Day 227: The Mystery of August 15

0

Welcome to a new day!

FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY: These will help you to view the day from its different angles.

Today Is

  1. August 15 (in a Clear year) but August 14 (in a Leap year).

2. The third day of the 33rd Week (August 13-19 in a Clear year/ August 12-18 in a Leap year).

3. The 31st day in the fifth 7 Weeks of the year. (July 16 – September 2 in a clear year/ July 15 – September 1 in a leap year).

4. The 227th day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 227

5. it is a third-season day since it is the third day of the 33rd week of the year.

SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 227th day are

1. The third day of creation narrative.(Genesis 1: 9-13)

2. The third book of the Bible (Leviticus)

3. The third chapters of the books of the Bible.

4. Micah 3 (the third chapter of the 33rd book of the Bible).

5. The 31st book of the Bible (Obadiah) and 31st chapters of the Bible.

6. The third 10 books of the Old Testament (‘Ecclesiastes – Amos).

Day 227 is a third day of creation day. God ended His battle against the waters on the third day of creation. On that day, He commanded the waters under heaven to be gathered together in one place. Then He commanded the dry ground to appear and bring forth vegetation. After the third day of creation, the dry ground became exposed to the heaven; and both platforms could have unhindered communion. Day 227 is for dismantling over-head barriers. It is for removing oppressive veils and coverings; and giving platform to what had been hidden and obscure, As a third season day, It is the season for the completion of what is begun on the second season. On the second day of creation, God commenced the battle against the waters. On the third day, He completed the battle against the waters; and gave dry ground its place. This is the day for the wicked to be overthrown and for the humble to possess their possessions. This is a day of vengeance against wickedness.

Day 227 is a Micah chapter 3 day. The third chapter of Micah is God’s word against the leaders sitting over the people – the heads of the house of Jacob, the prophets, and judges. Micah 3:1-12 says, “And I said: “Hear now, O heads of Jacob, And you rulers of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know justice? You who hate good and love evil; Who strip the skin from My people, And the flesh from their bones; Who also eat the flesh of My people, Flay their skin from them, Break their bones, And chop them in pieces Like meat for the pot, Like flesh in the caldron.” Then they will cry to the LORD, But He will not hear them; He will even hide His face from them at that time, Because they have been evil in their deeds. Thus says the LORD concerning the prophets Who make my people stray; Who chant “Peace” While they chew with their teeth, But who prepare war against him Who puts nothing into their mouths: “Therefore you shall have night without vision, And you shall have darkness without divination; The sun shall go down on the prophets, And the day shall be dark for them. So the seers shall be ashamed, And the diviners abashed; Indeed they shall all cover their lips; For there is no answer from God.” But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the LORD, And of justice and might, To declare to Jacob his transgression And to Israel his sin. Now hear this, You heads of the house of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel, Who abhor justice And pervert all equity, Who build up Zion with bloodshed And Jerusalem with iniquity: Her heads judge for a bribe, Her priests teach for pay, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the LORD, and say, “Is not the LORD among us? No harm can come upon us.” Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed like a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins, And the mountain of the temple Like the bare hills of the forest”.

Day 227 is for the dismantling of dysfunctional platforms and raising or establishing new platforms.

Day 227 is a book-of-Obadiah day. Obadiah is the 31st book of the Bible; and is about God’s reaction against Edom and about God’s promise of deliverance to Israel. It is about bringing Edom down and raising Jacob up. This one-chapter book can be divided into three broad section. The first section (1-9) is about God’s plan against Edom. The second part (10-16) is about what Edom did to Judah; which is the reason for God’s reaction. The third part (17-21) is about God’s Plan to deliver and restore the house of Jacob.

GOD’S JUDGMENT AGAINST EDOM

Obadiah 1:1-9 says, “The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord GOD concerning Edom (We have heard a report from the LORD, And a messenger has been sent among the nations, saying, “Arise, and let us rise up against her for battle”): [2] “Behold, I will make you small among the nations; You shall be greatly despised. [3] The pride of your heart has deceived you, You who dwell in the clefts of the rock, Whose habitation is high; You who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’ [4] Though you ascend as high as the eagle, And though you set your nest among the stars, From there I will bring you down,” says the LORD. [5] “If thieves had come to you, If robbers by night- Oh, how you will be cut off!- Would they not have stolen till they had enough? If grape-gatherers had come to you, Would they not have left some gleanings? [6] “Oh, how Esau shall be searched out! How his hidden treasures shall be sought after! [7] All the men in your confederacy Shall force you to the border; The men at peace with you Shall deceive you and prevail against you. Those who eat your bread shall lay a trap for you. No one is aware of it. [8] “Will I not in that day,” says the LORD, “Even destroy the wise men from Edom, And understanding from the mountains of Esau? [9] Then your mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, To the end that everyone from the mountains of Esau May be cut off by slaughter.”

