Day 225: The Mystery of August 13

0

Welcome to the 225th day of the year. Day 225 is the first day of the 33rd week; the first day of the 5th week in the fifth 49 days; the 29th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. It is August 13 in a clear year and August 12 in a leap year. The basic Bible patterns for understanding Day 225 are

The first day of creation narrative.

The first chapter of the 33rd book of the Bible

The 29th book of the Bible.

Day 225 is a first day of creation day. This is a day of war to overthrow darkness. On the first day of creation, God battled darkness with light when He said, “Let there be light”. As a first-season day, Day 225 is a day to overthrow darkness in individuals, families, and nations. It is a day to keep darkness from holding sway by introducing alternatives. In the book of Genesis God fought humanity corrupted by darkness, with flood; fought Babel with confused language, and fought Sodom with fire. In Seth, Enoch, Noah, and Abraham, He said, “Let there be light”. Abraham was God’s light that came out of the darkness of the first book of the Bible. The way to overthrow darkness is to give God’s word it’s place in our lives. Gods Word is light as He is Light. If you switch to God, through obedience, prayer, Word-based proclamations, the Light will come. Without God, all you have is darkness. Today, do not cooperate with, or give in to darkness in any way. This is a day when light must prevail for those who fear God; those who love Him and trust in Him. It is a day to judge darkness.

Day 225 is a Micah chapter 1 day. Micah is the 33rd book of the Bible. The first chapter of the 33rd book of the Bible is applicable to the first day of the 33rd week. In the first chapter of Micah, the prophet declares God’s intention to judge His people because of their collaboration with darkness. Micah 1:2-7 says, “Hear, all you peoples! Listen, O earth, and all that is in it! Let the Lord GOD be a witness against you, The Lord from His holy temple. For behold, the LORD is coming out of His place; He will come down And tread on the high places of the earth. The mountains will melt under Him, And the valleys will split Like wax before the fire, Like waters poured down a steep place. All this is for the transgression of Jacob And for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem? “Therefore I will make Samaria a heap of ruins in the field, Places for planting a vineyard; I will pour down her stones into the valley, And I will uncover her foundations. All her carved images shall be beaten to pieces, And all her pay as a harlot shall be burned with the fire; All her idols I will lay desolate, For she gathered it from the pay of a harlot, And they shall return to the pay of a harlot.” Do not get on God’s way today.

Day 225 is a book of Joel day. As in the 29th book of the Bible, Joel, we need to seek the Lord, as in a solemn assembly, against disasters. God is first; and the first belongs to Him. Every first season is for seeking alignment with Him. Most disasters, except in the case of satanic attacks, are results of being out of alignment with God. The first day of the fifth week is for lining up with God (through repentance, prayer, humility, fasting, obedience) to ensure blessings instead of curses or disasters.

Joel 2:12-19 says, “Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” [13] So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. [14] Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him- A grain offering and a drink offering For the LORD your God? [15] Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; [16] Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room. [17] Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O LORD, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?'” [18] Then the LORD will be zealous for His land, And pity His people. [19] The LORD will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.

Day 225 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 33rd week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The first day of the week is the beginning of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the first 10 books of the Bible, God revealed Himself as Creator and Caretaker. He chose those who aligned with His purpose for blessings; and reserved judgment for those who disregard Him. The first 10 books began with the creation and fall of the man in the image and likeness of God; and ended with the emergence of the man after God’s heart sitting on the throne of God’s choice nation. David was absolutely loyal to God. He gave himself for whatever God wanted. This is a day of aligning with God and becoming a man (woman) after His heart.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His willon seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your  life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the 33rd week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Although the 29th season is a time of pressures, your loyalty to God and people must shine forth. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week. Call upon Him for mercy. Happy 225th Day!

BORN ON THIS DAY? You were born in this season for a reason. The day of your birth is an announcement concerning your identity and purpose.

Day 224: The Mystery of August 12

0

Welcome to the 224th day of the year. Day 224 is the seventh and last day of the 32nd week; the seventh day of the fourth week in the fifth 49 days; the 28th day in the fifth 49 days. Day 224 is a seventh season day. Day 224 in a August 12 in a Clear Year and August 11 in a leap year. The basic Bible patterns for understanding Day 224 are

The seventh day of creation narrative

The 7th book and chapters of the Bible

The 28th book of the Bible

The 7th and last section of the book of Jonah

Day 224 is a 7th day of creation day. God ended His work on the seventh day and rested; then He blessed and sanctified the 7th day because He rested on it. So, in the mind of God, the seventh day is a day to end toils; and enter into rest experientially. God does not want it to be a day of distress or unrest. It is a holy season of blessings. It is a season to pursue God’s pleasure rather than seeking self gratification. The seventh book and chapters of the Bible reveal that distress in the seventh season is the result of turning away from God. Today is a day to end toiling and enter into the rest of God by pursuing His pleasure.

Day 224 is a Jonah chapter 4:6-11 day. Jonah is the 32nd book of the Bible; and the seventh section of the book is applicable to the seventh day of the 32nd week. In the fourth chapter of Jonah, the prophet had ended his assignment in Nineveh but he had no rest. He was not concerned about God’s pleasure but about his own preference and pleasure. Firstly, he was upset and angry that God forgave Nineveh; instead of destroying the city and the people because of their wickedness. In the seventh season, our joy should come from knowing that the will of God had been done – even if the season did not give us everything we desired. Jonah should have rejoiced that God was pleased with his obedience and Nineveh’s repentance. He did not. He withdrew to corner of the city, built a shanty for him to wait and watch if God would judge Nineveh. Jonah’s anger did not make sense to God. The Creator chose to teach Jonah a lesson without words. After Jonah’s shelter proved to be an insufficient covering from heat, God made a plant grow over Jonah’s to give him a shade. The prophet was happy for the shade but the Lord gave it to worms; and by the following day, they damaged the plant and it withered. Then the sun rose, and Jonah had no protection from heat anymore. The sun came down on him and he became dehydrated and weak. Jonah complained that the shading plant died and wished to die. The situation exposed his lack of sensitivity and understanding. Jonah 4:10-11 says, “But the LORD said, “You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left-and much livestock?” Seeking your own interest in the seventh season will blur your vision from seeking or focusing on God’s pleasure in the season. This is a day to rejoice in the Lord’s pleasure.

Day 224 is a book of Hosea day. Hosea is the 28th book of the Bible and is applicable to the 28th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. The book of Hosea is a seventh-season book. In the book of Hosea, God joined a man committed to the pursuit of His will with a woman bent on pursuing her own pleasure. Hosea gave up his own interest and preference to do the will of God. The pursuit of divine pleasure made him marry a harlot that was sold to her own pleasures. God told the prophet to marry, love, raise children from, and stay faithful to, an unfaithful woman. God used Hosea’s marriage to illustrate the relationship between the Faithful God and unfaithful Israel. In this book, God returned to a people He had disowned. Unlike Jonah, Hosea sacrificed his pleasure to give pleasure to God. Day 224 is a day to honor God with all of your life. It is a day to sacrifice your pleasure for God’s pleasure; so that in His pleasure, you would find your own pleasure.

Day 224 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 32nd week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. Day 224 is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the 32nd week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. Seek intervention and be ready to intervene where necessary and possible. Today, reach out to stand in the gap for people. Also prophesy against walls and forces that stand against the counsel of God in the land and in the lives of people. May this last day of the week be the end of the week’s toil. May it be a blessed day of rest for you. Today, may the Lord be glorified in the eyes and hearts of those who know Him. Today, give it all up for God. Be willing to sacrifice your interests, preference, and pleasures, to please God and bless humanity. Happy 224th day!

On this day in 2020, the Prime Minister of Lebanon and his Cabinet stepped down in the interest of peace in Beirut following angry protests over the August 4 explosion that claimed over 220 lives, injured 7000, and rendered 300, 000 homeless.

The Mystery of Nigeria’s 16th Leader

5

The timing of the emergence of a leader is key to understanding, from the Bible, the reason the leader came to power, the challenges the leader will face, and the way the leader should operate. The 16th National Leader would be coming to do ’16th season things’ in Nigeria. That leader will also face 16th season challenges. A new season is coming upon us in Nigeria; and we all need to know how to handle it.

