SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY
The Bible patterns for understanding this 184th day are
1. The second day of creation narrative.(Genesis 1: 6 – 8)
2. The second book of the Bible (Exodus)
3. The second chapters of the Bible.
4. Daniel 3- 4 (the second 2 chapters of the 27th book of the Bible).
5. The 37th book of the Bible (Haggai and the 37th chapters of the Bible.
6. The second 10 books of the Bible (1Kings – 2 Proverbs).
Day 184 is a second day of creation day. On the second day of creation, God made the firmament to divide the impassable bloc of waters and create breathing space. The second day is a day of great help. In the second season, God makes a way where there is no way. This second day of the 27th week is for making a way where there is none. This is a day when miracles happen by the wisdom and power of God.
Day 184 is a Daniel chapter 3-4 day. Daniel is the 27th book of the Bible. The second two chapters of the 27th book of the Bible is applicable to the second day of the 27th week of the year. Daniel chapter 3 is a testimony of great deliverance from death and promotion of the humbled and oppressed. In the third chapter of Daniel, the king made a decree that all in his kingdom should bow to the golden image he had made or be cast into an extremely heated furnace of fire. This was an assault on the faith of the Jews. They obeyed God and consequently disobeyed the king. They were thrown into the burning fiery furnace. God made a way in the furnace and delivered them. The fire had no power over them. The king was terrified and ordered that they come out of the fire. That was like rising from the dead. The laws of the land were pushed aside to make way and room for the servants of God and the One they worshipped. Daniel 3 reveals that Day 184 is a day to unveil those who trust in God for elevation. It is a day to overthrow death and the “covering cast over humanity”. In the fourth chapter of Daniel, the king had a dream: “These were the visions of my head while on my bed: I was looking, and behold, A tree in the midst of the earth, And its height was great. The tree grew and became strong; Its height reached to the heavens, And it could be seen to the ends of all the earth. Its leaves were lovely, Its fruit abundant, And in it was food for all. The beasts of the field found shade under it, The birds of the heavens dwelt in its branches, And all flesh was fed from it. “I saw in the visions of my head while on my bed, and there was a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven. He cried aloud and said thus: ‘Chop down the tree and cut off its branches, Strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the beasts get out from under it, And the birds from its branches. Nevertheless leave the stump and roots in the earth, Bound with a band of iron and bronze, In the tender grass of the field. Let it be wet with the dew of heaven, And let him graze with the beasts On the grass of the earth. Let his heart be changed from that of a man, Let him be given the heart of a beast, And let seven times pass over him. This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men” (Daniel 4:10-17).
Daniel interpreted this dream and told the king what to do to avert disaster and stay away from the implications of the dream:
“Therefore, O king, let my advice be acceptable to you; break off your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. Perhaps there may be a lengthening of your prosperity” (Daniel 4:27).
The king did not take Daniel’s advice. His pride and arrogance drove him to insanity and temporary loss of his throne and power.
“All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar. At the end of the twelve months he was walking about the royal palace of Babylon. The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?” While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice fell from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you! And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.” That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws. And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, “What have You done?” At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles resorted to me, I was restored to my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down” (Daniel 4:28-37).
This is the day when the proud overstep their bounds and get caught. Today, may the proud and wicked be humiliated. Today, ask the Lord to help you against walking in pride. O Lord, today, deliver someone from stubbornness and pride. Humiliate the arrogant that would not listen to good advice.
Day 184 is a book of Haggai day. Haggai is the 37th book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 37th day in the fourth 7 weeks of the year. The story of the book of Haggai should be placed between Ezra 4 and 5. The book is about how the people of God suffered hardship after they listened to the authorities and stopped the building of the temple authorised by King Cyrus. By the help of the prophets, Haggai and Zechariah, the people went back to work on the temple and God blessed them. The House of God or the expression of it is very essential in the 37th season because that is where prayers go up and answers come down. Heaven descends on obstructive earthly forces in the 37th season – to make a way where there is no way.
Day 184 is a 37th chapters of the Bible day in the Fourth Seven Weeks of the Year. The 37th chapters of the Bible are applicable to this 37th day in the fourth seven weeks. Today, trust God to make a way for you where there is no way. Trust Him to see you through difficult paths. In Isaiah 37, He made a way for Hezekiah and Judah against Sennacherib king of Assyria. In Genesis 37, He made a way for Joseph to escape death. In Ezekiel 37, He made a way for dry bones to resurrect and become a mighty army in Ezekiel’s vision. In Jeremiah 37, God made a way for Jeremiah to come out of prison. Psalm 37 is a testimony that God protects and delivers the righteous. Psalm 37:25-26 says, “I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. [26] He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed”.
Day 184 is a First Kings – Proverbs Day in the 27th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The second day of the week is the second day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the second 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the second 10 books of the Bible, God wanted the king’s of Israel to trust Him and lead the nation in the same direction. Beginning with Solomon, the kings of Israel began to patronize Idols. Idol worship became official in the northern kingdom following the split. Judah followed. Prophets rose in this season to call the nation back to God. Eventually, the two kingdom went into captivity – the north fell to Assyria ‘s; and the south to the Babylonians. The Jews did return from captivity after 70 years. The last two books in this section of the Bible (Psalms and Proverbs) show that loss of faith in God is prelude to the loss of all things; but faith in God is the secret of power and strength. The faithful will triumph no matter what happens.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, declare that your faith will not fail; and that the faithful will triumph. Decree the downfall of those who disregard God and trust in themselves or idols, Today, prophesy and overthrow evil controlling powers by the word of the Lord. Mercy makes a way where there is no way. Today is a day of divine intervention and mercy. Death comes in the 37th season. If none is found standing in the gap, it would have its way; but, God has intervened. Today, release the word of the Lord against oppressive mountains in your life and in your world. Raise a cry to God against the proud and wicked in the land. Today, trust God to make a way where there is no way. Proclaim His word, Pray to Him. Praise Him! Happy 184th day.
