth You have shortened; You have covered him with shame. Selah”.

Psalm 89:46-52 further says, “How long, LORD? Will You hide Yourself forever? Will Your wrath burn like fire? [47] Remember how short my time is; For what futility have You created all the children of men? [48] What man can live and not see death? Can he deliver his life from the power of the grave? Selah [49] Lord, where are Your former lovingkindnesses, Which You swore to David in Your truth? [50] Remember, Lord, the reproach of Your servants- How I bear in my bosom the reproach of all the many peoples, [51] With which Your enemies have reproached, O LORD, With which they have reproached the footsteps of Your anointed.”

He ends with an acknowledgement of the worthiness of God. “Blessed be the LORD forevermore! Amen and Amen”. There is no blame in God. Even God’s chastisement of His children is an expression of grace.

Day 89 is a Matthew – Galatians day in the 13th week. Expect deliverance and divine intervention

.DECREE AND DECLARE: At creation, God spoke His will into each day.

Today, hold on to God’s word and bring God’s word before Him. Day 89 is a day to draw God’s attention to His Word and the situation in your life. It is a day to see the fulfillment of God’s word. Happy 89th day.

Day 88: The Mystery of March 29

0

Welcome to Day 88! The 88th day is the fourth day of the thirteenth week. It is also the 39th day in the second 49 days of the year. The 88th day is a fourth season day. It is March 29 in a clear year and March 28 in a leap year. The Bible keys to understanding the 88th day are the fourth day of creation narrative, the 88th psalm, and the fourth four chapters of the thirteenth book of the Bible.

Day 88 is a fourth day of creation day. God make the luminaries on the fourth day of creation ‘because’ the fourth season is a ‘fight-back’ season for the kingdom of darkness. In the fourth season, the kingdom of darkness fights the godly with temptations, trials, afflictions, and troubles. The trials and pressures that come in the fourth season makes the season one of complaints and questions. God makes the fourth season to be ‘light and illumination season’ for His people. It is a season to triumph with light – light from God’s word, light from visions and revelations, and light from study and wise counsel. The light may help us to avoid or escape what is coming; or to understand what is going on. When, by light, you understand what is going on, you would have fewer complaints and questions.

Day 88 is a First Chronicles 13-16 day in the 13th week. The fourth four chapters of the thirteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the fourth day of the thirteenth week. In the thirteenth chapter David made a failed attempt to bring the Ark to Jerusalem. It ended in the death of Uzzah; because the Ark was not carried properly according to the Law. In the fourteenth chapter, David established himself at Jerusalem and defeated the Philistines. In the fifteenth chapter, David brought the Ark properly to Jerusalem. in the 16th chapter, the Ark was brought into the tabernacle; David gave thanks to God in songs, and appointed song-ministers to worship regularly and minister to the Lord before the Ark. The Lord is the Light of Israel. Living in the presence of the Lord is the key to safety and preservation. The presence of the Lord is our Refuge in time of trouble. Day 88 is for ensuring the presence of God. It is a day to bring in the Ark into the City of God and the House of God. You are the House of God. Let the Lord possess His house in you.

Day 88 is a Psalm 88 day. The 88th psalm bears witness that the 88th season is a season of trials. It is a psalm of complaints and questions to God about the troubles of the psalmist. In the first two verses of the psalm, he appeals to God to be heard.

Psalm 88:1-2 says, “O LORD, God of my salvation, I have cried out day and night before You. [2] Let my prayer come before You; Incline Your ear to my cry.”

He repeats this complaint in the ninth and thirteenth verses:

“…Lord, I have called daily upon You; I have stretched out my hands to You”.

Psalm 88:13 NKJV

[13] But to You I have cried out, O LORD, And in the morning my prayer comes before You.

THE TROUBLES

From the third verse, the psalmist te

lls his experiences (Psalm 88:3-9):

[3] For my soul is full of troubles,

And my life draws near to the grave.

[4] I am counted with those who go down to the pit;

I am like a man who has no strength,

[5] Adrift among the dead, Like the slain who lie in the grave, Whom You remember no more, And who are cut off from Your hand.

[6] You have laid me in the lowest pit, In darkness, in the depths.

[7] Your wrath lies heavy upon me, And You have afflicted me with all Your waves. Selah

[8] You have put away my acquaintances far from me;

You have made me an abomination to them; I am shut up, and I cannot get out;

[9] My eye wastes away because of affliction. LORD, I have called daily upon You; I have stretched out my hands to You.

FURTHER COMPLAINTS

(Psalm 88:15-18)

[15] I have been afflicted and ready to die from my youth;

I suffer Your terrors;

I am distraught.

[16] Your fierce wrath has gone over me; Your terrors have cut me off. [17] They came around me all day long like water; They engulfed me altogether.

[18] Loved one and friend You have put far from me, And my acquaintances into darkness.

QUESTIONS

From the tenth verse, the psalmist questions God (Psalm 88:10-12,14):

[10] Will You work wonders for the dead?

Shall the dead arise and praise You? Selah

[11] Shall Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave? Or Your faithfulness in the place of destruction?

[12] Shall Your wonders be known in the dark? And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

[14] LORD, why do You cast off my soul? Why do You hide Your face from me?

Day 88 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the 13th week. Today is the bridge-day leading to the New Testament side of the week. The books of ‘the minor prophets’ are part of the last 9 books of the O.T. They are about judgment and promises of restoration. Today is a day of the dominion of the Voice of God in the nations. Let His Voice dominate in your life.

PRAYER

Lord, help me to escape the traps and arrows of the wicked one today. Draw me into your presence and let me find comfort and strength before you.

Happy 88th day!
