Day 149: The Mystery of May 29

0

Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY

Today Is

1. May 29 (Clear year); May 28 (Leap year).

2. The second Day of the 22nd Week (May 28 – June 3 in a Clear year/ May 27 – June 2 in a Leap year)

3. The second Day in fourth 7 Weeks of the year. (May 28 July 15).

4. The 149th day of the year (from January 1). In this post, this day will be called Day 149.

5. A secondt-season day because it is the second day of the 22nd week of the year.

FIVE BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

There are five basic biblical patterns for this day:

1. The second day of creation (Genesis 1:6-8)

2. Psalm 149

3. Songs of Solomon 3

4. The second book of the Bible (Exodus)

5. The second 10 books of the Bible.

1. Day 149 is a second day of creation season. On the second day of creation, God made the firmament to divide the bloc of waters that filled everywhere. The second season is for releasing force and power against oppressive monopolies and road-blocks. When God’s people praise Him, it is like releasing the firmament against the block of waters on the second day of creation. Praise is the firmament of the 149th season.

2. Day 149 is a Book of Exodus day in the fourth seven weeks of the year. Exodus is the second book of the Bible and is guiding light for the second day in fourth 7 weeks of the year. The second book of the Bible is about Israel’s deliverance from bondage and covenant with God. Day 149 isa day of freedom from oppression. It is for breaking the backbone of the wicked. It is also a day to show commitment to God in response to His goodness.

3. Day 149 is a Psalm 149 season. Whereas Psalm 148 is a call to heaven and earth and sea to praise God, Psalm 149 is a call to the saints, God’s people, to praise Him.

Psalm 149:1-9 says,

[1] Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints.

[2] Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

[3] Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. [4] For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.

[5] Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.

[6] Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, [7] To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; [8] To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; [9] To execute on them the written judgment- This honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!

Today, decree that God’s people awaken to praising Him (not themselves or the devil); and that they execute judgments with praise.

4. Day 149 is a Song of Songs chapter 3 season. The third chapter of the 22nd book of the Bible is applicable to the second day of the 22nd week. This chapter reveals that the 149th season is a time to search and find. In this chapter, the Shulamite sought her beloved at night but did not find him. She sought help from the watchmen but they had no help. After leaving the watchmen, she found her beloved and took him home to her mother’s tent. In this season, as you go out in search of what you desire, I pray you would find it. Let this day and season be a time to celebrate God for answers to praye

5. This is a First Kings – to – Proverbs Day in the week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The second day of the week is the second day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the second 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the second 10 books of the Bible, God wanted the kings of Israel to trust Him and lead the nation in the same direction. Beginning with Solomon, the kings of Israel began to patronize Idols. Idol worship became official in the northern kingdom following the split. Judah followed. Prophets rose in this season to call the nation back to God. Eventually, the two kingdoms went into captivity – the north fell to Assyria; and the south to the Babylonians. The Jews did return from captivity after 70 years. The last two books in this section of the Bible (Psalms and Proverbs) show that loss of faith in God is prelude to the loss of all things in the second season; but faith in God is the secret of power and strength. The faithful will triumph in the second season by the power and wisdom of God no matter what happens.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, declare that your faith will not fail; and that the faithful will triumph. Decree the downfall of those who disregard God and trust in themselves or idols, Today, prophesy against evil controlling powers and overthrow them by the word of the Lord. Mercy makes a way where there is no way. Today is a day of divine intervention and mercy. Today, release the word of the Lord against oppressive mountains in your life and in your world. Raise a cry to God against the proud and wicked in the land. Today, trust God to make a way where there is no way. Proclaim His word, Pray to Him. Praise Him.

Happy 149th day!
