Day 109: The Mystery of April 19

0

Welcome to the 109th day of the year! Day 109 is the fourth day of the sixteenth week. It is the eleventh day of the third 49 days. It is a fourth-season day. Day 109 is April 19 in a clear year; and April 18 in a leap year. The Bible keys for understanding Day 109 are the fourth day of creation narrative, Psalm 109, and the fourth chapter of the sixteenth book of the Bible.

Day 109 is a fourth-day-of-creation day. On the fourth day of creation, God made the luminaries. The sun, moon, and stars, are silent (noiseless) influencers. However, the fourth season, is when men are prone to engaging their mouths for harm. Oh that men would learn to be os noiseless as the luminaries in fourth seasons. In the fourth seasons, action should speak louder than voice. It is a season of fasting, prayer, and meditation to release power without noise (noiseless power!). This fourth day of the week is a day of order. It is the bridge day in the week – the

Day 109 is a Nehemiah chapters 7-8 day in the 16th week. The fourth two chapters of the sixteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the fourth day of the sixteenth week. In the seventh and eight chapters of the 16th book of the Bible, Nehemiah began to organize the people and the city. In the seventh chapter, he took record of the people. In the 8th chapter, Ezra read the book of the Law to the people; and they were moved to return to the Lord with all their hearts. The people were heartbroken for the things they heard but they were encouraged to rejoice because that day was a new beginning for them.

Day 109 is Obadiah – Malachi season in the 16th week. The fourth division of the Bible (the last 9 books of the Old Testament) are applicable to the fourth day of the (16th) week. They are the bridge-books leading to the New Testament. They are books of recovery and reconstruction. They are books of preparation.

Day 109 is a Book of First Kings Day in the third 49 days of the year. The 11th book of the Bible is applicable to the 11th day in the third 49 days of the year. In the 11th book of the Bible, Solomon became king of Israel but fell below the Davidic standard of alignment with God. Israel prospered materially in the 11th book of the Bible but also declined spiritually in this book. Israel’s problem as a nation began in this book. The kingdom divided in this book. Idol worship became state religion in this book and affected Israel until the captivity. An unprecedented move of confrontational and judgmental revival also started in this book but it focused mainly on overthrowing the Advil system in the land. Ahijah the Shilonite, the man of God from Judah, Elijah the Tishbite, and Micaiah stood before God in this book. This was a tough season for prophetic voices in Israel. The kings, especially Ahab and his wife Jezebel, did everything to silence them. Many of them went into hiding to escape death. Day 109 is a day of trials and tests. It is a day to walk with great sensitivity and submission to divine counsel.

Day 109 is a Psalm 109 day. In Psalm 109, the psalmist calls on the Lord to rise to speak and act on his behalf – because of the treachery of the wicked. It is a call for vengeance.

Psalm 109:1-5 says, “Do not keep silent, O God of my praise! [2] For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful Have opened against me; They have spoken against me with a lying tongue. [3] They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And fought against me without a cause. [4] In return for my love they are my accusers, But I give myself to prayer. [5] Thus they have rewarded me evil for good, And hatred for my love”.

The psalmist makes a 11-point demand from heaven against the wicked:

Psalm 109:6-20 says,

1. [6] Set a wicked man over him, And let an accuser stand at his right hand.

2. [7] When he is judged, let him be found guilty, And let his prayer become sin.

3. [8] Let his days be few, And let another take his office.

4. [9] Let his children be fatherless, And his wife a widow.

5. [10] Let his children continually be vagabonds, and beg; Let them seek their bread also from their desolate places.

6. [11] Let the creditor seize all that he has, And let strangers plunder his labor.

7. [12] Let there be none to extend mercy to him, Nor let there be any to favor his fatherless children.

8. [13] Let his posterity be cut off, And in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

9. [14] Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the LORD, And let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. [15] Let them be continually before the LORD, That He may cut off the memory of them from the earth; [16] Because he did not remember to show mercy, But persecuted the poor and needy man, That he might even slay the broken in heart.

10. [17] As he loved cursing, so let it come to him; As he did not delight in blessing, so let it be far from him. [18] As he clothed himself with cursing as with his garment, So let it enter his body like water, And like oil into his bones. [19] Let it be to him like the garment which covers him, And for a belt with which he girds himself continually. [20] Let this be the LORD’s reward to my accusers, And to those who speak evil against my person.

Psalm 109:28-29 continues,

11. [28] Let them curse, but You bless; When they arise, let them be ashamed, But let Your servant rejoice. [29] Let my accusers be clothed with shame, And let them cover themselves with their own disgrace as with a mantle.

The psalmist makes a two-point mercy-demand from God for Himself in Psalm 109:21-27:

1. [21] But You, O GOD the Lord, Deal with me for Your name’s sake; Because Your mercy is good, deliver me. [22] For I am poor and needy, And my heart is wounded within me. [23] I am gone like a shadow when it lengthens; I am shaken off like a locust. [24] My knees are weak through fasting, And my flesh is feeble from lack of fatness. [25] I also have become a reproach to them; When they look at me, they shake their heads.

2. [26] Help me, O LORD my God! Oh, save me according to Your mercy, [27] That they may know that this is Your hand- That You, LORD, have done it!

THE PSALMIST’S COMMITMENT TO PRAISE GOD

Psalm 109:30-31: I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude. [31] For He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, To save him from those who condemn him.

Psalm 109 reveals that Day 109 is a gate of time for both wickedness and vengeance against treachery. The gate-keepers of the day must occupy the gate of time and declare war against the wicked and treacherous in the land. This is a day for light to rise against darkness.

