Day 138: The Mystery of May 18

0

Welcome to the 138th day of the year! Day 138 is the fifth day of the 20th week. It is the 40th day in the third 7 weeks of the year. It is a fifth season day. It is may 18 in a Clear Year and May 17 in a Leap Year. Both the fifth and fortieth seasons are turn-around seasons. Day 138 is a turning point in the 20th week of the year.

The Biblical patterns for Day 138 are 1) the fifth day of creation, 2) the fifth section of the 20th book of the Bible, 3) the 138 Psalm, 4) the 40th book of the Bible (Matthew) and 5) the first 9 books of the New Testament. The five patterns agree and give a broad perspective of the day or season.

1. Day 138 is a fifth day of creation day in the 20th week. God made birds and seas creatures on the fifth day of creation. The fifth day of creation was the beginning of flesh and blood, movement, balance, voice sound, sensory perception. It was also the beginning of blessings. God did not bless creation until the fifth day. Day 138 is a day of new beginnings. It is a season of abundant life – expressing life to the full. Use your brain, use your senses, use your body. This is a day to watch and pray and act against things that hinder the full expression of life – disease, death, disasters, destruction and destitution. This is a day to watch against the manifestations of the flesh. God made two categories of living creatures on this day. The sea creatures represent the flesh. The birds of the air represent spirit. Your spirit should soar higher than your flesh today.

2 Day 138 is a Psalm 138 day. Psalm 138 is a departure from the first four psalms of the 20th seven psalms (134-140). The first three were exhortations to praise God  and give thanks to Him. The fourth was a recount of pain and tears. This fifth psalm is a resolve to praise God for benefits received. “I will praise…I will sing…I will worship…and praise”. It was on the fifth day of creation that God began to make creatures capable of making decisions. The psalmist resolved to praise God with his whole heart and also before the gods.

Psalm 138:1-3 says, “I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You. [2] I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. [3] In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul”.

The fifth season is a time to prophesy and make decrees. In Psalm 138:4-5, the psalmist prophesied that “All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD, When they hear the words of Your mouth. [5] Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD.

The fifth season is a time to  verbally express confidence in God. Psalm 138:6-8 says, “[6] Though the LORD is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar”. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. [8] The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands”.

Today, PRAISE Him, PROPHESY His triumph over all the earth and PROCLAIM your faith and confidence in Him. .

3. Day 138 is a Proverbs 20-23 day in the 20th week. The 5th section of the 20th book of the Bible is applicable to the 5th day of the 20th week of the year. This section of the book has several assertions and little instruction. The assertions (laws) state the truth about paths and destinations and leave us with choices to make decisions. Day 138 is a day of making informed and balanced decisions. You can choose to go up or go down.

4. Day 138 is a Book of Matthew day in the third 7 weeks of the year. Matthew is the 40th book of the Bible and is applicable to the 40th day in the third 7 weeks of the year. Day 138 is not only the beginning of the New Testament side of the 20th week; it is also the beginning of the New Testament side of the third seven weeks of the year. The 40th book of the Bible makes references to several Old Testament prophecies fulfilled in the ministry of Jesus. This indicates that Day 138 is a day of fulfillment of promises and prophecies. This is a New beginning in the third 7 weeks of the year.

5. Day 138 is Matthew – Galatians day in the 20th week. Going through every week is like taking a prophetic journey through the Bible – with the Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and expresses the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fifth day of the week is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the first nine books of the New Testament. The first 9 books of the NT are about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Church. The books are about the love and grace of God granting salvation and justification to humanity by faith. This is a day to enter experientially into the New Testament side of the week. It is a day of answers to prayers, fulfillment of prophecies, and delivery of promises. The New Testament side is the spiritual and deeper side. The New Testament side is the side of manifestation. The old has passed away; and the new has begun. Dreams for the week are expected to come to pass and promises should be fulfilled. This is a day of the compassionate intervention of God. Expect deliverance and divine intervention. Psalm 138:3 says, “In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul”.

DECREE AND DECLARE: At creation, God spoke His will into each day. He made us in His image and likeness; and expects us to release His will into each day. Decree, this day, that the flesh will not overtake the spirit in your life, family,, organisation, and nation. Decree a change in the week and declare that today is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week. As a Book-of-Matthew day, decree that Emmanuel (God is with us) takes over. As a New Testament type day, decree that the love of God will overtake human error and failure. Today, submit to the spirit against the flesh. Walk in the spirit and make no room for the flesh. The fifth season is a season of giving spiritual interpretations to earthly manifestations. Today, make it your watchword to walk in the spirit and obey God’s Word. Walking in the spirit is the key to gaining all. Birds (representing the spirit) fly above and eat from the land, the sea, and the air. Today, cry out to God against oppression and for the pains in your life. Speak out also. Trust Him to intervene in your affairs and in the affairs of people around you. Determine to make a next-level move. It’s time to shift base in the spirit! Today, put yourself on the side of blessing by choosing obedience instead of curses by choosing disobedience. Have a happy 138th day!
