Welcome to the 217th day of the year! Day 217 is the seventh and last day of the 31st week, the seventh day of the third week in the fifth 49 days, the 21st day in the fifth 49 days. Day 217 is August 5 in a clear year; and August 4 in a leap year. The Bible patterns for understanding the day are the seventh day of creation narrative, the 21st book of the Bible, and the 21st chapters of the Bible.
Day 217 is a seventh day of creation day. It is a seventh-season day. God ended the work of creation on the seventh day and rested. Then He blessed the day and sanctified it. The seventh season is an end-time season. It is the day for accomplishing or ending the task of the 31st week. It is for ensuring what needs to be done in the week is done. This is the day to close the books of the 31st week. The 31st season is for overthrowing oppression and wickedness, manifesting the humble and obscure, and for production. It is a season of releasing people to possess their possessions. Day 217 is the day of rest in the 31st week. May it be a day of rest indeed. May it be a season of intervention. May the dreams of the week become reality. May this seventh day of the 31st week not be a day of disasters and unrest without intervention. The devil lures men away from the rest of the season through rebellion and sacrilege.
The Seventh book and chapters of the Bible reveal that disasters requiring intervention may happen in seventh seasons. On the seventh week of 2005, the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Rafic Hariri, was assassinated alongside 21 others in a catastrophic bombing of his convoy.
Day 217 is a book of Ecclesiastes day. The 21st book of the Bible is Ecclesiastes; and is applicable to the 21st day in the fifth 49 days of the year. confirms this too. It is the work of a man who could say, “I have seen it all”. The conclusion of the book of Ecclesiastes is that to fear God and keep His commandments is the whole duty of man; and that every work of man would come before God for judgment. This agrees with the 31st book of the Bible, Obadiah. The 31st book of the Bible which is applicable to the 31st week ends with “And the Kingdom shall be the Lord’s”. God takes over from man in the 21st season. May the “vanity of vanity; all is vanity” hopelessness in the book of Ecclesiastes, not be part of this day.
Day 217 is a 21st chapters of the Bible day. This is because Day 217 is also the 21st day in the fifth 49 days of the year. The 21st chapters of the Bible reveal that the 21st season is a season of (1) fulfilling the promise, delivering the expectation, receiving answers to prayers, and declaring “it is done”; (2) triumph over death; (3) judgment against wickedness, pride, and oppression; (4) discovery, recovery, and restoration.
Day 217 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 31st week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. Day 217 is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the 31st week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to please God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. Seek intervention and be ready to intervene where necessary and possible. Today, reach out to stand in the gap for people. Also prophesy against walls and forces that stand against the counsel of God in the land and in the lives of people. May this last day of the week be the end of the week’s toil. May it be a blessed day of rest for you. Today, may the Lord be glorified in the eyes and hearts of those who know Him. Happy 217th day!
BORN ON THIS DAY? You were born in this season for a reason. The day you were born has something to do with your mission on earth. It is because of who you are and why you are that you came in this season. You were born to be a savior and a deliverer – just as the 31st book of the Bible, Obadiah, surmised: “Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion To judge the mountains of Esau, And the kingdom shall be the LORD’s” (Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion To judge the mountains of Esau, And the kingdom shall be the LORD’s” (Obadiah 1:21). As God raised Judges for Israel in the seventh book of the Bible and as Jesus helped the distressed on the seventh day of the week, saviors come in the seventh seasons like Day 217. You were born to be distinguished for God. You were set apart to bring people into rest through Intervention.