Day 109 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the 16th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fourth day of the week is the day closing the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the last nine books of the Old Testament. Today is the bridge-day leading to the New Testament side of the week. The books of ‘the minor prophets’ are part of the last 9 books of the O.T. They are about judgment and promises of restoration. Today is a day of the dominion of the Voice of God in the nations. Let His Voice dominate in your life.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, raise your voice against wickedness and oppression wherever it is found. Prophesy! Prophesy!! Prophesy!!! Today, also pray to be more sensitive in the spirit; to pick up necessary signals that would help you triumph over the enemy and keep darkness away. Today, pray to be delivered from falling into temptation. Pray to be preoccupied with the person of God; and to be focused on His mandate and His revealed purpose for your life. Be careful to weigh every decision in light of God’s purpose for your life; and God’s purpose for the time. Today, proclaim an end to woes and declare the dawn of a new day.

Day 109 is a day of conflict with the adversary; but by light, you will prevail over darkness. Happy 109th day!

Day 108: The Mystery of April 18

0

Welcome to the 108th day of the year! Day 108 is the third day of the second week in the third 49 days. It is the tenth day in the third 49 days. It is a third-season day. It is April 18 in a clear year; and April 17 in a leap yesr. The Bible keys to understanding Day 108 are the second day of creation narrative, Psalm 108, and the third chapter of the sixteenth book of the Bible.

Day 108 is a third day of creation day in the 16th week. On the third day of creation, God set a boundary for the waters and commanded dry ground to appear. He also called the dry ground to bring forth vegetation. God granted breakthrough to dry ground and vegetation on the third day of creation. It is a season of breakthroughs against limitations. The limitations come first, then crying to God, and then, victorious intervention. The third is a season of establishment. That is when the action begins. It is the action of the third season that determines the direction of the future seasons. This is the day to shape the direction of the 16th week. It is the game-changing day in the week.

Day 108 is Ecclesiastes – Amos day in the 16th week. The third ten books of the Bible are applicable to the third day of the 16th week. This is the day of the Voice of God. The major prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel, spoke within the third ten books of the Bible. This is a day to hear and heed the Voice of God.

Day 108 is a Nehemiah-chapter 5-6 day in the 16th week. The third 2 chapters of the sixteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the third day of the sixteenth week of the year. in these chapters, Nehemiah and the Jews fought their last battle against distractions, deception, and opposition. In the fifth chapter, Nehemiah dealt with the outcry against oppression among the Jews. The chapter also speaks of Nehemiah’s generosity and sacrifice as a leader. In the third season, you do not think of how much you can get but how much you can give. The season is not about what I can gain but about what I can give up. In the sixth chapter of Nehemiah, the adversaries of Judah sought to deceive and distract Nehemiah but they did not succeed. The work was completed and dedicated in this chapter. The enemies were depressed and knew that the work was done by God. They completed the walls in 52 days. Their testimonies weakened their adversaries. This is the day of the last battle in the 16th week.

Day 108 is Second Samuel day in the third 49 days of the year. The tenth book of the Bible is applicable to the tenth day in the second 49 days of the year. David became established as the king of Israel in the tenth book of the Bible. He became the standard and reference point to future kings in Israel. David and Israel fought the last battle with the Philistines and subdued them in the tenth book of the Bible. The course of the week is changing today.

Day 108 is a Psalm 108 day. The 108th psalm is applicable to the 108th day of the year.

A. In the first five verses of Psalm 108, the psalmist is stirred to sing to God and praise Him with musical instruments: “O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. [2] Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. [3] I will praise You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations. [4] For Your mercy is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the clouds. [5] Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth”.

B. The songs and praises of the psalmist is in anticipation of His merciful intervention. Songs are powerful in sixteenth seasons. David began to play music for Saul in First Samuel 16. David sang In First Chronicles 16 when the ark of God was brought into the tabernacle. Paul and Silas sang praises to God in Acts 16; and their prison doors were forcefully opened. In Nehemiah, the 16th book of the Bible, singers featured prominently, from the seventh chapter, after the completion of the work. Songs cause breakthroughs in sixteenth seasons. New songs and hymns were part of the sixteenth century Reformation. In this psalm, the psalmist is singing to be delivered.

Psalm 108:6-13 says, “That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me. [7] God has spoken in His holiness: “I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem And measure out the Valley of Succoth. [8] Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet for My head; Judah is My lawgiver. [9] Moab is My washpot; Over Edom I will cast My shoe; Over Philistia I will triumph.” [10] Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom? [11] Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies? [12] Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless. [13] Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies”.

Psalm 108 has about six verses in common with Psalm 60.

Day 108 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the 16th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The third day of the week is the third day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the third 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the third 10 books of the Bible, God sent His prophets to speak to the people. They confronted the people, warned them against judgment, comforted the faithful, and brought judgment on the arrogant. The third day is for the overthrow of the rebellious and establishment of the humble and just. How you fare in this season depends on your attitude and response to the word of God. This is a day of prophetic confrontation and judgment

.DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. This is a day of manifestation. Do not be afraid to take a stand for the Lord. It is a season to come out of hiding and obscurity. It is a day to overthrow oppression and the oppressor. It is a day to establish the humble. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, be ready to hear His voice and respond by faith. Expect breakthrough. Be willing to sacrifice. Walk by faith! This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the week. This is a day of unveiling. It is a day of answers to prayers. Today, pray for the overthrow of dysfunctional systems in the nations and in the church. Pray that God will make a way for the manifestation of hidden platforms and producers. Pray also that the forgotten functional people and things be remembered, recognized, and restored. Today, remember that when God delivers and manifests, it is for service and production. Do not consume His mercy on your lust. On this third day of the week, the oppressor will go down and the humble shall be delivered. On this third season day, I will run ahead with songs and praises to God for breakthroughs and open doors. Happy 108th day!

Day 105: The Mystery of April 15

0

Welcome to the 105th day of the year! Day 105 is the seventh and last day of the fifteenth week. It is also the seventh day (end of the first week) in the third 49 days of the year. Day 105 is a seventh season day. It is April 15 in a clear year; and April 14 in a leap year. The Bible patterns for understanding Day 105 are the seventh day of creation narrative, Psalm 105, and the last four chapters (seventh section) of the fifteenth book of the Bible.

