Day 119: The Mystery of April 28

0

Welcome to the 119th day of the year! Day 119 is the seventh day of the seventeenth week. It is also the 21st day (seventh day of the third week) in the third 49 days of year. It is a seventh-season day. Day 119 is April 29 in a clear year; and April 28 in a leap year. The key Bible patterns for understanding the 119th day are the seventh day of creation narrative, Psalm 119, and the last chapter of the book of Esther, the 21st book of the Bible, and the last nine books of the Bible.

Day 119 is a seventh day of creation day in the 17th week. God did four things on the seventh day of creation:

1. He ended the work of creation. So, the seventh season is an end-time.

2. He rested. So, the seventh season is a season of mandatory rest to commemorate God’s rest. Day 119 is a day to enter into the rest of God for the week.

3. He blessed the seventh day. So, the seventh day is not just a season of blessings; it is a blessed season. Day 119 is a blessed day.

4. He sanctified the seventh day. So, the seventh season is a sacred season. The seventh season is Holy to the Lord.

God intends Day 119 to be a blessed day rather than a day of curses. He made it to be a holy day of pursuing His pleasure alone. He wants it to be a day of rest from toils and labors. Faith in the word of God, announcing and revealing the will and work of God, is one way to enter into the rest God intends for this season.

Day 119 is an Esther 10 day in the 17th week. In the last section (tenth chapter) of the 17th book of the Bible. In the tenth chapter, Mordecai became the king’s deputy and ruler of the land. The land and the people rested from trouble. Esther 10:1-3 says, “And King Ahasuerus imposed tribute on the land and on the islands of the sea. Now all the acts of his power and his might, and the account of the greatness of Mordecai, to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia? For Mordecai the Jew was second to King Ahasuerus, and was great among the Jews and well received by the multitude of his brethren, seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his countrymen”. Day 119 is a day of triumph and rest from the troubles of the week.

Day 119 is a book of Ecclesiastes day in the third 49 days of the year. The 21st book of the Bible is applicable to the 21st day in the third 49 days. The book of Ecclessistes is about the answer to the meaning of life and existence. Life is not about power, possessions, or pleasure. It is aboit fulfilling the purpose and pleasure of the Creator. Everything ends with God. Day 119 is a day of preoccupation with God’s word. Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all”.

Day 119 is a Psalm 119 day. The 119th psalm is applicable to the 119th day of the year. This is a seventh-season psalm. Psalm 119 is longest communion-prayer in the Bible. 173 verses of communion with God! It opens with “Blessed are the undefined in the way”. It is the longest psalm and chapter of the Bible. This psalm is about the perfect, seven-dimensional, word of God (law, commandments, precepts, statutes, testimonies, Word, judgments). Holding on to the word is the way to peace and rest in the seventh season. Nothing else matters as the word of God in a seventh season. Psalm 119 is communion with God about the perfection and sufficiency of God’s word and the psalmist’s confidence in, and commitment to, the Word. He tells God how he delights and trusts in the Word, how he hopes in it, how it has helped him, how he longs for it, and expects it to be fulfilled in his life. Psalm 119 is a dedicated chapter of the Bible. It is dedicated to the Word of God in all its forms (law, commandments, statutes, precepts, testimonies, judgments, word, ordinances). Day 119 is like a holy day given to meditation on the word of God. Day 119 is a Word-of-God day. Psalm 119 is the outpouring of a heart that cherishes God’s Word to God Himself. He poured out his heart to God about God’s Word. This psalm has 22 divisions expressing the comprehensiveness of the word of God. Psalm 119 has 22 sections of 8 verses each. Each section has a Hebrew letter for a title. The Hebrew alphabet has 22 letters. Psalm 119 teaches that God’s word runs from the beginning to the end as in A-Z (or Aleph and Tav). Day 119 is an end-day for concluding the work of the week; and it should end with credits to, and preoccupation wiith, God’s word. It is a day to commune with the Creator and stay your heart on the word.

Day 119 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 17th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. The last 9 books of the Bible are books of correction, recovery and restoration in the New Testament. They are end time books. Day 119 is a day of recovery and making all things new. Today is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Day 119 is a day of ultimate triumph. It is a day to take delivery of promises. It is a day to have and to become. It is a day of communion with God. It is a day of meditation on the word of God. It is a day to be spent in God’s presence. Happy 119th day!