THE REASON FOR GOD’S JUDGMENT

Obadiah 1:10-16 says, “For violence against your brother Jacob, Shame shall cover you, And you shall be cut off forever. [11] In the day that you stood on the other side- In the day that strangers carried captive his forces, When foreigners entered his gates And cast lots for Jerusalem- Even you were as one of them. [12] “But you should not have gazed on the day of your brother In the day of his captivity; Nor should you have rejoiced over the children of Judah In the day of their destruction; Nor should you have spoken proudly In the day of distress. [13] You should not have entered the gate of My people In the day of their calamity. Indeed, you should not have gazed on their affliction In the day of their calamity, Nor laid hands on their substance In the day of their calamity. [14] You should not have stood at the crossroads To cut off those among them who escaped; Nor should you have delivered up those among them who remained In the day of distress. [15] “For the day of the LORD upon all the nations is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you; Your reprisal shall return upon your own head. [16] For as you drank on My holy mountain, So shall all the nations drink continually; Yes, they shall drink, and swallow, And they shall be as though they had never been

THE RESTORATION OF THE HOUSE OF JACOB

Obadiah 1:17-21 says, “But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, And there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. [18] The house of Jacob shall be a fire, And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau shall be stubble; They shall kindle them and devour them, And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,” For the LORD has spoken. [19] The South shall possess the mountains of Esau, And the Lowland shall possess Philistia. They shall possess the fields of Ephraim And the fields of Samaria. Benjamin shall possess Gilead. [20] And the captives of this host of the children of Israel Shall possess the land of the Canaanites As far as Zarephath. The captives of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad Shall possess the cities of the South. [21] Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion To judge the mountains of Esau, And the kingdom shall be the LORD’s.

The 31st is an end! The longest month ends on the 31st day. The book Proverbs illustrates this: it ends at the 31st chapter; that last chapter ends at the 31st verse. This is a day of overthrow.

Day 227 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the 33rd week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The third day of the week is the third day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the third 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the third 10 books of the Bible, God sent His prophets to speak to the people. They confronted the people, warned them against judgment, comforted the faithful, and brought judgment on the arrogant. The third day is for the overthrow of the rebellious and establishment of the humble and just. How you fare in this season depends on your attitude and response to the word of God. This is a day of prophetic confrontation and judgment.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. This is a day of manifestation. Do not be afraid to take a stand for the Lord. It is a season to come out of hiding and obscurity. It is a day to overthrow oppression and the oppressor. It is a day to establish the humble. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, be ready to hear His voice and respond by faith. Expect breakthrough. Be willing to sacrifice. Walk by faith! This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the 33rd week. This is a day of unveiling. It is a day of answers to prayers. Today, pray for the overthrow of dysfunctional systems in the nations and in the church. Pray that God will make a way for the manifestation of hidden platforms and producers. Pray also that the forgotten functional people and things be remembered, recognized, and restored. Today, remember that when God delivers and manifests, it is for service and production. Do not consume His mercy on your lust. Today, this 31st day in the fifth 49 days, let your Edom fall like Balaam in Numbers 31; and like Saul in First Samuel 31; and let Zion possess her possessions. Let new wine in new wine-skins appear to replace the old. Happy 227th day!

On this day in 2021, the Taliban took over the capital city of Afghanistan. The former President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, fled Kabul for the Taliban – marking the end of the 20-year Afghanistan war.

BORN ON THIS DAY? You were born in this season for a reason. The day of your birth says a lot about who you are and why you came. You were born to close a chapter or page. You were born to end one thing and start another. You were born to take down hindrances and open doors for the hindered. You were born to help others become who they were made to be. As you receive help to come into your place, you must make way for others to rise to their places in life. Do not become a hindrance to growth or progress. Do not sit over the lives of people for the sake of it. Today, give thanks to the Almighty for your life and pray that your life will fulfill the purpose of your Maker and Sustainer. Happy birthday!

Day 210: The Mystery of July 29

0

Welcome to the 210th day of the year! Day 210 is the seventh and last day of the thirtieth week, the seventh day in the second week in the fifth 49 days, the fourteenth day of the fifth. Day 210 is a seventh season day. It is July 29 in a clear year and July 28 in a leap year.

The key Bible patterns for understanding Day 210 are

The 7th day of creation narrative

The 14th book and 14th chapters of the Bible

The 7-9th chapters of the 30th book of the Bible.

Day 210 is a seventh day of creation day in the 30th week. On the seventh day of creation, God end the work He had finished and then rested. He blessed the seventh day and made it holy because he rested on it. The seventh signifies an end – of trouble, of toiling, of struggles, or of waiting. God said the walls of Jericho would collapse after Israel marched around it seven days and seven times on the seventh day. It did. Elisha said Naaman would be healed if he dipped himself in Jordan seven times. It happened. Jesus healed many sick people on the Sabbath – to end their affliction and give them rest. In the seventh season, there is intervention to end affliction. God raised Judges in the seventh book of the Bible to deliver Israel from her enemies and oppressors, In the seventh season, the enemy comes under pressure and often comes to an end. Day 210 is the last day in a week of conflict and breaking monopolies. May your struggles come to an end today.