Day 105 is a seventh day of creation day. The seventh day of creation was a work-free day for God. He rested on that day; not because He was tired but to institute the seventh day as a season of rest for mankind – a season to end toils and struggles. God appoints salvation and deliverance for man in the seventh season. When God rested on the seventh day, it was not to take a vacation or holiday from work; but to enact that man would rest from suffering in the seventh season. A work-free season is a time to look back and reflect. It is a day of settling to enjoy the work, tell stories, evaluate, make corrections, or deliver judgment. God also blessed and hallowed the seventh day. He made it a holy day – separate from the other days. The seventh day is therefore consecrated to God. It is a day of seeking His pleasure or returning to Him in repentance.

Day 105 is a Psalm 105 day. Psalm 105 is a recount of Israel’s history from God’s covenant with Abraham to Israel’s settlement in Canaan. The goal of recounting Israel’s history in this chapter is to get the people’s mind on God’s faithfulness. Day 105 is remembrance and reflection day. Psalm 105:1-45 says it all:

A. WONDERFUL, COVENANT-KEEPING GOD: [1] Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! [2] Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works! [3] Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! [4] Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! [5] Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth, [6] O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones! [7] He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth. [8] He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations,

B. ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB: [9] The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac, [10] And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant, [11] Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan As the allotment of your inheritance,” [12] When they were few in number, Indeed very few, and strangers in it. [13] When they went from one nation to another, From one kingdom to another people, [14] He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, [15] Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.”

C. JOSEPH: [16] Moreover He called for a famine in the land; He destroyed all the provision of bread. [17] He sent a man before them- Joseph-who was sold as a slave. [18] They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons. [19] Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD tested him. [20] The king sent and released him, The ruler of the people let him go free. [21] He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his possessions, [22] To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom. [23] Israel also came into Egypt, And Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.

D. MOSES: [24] He increased His people greatly, And made them stronger than their enemies. [25] He turned their heart to hate His people, To deal craftily with His servants. [26] He sent Moses His servant, And Aaron whom He had chosen. [27] They performed His signs among them, And wonders in the land of Ham. [28] He sent darkness, and made it dark; And they did not rebel against His word. [29] He turned their waters into blood, And killed their fish. [30] Their land abounded with frogs, Even in the chambers of their kings. [31] He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, And lice in all their territory. [32] He gave them hail for rain, And flaming fire in their land. [33] He struck their vines also, and their fig trees, And splintered the trees of their territory. [34] He spoke, and locusts came, Young locusts without number, [35] And ate up all the vegetation in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground. [36] He also destroyed all the firstborn in their land, The first of all their strength. [37] He also brought them out with silver and gold, And there was none feeble among His tribes. [38] Egypt was glad when they departed, For the fear of them had fallen upon them. [39] He spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to give light in the night. [40] The people asked, and He brought quail, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven. [41] He opened the rock, and water gushed out; It ran in the dry places like a river. [42] For He remembered His holy promise, And Abraham His servant. [43] He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with gladness.

E. JOSHUA: He gave them the lands of the Gentiles, And they inherited the labor of the nations, [45] That they might observe His statutes And keep His laws. Praise the LORD!

Psalm 105 is a recount and reflection on the faithfulness of God. He make promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; followed it up, and fulfilled it to their descendants. Retelling our stories keeps us humble, grateful, and focused. If we forget where we are coming from, it’s a sign if we’ve forgotten where we’re going. Our heart should overflow with gratitude and pour out loyalty to the Faithful God. The greatest response to faithfulness is loyalty.

Day 105 is an Ezra 10 day. This seventh section of the fifteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the seventh day of the fifteenth week. The tenth chapter is about is given to confession of sins, and repentance for those who had married foreign wives. Ezra took the lead and the people joined him in confession and repentance. The people renewed covenant with God and decided to separate themselves from their abominations and errors. This is not a day to sin more but a day to repent more. We cannot walk in unfaithfulness before the One who has been faithful to us.

Day 105 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 15th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. Today is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, judgment, recovery, and restoration. The Titanic sank in the early hours of April 15, 1912 after striking an iceberg; killing 1500 passengers.

Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Today, is a day to celebrate freedom from struggles and review our journey with the faithful God. It is a day of returning to God. All we can give to faithfulness is loyalty. Happy 105th day.

Day 104: The Mystery of April 14

0

Welcome to Day 104! The 104th day is the sixth day of the fifteenth week. It is the sixth day of the first week in the third seven weeks of the year. It is the sixth day of the third 49 days. Day 104 is a sixth season day. It is April 14 in a clear year; and April 13 in a leap year. The Bible keys for understanding Day 104 are the sixth day of creation narrative, the 104th psalm, and the sixth chapter of the fifteenth book of the Bible.

Day 104 is a sixth day of creation day. On the sixth day, God ended and perfected the creation of flesh. It was on the sixth day He created Man and Land animals. God made man in His image after His likeness; and communicated with man on this day about food and provisions. His blessed man with fruitfulness and multiplication; and charged Him with the governance of the earth. In the sixth season, God seeks the recovery of His image on earth. He overthrows things that do not bear His semblance and exalts His image. Sovereignty, He bestows or takes away inheritance; He raises kings and brings down kings. In the sixth season, God acts like the Owner of the earth He is. He manifests Himself as Sovereign Lord over the affairs of men in the sixth season. God is a Giver in the sixth season. He gives food, lands, and thrones. In the sixth season, man is to be filled with God’s Spirit, and be preoccupied with God; because expressing God is the reason for the existence of man. As God made man in His image on the sixth day, the evil one seeks the manifestation of his own image in sixth seasons like Day 104.