The emergence of a new leader is the arrival of a new season. The Bible reveals that the major reason kings and thrones prosper is alignment with God – even if the kings do not know God. President Muhammadu Buhari is Nigeria’s 15th national leader. He had served as the nation’s seventh national leader (military head of state) in fourth seven years of Nigeria. God raised him first to serve as Nigeria’s 7th national leader; and expected him to work like the judges in the 7th book of the Bible; and deliver Nigeria from her oppressors. In trying to deliver Nigeria from oppression, his regime became oppressive. About 20 months in office, Heaven removed the covering over his administration and he was overthrown. The Lord gave him another  opportunity and made him the 15th national leader; and the fourth president in the fourth republic God expected him to serve like King Cyrus in the 15th book of the Bible by ending ethno-religious oppression in Nigeria – as Cyrus ended Babylonian captivity for the Jews. His administration was to express the 15th book and chapters of the Bible for the good of Nigeria. However, the oppressed in Nigeria seem to have experienced more oppression in his season. Like King Saul, who was assigned to destroy Amalek but spared Agag, the king, of Amalek, Nigerians have accused the administration of being selective and biased in the war against corruption and terrorism. Losing his trusted men is not a blessing to his administration or to Nigeria.

As we think about the leadership change that should happen in 2023, some Nigerians are just waiting for 2023 as if the year is going to perform some magic that will solve Nigeria’s problems. Others are wrongly consumed with anxiety about which political party or geopolitical zone is going to produce the next president. I think we should be more concerned about what Nigerians would be experiencing when the 16th leader shows up. That will help us to make choices – if Heaven permits. First Chronicles 12:32 puts ‘understanding the time’ ahead of ‘knowing what Israel ought to do’. Our choices and decisions must be based on our knowledge of the 16th gate of time.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE SEASON OF THE 16TH NATIONAL LEADER

Why is it important to write about the season of Nigeria’s 16th National Leader? There are five reasons I am writing about this:

1. Nigeria’s next major step would be embracing the 16th national leader (President Buhari’s successor). What will Nigeria be embracing in that leader – righteousness or wickedness?

2. If only Nigerians knew, before 2015, what the season of the 15th national  leader, would look like, we could have all braced up and prepared for it. Now, God wants us to know what the season of the 16th national leader holds.

3. The 16th National Leader may need this kind of prophetic light to stay focused and safe. It is dangerous to be ignorant of the gate of time you express; or are going through.

4. The 16th NL will be an answer to current prayers. That leader will be ‘a new thing’ coming into governance in Nigerian. Nigerians are heading to a major change and need to prepare.

5. The 16th book and chapters of the Bible indicate that the 16th season is a new beginning. It’s always a break and a leap from the 15th. The SNL (Sixteenth National Leader) is a departure from the 15th.

THE 16TH GATE OF TIME IS A GATE OF CHANGE

The Bible and history indicate that new people and things (good and bad) get on board in the 16th season.  It is a season of ‘the great shift’. Since Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 reveals that what had been is what will be, here are few things we can learn from the past about change in the the 16th season:

In Genesis 16, Hagar became pregnant for Abraham and gave birth to Ishmael. That was a change of narrative in Abraham’s house. In Exodus 16, Israel began to eat Manna and Quail in the wilderness. ‘Manna’ means “what is this?”. In Numbers 16, the rebellion of Korah and his company took place. “A new thing” happened: the ground opened and swallowed 250 strong and healthy rebels. In Judges 16, Delilah showed up in Samson’s life. Samson though it was still business as usual. He thought he could still go out and do as before; but everything had changed. In First Samuel 16, God led Samuel to anoint David as Saul’s successor. David was a game-changer in Israel. In Second Samuel 16, David fled Jerusalem.  Absalom took over and had Ahitophel as chief adviser. Ahab and Jezebel came to throne in the 16th chapter of First Kings. In Second Kings 16, Ahaz became king of Judah; and imported ‘a new altar’ from Damascus. In First Chronicles 16, the Ark of God was brought into the Tabernacle (not tabernacle of Moses but tabernacle of David). In Second Chronicles 16, Asa lost faith in God and declined to death. In the 16th book of the Bible, Nehemiah went to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem “that we no longer be a reproach. In Matthew 16, Peter made the Great Confession about the divinity of Jesus. “From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day” (Matthew 16:21). In Acts 16, Paul had a new missionary companion in Silas. He parted ways with Barnabas in Acts 15. He and his new companion saw God move mysteriously at Philippi. In Revelation 16, all seven bowls of judgment were released. The seven seals were not opened in one chapter; and the seven trumpets did not sound in one chapter.

Does modern history agree what the 16th book and chapters of the Bible indicate? Yes! The church changed in the 16th century with the Protestant Reformation that took place in the 16th century. In America, the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, was the first Presidential candidate of the Republican Party. He was a great change agent in American history. His administration abolished slavery in the United States. The 16th National Leader will be ‘a new thing’ – a departure from what we have seen and known – and is worth writing about.

THE FOUR FACES OF THE 16TH LEADER

There are five scriptural patterns that can help us to understand the mystery of the 16th leader. The first is the Genesis 1: 6-8 pattern. The second is the Genesis 1: 20-23 pattern. The third is the Exodus 13-18 pattern. The fourth is the Book of Second Samuel pattern. The fifth is the book Nehemiah pattern. The 16th leader will have the faces of the second and fifth days of creation, the face of Moses, the face of David, and the face of Nehemiah.

1. THE GENESIS 1:6-8 PATTERN: The Sixteenth National Leader will be the second of Nigeria’s third seven leaders. In the Bible, narratives take a new course from the third chapter. The season of Nigeria’s third seven leaders is a game-changing season. The 15th leader (Muhamnadu Buhari) has opened the way. Like what happened on the first day of creation (the day of noiseless actors), Buhari’s season is one of noiseless action – for good or evil. Darkness and light do not make noise but their effects are undeniable. Was Buhari’s season one of light or darkness? The 16th leader will express the second day of creation. God made the firmament on the second day to break or thwart the monopoly of the waters. Nothing else but water would have existed if God did not create the firmament on the second day. The Nigeria of the 15th leader is a country of monopolies. The 16th leader ought to be a monopoly-breaker. The 16th leader ought to be set against space-blockers in Nigeria. The 16th leader should be on a mission to give room and performance-space to all Nigerians. He ought to be a ‘way-maker’. If He is coming to make a way, may Heaven make a way for Him. Pray that the 16th leader is not a space-blocker. May Heaven block a space-blockers from becoming Nigeria’s 16th leader.

2. THE GENESIS 1:20-23 PATTERN: The 16th Leader will be the fifth President in the 4th Republic. His season will be a fifth day creation season. He will be a fifth-season leader. God made abundance of moving creatures on the fifth day. That was also the day He began to bless creation. The fifth season is for full expression of life. Things that hinder full expression of life (scarcity, barrenness, disease, death, bondage, curses) are the challenges that come in the fifth season. This season will favor freedom, fruitfulness, multiplication, and abundance.

3. THE EXODUS 13-18 PATTERN: The 16th leader will be like a Moses leading Israel out of bondage in Exodus 13-18. The third six chapters of Exodus apply to 2023-2030 (the tenth seven years of Nigeria or the third seven years in our second 49 years). The 16th leader should be in office at this time. Moses led liberated Israel out of Egypt and through initial wilderness challenges. The 16th leader should be leading Nigeria out of the present bondage but may have to lead the nation through the way of the wilderness. See my article, FROM GROANING TO GLORY

4. THE SECOND SAMUEL PATTERN: The 16th leader should be like David in the book of Second Samuel. The book of Second Samuel is the 10th book of the Bible and is also applicable to the 10th seven years of Nigeria. David succeeded Saul, subdued the enemies of Israel, and brought back the Ark of God’s presence to the tabernacle he built. He made preparations for the Temple of God. The season of the 16th leader will prepare grounds for the Tabernacle of God in Nigeria.

5. THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH PATTERN: The 16th leader will be like Nehemiah. The book of Nehemiah is the 16th book of the Bible and is a pattern for the 16th seven years and the season of the 16th leader. The 16th book of the Bible is named after Nehemiah. He was butler to a Persian king. Upon hearing the ruined state of Jerusalem, he mourned, prayed, fasted, and wept until he received a vision to rebuild the wall. Nehemiah was a patriotic rebuilder. The 16th National leader should be coming to rebuild Nigeria – “that we no longer be a reproach” among the nations. The 16th leader should be coming to rebuild our wall and gates. Nehemiah and the people rebuilt the wall and hung the gates in 52 days amid opposition. The work was, indeed, done by God as Nehemiah testified. The broken walls of Nigeria can be rebuilt. Wall are for separation and security, There are seven gates we must rebuild: Morale Gate, Integrity Gate, Justice Gate, Economy Gate, Security Gate, Unity Gate, Standards Gate, and Reputation Gate.