Day 210 is Amos 9 day in the 30th week. The last and seventh-division chapter of the 30th book of the Bible is applicable to the seventh and last day of the 30th week.

Amos 9:1-4,8-10 says, “I saw the Lord standing by the altar, and He said: “Strike the doorposts, that the thresholds may shake, And break them on the heads of them all. I will slay the last of them with the sword. He who flees from them shall not get away, And he who escapes from them shall not be delivered. [2] “Though they dig into hell, From there My hand shall take them; Though they climb up to heaven, From there I will bring them down; [3] And though they hide themselves on top of Carmel, From there I will search and take them; Though they hide from My sight at the bottom of the sea, From there I will command the serpent, and it shall bite them; Though they go into captivity before their enemies, From there I will command the sword, And it shall slay them. I will set My eyes on them for harm and not for good.” …”Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are on the sinful kingdom, And I will destroy it from the face of the earth; Yet I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,” Says the LORD. [9] “For surely I will command, And will sift the house of Israel among all nations, As grain is sifted in a sieve; Yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say, ‘The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.’

It is costly to get in the way of God in the seventh season.

Day 210 is a Second Chronicles day in the fifth 49 days of the year. The book of Second Chronicles is the 14th book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 14th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. The 14th chapters of the Bible are also applicable to this day. The fourteenth season is a season that demands intervention. Without intervention, it is a hopeless day. Abraham intervened to rescue Lot in Genesis 14. The Passover happened on the 14 day of the month. Israel was saved by the Lord when God went to kill the firstborn of Egyptians. In Exodus 14, God intervened to lead Israel across the Red Sea. In Numbers 14, God vowed that those Israelites who rejected the Promised Land would perish in the wilderness. Moses interceded but he didn’t change much. In Judges 14, Samson began to fight against the Philistines to save Israel. In First Samuel 14, Jonathan and his armor-bearer intervened for Israel against the Philistines. In Second Samuel 14, a wise woman intervened to have David forgive Absalom. In Job 14, God’s servant is preoccupied with the hopelessness of death. In Acts 14, Paul intervened to heal a 40 year old man that had never walked. Revelation 14 is John’s vision of the bloody reaping of the earth’s harvest. Judah went to captivity in the 14th book of the Bible. The 14th century was the century of the Black Death. The 14th year of the 21st century was marked by disasters across the world – including terrorist bombings and the abduction of 300 Nigerian girls from Chibok. On this day, July 29, in 1966, Nigeria experienced her bloodiest coup in history. It was a counter-coup by young military officers of Northern extraction – the ‘July rematch’ – that toppled the Aguiyi-Ironsi regime. Nine years later, July 29, 1975, the Yakubu Gowon administration was overthrown in a bloodless coup. Without help, the 14th season is a fearful season. That is the reason Jesus says in John 14: 1, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me”. Day 210 is a 14th season day. Pray that the Blood of the Passover will stay the hand of destruction today. Pray that evil will be overthrown in the nations.

Day 210 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 30th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration. Day 210 is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the 30th week. This is the day of the last stroke in the 30th week. It is equally a strategic gate of time in the fifth 7 weeks of the year.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. Seek intervention and be ready to intervene where necessary and possible. Today, reach out to stand in the gap for people. Also prophesy against walls and forces that stand against the counsel of God in the land and in the lives of people. May this last day of the week be the end of the week’s toil. May it be a blessed day of rest for you. Happy 210th day!

BORN ON THIS DAY? Your were born on this day for a reason. It is for intervention – to stand against destruction as a warrior or Intercessor for life. You were born to overthrow evil and help those pursuing, or standing for, a just cause. God used Abraham to rescue Lot and others captured with him in Genesis 14. God used Moses to divide the Red Sea for Israel and drown Pharaoh in it in Exodus 14. Samson began to fight the Philistines in Judges 14. Caleb overthrew Canaanites in Joshua 14. You are a 14th chapters of the Bible person! That’s one of the reasons you were born on the 14th day of the fifth seven weeks of the year.

Day 209: The Mystery of July 28

0

Welcome to the 209th day of the year. Day 209 is the sixth day of the 30th week, the sixth day of the second week in the fifth 49 days of the year, the thirteenth day in the fifth 49 days. It is July 28 in a clear year and July 27 in a leap year.