Day 104 is an Ezra chapter six day, The sixth chapter of the fifteenth book is applicable to the sixth day of the fifteenth week. In the sixth chapter of Ezra, following a search of the archives, King Darius issued a decree authorizing the Jews to continue with the rebuilding of the temple without opposition or interference. It was to be rebuilt at the expense of the Persian Kingdom. The House was completed and dedicated. The people kept the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This is a testimonial of God’s power to help those who trust in Him; “for the LORD made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel” (Ezra 6:22).

Day 104 is a Psalm 104 day. Psalm 104 is about the Lord and His works. This psalm exalts the Lord and His manifold works. Psalm 104 is a chronicle of creation – from light to the firmament;  from the dry ground and vegetation to the luminaries; from the sea and land creatures and to man, the image and likeness of God.

FIRST DAY: LET THERE BE LIGHT

“Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, [2] Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment,

When God said, “Let there be light”, He manifested Himself – covering Himself with light “as with a garment”. God is Light and there is no darkness in Him.

DAY TWO: LET THERE A FIRMAMENT

“Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain. [3] He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind, [4] Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.

DAY THREE: “LET THE WATERS BE GATHERED TOGETHER

[5] You who laid the foundations of the earth, So that it should not be moved forever, [6] You covered it with the deep as with a garment; The waters stood above the mountains. [7] At Your rebuke they fled; At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away. [8] They went up over the mountains; They went down into the valleys, To the place which You founded for them. [9] You have set a boundary that they may not pass over, That they may not return to cover the earth. [10] He sends the springs into the valleys; They flow among the hills. [11] They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild donkeys quench their thirst. [12] By them the birds of the heavens have their home; They sing among the branches. [13] He waters the hills from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. [14] He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the service of man, That he may bring forth food from the earth, [15] And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man’s heart. [16] The trees of the LORD are full of sap, The cedars of Lebanon which He planted, [17] Where the birds make their nests; The stork has her home in the fir trees. [18] The high hills are for the wild goats; The cliffs are a refuge for the rock badgers.

DAY FOUR: LET THERE BE LIGHTS IN THE FIRMAMENT

[19] He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down. [20] You make darkness, and it is night, In which all the beasts of the forest creep about. [21] The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God. [22] When the sun rises, they gather together And lie down in their dens. [23] Man goes out to his work And to his labor until the evening. [24] O LORD, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions-

DAY FIVE: LET THE WATERS ABOUND WITH LIVING CREATURES

[25] This great and wide sea, In which are innumerable teeming things, Living things both small and great. [26] There the ships sail about; There is that Leviathan Which You have made to play there. [27] These all wait for You, That You may give them their food in due season. [28] What You give them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good. [29] You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.

DAY SIX: LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE

[30] You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth. [31] May the glory of the LORD endure forever; May the LORD rejoice in His works. [32] He looks on the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hills, and they smoke. [33] I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. [34] May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the LORD. [35] May sinners be consumed from the earth, And the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul! Praise the LORD!”

Day 104 is for preoccupation with the good and great works of God as in Psalm 104. On the other hand, the evil one wants to keep people’s thoughts and minds on his evil and wicked works. The Titanic, the largest ocean liner of the time, got into trouble at sea on its maiden voyage on April 14 and finally sank in April 15 – in the 15th week of the year. About 1500 lives were lost. In 1865, wicked me plotted to the 16th President of the United States, the Vice President, and the Secretary of State. They shot the President, Abraham Lincoln. In 2014, Boko Haram abducted 276 school girls in North-east Nigeria and suicide-bombed a bus station in Nyanya, Abuja. In 2022, at least 35 people were killed and 71 injured when a bus carrying 106 Easter worshippers crashed into a ravine in eastern Zimbabwe about 10 p.m. local time. The bus reportedly was carrying 106 passengers of the Zion Christian Church to an Easter pilgrimage. This is a day to pray against the wicked, wickedness, and evil works. Today, let your life (thoughts, words, and works, express and magnify God. You were made to express Him! This day is for declaring His works.

Today is Ephesians – Philemon day in the 15th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. This sixth day of the week is the second day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the second nine books of the New Testament. Today is a day to triumph in warfare through instructions. The second 9 books of the N.T are mentoring books. The pastoral epistles of Paul are in this section. This section of the Bible is for “the preparation of the man of God”. This is a day to guided into peace and away from evil. Take divine guidance seriously.

Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. Today, show that your primary allegiance is to the God of Israel. You are made in the image and likeness of God. This is a day to commemorate and relive the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. Today, make your way back to the Lord. Even if you are not a backslider, you can still get closer to the goal of expressing the Lord – as His image and likeness. Today, stand out for God as His representative and look into your life, and look around, for things and areas that need to be conformed to God’s standards. Today, pray that the kingdom comes, by the word of God, to establish God’s will in your life, family, church, community, nation; and in the nations of the world. Have a happy and tremendously fruitful 104th day of the year!

Day 103: The Mystery of April 13

0

Welcome to the 103rd day of the year! Day 103 is the fifth day of the fifteenth week, the Day 5 of the third 49 days; or the fifth day of the first week of the third seven weeks. It is April 13 in a Clear yeat; and April 12 in a leap year. The Bible patterns for understanding Day 103 are 1) the fifth day of creation narrative, 2) the 8th chapter (fifth section) of the 15th book of the Bible, 3) Psalm 103, and 4) the first 9 books of the New Testament.

Day 103 is a fifth day of creation day in the fifteenth week. On the fifth day, God blessed the waters, the earth, and the firmament, with moving life; by putting abundance of living creatures in it. On the fifth day, God began the creation of flesh – birds, fish, and sea creatures. On the fifth day, God blessed His creation, for the first time. The fifth is a season of grace and generosity. It is the season of the Lord’s abundant mercies. It is a season to remember the goodness of God. In the fifth book of the Bible, Israel was taught and warned to not forget the Lord. The fifth season is for concentration (focusing attention) on the Lord – the Giver of things.

