Welcome to Day 104! The 104th day is the sixth day of the fifteenth week. It is the sixth day of the first week in the third seven weeks of the year. It is the sixth day of the third 49 days. Day 104 is a sixth season day. It is April 14 in a clear year; and April 13 in a leap year. The Bible keys for understanding Day 104 are the sixth day of creation narrative, the 104th psalm, and the sixth chapter of the fifteenth book of the Bible.
Day 104 is a sixth day of creation day. On the sixth day, God ended and perfected the creation of flesh. It was on the sixth day He created Man and Land animals. God made man in His image after His likeness; and communicated with man on this day about food and provisions. His blessed man with fruitfulness and multiplication; and charged Him with the governance of the earth. In the sixth season, God seeks the recovery of His image on earth. He overthrows things that do not bear His semblance and exalts His image. Sovereignty, He bestows or takes away inheritance; He raises kings and brings down kings. In the sixth season, God acts like the Owner of the earth He is. He manifests Himself as Sovereign Lord over the affairs of men in the sixth season. God is a Giver in the sixth season. He gives food, lands, and thrones. In the sixth season, man is to be filled with God’s Spirit, and be preoccupied with God; because expressing God is the reason for the existence of man. As God made man in His image on the sixth day, the evil one seeks the manifestation of his own image in sixth seasons like Day 104.
Day 104 is an Ezra chapter six day, The sixth chapter of the fifteenth book is applicable to the sixth day of the fifteenth week. In the sixth chapter of Ezra, following a search of the archives, King Darius issued a decree authorizing the Jews to continue with the rebuilding of the temple without opposition or interference. It was to be rebuilt at the expense of the Persian Kingdom. The House was completed and dedicated. The people kept the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This is a testimonial of God’s power to help those who trust in Him; “for the LORD made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel” (Ezra 6:22).
Day 104 is a Psalm 104 day. Psalm 104 is about the Lord and His works. This psalm exalts the Lord and His manifold works. Psalm 104 is a chronicle of creation – from light to the firmament; from the dry ground and vegetation to the luminaries; from the sea and land creatures and to man, the image and likeness of God.
FIRST DAY: LET THERE BE LIGHT
“Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, [2] Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment,
When God said, “Let there be light”, He manifested Himself – covering Himself with light “as with a garment”. God is Light and there is no darkness in Him.
DAY TWO: LET THERE A FIRMAMENT
“Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain. [3] He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind, [4] Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.
DAY THREE: “LET THE WATERS BE GATHERED TOGETHER
[5] You who laid the foundations of the earth, So that it should not be moved forever, [6] You covered it with the deep as with a garment; The waters stood above the mountains. [7] At Your rebuke they fled; At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away. [8] They went up over the mountains; They went down into the valleys, To the place which You founded for them. [9] You have set a boundary that they may not pass over, That they may not return to cover the earth. [10] He sends the springs into the valleys; They flow among the hills. [11] They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild donkeys quench their thirst. [12] By them the birds of the heavens have their home; They sing among the branches. [13] He waters the hills from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. [14] He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the service of man, That he may bring forth food from the earth, [15] And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man’s heart. [16] The trees of the LORD are full of sap, The cedars of Lebanon which He planted, [17] Where the birds make their nests; The stork has her home in the fir trees. [18] The high hills are for the wild goats; The cliffs are a refuge for the rock badgers.
DAY FOUR: LET THERE BE LIGHTS IN THE FIRMAMENT
[19] He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down. [20] You make darkness, and it is night, In which all the beasts of the forest creep about. [21] The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God. [22] When the sun rises, they gather together And lie down in their dens. [23] Man goes out to his work And to his labor until the evening. [24] O LORD, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions-
DAY FIVE: LET THE WATERS ABOUND WITH LIVING CREATURES
[25] This great and wide sea, In which are innumerable teeming things, Living things both small and great. [26] There the ships sail about; There is that Leviathan Which You have made to play there. [27] These all wait for You, That You may give them their food in due season. [28] What You give them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good. [29] You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
DAY SIX: LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE
[30] You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth. [31] May the glory of the LORD endure forever; May the LORD rejoice in His works. [32] He looks on the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hills, and they smoke. [33] I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. [34] May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the LORD. [35] May sinners be consumed from the earth, And the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul! Praise the LORD!”
Day 104 is for preoccupation with the good and great works of God as in Psalm 104. On the other hand, the evil one wants to keep people’s thoughts and minds on his evil and wicked works. The Titanic, the largest ocean liner of the time, got into trouble at sea on its maiden voyage on April 14 and finally sank in April 15 – in the 15th week of the year. About 1500 lives were lost. In 1865, wicked me plotted to the 16th President of the United States, the Vice President, and the Secretary of State. They shot the President, Abraham Lincoln. In 2014, Boko Haram abducted 276 school girls in North-east Nigeria and suicide-bombed a bus station in Nyanya, Abuja. In 2022, at least 35 people were killed and 71 injured when a bus carrying 106 Easter worshippers crashed into a ravine in eastern Zimbabwe about 10 p.m. local time. The bus reportedly was carrying 106 passengers of the Zion Christian Church to an Easter pilgrimage. This is a day to pray against the wicked, wickedness, and evil works. Today, let your life (thoughts, words, and works, express and magnify God. You were made to express Him! This day is for declaring His works.
Today is Ephesians – Philemon day in the 15th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. This sixth day of the week is the second day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the second nine books of the New Testament. Today is a day to triumph in warfare through instructions. The second 9 books of the N.T are mentoring books. The pastoral epistles of Paul are in this section. This section of the Bible is for “the preparation of the man of God”. This is a day to guided into peace and away from evil. Take divine guidance seriously.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. Today, show that your primary allegiance is to the God of Israel. You are made in the image and likeness of God. This is a day to commemorate and relive the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. Today, make your way back to the Lord. Even if you are not a backslider, you can still get closer to the goal of expressing the Lord – as His image and likeness. Today, stand out for God as His representative and look into your life, and look around, for things and areas that need to be conformed to God’s standards. Today, pray that the kingdom comes, by the word of God, to establish God’s will in your life, family, church, community, nation; and in the nations of the world. Have a happy and tremendously fruitful 104th day of the year!