The key Bible patterns for understanding Day 209 are

The 6th day of creation narrative

The sixth book and sixth chapters of the Bible

The 13th book and 13th chapters of the Bible

The 8th chapter of the 30th book of the Bible

Day 209 is a sixth day of creation day in the 30th week. It is a sixth season day. The sixth season is for separation and representation. On the sixth day of creation, God made land animals – beasts, cattle, and creeping things. God also made man in His image and likeness on the sixth day; to rule and have dominion. The animals were not made in the image of God. The sixth season is for arresting rebellion. Rebellion against God began with creatures God made on the sixth day. That is the reason God needs a representative who stands in contrast to what God rejects; to execute judgment and displace or replace what God wants destroyed. In Genesis 6, God vowed to destroy humanity in Noah’s generation; and then show favor to Noah. In the sixth book of the Bible, God destroyed the Canaanites and gave their lands to Israel.

Day 209 is Amos chapter 8 day in the 30th week. Amos is the 30th book of the Bible; and the sixth-division chapter of Amos is applicable to the sixth day of the 30th week. The sixth season is a season of woes on the rebellious.

In the 8th chapter, Amos had a vision of a basket summer fruit. Amos 8:2-3 says, “… Then the LORD said to me: “The end has come upon My people Israel; I will not pass by them anymore. And the songs of the temple Shall be wailing in that day,” Says the Lord GOD— “Many dead bodies everywhere, They shall be thrown out in silence.”

Amos 8:9-14 says, “And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the Lord GOD, “That I will make the sun go down at noon, And I will darken the earth in broad daylight;  I will turn your feasts into mourning, And all your songs into lamentation; I will bring sackcloth on every waist, And baldness on every head; I will make it like mourning for an only son, And its end like a bitter day. “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord GOD, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, But shall not find it. “In that day the fair virgins And strong young men Shall faint from thirst. Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, Who say, ‘As your god lives, O Dan!’ And, ‘As the way of Beersheba lives!’ They shall fall and never rise again.”

The sixth season is a season of destruction for the rebellious. It is a season of reaction against wickedness and ungodliness. It is also a season of grace for the humble and penitent.

Day 209 is a 13th book and 13th chapters of the Bible day in the fifth 49 days of the year. First Chronicles is the 13th book of the Bible; and, with the 13th chapters, is applicable to the 13th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. The book of First Chronicles opens with the genealogy of David running from Adam. In this book, David is faultless. He subdued the enemies of Israel’s, made preparations for the building of the temple, and handed the kingdom over to Solomon. The 13th book and chapters of the Bible reveal that God chooses and separates men in the 13th season. The season abhors mixture. In Genesis 13, Lot separated from Abraham. In Exodus 13, Israel separated from Egypt. In Numbers 13, Joshua and Caleb stood out from the crowd. In First Samuel 13, Saul and Samuel began to go apart. In Nehemiah 13, Nehemiah stood for the separation of God’s people from unholy mixtures. In Matthew 13, Jesus spoke of separating wheat from tares in His parable. In John 13, Judas Iscariot separated from the 12. In Acts 13, the Holy Spirit instructed the leaders of the Church at Antioch to separate Paul and Barnabas for the work He had given them. In Revelation 13, the mark of the beast draws a line between men. In the early 13th century, Bishop Stephen Langton separated Bible narratives into numbered chapters. In the 13th year of the 21st century, gay marriage issues began to draw lines of separation in nations across the world. The greatest love-passages in the Bible are the 13th chapters. Love distinguishes God’s people from the rest of the world.

Day 209 is Ephesians – Philemon day in the 30th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The sixth day of the week is the second day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the second nine books of the New Testament. Day 209 is a day to thrive through instructions. The second 9 books of the N.T are mentoring books. The pastoral epistles of Paul are in this section.

Today, show that your primary allegiance is to the God of Israel. You are made in the image and likeness of God. This is a day to commemorate and relive the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. Today, make your way back to the Lord. Even if you’re not a backslider, you can still get closer to the Lord. Today, stand out for God as His representative and look into your life, and look around, for things and areas that need to be conformed to God’s standards. Today, be sure to be on God’s side and in alignment with Him. Separate yourself from unholy, unwholesome, and obsolete alliances. Desire only to be the expression of His heart do. As His agent and representative, prophesy against the forces and issues standing in contrast to God’s intention.

BORN ON THIS DAY? You were born today for a season. Your birth date is an announcement about your identity and purpose. All things happen in their time. You came into this world in your time. You were born to rule and express the Creator as Joseph was born in Genesis 30 to be a ruler; and as David was the ruler in the 13th book of the Bible You will prosper by separation to God and to your purpose as the 13th chapters of the Bible reveal. You were born to be outstanding by standing out for God and your cause.. You will not become who and what you were made to be if you stay mixed up with everything and everyone. Happy 209th day!