Rebuilding the wall and gates will take five things: love of country, leaning on God, mobilizing the people, modeling sacrificial leadership, and staying focused – refusing to be distracted by foes. Nehemiah had all five. He was passionate about Jerusalem. He was prayerful. He was a humble communicator that could touch the heart of the people. He was a sacrificial leader – denying himself the governor’s portion. He was a disciplined and focused leader. Nehemiah was a 16th season leader. That is the reason the book of Nehemiah is the 16th in the Bible. Every book of the Bible is where it is because of the season it speaks to.

WHO IS THE 16TH LEADER?

This is the big question in the heart of every concerned Nigerian at this time. This is also a very sensitive question that only the Lord and His word can answer for us. I will just attempt the question by highlighting what the Lord revealed to me about how He solves problems in scond seasons. The acts of God are products of the ways of God. Nigeria is going through a core second season. At the time of this writing, we are in the second seven years of our second 49 years. That’s a core second season. God may not always follow His pattern of doing things as in the Virgin Conception; but that is just an exception to the rule. The Lord showed me, through the second book and chapters of the Bible, that He hides second season answers where the problem is. Careful study of the second book and chapters of the Bible will confirm this truth to you. In Genesis 2, the woman was hidden in the man. In the second chapter of the second book of the Bible, Moses was hidden in Pharaoh’s house until he came of age. In the 9th book of the Bible (the second of the second seven books), Samuel was hidden with Eli and David with Saul. At a time, He even hid David among the Philistines. David was a man after God’s heart but He was also a good and faithful servant of Saul, the rejected king. He served Saul and served him well. At the beginning of our second 49 years, God already hid Goodluck Jonathan behind Umar Musa Yar’Adua. God also hid Osinbajo behind In Acts 9, Paul the Apostle was hidden in Saul the persecutor. The Apostle was hidden among the Pharisees! This is the mystery of the season we are in. How about zoning and the other questions? How about the prophecies, promises, and expectations concerning a president from the South-east? Every eye is on the South-east. God also has a solid plan for the South-east and will definitely fulfill it.. Let us continue to pray that He finds the ‘David’, the 16th leader, in the South-east at this time. The important thing is allowing God to have His way. The person Samuel anointed in First Samuel 16 surprised everyone including the prophet himself. Macedonia was not Paul’s first choice in Acts 16. They had desired to preach in other places but the Holy Spirit forbade them. Acts 16: 6-10 says, “Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. [7] After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. [8] So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. [9] And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” [10] Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them”.

We must look beneath the surface to get it right in this season. This is a time to look at what God is looking at. It is time to see as God sees.

12 THINGS TO EXPECT IN THE SEASON OF THE 16TH LEADER

1. PRESSURES

The 16th season is a time of pressures often leading to wrong decisions. In Genesis 16, Sarah came under the pressure of barrenness and gave her maid, Hagar, to her husband as wife. That’s how Ishmael was conceived for Abraham. When Hagar conceived and became arrogant, Sarah, under pressure again, dealt oppressively with her. When Hagar came under intense pressure from Sarah’s high-handedness, she ran away from the house. The Lord had to send her back with a command to be submissive to Sarah. Acting under the pressure of circumstances in the 16th season never brings pleasure to God.

In Exodus 16, pressure made Israel complain against God, Moses, and Aaron. In Judges 16, Samson yielded to pressure from Delilah and broke his oath of consecration to God – at a costly price. In Second Samuel 16, pressure from Ahitophel made Absalom sleep with his father’s concubine in the sight of all Israel. In 2 Chronicles 16, King Asa gave in to pressure from fear, and bribed an ungodly king to help him against his enemies. He dishonored God through unbelief. That was the beginning of his downfall. In Luke 16, the unfaithful steward, for fear of losing his job, and facing a jobless future, gave away his master’s resources to debtors – to curry favor. That was double error. Rather than yield to pressures, turn the pressures into prayers and praises to God and expect His intervention.

2. PROVOCATIONS, OPPOSITION, AND PERSECUTIONS

In this season, if you are going to say and do what is right, you are going to step badly on some toes. In the 16th chapter of First Samuel, the prophet knew he would be dead if King Saul found out he went to Bethlehem to anoint a new king. The Lord told him how to go about it. In 2 Chronicles 16, King Asa imprisoned the prophet of God who told him he was wrong to have sought assistance from an ungodly king.

In Nehemiah, the 16th book of the Bible, when Sanballat and Tobiah heard that someone had risen to seek the well-being of the children of Israel, they were angry and deeply disturbed. In John 16, Jesus told His disciples to expect persecution – to be thrown out of the synagogue, imprisoned, or even killed. In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for casting out a devil from a slave-girl. The 16th century protestant reformers were persecuted. Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States faced opposition to death.

3. REVOLUTIONS

Expect doomed-to-fail, in-house, revolutions. In Numbers 16, Korah, Dathan and Abiram, led a revolution against Moses and Aaron. It was unsuccessful though. They paid dearly for it. In the sixteenth chapter of Second Samuel, Absalom’s ill-fated revolution to overthrow King David, his father, reached its peak. David fled Jerusalem to save his life. In the First Kings 16, Zimri rose against his master, Elah, the son of Baasha, and took over the throne. He also killed every member and friend of the house of Baasha. Israel did not support Zimri’s bloody coup. They made Omri, the father of Ahab, king instead. Zimri was king for only seven days! When he saw his revolution had failed, he committed suicide by raising fire over his house. The US Civil War happened in the days of the 16th President, Abraham Lincoln. There will be attempts to overthrow the 16th National Leader.

4. WAR AGAINST REBELLION

The 16th season does not support rebels. In Numbers 16, the earth swallowed up the rebellious company of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. In Judges 16, Samson was brought low for allowing his head shaved in rebellion against God. In Second Samuel 16, David bore the painful consequences of the evil he did to Uriah the Hittite. In First Kings 16, both Baasha and Zimri paid the costly price of wickedness. In the sixteenth chapters of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel, there were proclamations of judgment against unrighteousness. In Luke 16, the rich man who lived sumptuously, and neglected the poor, ended in a place of torment. In Revelation 16, God prepared and poured out seven bowls of wrath on earth (Disease and Death, Marine Life Disaster, Water Crisis, Confusion and Depravity, Climate Change: Heat, Demonically orchestrated wars, Economic Collapse and the fall of nations) in reaction to extreme ungodliness. In the United States, the Confederate forces lost the war against the Union army. The 16th President of Philippines is very hard on law breakers – especially drug-law breakers.

5. A SEASON TO RELY ON THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR GRACE AND WISDOM

Samson failed in Judges 16 because the Spirit left him. In the sixteenth chapter of First Samuel, the Spirit came mightily on David. He did not have overt manifestations of prophesying like Saul; but he was a Spirit-guided man. He was taught by God; and the result was deep insights and revelations. He always had the right strategy for battles. In John 16, Jesus said, “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you” (John 16:12-14 NKJV).

In Acts 16, Paul was guided by the Spirit to go to Macedonia. “Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them” (Acts 16:6-10 NKJV). In this season, you would be Spirit-guided!

6. SEASON OF SINGING AND MUSIC

In the 16th chapter of First Samuel, after Samuel anointed David, the next major call was to play music in King Saul’s palace. Music introduced him to the palace. He had been a secret-worshipper but God raised him to revolutionize the worship of Jehovah by bringing songs and singers into the temple. David was a man of prayer and songs. In the 16th book of the Bible, Nehemiah is shown to be a man of prayer and had great respect for the ministry of singers. There is more mention of ‘singers’ in the book of Nehemiah than in any other book of the Bible. In Acts 16, Paul and Silas experienced the wonders of God by praying and singing. In this season, whatever happens, remember the key of praying and singing praises to God. In the season of the 16th National Leader, the church must engage, fully, the mystery of singing praises to God.

7. ECONOMIC HARDSHIP AND RELIEF

God provides for His people, and sustains them supernaturally, when the ordinary or conventional means of sustenance fails. God began to give Manna and Quails to Israel in the 16th chapter of Exodus. In the morning, Manna came with the dew as breakfast; and in the evening they had Quails as meat for dinner. Israel complained before God gave them Manna and Quails. God gave them Manna and Quail because they lacked conventional food and life was hard. The 16th season is a season of hardship; but the grace of God is always there to make things easier. In the fifth chapter of the 16th book of the Bible, there was an outcry because of hardship. Nehemiah intervened and gave himself as a model if sacrifice. Luke 16 tells two stories bordering on the economy: unjust steward who favored his master’s debtors with debt-reduction to secure his own economic future; and of Lazarus who lacked food to eat and looked to the rich man for help. In John 16, Jesus spoke of tribulations in the world. In Acts 16, a slave girl was making money for her master through fortune-telling. Why fortune-telling? Life was hard and people needed to know about the future. These are prophetic indicators of hardship in the 16th season. The 16th National Leader must have a solid economic relief plan. He must have seasoned economic advisers and technocrats.

