Welcome to the 101st day of the year! Day 101 is the third day of the fifteenth week. It is the game-changing day in the week. It is also the third day in the third 49 days of the year. Day 101 is April 11 in a clear year; and April 10 in a leap year. The Bible keys for understanding Day 101 are the third day of creation narrative, Psalm 101, and the third two chapters of the fifteenth book of the Bible.
Day 101 is a third day of creation day. On the third day of creation, God commanded the dry ground to bring forth vegetation. The third season is a season of responsibility. It is a season to take responsibility for spiritual production. God called Moses in the third chapter of Exodus; called Samuel in the third chapter of First Samuel, called John the Baptist and Jesus of Nazareth in the third chapters of Matthew and Luke. God expected Adam and Eve to bring forth fruits of loyalty and commitment to Him in the third chapter of Genesis; but they brought forth rebellion. Day 101 is the game-changing day in the 15th week.
The third season is for decisive actions. On the third day of creation, God set boundaries that cannot be passed for the waters; and made dry ground a stable platform for all kinds of work. God overthrows repressive forces in the third season. When the third king of Israel, Solomon, emerged, he was ruthless with the wicked. He eliminated ambitious and evil men around him. That was a third-season operation.
Day 101 is a Psalm 101 day. Psalm 101 is a psalm of resolves. In Psalm 101, the psalmist takes responsibility for things that needed to be done. Three things stand out this in psalm: responsibility to the Lord, responsibility to self, and responsibility to society. Ten times in this psalm, the phrase, “I will” or “I shall” is used.
1. RESPONSIBILITY TO SING TO THE LORD
Psalm 101:1: says, “I will sing of mercy and justice; To You, O LORD, I will sing praises”. This is a season to act responsibly in matters relating to worshipping God.
2. RESPONSIBILITY TO BEHAVE WISELY AND WALK UPRIGHTLY
Psalm 101:2 says, “I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart”. This is a season to act responsibly regarding my own behavior. It is my choice how I live; so I must take responsibility, before God, how I live.
3. RESPONSIBILITY TO UPROOT THE WICKED AND ESTABLISH THE RIGHTEOUS
Psalm 101:3-8 says, “I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me. [4] A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know wickedness. [5] Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, Him I will destroy; The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, Him I will not endure. [6] My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, That they may dwell with me; He who walks in a perfect way, He shall serve me. [7] He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who tells lies shall not continue in my presence. [8] Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land, That I may cut off all the evildoers from the city of the LORD”.
Today is a day of decisive action. You must take responsibility for how you live with the people around you. You must choose to honor the godly against the wicked. You cannot afford to treat the faithful and unfaithful alike. This is a day to overthrow and to establish. It is a day to uproot and to plant.
Day 101 is an Ezra 5-6 day in the 15th week. The third two chapters of the fifteenth book of the Bible is applicable to the third day of the fifteenth week. In the two chapter,s, the Jews restarted the work through the encouragement of the prophets Haggai and Zechariah. Their adversaries rose again and petitioned the king against the Jews. To the shame of the adversaries, a royal decree was made that the work should continue without stopping; and that it should be funded from the King’s treasury. That was how the Jews won the last battle against opposition. The adversaries never showed up again because the king decreed they should stay far away from the work. The third season is the game-changing season. It is for taking decisive steps. In the 101st year of the United States (January 8), Indian ‘Crazy Horse’ fought his last battle with the United States Cavalry in the Battle of Wold Mountain. By May 6, 1877, Chief Crazy Horse of the Oglala Sioux surrendered to the US troops in Nebraska because he saw his people were weakened by hunger and cold. Today, may your adversary in the 15th week be weakened to surrender. This is the day of the last battle in the 15th week.
Day 101 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the 15th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The third day of the week is the third day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the third 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the third 10 books of the Bible, God sent His prophets to speak to the people. They confronted the people, warned them against judgment, comforted the faithful, and brought judgment on the arrogant. The third day is for the overthrow of the rebellious and establishment of the humble and just. How you fare in this season depends on your attitude and response to the word of God. This is a day of prophetic confrontation and judgment. The major prophets – Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, ministered in the third ten books of the Bible.
Day 101 is a day of the voice of God. Receive strength from God’s word. On this day of decisive action, ask the Lord for strength and courage to do the things you should. Overthrow the things that need to be overthrown and plant the things that should be planted.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. This is a day of manifestation. Do not be afraid to take a stand for the Lord. It is a season to come out of hiding and obscurity. It is a day to overthrow oppression and the oppressor. It is a day to establish the humble. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, be ready to hear His voice and respond by faith. Expect breakthrough. Be willing to sacrifice. Walk by faith! This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the week. This is a day of unveiling. It is a day of answers to prayers. Today, pray for the overthrow of dysfunctional systems in the nations and in the church. Pray that God will make a way for the manifestation of hidden platforms and producers. Pray also that the forgotten functional people and things be remembered, recognized, and restored. Today, remember that when God delivers and manifests, it is for service and production. Do not consume His mercy on your lust. On this third day of the week, the oppressor will go down and the humble shall be delivered. Happy 101st day!