Day 103 is Ezra chapter 8 day in the 15th week. There are two accounts of returns to Jerusalem in Ezra, the 15th book of the Bible. The first return in Ezra 1-6 was to rebuild the physical temple. The second return (Ezra 7-10) led by Ezra was to rebuild the people, the spiritual temple. The 8th chapter of Ezra is about those who returned with Ezra and the things they returned with. The book of Ezra is just like the Bible. It has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first 10 books of the Old Testament is about the key players (Adam-David) in the Old Covenant. The first nine books of the NT is about the key players (Jesus and John – Paul) in the New Covenant. Ezra 8 is a new beginning in the book. It is the beginning of spiritual restoration – turning the people back to God. It is the beginning of the ‘New Testament’ side of the book of Ezra. A type of Christ, Ezra was the leader of a new movement in the 15th book of the Bible. This fifth day of the 15th week is critical new beginning in the week. May it be so in your life.

Day 103 is a Psalm 103 day. There are over 40 references to the Lord in this 22-verse psalm. This psalm indicates that Day 103 is for preoccupation with God’s grace.

A. Psalm 103 is a call to bless the Lord for His benefits of forgiveness, healing, protection and deliverance from destructions, lovingkindness and tender mercies, provision of food and drinks. Psalm 103:1-5 says, “Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! [2] Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: [3] Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, [4] Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, [5] Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”.

B. This psalm also focuses on God’s attribute of righteousness, justice, and mercy. Psalm 103:6-18 says, “The LORD executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed. [7] He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. [8] The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. [9] He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. [10] He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. [11] For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; [12] As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. [13] As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him. [14] For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. [15] As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. [16] For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. [17] But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, [18] To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them”.

C. Thirdly, the psalm looks at the Lordship (supremacy) and dominion of God. His kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19-22 says, “The LORD has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all. [20] Bless the LORD, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. [21] Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure. [22] Bless the LORD, all His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!”

Day 103 is a Matthew – Galatians day in the 15th week. It is a day of the compassionate intervention of God. Every week is like a journey through the Bible having an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and expresses the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fifth day of the week is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the first nine books of the New Testament. The first 9 books of the NT are about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Church. In these books, God came closer to men in the person of Jesus Christ. People felt God through healings, deliverances, miracles, signs and wonders, mercy and love, and diverse interventions. Day 103 is a day to feel the presence and goodness of God. The books are about the love and grace of God granting salvation and justification to humanity by faith. This is a day to enter experientially into the New Testament side of the week. It is a day of answers to prayers, fulfillment of prophecies, and delivery of promises. The New Testament side is the spiritual and deeper side. The New Testament side is the side of manifestation. The old has passed away; and the new has begun. Dreams for the week are expected to come to pass and promises should be fulfilled. Expect deliverance and divine intervention.

DECREE AND DECLARE: At creation, God spoke His will into each day. He made us in His image and likeness; and expects us to release His will into each day. Decree this day that the flesh will not overtake the spirit in your life, family,, organization, and nation. Decree a change in the week and declare that today is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week. As a Book-of-Matthew day, decree that Emmanuel (God is with us) takes over. As a New Testament type day, decree that the love of God will overtake human error and failure. Today, submit to the spirit against the flesh. Walk in the spirit and make no room for the flesh. The fifth season is a season of giving spiritual interpretations to earthly manifestations. Today, make it your watchword to walk in the spirit and obey God’s Word. Walking in the spirit is the key to gaining all. Birds (representing the spirit) fly above and eat from the land, the sea, and the air. Today, cry out to God against oppression and for the pains in your life. Speak out also. Trust Him to intervene in your affairs and in the affairs of people around you. Determine to make a next-level move. It’s time to shift base in the spirit! Today, put yourself on the side of blessing by choosing obedience instead of curses by choosing disobedience. Have a happy 103rd day!

PRAYER: Lord, on this day 103 of the year, keep my mind and heart on you – who you are, what you have done for me, and what you do for all. Let thoughts of your Grace fill and preoccupy my heart. Amen.

Day 102: The Mystery of April 12

0

This is the 102nd day of the year. It is also the fourth day of the fifteenth week and the fourth day in the third 49 days of the year. Day 102 is a fourth-season day. It is April 12 in a clear year and April 11 in a leap year. The Bible patterns for understanding the 102nd day are 1) the fourth day of creation narrative, 2)

Day 102 is a fourth day of creation day. The fourth season is a season of lights. God created the luminaries on the fourth day – the sun, the moon, and the stars. The lights of the fourth season are to be for seasons, to divide the day and the night, to rule the day and the night, and also give light to the earth. God gives light because of darkness. God guides us by His word, revelations from the Spirit, and by wise counsel, to keep us from becoming victims of the darkness that fights in the fourth season. Darkness does not kill but it frustrates. It makes you hurt yourself. In the fourth season, darkness manifests through temptations and trials of faith. In the fourth season, light manifests through revelations and wisdom. Success in the fourth season is by dependence on, and engagement of, light.

Day 102 is an Ezra-chapter-seven-day. The seventh chapter (fourth section) of the fifteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the fourth day of the fifteenth week. In the seventh chapter of the book, Ezra received favor from the king and returned to Jerusalem to teach the people the law. Ezra 7:8-10 says, “And Ezra came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king. [9] On the first day of the first month he began his journey from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him. [10] For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel”. God’s word is light; and that’s what Ezra took to Jerusalem at this time. He was the light-bearer and luminary of the season. He went to Jerusalem to point the people to God and His word. Today, may the Lord will send you light from His word; and also send you as a luminary to people in need of light.