Day 208: The Mystery of July 27

0

Welcome to the 208th day of the year. It is July 27 in a clear year; and July 26 in a leap year. Day 208 is the fifth day of the thirtieth week, or the fifth day of the second week in the fifth 49 days of the year. Day 208 is the twelfth day of the fifth 49 days, Day 208 is a fifth season day. The key Bible patterns for understanding Day 208 are

The fifth day of creation narrative

The 12th book and 12th chapters of the Bible

The fifth chapter of the 30th book of the Bible.

Day 208 is a fifth day of creation day. On the fifth day of creation, God filled the waters with abundance of living creatures. He made the birds of the air on the same day. The fifth day of creation was the beginning of flesh and blood, movement, voice-sounds, sensory perception, and blessings. The fifth day of creation reveals that the fifth day of creation is a day of life (not death); freedom (not bondage); movement (not stagnation); voice (not silence); abundance (not scarcity); multiplication (not decimation); fruitfulness (not barrenness); blessings (not curses); sensory perception (not senseless indifference); swimming (not sinking); flying (not falling). Day 208 is for the full expression of life. It is season to battle things that war against full expression of life. There is no reason to fail in the fifth season. Fish has abundance of water to swim in and birds have abundance of space to fly across. The creatures of the fifth season have all it takes to protect themselves and be safe. The creatures of the fifth day are either predator or prey. It is a season of survival of the fittest. The key to success in a fifth season is to stay connected to God (through His word, prayer, and praise) as the All-Sufficient Source of all good things.

Day 208 is Amos-chapter 7 day. Amos is the 30th book of the Bible; and the fifth-division chapter of the 30th book of the Bible is applicable to the fifth day of the 30th week of the year. The seventh chapter of Amos is applicable to this day. In Amos 7, the prophet had three visions of disaster coming to Israel (locusts, fire, plumb line); and in each vision, he intervened and interceded. God listened to Amos prayers and changed what He intended to do. The fifth season is a season of intervention, prayer, and intercession. The fifth season brings judgment on the fleshly-minded who make light of spiritual realities. In Amos 7,  Amaziah resisted Amos and spoke falsely and derogatorily about the prophet and told him to go to Judah and prophesy. Amos cursed him by the word of the Lord.

Amos 7:16-17 says, “Now therefore, hear the word of the LORD: You say, ‘Do not prophesy against Israel, And do not spout against the house of Isaac.’ [17] “Therefore thus says the LORD: ‘Your wife shall be a harlot in the city; Your sons and daughters shall fall by the sword; Your land shall be divided by survey line; You shall die in a defiled land; And Israel shall surely be led away captive from his own land.'”

Day 208 is a book of Second Kings day. It is also a twelfth chapters of the Bible day. Second Kings is the 12th book of the Bible; and with the 12th chapters of the Bible, is applicable to the 12 day in the fifth 49 days of the year. The 12th book and chapters of the Bible reveal that the 12th season is both for intervention and judgment. It is a season of intervention for those who trust in God; and a season of judgment for the proud and rebellious. The book of Second Kings opens with the clash between Elijah and the son of Ahab, king of Israel, continued with the departure of Elijah, then the empowerment of Elisha and his ministry of interventions, then the anointing of Jehu as the new king of Israel, his overthrow and massacre of the house of Ahab, the purging of the land from idolatry, the coups and counter-coups in the northern kingdom until the captivity of the kingdoms. God helps in the 12th season but He does not wink at rebellion and pride in the season. He judged David’s sin in Second Samuel 12. He split Israel into two kingdoms in First Kings 12. He delivered Peter and judged Herod in Acts 12. The 12th season is also a shift-base season. Abraham departed his native land in Genesis 12. Israel departed Egypt in Exodus 12 after God judged Egypt in the Passover. Elijah departed the earth in Second Kings, the 12th book of the Bible. In Revelation 12, the Man-Child was taken up to heaven from the earth. On this day in 1990 in Nigeria, 42 young military officers were executed by firing squad for attempting to overthrow the Ibrahim Babangida led government in the Gideon Orka coup. They were like the 42 children devoured by two female bears after Elisha cursed them for mocking him in the 12th book of the Bible. A twelfth season is deadly where there is no divine intervention.

Day 208 is a Matthew – Galatians day in the 30th week. It is a time for the fulfillment of the promises pertaining to the week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible having an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and expresses the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fifth day of the week is the beginning of the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the first nine books of the New Testament. The first 9 books of the NT are about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Church. The books are about the love and grace of God granting salvation and justification to humanity by faith. This is a day to enter experientially into the New Testament side of the week. The New Testament side is the spiritual and deeper side. The New Testament side is the side of manifestation. The old has passed away; and the new has begun. Dreams for the week are expected to come to pass and promises should be fulfilled. Expect deliverance and divine intervention.

