Welcome to the 125th day of the year! Day 125 is the sixth day of the eighteenth week; the sixth day of the fourth week in the third 49 days; the 27th day in third 49 days. It is May 5 in a clear year; and May 4 in a leap year. The Bible keys for understanding the 125th day are the sixth day of creation narrative, the 125th psalm, and the sixth six chapters (31-36) of the eighteenth book of the Bible – Job.
Day 125 is a sixth day of creation Day in the 18th week. God completed the creation of flesh on the sixth day. The sixth day is the ‘closing day’ for flesh. He also created Man in His image and likeness on the sixth day. The sixth season always showcases God’s agent and representative for the season. The sixth day of the week is a day of dominion over ungodly rebellious forces. The Creator favors people and things that bear His semblance in the sixth season; because the sixth season is the season of His image and likeness. This is also a day of grace because though man came last in creation, God made him the first; and all things were ready before man came. God made all things for man before man existed.
Day 125 is a Job 31-36 day in the 18th week. The sixth 6 chapters of the eighteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the sixth day of the eighteenth week of the year. Job’s rhetoric ended in the 31st chapter. Elihu, who was not named as one of the friends of Job, began his six-chapter-long speech. Like a mediator, he was neither for Job nor Job’s friends. God also never rebuked or condemned him in this book. He was the man in God’s image in this book. He was the forerunner of God’s intervention in this book. After him, God took over. He prepared the way of the Lord into Job’s life. This is a day to say, “enough is enough”. Happy 125th day. On this day in 2019, Israel and the Palestinians clashed for the second day in the Gaza Strip and Southern Israel area. It was about “the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous”. Day 125 is inheritance-defense day.
Day 125 is Ephesians – Philemon Day in the 18th week. Going through every week is like going through the Bible – each day of week expressing ten or nine books of the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week is the Old Testament side of the week. The Last three days of the week is the New Testament side. Day 125 (the sixth day of the week) expresses the sixth division of the Bible – the second 9 books of the New Testament. The books emphasize grace and government. In those books, Paul gives instructions about how the church (a people saved by grace) should operate. He teaches leadership and submission in the books. Day 125 is a day of government and orderliness. It is a day of instructions. The pastoral epistles belong to this division of Bible books.
Day 125 is a book of Daniel day in the third season (52 days) of the year. Daniel is the 27th book of the Bible and applies to the 27th day in the third 52 days of the year. Daniel was God’s representative in Babylon. He stood for God at all times and turned kings and nations to stand with him. He was uncompromising in his loyalty to God. He went to Babylon as captive but end up as a highly esteemed ruler. Daniel was blessed with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Day 125 is a day to prosper through loyalty to God.
Day 125 is a Psalm 125 day. This psalm is about the invincibility of the one who trusts in God. The sixth season is when God backs men to possess their possessions. The righteous are invincible in the sixth season.
Everyone does not trust in God. Some trust in horses and chariots. Some trust in men. Some trust in money. Some trust in their learning and understanding. Some trust in themselves. Some trust in idols. This promise is for those who trust with all their heart according to Proverbs 3:5 reveals that how to trust in God is to do it with all your heart. It is to have your heart stayed on Him. It is to rest in Him.
HOW TO EXPRESS THAT YOU TRUST IN GOD.
1. Prayer: consulting God.
2. The Word: giving priority to reading or hearing it.
3. Obedience: Doing what God says.
“Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity. Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, And to those who are upright in their hearts. As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, The LORD shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!”.
Psalm 125 can be applied to the sixth fourteen years of the 18th century (1771-1784). This covers the season of America’s war of independence in which Britain was defeated and lost the colonies. God defended the Americans because “the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. Today, show that your primary allegiance is to the God of Israel. You are made in the image and likeness of God. This is a day to commemorate and relive the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. Today, make your way back to the Lord. Even if you are not a backslider, you can still get closer to the goal of expressing the Lord – as His image and likeness. Today, stand out for God as His representative and look into your life, and look around, for things and areas that need to be conformed to God’s standards. Today, pray that the kingdom comes, by the word of God, to establish God’s will in your life, family, church, community, nation; and in the nations of the world. Today, trust in God’s power to defend you and all yours. Also stand faithful and loyal to Him. This is a day of confident loyalty. It is a day to be defended by God. Happy 125th day.