Day 102 is a Psalm 102 day. Psalm 102 opens with the psalmist’s prayer to God for personal troubles. The first eleven verses is about “I”, “Me”, “My” as the psalmist pours out his nine troubles before God. Psalm 102:1-2 says, “Hear my prayer, O LORD, And let my cry come to You. [2] Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble; Incline Your ear to me; In the day that I call, answer me speedily”.

THE NINE TROUBLES OF THE PSALMIST

Psalm 102: 3-11 says,

  1. [verse 3] For my days are consumed like smoke, And my bones are burned like a hearth.

2. [verse 4] My heart is stricken and withered like grass, So that I forget to eat my bread.

3, [verse 5] Because of the sound of my groaning My bones cling to my skin.

4. [verse 6] I am like a pelican of the wilderness; I am like an owl of the desert.

5. [verse 7] I lie awake, And am like a sparrow alone on the housetop.

6. [verse 8] My enemies reproach me all day long; Those who deride me swear an oath against me

7. [verse 9] For I have eaten ashes like bread, And mingled my drink with weeping,

8. [verse 10] Because of Your indignation and Your wrath; For You have lifted me up and cast me away.

9. [verse 11] My days are like a shadow that lengthens, And I wither away like grass.

From the 12th verse, the psalmist shifts attention and begins to speak about God – especially His eternity. He turns from “I, Me, My” to “You”, “He”, and “Your”.

In Psalm 102:12-28, the psalmist says nine things about God:

  1. [12] But You, O LORD, shall endure forever, And the remembrance of Your name to all generations.

2. [13] You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.

3. [14] For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, And show favor to her dust.

4. [15] So the nations shall fear the name of the LORD, And all the kings of the earth Your glory.

5. [16] For the LORD shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory.

6. [17] He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer.

7. [18] This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD. [19] For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; From heaven the LORD viewed the earth, [20] To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To release those appointed to death, [21] To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, And His praise in Jerusalem, [22] When the peoples are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

8. [23] He weakened my strength in the way; He shortened my days. [24] I said, “O my God, Do not take me away in the midst of my days; Your years are throughout all generations. [25] Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. [26] They will perish, but You will endure; Yes, they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will change them, And they will be changed. [27] But You are the same, And Your years will have no end.

9. [28] The children of Your servants will continue, And their descendants will be established before You.”

The utterances in the first eleven verses are a product of pain from darkness. The remaining 17 verses is the result of revelation from light. Darkness leaves me with “I, Me, and My”. The Light points me to Him. Darkness comes with anxiety, fear, and complaining, and depression; but light brings hope; and helps you to see that it’s not as bad or hopeless as it seems.

Day 102 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the 15th week. The Bible has seven divisions applicable to the seven seasons of life. The first 30 books of the Bible are applicable to the first three seasons. The last nine books of the Old Testament are applicable to the fourth season – like this fourth day of the 15th week. The fourth season is the end of the Old Testament of the seven seasons. The 27 books of the New Testament apply to the last three seasons – the New Testament side of the seven seasons. The last nine books of the Old Testament are books of reconstruction from failure. They are light to those in darkness and despair – giving hope and light for the future. They indicate that Day 102 is a day of light shining to keep the darkness of hopelessness and despair away.

Prayer suggestion: Today, Lord, enable me to move my eyes from “I, Me, and My” to “You” alone. For when I look to you, then you lead me to see others. Help me take my attention from temporariness to permanence; from time to eternity, and from mortality to immortality. Lead me back to your Word. Thank you Lord”. Happy 102nd day!

Day 101: The Mystery of April 11

0

Welcome to the 101st day of the year! Day 101 is the third day of the fifteenth week. It is the game-changing day in the week. It is also the third day in the third 49 days of the year. Day 101 is April 11 in a clear year; and April 10 in a leap year. The Bible keys for understanding Day 101 are the third day of creation narrative, Psalm 101, and the third two chapters of the fifteenth book of the Bible.

Day 101 is a third day of creation day. On the third day of creation, God commanded the dry ground to bring forth vegetation. The third season is a season of responsibility. It is a season to take responsibility for spiritual production. God called Moses in the third chapter of Exodus; called Samuel in the third chapter of First Samuel, called John the Baptist and Jesus of Nazareth in the third chapters of Matthew and Luke. God expected Adam and Eve to bring forth fruits of loyalty and commitment to Him in the third chapter of Genesis; but they brought forth rebellion. Day 101 is the game-changing day in the 15th week.

The third season is for decisive actions. On the third day of creation, God set boundaries that cannot be passed for the waters; and made dry ground a stable platform for all kinds of work. God overthrows repressive forces in the third season. When the third king of Israel, Solomon, emerged, he was ruthless with the wicked. He eliminated ambitious and evil men around him. That was a third-season operation.

Day 101 is a Psalm 101 day. Psalm 101 is a psalm of resolves. In Psalm 101, the psalmist takes responsibility for things that needed to be done. Three things stand out this in psalm: responsibility to the Lord, responsibility to self, and responsibility to society. Ten times in this psalm, the phrase, “I will” or “I shall” is used.

1. RESPONSIBILITY TO SING TO THE LORD

Psalm 101:1: says, “I will sing of mercy and justice; To You, O LORD, I will sing praises”. This is a season to act responsibly in matters relating to worshipping God.

2. RESPONSIBILITY TO BEHAVE WISELY AND WALK UPRIGHTLY

Psalm 101:2 says, “I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart”. This is a season to act responsibly regarding my own behavior. It is my choice how I live; so I must take responsibility, before God, how I live.

3. RESPONSIBILITY TO UPROOT THE WICKED AND ESTABLISH THE RIGHTEOUS

Psalm 101:3-8 says, “I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me. [4] A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know wickedness. [5] Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, Him I will destroy; The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, Him I will not endure. [6] My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, That they may dwell with me; He who walks in a perfect way, He shall serve me. [7] He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who tells lies shall not continue in my presence. [8] Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land, That I may cut off all the evildoers from the city of the LORD”.

