Day 253 is a first day of creation day. On the first day of creation, God released light against darkness. Darkness expresses itself through ignorance and deception. Light expresses itself through knowledge and truth. God is Light and the evil one is darkness. The first day, therefore, is a season of conflict between light and darkness, knowledge and ignorance, truth and error, love and hate. Day 253 is a season of triumph over darkness; as Light defeated darkness on the first day of creation.
Day 253 is a book of Ruth day. Ruth is the 8th book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 8th day in the sixth 49 days of the year. The book of Ruth is about a miscalculated move a family made because of pressure and famine in Judah. The man, his wife, and their two sons moved to Moab. The two young men took wives from Moab. That was a second wrong move. Tragedy followed. The man and his two sons died; leaving the mother of the house and her two young childless daughters in-law. When the older woman heard that the Lord had visited Judah, she decided to return to Judah. Her two younger daughters in-law wanted to return with her. She discouraged them. One left and the other stayed. Her name is the of the book. She followed her mother in-law back to Judah. The book is not about Elimelech, Naomi, and their two sons; but about Ruth – the young woman from Moab who connected to her destiny through disaster and tragedy. Through Naomi’s assistance, she married Boaz; a kinsman of Elimelech; in whose farm she had gone to work to support herself and her mother in-law. Boaz and Ruth became the great grandparents of king David and consequently were in the genealogy of Jesus of Nazareth. The story of Ruth began with darkness overtaking a family but ended with light triumphing over darkness in the family. Ruth had a positive new beginning following disaster and tragedy. You do not have to give room to darkness on this 253rd day. Walk in the Light of God and let His Spirit guide your decisions. Do not be be deceived by pressure from circumstances. Have a God-reason for any decision you make today. Day 253 is not a season to move from Bethlehem-Judah (the house of Praise) to Moab (the house of shameful incest – seed of father and daughter). Judah and Lot had their children from incestous relationships; but going from Judah to Moab is like making a downward spiritual move from Abraham to Lot.
Day 253 is a Haggai 1:1-6 day. Haggai is the 37th book of the Bible; and the first section of the 37th book of the Bible is applicable to the first day of the 37th week. The first day of the week is a day of the visitation of light. Light delivers from darkness, confusion, deception, and error. Light helps you to see yourself, where you are, and the things around you. In the 37th book of the Bible, God’s people were going through a hard time but didn’t know where their troubles came from until Prophet Haggai brought light by the revelation from God. Haggai 1:1-6 says, “In the second year of King Darius, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying, [2] “Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying: ‘This people says, “The time has not come, the time that the LORD’s house should be built.”‘” [3] Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, [4] “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?” [5] Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways! [6] “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” This section of the 37th book reveals that Day 253 is not a day to neglect the House of God. This is a day to give attention to the House of God or House of Prayer in your life. Do not allow pressures, fears, or pleasures drive you away from the House of Prayer for all Nations.
Give attention to prayer today. It will save lives. On this day, Monday, September 10, 2018, there was a gas explosion at Monaco Gas Station, Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Nine people died and several others were injured. Perhaps, the House of prayer in the area could have made a difference in the land.
Day 253 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 36th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The first day of the week is the beginning of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the first 10 books of the Bible, God revealed Himself as Creator and Caretaker. He chose those who aligned with His purpose for blessings; and reserved judgment for those who disregard Him. The first 10 books began with the creation and fall of the man in the image and likeness of God; and ended with the emergence of the man after God’s heart sitting on the throne of God’s choice nation. David was absolutely loyal to God. He gave himself for whatever God wanted. This is a day of aligning with God and becoming a man (woman) after His heart.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the 37th week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Your loyalty to God and people must shine forth. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week. Call upon Him for mercy. Happy 253rd Day!