8. SEASON OF GREAT DECEPTION

The sixteenth season is a season of demons working deception through pressures or pleasures. Evil spirits of deception are deployed to cause havoc in this season. In Genesis 16, Sarah was deceived to give Hagar, her maid, to her husband as wife. That’s how Ishmael was conceived for Abraham. The result is still here with us. In Numbers 16, Korah and company perished through deception. In Judges 16, Delilah deceived Samson to his death. He thought he had found a lover in Delilah. He did not know she was an enemy and a killer though the signs were obvious. In the 16th chapter of First Samuel, while David was bubbling with the Holy Spirit, evil spirits took over Saul’s mind to mislead him further. In Second Samuel 16, Ziba deceived David concerning Mephibosheth. In the same chapter, Absalom went deeper into deception in his bid to unseat his father. Praise-singers led him into foolishness. In Second Chronicles 16, Asa was deceived to seek the help of an ungodly king. He was deceived to trust in human strength. God rebuked him for it; but he never recovered from that loss of faith. Satan spoke through Peter in the 16th chapter of Matthew; to dissuade Jesus from going to the cross. Jesus also said the gates of hades will not prevail against His church in the same chapter Peter was deceived. In Mark 16, Jesus said those who believe in Him would cast out demons. The first sign Jesus said would follow those who believe, in Mark 16, is ability to handle demons. In Acts 16, Paul cast out a spirit of divination from a slave girl making money for his master through fortune-telling. In Revelation 16, three unclean spirits deceived kings and nations and gathered them to the great battle of Armageddon. In the 16th book of the Bible, Shemaiah pretended to be a messenger of God when he told Nehemiah to go and hide in the temple. Nehemiah found out he was hired by his enemies to deceive, distract, and destroy him. There is deception in the air in every 16th season; and individuals, organizations, institutions, ministries, and nations are targets. In the season of the 16th National Leader, both the leader and the people must be ready to overcome deception.

The 16th National Leader needs to be deception-proof rather than just bullet-proof. The 16th National Leader should be very discerning because of hovering spirits of deception. The 16th National leader should be surrounded by faithful, informed, discerning, and spiritually sensitive people. This leader must have a discerning and spiritually sensitive cabal. The leader should be open to visions and revelations; but be careful to not be misled by them. It was by revelation that Paul went to Macedonia; but he was discerning enough to know when an evil spirit was speaking accurately through a slave girl. Peter received the revelation that Jesus is the Christ and Son of God. Jesus said Peters confession of Him was by divine revelation. Jesus Aldo knew when Peter hot out of line. It was by the spirit of revelation that Samuel did not pour oil on the wrong head in the sixteenth chapter of First Samuel.

9. SEASON OF GREAT FALLS

The sixteenth season is a season of great falls. This is revealed in the 16th chapters of the Bible. Samson, the mighty warrior of Israel, fell into the hands of his enemies in the 16th chapter of the book of Judges. He thought he had become so experienced in guerrilla warfare; and became complacent and careless with respect to his consecration to God. It cost him his eyes, his great strength, and eventually, his life. David, the great king of Israel, also suffered great humiliation in the 16th chapter of Second Samuel, as he fled Jerusalem, from Absalom his son. All hell broke loose against him. The Lord’s anointed, before whom no nation or king could stand, fled like a coward, and could not stand before his own son. In the 16th chapter of Luke, the rich man, who fed so sumptuously, died and ended up in a place of torment; where he needed the help of poor Lazarus. He begged for everything but got nothing. In the 16th chapter of Revelation, John shared his vision of ‘the great city’ that divided into three parts by a mighty shaking. The 16th chapters of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel, speak of the fall of nations. The 16th season swallows up the deceived and unwary.

Louis XVI was the last king of France before the fall of the monarchy during the French Revolution. He died by execution. Spencer Perceval, the 17th person to serve as UK Prime Minister was assassinated May 11, 1812; at the beginning of the 16th seven years of the United Kingdom. The war of 1812 between the United Kingdom and the United States also happened in the opening years of the 16th seven years of the United Kingdom. Napoleon Bonaparte fell in the 16th year of his rise to power. He came to power November 10, 1799 and lost his empire June 22 1815. Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States was the first US president to be assassinated. He was assassinated in a movie theater on his very happy day. The Union forces had won the Civil War. The same night, the Vice President, and the Secretary of State were also targeted for assassination. The Secretary of State received wounds he recovered from. The person detailed to kill the Vice President lacked the courage to try. Within the 16th seven years of the United States, the 20th President, James Garfield was assassinated. In 1976 (the 16th year of Nigeria), Murtala Mohammed, the fourth National Leader, was assassinated. In 2016, the 16th year of the 21st century, the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, Andrew Karlovy was assassinated. In the same year, UK Parliamentarian, Joe Cox was assassinated.  Same 2016, Gideon Aremu, former Oyo State legislator,  was murdered July 1. The 16th season does not have to be a season of falls. It can also be a season great recoveries. The Lord will preserve our nation and the 16th National Leader in this season. The 16th national leader must learn to pray Psalm 16:1: “Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust”. Psalm 16 should be the 16th leader’s prayer. He should walk in the wisdom reserved in Proverbs 16.

10. SEASON OF GREAT RECOVERIES

Although there shall be great falls in this season, there shall also be great recoveries. Samson failed and fell woefully in the 16th chapter of Judges, but, he also experienced a brief recovery of strength, by which he dealt a fatal blow to the Philistines in the same chapter. He died with his enemies though. In Nehemiah, the sixteenth book of the Bible, the ruined walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt to end the reproach of the Jews. The Jewish faith was also restored in a mighty revival. Jesus rose from the dead in the sixteenth chapter of Mark, and commanded his disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. In the sixteenth century, via the Protestant Reformation, the church recovered from great loss of truth. Thanks to the reformers. We could not have been where we are today without them. In the season of Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the United States, there was recovery of hope for slaves by the Emancipation Proclamation; and the nation leaped forward. The sixteenth chapters of Jeremiah and Ezekiel also speak of restoration after a fall. What shall we expect in the season of the 16th National Leader? I pray it is great recovery.

11. SEASON OF GREAT OPEN DOORS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE LOWLY

May the season of the 16th National Leader be one of great open doors. Hagar had opportunity to become her master’s wife in Genesis 16. Who would have told Hagar she would be part of Abraham’s story; or that she would become the mother of nations? What about David as king of Israel. I can hardly imagine how David felt on the day Samuel anointed him. David was anointed king before his older brothers in the 16th chapter of First Samuel. He was called from the bush where he was taking care of livestock for the family – when none of his brothers could fit into what God had in mind. On a day that seemed like every other day, God picked him, without consulting any man, to be the next king. How would a shepherd become king? God knows how! In the same chapter, Saul, the incumbent ruler, heard of his musical skills and recruited him to be the king’s soothing harpist. Why that? God opened another door that would begin to prepare him for life in the palace. Did Nehemiah ever think he would become the governor of Judah? You may never be able to guess who the 16th National Leader would be. This is a season of ‘wonders-hard-to-believe’. Those who say “it can never happen” would be proved wrong. People who seem to have no chance at all will take over the scene. “These signs shall follow those who believe….” Surprises are on the way.

12. SEASON OF WOMEN

The sixteenth season is a season of women, The 16th book and chapters of the Bible indicate that women have a strategic place in this season. Genesis 16 opens with a woman calling the shots. The chapter is about Sarah and Hagar. Judges 16 introduces the seductress, Delilah, as the Philistine’s last hope of gaining victory over Samson. They succeeded with her. In Second Samuel 16, Absalom sexually abused his father’s concubine whom he left to keep the house as he fled Jerusalem. In First Kings 16, Jezebel came to power with her husband, Ahab. In the second chapter of the 16th book of the Bible, the king’s wife sat beside him as Nehemiah sought permission to go and rebuild the wall and gates of Jerusalem.  In Mark 16, Mary Magdalena, Mary the mother of James, Salome went to the tomb to anoint the body of Jesus on the morning of resurrection. They took the good news of Jesus’ resurrection to His disciples. In Acts 16, Paul and Silas started ministry in a women prayer meeting. There they met Lydia, the prominent seller of purple who became a follower of Chris; and in whose house they lodged. They went to prison because they cast out a spirit of divination from a slave girl that made money for her master through fortune-telling. Women are great movers in the 16th season and they will play strategic roles in the season of the 16th National Leader – both for good and evil. In the season of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, women were a force to reckon with.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

1. We should engage the force of prayer. The 16th book on the Bible reveals that Nehemiah was a man of prayer.  Paul and Silas prayed in Acts 16. The 16th gate is a supernatural gate. It does not answer to efforts of flesh and blood. It is a season when the work must be done by God.