Today is a day of decisive action. You must take responsibility for how you live with the people around you. You must choose to honor the godly against the wicked. You cannot afford to treat the faithful and unfaithful alike. This is a day to overthrow and to establish.  It is a day to uproot and to plant.

Day 101 is an Ezra 5-6 day in the 15th week. The third two chapters of the fifteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the third day of the fifteenth week. In the two chapter,s, the Jews restarted the work through the encouragement of the prophets Haggai and Zechariah. Their adversaries rose again and petitioned the king against the Jews. To the shame of the adversaries, a royal decree was made that the work should continue without stopping; and that it should be funded from the King’s treasury. That was how the Jews won the last battle against opposition. The adversaries never showed up again because the king decreed they should stay far away from the work. The third season is the game-changing season. It is for taking decisive steps. In the 101st year of the United States (January 8), Indian ‘Crazy Horse’ fought his last battle with the United States Cavalry in the Battle of Wold Mountain. By May 6, 1877, Chief Crazy Horse of the Oglala Sioux surrendered to the US troops in Nebraska because he saw his people were weakened by hunger and cold. Today, may your adversary in the 15th week be weakened to surrender. This is the day of the last battle in the 15th week.

Day 101 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the 15th week. This is a day of prophetic confrontation and judgment. The major prophets – Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, ministered in the third ten books of the Bible.

Day 101 is a day of the voice of God. Receive strength from God’s word. On this day of decisive action, ask the Lord for strength and courage to do the things you should. Overthrow the things that need to be overthrown and plant the things that should be planted.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Happy 101st day!

Day 100: The Mystery of April 10

0

Welcome to Day 100! The 100th day is the second day of the fifteenth week of the year. It is also the second day in the third 49 days of the year. It is a second season day. The Bible keys for understanding the 100th day are the second day of creation narrative, the 100th psalm, and the second chapter of the fifteenth book, Ezra.

Day 100 is a second day of creation day. It is a season God makes a way where there is no way. On the second day of creation, God made the firmament to thwart the monopoly of the waters and make room for other things to exist. Day 100 is for making a way where there is no way.

Day 100 is a Psalm 100 day. The five-verse Psalm 100 gives us a six-point wisdom, or prophetic direction, for the season.

Psalm 100:1-4 says,

1. Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!

2. Serve the LORD with gladness;

3. Come before His presence with singing.

4. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

5. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise.

6. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

God is our Helper in the second season. He must become our focus, as well, in this season – not just for prayers but especially for praises. Psalm 100 shows that the key to open doors in the 100th season is praises.

Day 100 is an Ezra 3-4 day. The second two chapters of the 15th book of the Bible is applicable to the second day of the 15th week. In the third chapter, they rebuilt the altar. In the fourth chapter, opposition began to mount against the work until it stopped by a royal decree. This 100th day, God will make a way for you where there is no way.

Day 100 is First Kings – Proverbs day in the 15th week. The second day of the week is the second day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the second 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the second 10 books of the Bible, God wanted the kings of Israel to trust Him and lead the nation in the same direction. Beginning with Solomon, the kings of Israel began to patronize Idols. Idol worship became official in the northern kingdom following the split. Judah followed. Prophets rose in this season to call the nation back to God. Eventually, the two kingdoms went into captivity – the north fell to Assyria; and the south to the Babylonians. The Jews did return from captivity after 70 years. The last two books in this section of the Bible (Psalms and Proverbs) show that loss of faith in God is prelude to the loss of all things in the second season; but faith in God is the secret of power and strength. The faithful will triumph in the second season by the power and wisdom of God no matter what happens.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, declare that your faith will not fail; and that the faithful will triumph. Decree the downfall of those who disregard God and trust in themselves or idols, Today, prophesy against evil controlling powers and overthrow them by the word of the Lord. Mercy makes a way where there is no way. Today is a day of divine intervention and mercy. Today, release the word of the Lord against oppressive mountains in your life and in your world. Raise a cry to God against the proud and wicked in the land. Today, trust God to make a way where there is no way. Proclaim His word, Pray to Him. Praise Him.! May this 100th day bring you unbelievable open doors. Happy 100th day!

Day 99: The Mystery of April 9

Welcome to Day 99! The 99th day is the first day of the 15th week. It is also the beginning of the third 49 days of the year. The Bible patterns for understanding the 99th day are the first day of creation narrative, the 99th psalm, the first two chapters of the fifteenth book of the Bible, and the first ten books of the Bible.

Day 99 is a first day of creation day in the fifteenth week. On the first day of creation, God began to create by speaking. This is a day of ‘new beginning’ by the word of the Lord. On the first day of creation, God called light into being. Day 99 is a day of light for those sitting in darkness. On the first day of creation, God divided light and darkness and called them day and night. Day 99 is a day of renaming and separation between the new and the old.

Day 99 is a Psalm 99 day. It is the season of the Power and holiness of God. Abraham was 99 years old when God appeared to him as the Almighty God with a charge to walk before Him and be blameless. Four times in this psalm, reference is made to the holiness of God.

Psalm 99 speaks of God as

1. The Sovereign Ruler of the earth whom men must worship and exalt. Psalm 99:1-3 says, “The LORD reigns; Let the peoples tremble! He dwells between the cherubim; Let the earth be moved! [2] The LORD is great in Zion, And He is high above all the peoples. [3] Let them praise Your great and awesome name- He is holy”.

Three times in this psalm, men are called to praise and exalt Him.

Psalm 99:3,5,9 says, “Let them praise Your great and awesome name- He is holy. [5] Exalt the LORD our God, And worship at His footstool- He is holy. [9] Exalt the LORD our God, And worship at His holy hill; For the LORD our God is holy”.

