Day 124: The Mystery of May 4

0

Welcome to the 124th day of the year! Day 124 is the fifth day of the eighteenth week; or the fifth day of the fourth week in the third 49 days; or the 26th day in the third 49 days. It is a fifth season day. Day 124 is May 4 in a clear year; and May 3 in a leap year. The Bible keys for understanding Day 124 are the fifth day of creation narrative, Psalm 124, and fifth six chapters (25-30) of the eighteenth book of the Bible.

Day 124 is a fifth day of creation day in the 18th week. The fifth day of creation was a day of new things: moving creatures, flesh and blood creatures, voice sounds and balance. The fifth day was the beginning of blessings. There was no blessing until the fifth day. The fifth is a season of enjoyment. It is a season of celebration. It is a season of freedom and deliverances. It is the end of battles. It is intended to be a season of peace and prosperity. On the first day of creation, God fought darkness with light. On the second day, He fought the waters with the firmament. On the third day He completed the battle against the waters; and furnished the earth with vegetation. On the fourth day, He consolidated the victory of light over darkness. On the fifth day, He furnished the waters and the air-space with moving living creatures. Day 124 is a day of escape from death. It is a day to celebrate life and the Giver of life. It is a day of enjoying and expressing life.

Day 124 is a Job 25-30 in the 18th week. The fifth six chapters of the eighteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the fifth day of the eighteenth week of the year. In Job 25, Bildad made his last attempt to condemn Job. The servant of God broke free from his friends and spoke freely, in the 26th, 27th and 28th chapters, of the loftiness of God and his helplessness of his condition. Today is a day of freedom. In the 29th and 30th chapters, Job spoke of his prominence and generosity in the past and the reproach of his plight. The interference of Job’s friends ended in this section. Day 124 is a day of freedom and life.

Day 124 is a Matthew – Galatians day in the 18th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible; and has both Old Testament and New Testament sides. The first four days of the week belongs to the Old Testament side of the week. The last three days of the week constitute the New Testament side. The first 9 books of the New Testament are about the life and ministry of Jesus (the Word), the Holy Spirit, and the Church (the temple and city of God). Day 124 is for a change of narrative. It is a day of gracious miraculous interventions – salvation, deliverance, healing, provision, and preservation. It is a day of fulfilling prophecies and promises belonging to the week.

Day 124 is a book of Ezekiel day in the third 49 days. Ezekiel is the 26th book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 26th day in the third 49 days of the year. Ezekiel is about life and power through the word and Spirit of God. It is also about the New Temple and city of God. Ezekiel the prophet was in constant touch with Heaven – living in the spirit, seeing visions, receiving the word, and doing the will of God by the Spirit of God. Day 124 is a day of doing exploits by the Word and the Spirit. Ezekiel enjoyed freedom of movement in the spirit. He was not limited by time and space. By the Spirit, he could be wherever the Lord wanted him to be at any time.

Day 124 is a Psalm 124 day. This psalm is the fifth of the 18th seven psalms (120-126). It is a psalm of testimony about God’s intervention and deliverance. This psalm is not a prayer but a testimony. The psalmist testified that if God had not showed up when the enemies attacked, it would have been disastrous. This is a psalm of terrible things that could have happened but did not happen because of the presence of God.

Psalm 124:1-5 says, “If it HAD not been the LORD who WAS on our side,” Let Israel now say- [2] “If it HAD not been the LORD who WAS on our side, When men ROSE up against us, [3] Then they WOULD have swallowed us alive, WHEN THEIR wrath WAS kindled against us; [4] Then the waters WOULD HAVE overwhelmed us, The stream WOULD have gone over our soul; [5] Then the swollen waters WOULD HAVE gone over our soul.”

THE RESULT OF DIVINE INTERVENTION

Psalm 124:6-8

1. [6] Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.

2. [7] Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped.

3. [8] Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

DECREE AND DECLARE: At creation, God spoke His will into each day. He made us in His image and likeness; and expects us to release His will into each day. Decree this day that the flesh will not overtake the spirit in your life, family,, organization, and nation. Decree a change in the week and declare that today is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week. As a Book-of-Matthew day, decree that Emmanuel (God is with us) takes over. As a New Testament type day, decree that the love of God will overtake human error and failure. Today, submit to the spirit against the flesh. Walk in the spirit and make no room for the flesh. The fifth season is a season of giving spiritual interpretations to earthly manifestations. Today, make it your watchword to walk in the spirit and obey God’s Word. Walking in the spirit is the key to gaining all. Birds (representing the spirit) fly above and eat from the land, the sea, and the air. Today, cry out to God against oppression and for the pains in your life. Speak out also. Trust Him to intervene in your affairs and in the affairs of people around you. Determine to make a next-level move. It’s time to shift base in the spirit! Today, put yourself on the side of blessing by choosing obedience instead of curses by choosing disobedience.

TODAY, reflect on God’s interventions and deliverances; and celebrate His goodness – in healing, provision, protection,  preservation, and vindication. The fifth season is a time to celebrate the blessing and generosity of God. Enjoy freedom today. Happy 124th day!