2. We should engage the weapon of singing praises to God against the demonic hosts in Nigeria. Spirit-filled singers in Nigeria should come together in this season and for this reason. God’s peoole in Nigeria should sing praises to God, on purpose, like never before.

3. We should listen to the Voice of the Spirit. What we do in the 16th season should be by the leading of the Spirit. Paul and Silas had their preferences in Acts 16; but they were very sensitive to the Voice from heaven. What is Heaven saying about Buhari’s successor?

4. We should be discerning and not fall for appearance. We should not call or make the wrong candidates the Lord’s Anointed. We should not choose whom the Lord had not chosen. We must keep our eyes on the LORD’s face and finger. Who is He smiling at? Who is He pointing to?

5. We should unite and rise to build. Families in Nigeria (churches, ethnic groups, professional bodies, etc) should take up portions of the broken walls and fallen gates. All must show a willingness to rebuild Nigeria. Nehemiah did not manipulate or buy the people to follow him. He did not use ‘divide and rule’ system. He spoke to the people and they rose to work.

6. We must not be confused about what we are looking for. We’re not just looking for a leader; but also for a problem – solver. We are looking for a builder and a restorer. We’re looking for a shepherding leader. We’re looking for that one who had fought both lion and bear and prevailed. We are looking for a leader who knows what it means to serve and follow. David served and followed. Nehemiah served and followed.

7. We need a strong network of spiritual intelligence. The 16th book of the Bible mentions ‘gatekeepers’ more than any other book of the Bible. The season needs watchmen and gatekeepers. The 16th gate of leadership in Nigeria must be manned.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Pray for the preservation of the SNL. Paralyze evil hands, blind evil eyes, and frustrate evil plans against the SNL.

2. Block the path to the office of the SNL from the reach of Absalom (2 Samuel 16) and Zimri and the House of Omri (1 Kings 16). A Jezebel will not be First Lady in Nigeria.

3. Pray that the SNL will be stirred, convinced and courageous to step forward; and that great favor will mark the path of this leader.

4. Pray against deception, and for spiritual sensitivity, in this season. Pray that evil spirits deployed for this season will be too weak to operate.

5. Pray against the fall of the anointed in this season. This SNL will not fall like Samson or Saul, or Lincoln. There will be no lack of wisdom.

6. Pray that wise women and men will be in the cabinet in this season. Pray against the rise of an evil Ahitophel-cabal in the team of the SNL.

7. Pray that God’s miraculous power will back the SNL in ways unprecedented in this season.

CONCLUSION

The season of the 16th National Leader is a special gate of time. It is one we must handle with great discernment and watchfulness. We need watchmen and gate-keepers for this gate of time – prayer warriors, seers, strategic thinkers, and social technocrats. We need to pray right prayers and do right things the right way. Jesus said, “…If the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into” (Matthew 24:43). Now you know!

Day 365: The Mystery of December 31

0

Welcome to the last day of the year. Day 365 is the first day of the 53rd week and the last day of the year and the 22nd day of the last 22 days of the year (in a clear year). It is December 31 in a Clear year and December 30 in a Leap year.

Day 365 is a first season day. It is the first day of the last fourth week of the year. The first day of creation was the day beginning the revealed exploits of God and His Word. The first book of the Bible is also about the Sovereignty of God – manifest in creation, judgement, and election or grace. As a first season day, Day 365 belongs specially to God. It is when loyalty to God is tested and rewarded; and disloyalty judged.

Day 365 belongs to a 53rd season; and relates to the 53rd book and chapters of the Bible. Second Thessalonians is the 53rd book of the Bible. Day 365 is the beginning of what should have been the 53rd week of the year; though it is not a full week. The 53rd book of the Bible is the end of ‘the man of sin and lawlessness’. It is book of the last battle between light and darkness. The 53rd is a conclusive season. In Psalm 53, both the fool and God made conclusive statements: The fool says “There is no God”; while God says, “There is none who does good; No, not one”. The 53rd is the end-season for those who have declared war against God. It is when God makes fools of those who despise or disregard Him. Psalm 53:4-5 says, “Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon God? [5] There they are in great fear Where no fear was, For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; You have put them to shame, Because God has despised them. [6] Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad”. Isaiah 53 is prophetic of what Jesus experienced on the cross. In Isaiah 53, God gave his servant the treatment meant for transgressors. Isaiah 53 reveals how God deals with transgressors in the 53rd season. Jesus did not deserve what He suffered on the cross; but he suffered what sin and the sinners He represented deserved. God is harsh with rebellion in the 53rd season.

Day 365 is a 22nd day season. What is the mystery of the 22nd? The 22nd is an end; which is also a new beginning. In the Hebrew Alphabet, the 22nd letter, ‘tav’ is the last letter. It is the end. There are two books of the Bible that end at the 22nd chapter. They are First Kings and Revelation. Both books speak of the end. In the book of First Kings, the eleventh book of the Bible, Israel had both a great ascent and devastating decline. King Ahab died in the 22nd chapter of First Kings. Revelation 22 is a New Beginning showing the restoration of the river of the water of life; and of the tree of life.

The 22nd book of the Bible is Song of Songs. This book is a romantic poetry telling the story of two lovers and their companions. This book is a picture of the love that should  exist between God and man, God and Israel, and between Jesus Christ and the Church. The marriage of Christ to the Church is an end-time event.

The 22nd chapters of the Bible confirm that the 22nd season is an end-time; and in it, loyalty to God is tested and rewarded or judged.

In Genesis 22, God tested Abraham’s loyalty to Him by requiring the sacrifice of Isaac as burnt offering. He demonstrated loyalty to God and was rewarded. That was Abraham’s last test.

In Exodus 22, God gave laws and judgments – eternal boundaries – for businesses and families in Israel. Obedience to God is the proof of loyalty to Him.

In Leviticus 22, God laws and judgments (eternal boundaries) for Aaron’s family (the priesthood). In John 14, Jesus said those who love him would keep His commands.

In Numbers 22, Balaam’s loyalty to God was tested. The king of Moab wanted him to curse Israel. God said he should not. Balaam did not honor the voice of God because of the rewards he expected from men.

In Deuteronomy 22, God gave Israel laws and judgments (eternal boundaries) for the purity and cleansing of the land.

In Joshua 22, Israel acknowledged the end of the obligation of the Reubenites, Gadites and half tribe of Manasseh. They erected an altar at Jordan to witness that the Lord is God. The 22nd season is a time to demonstrate that the Lord is God.

In 1 Samuel 22, Saul killed the priests of the Lord to fulfill part of God’s word to Samuel,   concerning the house of Eli. Abiathar crossed over to David as priest. The word of reaches fruition in the 22nd season.

In 2 Samuel 22, David’s troubles ended. The king sings to the Lord. The 22nd is a season of giving credit to God in songs. It is a time of songs. The 22nd book of the Bible is called Song of Songs.

In 1 Kings 22, Ahab died according to God’s word by His prophet, Elijah. God’s word must come to pass in the 22nd season.

In 2 Kings 22, Josiah became king. That was the end of the spiritual darkness of the reign of Manasseh and Amon. Josiah was a godly king and demonstrated loyalty to God when he heard the reading from the book of the Law. The man of God from Judah, in 1 Kings 13, had spoken about Josiah.

In 1 Chronicles 22, David handed over to Solomon as God had promised that his son would sit on the throne.

In 2 Chronicles 22, Ahaziah, the son of Ataliah, came to his end; as Jehu executed God’s word concerning the house of Ahab.

In Job 22, Eliphaz gave his third and last speech.

Psalms 22 is the Messianic Psalm of Jesus’ suffering on the cross – end of His earth-ministry. Jesus fulfilled Psalm 22 on the Cross.

Proverbs 22 contains boundaries, for everyday living, set by divine wisdom.