2. Lover of Justice, righteousness, and equity.

Psalm 99:4-5 says, “The King’s strength also loves justice; You have established equity; You have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob. [5] Exalt the LORD our God, And worship at His footstool- He is holy”.

3. The compassionate and merciful God who answers prayers and forgives sins:

Psalm 99:6-9 says, “Moses and Aaron were among His priests, And Samuel was among those who called upon His name; They called upon the LORD, and He answered them. [7] He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar; They kept His testimonies and the ordinance He gave them. [8] You answered them, O LORD our God; You were to them God-Who-Forgives, Though You took vengeance on their deeds. [9] Exalt the LORD our God, And worship at His holy hill; For the LORD our God is holy”.

Day 99 is an Ezra 1-2 day in the fifteenth week. The first two chapters of the fifteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the first day of the fifteenth week. In the first chapter, of Ezra, Cyrus, the king of Persia, gave a written proclamation ending the Babylonian captivity and authorizing the Jews to go and rebuild the temple at Jerusalem. The second chapter is a listing of those who returned to rebuild the temple.

Day 99 is Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 15th week. The first day of the week is the beginning of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the first 10 books of the Bible, God revealed Himself as Creator and Caretaker. He chose those who aligned with His purpose for blessings; and reserved judgment for those who disregard Him. The first 10 books began with the creation and fall of the man in the image and likeness of God; and ended with the emergence of the man after God’s heart sitting on the throne of God’s choice nation. David was absolutely loyal to God. He gave himself for whatever God wanted. This is a day of aligning with God and becoming a man (woman) after His heart. This first day of the 15th week, position yourself to be God’s agent in the week.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy.!

This 99th day is a new beginning. Enter into it by faith. Proclaim it is the beginning of a new season of restoration in your life. Abraham was 99 years old when God changed his name and the name of his wife; told him he would have a son through Sarah, and gave him circumcision as a token of the covenant with him. May this 99th day bring you a life-changing encounter. Happy 99th day.

Day 98: The Mystery of April 8

0

Welcome to the 98th day! The 98th day is the seventh and last day of the 14th week. It is the 49th and last day in the second 49th days or second 7 weeks of the year. It is a core seventh season day – the seventh day of the seventh week in the second 49 days of the year. It is April 8 in a clear year and April 7 in a leap year. The Bible patterns for understanding the 98th day are the seventh day of creation narrative, the 98th psalm, and the last five chapters (32-36) of the fourteenth book of the Bible.

Day 98 is a seventh day of creation day. God did not create anything on the seventh day. He rested on that day. He blessed and hallowed the day because He rested on it. God rested on that day, not because He was tired but, to guide man to declare rest on that day and make it a season of entering, by faith, into ‘the finished work’. This is a season of triumph over distress and unrest. The seventh season is for declaring an end to affliction and struggles. Day 98 is an end-day! It is the results-day of the week. It is a finished-works day.

Day 98 is a Psalm 98 day. Psalm 98 calls us to sing a new song to the Lord for the things He had done (verses 1-3); and to shout for the things He would do (4-9).

Psalm 98:1-9 says,

[1] Oh, sing to the LORD a new song!

1. For He has done marvelous things;

2. His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.

3. [2] The LORD has made known His salvation;

4. His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations.

5. [3] He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;

6. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

This psalm tells us how to package the singing:

1. [4] Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth;

2. Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.

3. [5] Sing to the LORD with the harp, With the harp and the sound of a psalm,

4. [6] With trumpets and the sound of a horn;

5. Shout joyfully before the LORD, the King.

6. [7] Let the sea roar, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell in it;

7. [8] Let the rivers clap their hands;

8. Let the hills be joyful together before the LORD,

We do not only sing to the Lord for what He had done; but also for what He would do. Psalm 98: 9 says, “For He is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness He shall judge the world, And the peoples with equity”. It is by praising God that we activate the judgment of the day.

Day 98 is a Second Chronicles 32-36 day. This 7th part of the 14th book of the Bible is applicable to the 7th day of the 14th week. In the 32nd chapter, Hezekiah came under pressure from the king of Assyria in the 14th year of his reign. The Lord destroyed the proud and boastful king. Hezekiah also had a serious health crisis that was to end his life. God added fifteen years to his life. The death of Hezekiah is recorded in this chapter. In the 33rd chapter, Manasseh, Hezekiah’s son, became king. He was twelve years old when he was made king after his father died. So, Manasseh was born three years after his father’s miraculous recovery from sickness. Manasseh was the worst king Judah had. He was a staunch idol worshipper. God handed him over to Babylonians until he humbled himself before God and returned to the Lord. After his death, his son, Amon became king. He was evil. His servants conspired against him and killed him. The people arrested those who killed him: and executed them. Amon died at 24; after two years of ruling Judah. In the 34th chapter, Josiah the great grandson of Hezekiah, became king. At 16, after he had ruled for eight years, he began to seek God. The ministry of prophet Jeremiah began in the days of king Josiah. King Josiah was a reformer-king. The last revival Judah experienced, before the captivity, took place under Josiah. King Josiah led Judah to keep a memorable Passover in the 35th chapter. There had not been such Passover since the days of Samuel. Josiah died of injuries in an ill-advised battle against the king of Egypt. The 36 chapter is about the last kings of Judah – leading to the captivity. The chapter ended with the proclamation of Cyrus authorizing Jews to go and rebuild the temple of God at Jerusalem. This chapter vindicated Jeremiah’s prophetic ministry. The things he prophesied came to pass. God is faithful. Day 98 is the day of the triumph and vindication of our God and His Word. It is a season of judgment, mercy and turnaround.

Day 98 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 14th week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration. The last book of the Bible is about judgment and restoration. Let judgment come upon the wicked today! Let judgment come upon every expression of Sennacherib in our world today.

Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent, and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Happy 98th day!
