Welcome to the 122nd day of the year! Day 122 is the third day of the 18th week or the third day of the fourth week in the third 49 days, or the 24th day in the third 49 days. Day 122 is a third season day. The key Bible patterns for understanding this day are the second day of creation narrative, the 121st psalm, and the third six chapters (13-18) of the eighteenth book of the Bible.
Day 122 is a third day of creation day in the 18th week. On the third day of creation, God delivered and manifested the earth from the dominion of the waters. He removed the waters from sitting over the earth and set boundaries for it. He also commanded the dry ground to bring forth life in form of vegetation. Day 122 is a day of liberation. It is a day of drawing life out of death; of drawing freshness out of dryness. It is day of deliverance, manifestation, and productivity. On the third day of creation, God revealed the earth to be a sustaining platform – a place to stand upon. Day 122 is a solid-platform-day. This day, the Lord will give you a place to stand.
Day 122 is a Job 13-18 day in the 18th week. The third sixth chapters of the eighteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the third day of the eighteenth week of the year. This section of Job is is filled with words of ‘death and dying’. Job opened this section in the thirteenth and fourteenth chapters. Job 14:7-12,14 says, “For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. [8] Though its root may grow old in the earth, And its stump may die in the ground, [9] Yet at the scent of water it will bud And bring forth branches like a plant. [10] But man dies and is laid away; Indeed he breathes his last And where is he? [11] As water disappears from the sea, And a river becomes parched and dries up, [12] So man lies down and does not rise. Till the heavens are no more, They will not awake Nor be roused from their sleep. [14] If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes”. Eliphaz answered him in the fifteenth chapter. Job spoke again in the sixteenth and seventeenth chapters. Bildad returned in the 18th chapter. All are words of hopeless. Day 122 is not a day of despair but of hope. It is a day to be glad for what is ahead.
Day 122 is Ecclesiastes – Amos day in the 18th week. Going through any week is like going the Bible. The third day of the week expresses the third 10 books of the Bible. The third ten books of the Bible include the prophetic books. They indicate that Day 122 is for receiving and declaring the word of the Lord.
Day 122 is a book of Jeremiah day in the third 49 days of the year. Jeremiah is the 24th book of the Bible and is applicable to the 24th day in the third 49 days. Jeremiah is a book of overthrows and establishment. The prophet was called by God to bring down some nations and raise others. He prophesied the fall of Judah and other kingdoms and of the rising and falling of Babylon. Day 122 is a day to heed God’s call to overthrow and plant by the word of the Lord.
Day 122 is a Psalm 122 day. This psalm speaks of standing within the gates of Jerusalem. This is a third season psalm. This psalm is divided into three sections.
The first is about the psalmist’s feeling when he was called to go the house of the Lord. “I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” [2] Our feet have been standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem!”
The second is the description of Jerusalem.
– “Jerusalem is built As a city that is compact together,
– Where the tribes go up, The tribes of the LORD, To the Testimony of Israel, To give thanks to the name of the LORD.
– For thrones are set there for judgment, The thrones of the house of David.”
The third is the call to pray for Jerusalem.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek your good.”
Psalm 122 is a psalm of revival. It’s a psalm of returning to the ground of the temple and the throne. This third of the 18th seven psalms could be applied to the third fourteen years of the eighteenth century (1729-1742). This was the season of the emergence of Jonathan Edwards, the first Moravian missionaries, George Whitfield, John and Charles Wesley, and the Great Awakening. Those were the voices saying to their generation, “Let us go to the house of the Lord”. The House of the Lord (the place of His presence) is a solid platform.
The eighteenth season is a season of revival. The house of God (the place of prayer) is key in the eighteenth season.
Day 122 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the 18th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The third day of the week is the third day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the third 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the third 10 books of the Bible, God sent His prophets to speak to the people. They confronted the people, warned them against judgment, comforted the faithful, and brought judgment on the arrogant. The third day is for the overthrow of the rebellious and establishment of the humble and just. How you fare in this season depends on your attitude and response to the word of God. This is a day of prophetic confrontation and judgment.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. This is a day of manifestation. Do not be afraid to take a stand for the Lord. It is a season to come out of hiding and obscurity. It is a day to overthrow oppression and the oppressor. It is a day to establish the humble. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, be ready to hear His voice and respond by faith. Expect breakthrough. Be willing to sacrifice. Walk by faith! This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the week. This is a day of unveiling. It is a day of answers to prayers. Today, pray for the overthrow of dysfunctional systems in the nations and in the church. Pray that God will make a way for the manifestation of hidden platforms and producers. Pray also that the forgotten functional people and things be remembered, recognized, and restored. Today, remember that when God delivers and manifests, it is for service and production. Do not consume His mercy on your lust. On this third day of the week, the oppressor will go down and the humble shall be delivered. Today, may your heart be healed of despair. May it rather be filled with hope and joy. Happy Day 122!