DECREE AND DECLARE: At creation, God spoke His will into each day. He made us in His image and likeness; and expects us to release His will into each day.  Decree this day that the flesh will not overtake the spirit in your life, family,, organization, and nation. Decree a change in the week and declare that today is the beginning of the New Testament side of the 30th week. As a Book-of-Matthew day, decree that Emmanuel (God is with us) takes over. As a New Testament type day, decree that the love of God will overtake human error and failure. Today, submit to the spirit against the flesh. Walk in the spirit and make no room for the flesh. The fifth season is a season of giving spiritual interpretations to earthly manifestations. Today, make it your watchword to walk in the spirit and obey God’s Word. Walking in the spirit is the key to gaining all. Birds (representing the spirit) fly above and eat from the land, the sea, and the air. Today, cry out to God against oppression and for the pains in your life. Speak out also. Trust Him to intervene in your affairs. Determine to make a next-level move. It’s time to shift base in the spirit! Happy 208th day!

Day 207: The Mystery of July 26

0

Welcome to the 207th day of the year! Day 207 is the fourth day of the thirtieth week, the fourth day of the second week in the fifth 49 days. It is the 11th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. It is July 26 in a clear year; and July 25 in a leap year.

The key Bible patterns for understanding Day 207 are

The fourth day of creation narrative

The 11th book and 11th chapters of the Bible

The 4th division chapter of the 30th book of the Bible.

Day 207 is a fourth day of creation day. It is a fourth-season day. On the fourth of creation, God made luminaries to give signs and announce seasons, to regulate day and night, and hold darkness in check. A fourth-season day is a fight-back season for darkness; and comes with trials and temptations. The fourth book and chapters of the Bible reveal that temptations, troubles, trials, pressures, and persecutions, visit people in the fourth seasons. The adversary visits in the fourth season. That is the prophetic reason behind the creation of the luminaries on the fourth day. The luminaries represent all that God has given us – His Spirit, His Word, wisdom, principles, revelations, discernment, and relationships – to help us against the efforts of darkness to overtake and dominate us. Day 207 is a day-season to be guided by the Illuminating Spirit, the Illuminating Word, or illuminated minds. It is by these Guiding Lights that you triumph over the works of darkness in this season.

Day 207 is Amos chapter 6 day. Amos is the 30th book of the Bible; and the fourth-division chapter of Amos is applicable to this fourth day of the 30th week. The fourth season is a season of signs. It is a season that requires wisdom and discernment. Carelessness or indiscretion is costly in this season. Amos 6:1-14 says, “Woe to you who are at ease in Zion, And trust in Mount Samaria, Notable persons in the chief nation, To whom the house of Israel comes! Go over to Calneh and see; And from there go to Hamath the great; Then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are you better than these kingdoms? Or is their territory greater than your territory? Woe to you who put far off the day of doom, Who cause the seat of violence to come near; Who lie on beds of ivory, Stretch out on your couches, Eat lambs from the flock And calves from the midst of the stall; Who sing idly to the sound of stringed instruments, And invent for yourselves musical instruments like David; Who drink wine from bowls, And anoint yourselves with the best ointments, But are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. Therefore they shall now go captive as the first of the captives, And those who recline at banquets shall be removed. The Lord GOD has sworn by Himself, The LORD God of hosts says: “I abhor the pride of Jacob, And hate his palaces; Therefore I will deliver up the city And all that is in it.” Then it shall come to pass, that if ten men remain in one house, they shall die. And when a relative of the dead, with one who will burn the bodies, picks up the bodies to take them out of the house, he will say to one inside the house, “Are there any more with you?” Then someone will say, “None.” And he will say, “Hold your tongue! For we dare not mention the name of the LORD.” For behold, the LORD gives a command: He will break the great house into bits, And the little house into pieces. Do horses run on rocks? Does one plow there with oxen? Yet you have turned justice into gall, And the fruit of righteousness into wormwood, You who rejoice over Lo Debar, Who say, “Have we not taken Karnaim for ourselves By our own strength?” “But, behold, I will raise up a nation against you, O house of Israel,” Says the LORD God of hosts; “And they will afflict you from the entrance of Hamath To the Valley of the Arabah.”

In fourth seasons, God humbles the proud and arrogant who do do not respect the dominion and rule of Heaven. As the luminaries (the creation of the fourth day) are far above the earth, the fourth season is a season to demonstrate the ascendancy of heaven over the earth.