In Isaiah 22, God pronounced judgment against Jerusalem and Shebna

In Jeremiah 22, God pronounced judgment against Jehoiakim and Coniah

In Ezekiel 22, the prophet makes pronouncements of judgment against the bloody city

Matthew 22 marks the end of religious leaders questioning and testing Jesus (Matthew 22: 46).

Luke 22 records the last supper, prayer at the Garden of Gethsemane, Judah’s betrayal of his Master, Peter’s denial denial of his Lord, and Jesus’ trial by the Jewish council. Loyalty was tested in this chapter.

In Acts 22, Paul was loosed from his bonds. This marked the end of examination, by scourging, for Paul.

Revelation 22 is the end of the Bible and the restoration of God’s original intention. The Great Fulfillment. In this chapter, also, Jesus said He is coming with rewards in His hands. Revelation 22:12 says, “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work”. The 22nd season is the season of tests and rewards.

THE UNIQUENESS OF DECEMBER 31

Every Day hands over another Day

The last day of each week hands over to a New Week

The last day of one month hands over to another Month

December 31 hands over to a New Year

December 31 hands over to a New Century

December 31 hands over to a New Millennium

One Day, time will hand over to Eternity. Time will cease to exist. What we call one day will be like a thousand years; and what we call a thousand years will be like one day. There will no longer be seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years. There will no longer be night or day.

Day 365 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 52nd week.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your  life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy.!

Day 364: The Mystery of December 30

0

Welcome to the 364th day of the year! Day 364 is the seventh and last day of the last full week (52nd) of the year; and the 21st day in the last 22/23 days of the year.

Day 364 is a seventh season day. The key to understanding a seventh season day is the narrative of the seventh day of creation recorded in Genesis 2. On the seventh day, God ended His work, rested, blessed the seventh day, and made it holy (distinct). What God did on the seventh day became a pattern for seventh seasons. Here are four things about the seventh season from the narrative of the seventh day of creation:

1. The seventh day is for the end of labor: it is a legislated work-end season. Although it is a work-free day in many countries, it is also a spiritual work-free season. It is a season of grace through faith. It is a season to enter into the finished work by faith. It is a season to step into results of finished work.

2. The seventh season is a season of rest; not just physically but spiritually also. Jesus healed the sick on the Sabbath to usher them into rest in their bodies. A sick person has no rest in his or her mind or body; even if he or she is lying down and sleeping. Rest for the sick means to be released from sickness.

3. The seventh season is a Holy season. God made the seventh day holy, not just so it could be a season of religious worship but much more so it could be a season doing the pleasure of the Divine. To have religious worship and rituals in the seven season without practical pursuit of divine pleasure is vain.

4. The seventh season is a blessed season. God blessed the seventh season because He wants men to be blessed in it; instead of for men to experience curses in it.  God blessed this season because of the tendency for men to be afflicted with curses in the season. The curses of the season come from violating the season. If the seventh season is kept Holy for God’s pleasure, men would enjoy the blessings of the season.

Day 364 is a book of Judges day in the 52nd week of the year. Judges is the seventh book of the Bible. In this book, Israel did not obey God. Everyone did what was right in His own eyes. Israel had no rest in this book; but were oppressed by her neighbors; except when God raised a judge to deliver them from their oppressors. When a seventh season is violated, through rebellion against God, it becomes a season of disasters.

Day 364 is a book-of-Ecclesiastes day in the 22/23 last days of the year.  Ecclesiastes is the 21st book of the Bible and shows a picture of man living for himself instead of living for God. The man living for himself in the book of Ecclesiastes could not find meaning or purpose in life until he realized that the whole duty of man is to please God. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. [14] For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil”.

Day 364 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 52nd week. Today is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the week.

Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Have. happy day!The seventh season is for honoring the rights of God. It is time to return to Him.

Day 363: The Mystery of December 29

0

Welcome to the 363rd day of the year! Day 363 is the sixth day of the 52nd week; and the 20th day in the last 22/23 days of the year. Day 363 is a sixth day season.  The main Bible pattern for understanding Day 363 is the sixth day of creation narrative. The sixth book and sixth chapters of the Bible are also patterns for understanding Day 363.

Day 363 is a sixth day of creation day. On the sixth day of creation, God made man and land animals; and gave the earth to man whom He made in His image and likeness. He also stated man’s purpose to subdue, rule, and have dominion. In the sixth season, God gives power to the things that bear His semblance to subdue the forces that do not bear His semblance. The sixth season is when God expects full alignment of earth with Heaven. Matthew 6 calls us to pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the sixth season, man should bear semblance with God; and the earth with heaven. This happens through following God’s word. Consequently, if the earth is out of alignment with heaven in the sixth season, heaven reacts to establish it rule over the earth.  This is the story of the sixth chapter of Genesis and of the sixth book of the Bible. The sixth season is a season of battle of ascendancy between godliness and ungodliness. The sixth season is both a season of judgment and a season of grace.

363 is a book of Joshua day in the 52nd week. Joshua is the sixth book of the Bible and reveals three things about the sixth season: 1. God gives inheritance in the sixth season; and calls men to fight to possess their inheritance in the season.  2. God judges rebellion in the sixth season and gives grace to the humble. 3. The key to success in the sixth season is receiving and following divine commands and instructions. The sixth season is a season to comply fully with God’s word without turning to the right or to the left. Joshua 1:7-8 says, “Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. [8] This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”.

363 is a book of Proverbs day in the last 22/23 days of the year. The book of Proverbs is a book of instructions and guidelines for every day living. The book shows that success comes from following the way of God’s wisdom; and that the opposite, foolishness, hurts and leads to failure. Proverbs 1:22-33 says, “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge. [23] Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. [24] Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, [25] Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, [26] I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, [27] When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. [28] “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. [29] Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD, [30] They would have none of my counsel And despised my every rebuke. [31] Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, And be filled to the full with their own fancies. [32] For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them; [33] But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.”

Day 363 is Ephesians – Philemon day in the 52nd week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The sixth day of the week is the second day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the second nine books of the New Testament. Today is a day to triumph in warfare through instructions. The second 9 books of the N.T are mentoring books. The pastoral epistles of Paul are in this section. This section of the Bible is for “the preparation of the man of God”.

Today, show that your primary allegiance is to the God of Israel. You are made in the image and likeness of God. This is a day to commemorate and relive the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. Today, make your way back to the Lord. Even if you are not a backslider, you can still get closer to the goal of expressing the Lord – as His image and likeness. Today, stand out for God as His representative and look into your life, and look around, for things and areas that need to be conformed to God’s standards. Today, pray that the kingdom comes, by the word of God, to establish God’s will in your life, family, church, community, nation; and in the nations of the world.  Have a happy and tremendously fruitful day!

ON THIS DAY, December 29, in 1170; Archbishop Thomas Becket was murdered in Canterbury Cathedral in England. In1890, U.S. troops killed as many as 400 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee, S.D. In 1916, Gregory Rasputin, the monk who had wielded powerful influence over the Russian court, was murdered by a group of noblemen. In 1940 , Germany began dropping incendiary bombs on London during World War II.

1996 War-weary guerrilla and government leaders in Guatemala signed an accord ending 36 years of civil conflict. – https://learning.blogs.nytimes.com/on-this-day/december-29/

Today, seek alignment with heaven in every area of your life.

Day 362: The Mystery of December 28

0

Welcome to the 362nd day of the year. Day 362 is the fifth day of the 52nd week; and the 19th day in the last 22/23 days of the year. Day 362 is December 28 in a clear year and December 27 in a leap year.

Day 362 is a fifth-season day and has an illustrative pattern in what God did on the fifth day of creation. God made sea creatures and birds of the air, in abundance, and blessed creation, for the first time, on the fifth day of creation. God intends the fifth day to be a season of blessings instead of curses, life instead of death, health instead of disease, freedom instead of bondage, abundance instead famine, scarcity, and lack, fruitfulness instead barrenness, spirituality instead of carnality, and multiplication instead of decimation. However, the outcome is determined by man’s choices and responses. The creatures of the fifth day have ability to perceive reality by their senses of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste. They have ability to move about; and they ability to make sounds and respond actively to stimuli. Day 362 is a day to make right choices by sensitivity. It is a season life and safety through sensitivity and proper response.

Day 362 is a book of Deuteronomy day in the 52nd week. Deuteronomy is the fifth book of the Bible. It is a fifth season book as Day 362 is a fifth-season day. In the book of Deuteronomy, God gave Israel commands that would keep them out of harm’s way. He said they would receive blessings and escape curses by obeying His word. In Deuteronomy 30:15-19, God said, “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, [16] in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. [17] But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, [18] I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. [19] I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live”. Day 362 is a day live by choice not chance.

