Day 127: The Mystery of May 7

0

Welcome to the 127th day of the year! Day 127 is the beginning of the nineteenth week. It is the 29th day in the third 49 days. Day 127 is a first season day. It is the first day of the fifth week in the third 49 days. The things that pertain to the first and fifth seasons apply to the 127th day. The key Bible patterns for understanding Day 127 are the first day of creation narrative, the 29th book of the Bible (Joel), Psalm 127, and the first 21 chapters of the nineteenth book of the Bible.

Day 127 is a first day of creation day in the 19th week. On the first day of creation, God released His power against darkness. This is that day when the light of Heaven rises against the darkness of the earth. This is that day when God dismantles what He did not institute. This is Light’s day of war against darkness. God is first and the first belongs to Him. He must have first place today. He shows His sovereignty wherever Hie is robbed of, or denied, first place. Those who give the place of Light to darkness in this season seek disaster and devastation.

Day 127 is a Book of Joel day in the third 49 days of the year. Joel is the 29th book of the Bible and is applicable to the 29th day in the third 49 days. The book of Joel is a call to repent and recover from devastations. The disasters happened as a result of turning from God; and Joel calls the people to seek God for mercy and intervention. God’s response in the book is the promise of restoration. Joel 2:25-27 says, “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. [26] You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. [27] Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.

Day 127 is a 29th chapters of the Bible day. It is season of fruitfulness and recompense. Jacob married, and had his first four sons, in Genesis 29. He conquered Barrenness in the 29th season. It is a season of fruitfulness. Genesis 29 is the beginning of the fifth seven chapters (29-35) of Genesis. In Genesis 29, also,Jacob tasted the bitter pill of being cheated. In the previous chapter, he cheated on his brother and seemed to have got away with it.  In this chapter, his his uncle, Laban, tricked him into marrying Leah, his first daughter, instead the Rachael he wanted. He eventually married two women in this chapter. The 29th season is pay-back season.

Day 127 is a Psalm 1-22 day in the 19th week. The first 22 chapters of the nineteenth book of the Bible is the first of the seven divisions of the 150-chapter book; and is applicable to the first day of the 19th week of the year. In the first 22 psalms, the Psalmist cried out to God against wickedness and the wicked. He cried out against distress and was heard. That is the cry for light to rise against darkness. It is the cry of one overshadowed by darkness. Psalm 21 is a testimony that God hears and answers prayers.

Day 127 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 19th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. The first four days of the week is like a journey through the Old Testament. The last three days of the week is like a journey through the New Testament. The first day of the week expresses the first ten books of the Bible. In those ten books, the Creator revealed Himself and sought a nation, a people, and a man through whom He would express Himself. He walked with Adam, Abel, Seth, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, the Judges, and Samuel. David emerged as king in the 10th book of the Bible. This 127th day, God seeks to express Himself through you. Will you be His channel of Light into the world around you?

Day 127 is a Psalm 127 day. As a first season day, and as the beginning of the week, God must be first and ahead. That is the reason Psalm 127:1-2 says, “Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in VAIN who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in VAIN. It is VAIN for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep”. Without God in the first season, all labor is in vain.

In the nineteenth season, things that God had no hand in building just crumble. Things that men labor to build, without God, cannot survive the nineteenth season. The nineteenth season is when heaven reveals that building without God is a waste of time, energy, and resources. Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed in Genesis 19. In Acts 19, Diana of Ephesus was shaken, unsaved exorcists were disgraced, and idol worshippers surrendered their occult books for burning. In Revelation 19, the dragon, the beast and false prophet lost ground.  Human strength is weakness in the nineteenth season.

As a part of a fifth week or season, Day 127 is a season of fruitfulness. God blessed creation, for the first time on the fifth day.  He blessed the creatures of the fifth day with fruitfulness. God blesses with fruitfulness and multiplication in the fifth season. That is the reason Psalm 127 3-5 says, “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate”.

Today, put God ahead of needs, labors, efforts, interests, desires, or fears. “Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain”. As you give first place to God in all things, today, expect His blessings of fruitfulness and multiplication. May the Lord keep you away from the disasters and disappointments of the 29th season.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy. Happy 127th day!