Day 207 is a book of First Kings day. It is also an 11th chapters of the Bible day. Day 207 is the 11th day in the fifth 49 days of the year and has Guiding Light in the eleventh book and chapters of the Bible. Prophets are prominent figures (as guiding lights) in the eleventh book and chapters of the Bible because of man’s tendency to go astray in the eleventh season. The prophets of the eleventh season comfort or confront. Divine wisdom is principal in eleventh seasons like Day 207. Without divine wisdom, men go astray in eleventh seasons. In the book of First Kings, Solomon began with divine wisdom, left the path of wisdom and introduced idol worship in Israel through his indiscriminate marriages. The prophets rose to fight departure from God in the eleventh book of the Bible.- from the reign of Solomon to the reign of Ahab and Jezebel. In Genesis 11, God fought and destabilized the builders of the Tower of Babel. God reacts to rebels in the eleventh season. Jephthah made a rash vow in Judges 11. David’s affair with Bathsheba, and his murder of Uriah, is recorded in Second Samuel 11. God confronted Solomon’s backsliding and told him He would take ten tribes away from his father’s house because of his failure. The eleventh season is for receiving prophetic direction. In Acts 11, Agabus spoke of the famine that would overtake the world.

Day 207 is Obadiah – Malachi day in the 30th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The fourth day of the week is the day closing the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the last nine books of the Old Testament. Day 207 is the bridge-day leading to the New Testament side of the 30th week. The books of ‘the minor prophets’ are part of the last 9 books of the O.T. They are about judgment and promises of restoration. Day 207 is the day of the dominion of the Voice of God in the nations.

Today, prophesy an end to something in your life, family, business, community, and nation. Today, raise your voice against wickedness and oppression wherever it is found. Prophesy! Prophesy!! Prophesy!!! Today, also pray to be more sensitive in the spirit; to pick up necessary signals that would help you triumph over the enemy and keep darkness away. Happy Day 207!

Day 206: The Mystery of July 25

0

Welcome to the 206th day of the year! It is July 25 in a clear year and July 24 in a leap year. Day 206 is the third day of the 30th week. It is the 10th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. It is the third day of the second week in the fifth 49 days. Day 206 is a third-season day. The key Bible patterns for understanding Day 206 are

The third day of creation narrative

The 10th book and 10th chapters of the Bible

The third chapter of the 30th book of the Bible.

Day 206 is a third day of creation day. On the third day of creation, God made a way for hidden and obscure dry ground to be revealed – to become a solid platform and producer. It gave the platform that the waters could not give. It also brought forth vegetation. The third season is for revelation, manifestation, engagement, recruitment, release of potential. For the earth to be revealed as platform and producer, the waters over the earth had to be moved aside. The third season is a season of breakthroughs. This is revealed in the ‘thirds’ of the Bible.

Three things are expected in a third season:

1. The overthrow of the dominant and prevalent waters – the overthrow of the status quo.

2. The manifestation of the hidden and obscure as new platform.

3. The release of potential for sustenance – production for sustenance.

Day 206 is Amos chapter 5 day. The third-division chapter of the 30th book of the Bible reveals that Day 206 is day to overthrow ungodliness. It is a season to confront the sinner. It is season to call people to seek God and return to Him. It is a season to challenge people to pursue righteousness. Amos 5:4-9 says, “For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live; [5] But do not seek Bethel, Nor enter Gilgal, Nor pass over to Beersheba; For Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, And Bethel shall come to nothing. Seek the LORD and live, Lest He break out like fire in the house of Joseph, And devour it, With no one to quench it in Bethel- You who turn justice to wormwood, And lay righteousness to rest in the earth!”  He made the Pleiades and Orion; He turns the shadow of death into morning And makes the day dark as night; He calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth; The LORD is His name. He rains ruin upon the strong, So that fury comes upon the fortress. Amos 5:14-15 says, “Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the LORD God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken. Hate evil, love good; Establish justice in the gate. It may be that the LORD God of hosts Will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph”.

Disobedience in a fifth season is intolerable because it smacks of ingratitude – in the face of God’s goodness and mercy. Amos 5:16-27 says, “Therefore the LORD God of hosts, the Lord, says this: “There shall be wailing in all streets, And they shall say in all the highways, ‘Alas! Alas!’ They shall call the farmer to mourning, And skillful lamenters to wailing. [17] In all vineyards there shall be wailing, For I will pass through you,” Says the LORD. [18] Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! For what good is the day of the LORD to you? It will be darkness, and not light. [19] It will be as though a man fled from a lion, And a bear met him! Or as though he went into the house, Leaned his hand on the wall, And a serpent bit him! [20] Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light? Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it? [21] “I hate, I despise your feast days, And I do not savor your sacred assemblies. [22] Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not accept them, Nor will I regard your fattened peace offerings. [23] Take away from Me the noise of your songs, For I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments. [24] But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream. [25] “Did you offer Me sacrifices and offerings In the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? [26] You also carried Sikkuth your king And Chiun, your idols, The star of your gods, Which you made for yourselves. [27] Therefore I will send you into captivity beyond Damascus,” Says the LORD, whose name is the God of hosts”.

The third season is for recovery, resurrection, and restoration.