Day 362 is a book of Psalms day in the last 22/23 days of the year. Psalms is the 19th book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 19th day in last 22/23 days of the year. The book of Psalms shows how man may triumph in life by finding solace, and taking refuge, in God. In the 19th book of the Bible, the psalmist faced life and the forces of evil with deep spirituality – delighting in God’s word, meditating, trusting, praying, worshipping, and praising God. Day 362 is a day to trust in the Almighty God, and thrust your yourself to Him, as the psalmist did. It is a day to verbalize our thoughts to God in prayer and praise. The creatures of the fifth day produce sound by the voice. Day 362 is a day of lifting or raising the voice.

Day 362 is a First-Thessalonians-chapter-5 day. The 52nd book of the Bible is First Thessalonians; and the fifth chapter is comparable and applicable to the fifth day of the 52nd week. This chapter has several exhortations towards godliness. In the first 11 verses  Paul wanted the Thessalonians to not be moved by questions about the time and season of the Lord’s coming; because His coming is for us and not against us. We are created in Christ to be sensitive to times and seasons.

The next eleven verses (12-22) are about sensitivity to people and the Holy Spirit. First Thessalonians 5:12-22 says, “And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, [13] and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves. [14] Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. [15] See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. [16] Rejoice always, [17] pray without ceasing, [18] in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. [19] Do not quench the Spirit. [20] Do not despise prophecies. [21] Test all things; hold fast what is good. [22] Abstain from every form of evil”.

Day 362 is a day of life but insensitivity leads to death. On this day (December 28) in 1832, John C. Calhoun became the first vice president of the United States to resign, stepping down because of differences with President Andrew Jackson. In 1908, a major earthquake followed by a tsunami devastated the Italian city of Messina, killing at least 70,000 people. In 1987, the bodies of 14 relatives of Ronald Gene Simmons were found at his home near Dover, Arkansas, after Simmons shot and killed two other people in Russellville. (Simmons, who never explained his motives, was executed in 1990.). In 2008, a bomb-loaded SUV exploded at a military checkpoint in Afghanistan, claiming the lives of 14 school children in a heartbreaking flash captured by a U.S. security camera. In 2017, twelve people died in a Bronx apartment building fire, the deadliest residential fire to hit New York City in at least a quarter century; officials said it was caused by a 3-year-old boy playing with stove burners. (A 13th victim died of his injuries days later.). – https://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2018/12/28/us/ap-history.html. In 2018, twelve people died In a ghastly motor accident in Oju Local Government area of Benue State, Nigeria. Most of the victims were traveling for a political campaign rally. http://pulse.org/  In 2019, a suicide bomb blast killed 79 people and injured about 150  in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Day 362 is a day of freedom from shackles. On December, 28, in 1843, an unclean spirit cried “Jesus is victor!” as it departed from a young girl in Möttlingen, Germany. The possessed girl was Gottliebin Dittus, and the presiding pastor was Johann Christoph Blumhardt (1805-1880). – http://scriptoriumdaily.com/jesus-is-victor-blumhardt/

Day 362 is a Matthew – Galatians day in the 52nd week. It is a day of the compassionate intervention of God. Every week is like a journey through the Bible having an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and expresses the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fifth day of the week is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the first nine books of the New Testament. The first 9 books of the NT are about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Church. The books are about the love and grace of God granting salvation and justification to humanity by faith. This is a day to enter experientially into the New Testament side of the week. It is a day of answers to prayers, fulfillment of prophecies, and delivery of promises. The New Testament side is the spiritual and deeper side. The New Testament side is the side of manifestation. The old has passed away; and the new has begun. Dreams for the week are expected to come to pass and promises should be fulfilled. Expect deliverance and divine intervention.

DECREE AND DECLARE: At creation, God spoke His will into each day. He made us in His image and likeness; and expects us to release His will into each day.  Decree this day that the flesh will not overtake the spirit in your life, family,, organization, and nation. Decree a change in the week and declare that today is the beginning of the New Testament side of the 33rd week. As a Book-of-Matthew day, decree that Emmanuel (God is with us) takes over. As a New Testament type day, decree that the love of God will overtake human error and failure. Today, submit to the spirit against the flesh. Walk in the spirit and make no room for the flesh. The fifth season is a season of giving spiritual interpretations to earthly manifestations. Today, make it your watchword to walk in the spirit and obey God’s Word. Walking in the spirit is the key to gaining all. Birds (representing the spirit) fly above and eat from the land, the sea, and the air. Today, cry out to God against oppression and for the pains in your life. Speak out also. Trust Him to intervene in your affairs and in the affairs of people around you. Determine to make a next-level move. It’s time to shift base in the spirit! Today, put yourself on the side of blessing by choosing obedience instead of curses by choosing disobedience. Today, take a stand for life, freedom of movement, and freedom of expression. Take a stand against insensitivity, bondage, disease, and death. Happy 362nd day.

Day 361: The Mystery of December 27

0

Welcome to the 361st day of the year. Day 361 (362 in a leap year) is the fourth day of the 52nd week; and the 18th day in the last 22/23 days of the year. It is December 27 in a clear year and December 26 in a leap year.

Day 361 is a fourth season day; and has its pattern in the fourth day of creation, On the fourth day of creation, God made the luminaries to give light on the earth, to rule night and day, to divide between light and darkness, and to be for seasons. Have you ever wondered why God still needed to make the luminaries (sun, moon, and stars) after He had said “Let the be light” on the first day of creation? It seems the creation of the fourth day was a reinforcement of what God did on the first day. If God reinforced light on the fourth day, it must be to forestall a reinforcement or return of darkness. The fourth season is like a fight-back season for darkness. That is the reason the 4th book and chapters of Bible are about the adversary and adversities. Temptations and trials come in the fourth season. It would seem that men have their greatest struggles and failures in the fourth season. Men also have their greatest victories in the fourth season. Day 361 is for the dominion of light over darkness. It is a day of demonstrating the power of light over darkness; and the power of heat over cold. Day 361 is a day of living out the light and heat in you.

Day 361 is a book of Numbers day in the 52nd week. The book of Numbers is the fourth book of the Bible and is applicable to this fourth-season day. Israel’s greatest wilderness battles and victories are recorded in this book; including Israel’s momentous victory against Sihon, king of the Amorites; and Og king of Bashan. Israel’s greatest wilderness failures are also recorded in this book. Most of those who came out of Egypt perished in the wilderness in the book of Numbers. The book of Numbers is Israel’s book of temptations in the wilderness. You should focus on the triumphs and not the failures. Day 361 is for triumphing over trials and temptations. The fourth season may be a season of tests and trials but it is also for making history. Great and unprecedented things happen in the fourth season. Make history today by triumphing over circumstances as Joshua and Caleb did in the fourth book of the Bible.

Day 361 is a book of Job day in the last 22/23 days of the year. Job is the 18th book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 18th day in the last 22/23 days of the year. The book of Job is about greatness, misfortune, and restoration. Job was the greatest and wealthiest of the men of the East. He was also blameless before God. He was the holiest man of his time. Then Satan attacked his family, business, health, and relationships. Afterwards, God healed Job and restored his fortunes and glory. Day 361 is a day of triumph. It is a day of victory and testimonies.

Day 361 is a First-Thessalonians-chapter-four day. First Thessalonians is the 52nd book of the Bible; and the fourth chapter of the 52nd book is applicable to the fourth day of the 52nd week. In the fourth chapter of First Thessalonians, Paul wrote to enlighten and give direction to the saints. Ignorance is an expression of darkness. Paul wrote of the resurrection of the dead in Christ – at the coming of the Lord and catching away of the saints; and also calls the believers to walk worthy of the Lord. The fourth chapter of First Thessalonians calls believers to shine as light in the world by eschewing ungodliness and working diligently on their jobs. We shine as light by what we know and by how we live.

Day 361 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the 52nd week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fourth day of the week is the day closing the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the last nine books of the Old Testament. Today is the bridge-day leading to the New Testament side of the week. The books of ‘the minor prophets’ are part of the last 9 books of the O.T. They are about judgment and promises of restoration. Today is a day of the dominion of the Voice of God in the nations. Let His Voice also dominate in your life.

Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, raise your voice against wickedness and oppression wherever it is found. Prophesy! Prophesy!! Prophesy!!! Today, also pray to be more sensitive in the spirit; to pick up necessary signals that would help you triumph over the enemy and keep darkness away. Today, pray to be delivered from falling into temptation. Pray to be preoccupied with the person of God; and to be focused on His mandate and His revealed purpose for your life. Be careful to weigh every decision in light of God’s purpose for your life; and God’s purpose for the time. Today, proclaim an end to woes and declare the dawn of a new day. Day 361 is a day of light shining against darkness. It is not a day of sorrow and gloominess. Today, turn to the light in God’s word and enlighten yourself; then, release the light in you, by the way you live, to dispel the darkness of unbelief, confusion, and fear, around you. Stand against the darkness of death, sorrowing, and mourning. Happy 361st day.

On this day in 2019, in Kazakstan, a plane carrying about 100 people crashed and killed 12 people including the pilot.

Day 360: The Mystery of December 26

0

Welcome to the 360th day of the year. Day 360 is a game-changing day. It is the third day of the 52nd week; and the 17th day in the last 22/23 days of the year. It is a core third-season day; being the third day of the third week in the last 22/23 days. If our year runs on a 360-day calendar, today would be the end of the year. Day 360 is December 26 in a clear year and December 25 in a leap year.

Day 360, as a third season day, has its pattern in the event of the third day of creation. On the third day of creation, God did three things: He gathered the waters under heaven together in one place to form sea; He manifested the the dry ground and named it earth; and then, commanded the dry ground (earth) to bring forth grasses and trees. So, the third day of creation was the day of sea, earth, and vegetation. All three are life-sustainers. The third season day is for dismantling life-chocking hindrances, for raising solid platforms, and for providing and releasing sustenance. The third day of creation was God’s wealth-creation day. The wealth of this world is in the sea, on the dry ground, and in plants. Third season day is for deliverance from death and destruction.

The third season is a season of service platforms. It is a season of service. On third day of creation, God exposed the dry ground and made it the new platform for service. The dry ground has been in service since the third day of creation. The dry ground also brought forth vegetation and vegetation has been a great channel of service. Flowers also came into existence on the third day of creation.

Day 360 is a book of Leviticus day in the 52nd week (a book of First Thessalonians week). Leviticus is the third book of the Bible; and in this book, God chose the descendants of Levi, the third son of Jacob, to serve as priests and ministers of the sanctuary. Their ministry was for the spiritual sustenance of Israel.

Day 360 is a book of Esther day in the last 22/23 days of the year. The book of Esther is the 17th book of the Bible as Day 360 is the 17th day in the last 22/23 days of the year. The book of Esther is about overthrowing rebels and exalting the humble. It is about making a way for the obscure. The book is about destroying destroyers and delivering oppressed. It is about how the oppressed gained power over their oppressors. Day 360 is for making a 360 degrees turnaround; as in the book of Esther. Day 360 is for the triumph of the oppressed. Day 360 is a day of good news, joy, and gladness. Take a stand, in the spirit and in the place of prayer, for good news; and against sad news. Stand up for life and stand against death and destruction.

Day 360 is a First-Thessalonians-chapter-three day. The third chapter of the 52nd day is applicable to the third day of the 52nd week. Paul and his team left Thessalonica in a haste as a result of persecution. He was deeply concerned about the young church there. In the third chapter of First Thessalonians, when Paul “could no longer endure it” (his growing concern for the church), he sent Timothy to go and see to the welfare of the Church in Thessalonica. He returned with a good report that the church was doing very well. Paul and his team were encouraged by the report. It was the report from Timothy that gave birth to the 52nd book of the Bible. This letter to the Thessalonian church also brought encouragement to them concerning issues that had bothered them. May things happen today to comfort and encourage you; and quieter your heart from fear and anxiety. Today, may good news come to you about something for which you have been having concerns.

Day 360 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the 52nd week. The third day of the week is the third day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the third 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the third 10 books of the Bible, God sent His prophets to speak to the people. They confronted the people, warned them against judgment, comforted the faithful, and brought judgment on the arrogant. The third day is for the overthrow of the rebellious and establishment of the humble and just. How you fare in this season depends on your attitude and response to the word of God. This is a day of prophetic confrontation and judgment.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. This is a day of manifestation. Do not be afraid to take a stand for the Lord. It is a season to come out of hiding and obscurity. It is a day to overthrow oppression and the oppressor. It is a day to establish the humble. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, be ready to hear His voice and respond by faith. Expect breakthrough. Be willing to sacrifice. Walk by faith! This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the week. This is a day of unveiling. It is a day of answers to prayers. Today, pray for the overthrow of dysfunctional systems in the nations and in the church. Pray that God will make a way for the manifestation of hidden platforms and producers. Pray also that the forgotten functional people and things be remembered, recognized, and restored. Today, remember that when God delivers and manifests, it is for service and production. Do not consume His mercy on your lust. On this third day of the week, the oppressor will go down and the humble shall be delivered. Happy 360th day!

Day 359: The Mystery of the December 25

0

Welcome to the 359th day of the year! Day 359 (360 in a leap year) is the second day of the 52nd day. Today is the sixteenth day in the last 22/23 days of the year. This is Christmas Day! Day 359 is December 25 in a clear year and December 24 in a leap year.

Day 359 is a second season day; and has its pattern in the event of the second day of creation. The second day of creation was a day of battle for space. On the second day of creation, God made way where there is no way by creating the firmament to thwart the monopoly of the waters that seized all space and left no room. The second season is a season of helps and taking problems away – not a season of creating problems. In the second season, God sends help to the helpless. Jesus was born to make room for those who have no room in God. That is the reason he was born outside the inn. There was no room for him because He came to give room to many. Day 359 is a day to make room for those who have no room.

Day 359 is a book of Exodus day in the 52nd week. Exodus is the second book of the Bible; and is applicable to this second-season day. In this book, Israel’s Savior from slavery, Moses, is born. In this book, Moses and Israel received help to end about 400 years of slavery. God delivered Israel from Egyptian bondage in the second book of the Bible. Day 359 is for deliverance from bondage via weakening the oppressor.

Day 359 is a book of Nehemiah day in the last 22/23 days of the year. It is the sixteenth day as Nehemiah is the 16th book of the Bible. In the 16th book of the Bible, Nehemiah obtained help to go and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. He did not have the time or resources to do that; but as He sought God, Heaven made a way for him to desire of his heart. He battled great opposition to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Day 359 is for triumphing over opposition and barriers to the will of God. Nehemiah inconvenienced himself to seek the good of Judah, and take away reproach, by rebuilding what was broken down.

Day 359 is a First-Thessalonians-chapter-two day. The second chapter of the 52nd book of the Bible is applicable to the second day of the 52nd week of the year. The church at Thessalonica survived and prospered amid persecution and hindrances. Paul could not spend as much time as he wanted in ministering to the Thessalonians because of persecution. Even when he wanted to return to see them, Satan hindered him. The church thrived amid suffering.

In this chapter, also, Paul wrote about how he and his team were a help instead of a burden to the Thessalonians. Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 2:7-9, “But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children. [8] So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us. [9] For you remember, brethren, our labor and toil; for laboring night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God”. This is a day to eliminate burdens and hindrances from people. This is what Christmas is about. God came in the form of a man to take away the burdens of men; and wants us to make it a day of taking away the burdens of fellow men.

Day 359 is a day to be inconvenienced so that others may be comforted. Christmas is about making room for those who have no room. It is about delivering people from bondage and hardship. It is about doing for others what they cannot do for themselves. Make that difference today.

Day 359 is a First Kings – to – Proverbs Day in the 52nd week. The second day of the week is the second day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the second 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the second 10 books of the Bible, God wanted the kings of Israel to trust Him and lead the nation in the same direction. Beginning with Solomon, the kings of Israel began to patronize Idols. Idol worship became official in the northern kingdom following the split. Judah followed. Prophets rose in this season to call the nation back to God. Eventually, the two kingdoms went into captivity – the north fell to Assyria; and the south to the Babylonians. The Jews did return from captivity after 70 years. The last two books in this section of the Bible (Psalms and Proverbs) show that loss of faith in God is prelude to the loss of all things in the second season; but faith in God is the secret of power and strength. The faithful will triumph in the second season by the power and wisdom of God no matter what happens.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, declare that your faith will not fail; and that the faithful will triumph. Decree the downfall of those who disregard God and trust in themselves or idols, Today, prophesy against evil controlling powers and overthrow them by the word of the Lord. Mercy makes a way where there is no way. Today is a day of divine intervention and mercy. Today, release the word of the Lord against oppressive mountains in your life and in your world. Raise a cry to God against the proud and wicked in the land. Today, trust God to make a way where there is no way. Proclaim His word, Pray to Him. Praise Him! Happy 359th day!