Day 206 is a Second Samuel day. It is also a 10th chapters of the Bible day. Day 206 is the tenth day in the fifth 49 day of the year; and expresses the 10th book and chapters of the Bible. The 10th book and chapters of the Bible reveal that a tenth season like Day 206 is a season of great answers to prayers. In the book of Second Samuel, God answered the prayers of David; and manifested him as the new and everlasting king of Israel. He became the new platform for God’s will in Israel. In Joshua 10, God answered Joshua’s prayers for a prolonged day. Joshua 10:14 says, “…there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the LORD heeded the voice of a man; for the LORD fought for Israel”. In First Samuel 10, God granted Israel’s request for a king and anointed Saul the first king of Israel. In Esther 10, God manifested Mordecai as Second-In-Command in Persia. In Daniel 10, Daniel received the answer to His prayer after overcoming demonic forces resisting the angel sent to him. God sent angel Michael to fight and assist Gabriel; the answer-bearer. Zechariah 10:1 says, “Ask the LORD for rain In the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone”. In Acts 10, Cornelius received answers to his prayers. In that chapter, the unbelievable happened; the Holy Spirit fell upon the Gentiles through the ministry of Peter – as it happened to the first Jewish believers on the day of Pentecost. On that day, God delivered Peter from racial prejudice and changed Peter’s ministry.

Day 206 is Ecclesiastes – Amos Day in the 30th week.

This is a day of breakthrough and pushing through barriers in the 30th week. Happy Day 206!

Day 205: The Mystery of July 24

0

Welcome to the 205th day of the year. Day 205 is the second day of the 30th week. Day 205 is a core second season day. It is the second day of the second week in the fifth 49 days. Day 205 is the 9th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. It is July 24 in a clear year and July 23 in a leap year.

The key Bible patterns for understanding Day 205 are

The second day of creation narrative

The 9th book and 9th chapters of the Bible

The second chapter of the 30th book of the Bible.

Day 205 is a second day of creation day. On the second day of creation, God made the firmament to thwart the monopoly of the waters and make room for other things to exist. Day 205 is a season of thwarting oppressive monopolies, and winning long-standing battles, through divine assistance. It is a day of overthrows via wisdom, prayers, and prophetic decrees. 205 is a day to seek, find, or make way where there is no way. Day 205 is a day of hope and help for the hopeless and helpless, As God overthrew the proud waters of darkness on the second day of creation, that is how He would dismantle oppressive barriers, monopolies, and dominating powers.

Day 205 is Amos 3-4 day. Amos is the 30th book of the Bible; and the second two chapters of the book are applicable to the second day of the 30th week. The third chapter of the book of Amos is a revelation of God’s plan to overthrow what had become dysfunctional.

Amos 3:12-15 says, “Thus says the LORD: “As a shepherd takes from the mouth of a lion two legs or a piece of an ear, So shall the children of Israel be taken out Who dwell in Samaria- In the corner of a bed and on the edge of a couch! [13] Hear and testify against the house of Jacob,” Says the Lord GOD, the God of hosts, [14] “That in the day I punish Israel for their transgressions, I will also visit destruction on the altars of Bethel; And the horns of the altar shall be cut off and fall to the ground. [15] I will destroy the winter house along with the summer house; The houses of ivory shall perish, And the great houses shall have an end,” Says the LORD”.

The fourth chapter is a reaction against the oppressors of the poor in Israel. The wives of these oppressors are called ‘the cows of Bashan’ and they encouraged their husbands to go on in oppressing the poor. God gave them five signs through disasters to awaken them from empty religiosity but they were insensitive.

The first sign God gave was famine. Amos 4:6-13 says “Also I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, And lack of bread in all your places; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the LORD”.

The second sign God gave was drought. Amos 4:7-8 says, “I also withheld rain from you, When there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, And where it did not rain the part withered. [8] So two or three cities wandered to another city to drink water, But they were not satisfied; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the LORD.

The third sign God gave was locust. Amos 4:9 says,  “I blasted you with blight and mildew. When your gardens increased, Your vineyards, Your fig trees, And your olive trees, The locust devoured them; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the LORD.

The fourth sign God gave was war. Amos 4:10 says, “I sent among you a plague after the manner of Egypt; Your young men I killed with a sword, Along with your captive horses; I made the stench of your camps come up into your nostrils; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the LORD.

The fifth sign God gave was fire. Amos 4:11-13 says, “I overthrew some of you, As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, And you were like a firebrand plucked from the burning; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the LORD.  [12] “Therefore thus will I do to you, O Israel; Because I will do this to you, Prepare to meet your God, O Israel!” [13] For behold, He who forms mountains, And creates the wind, Who declares to man what his thought is, And makes the morning darkness, Who treads the high places of the earth- The LORD God of hosts is His name.

When people can no longer read the signs, they are headed for disaster.

Day 205 is a book of First Samuel day. It is also a 9th chapters of the Bible day. First Samuel is the ninth book of the Bible; and with the 9th chapters of the Bible, is applicable to the ninth day in the fifth 49 days of the year. In the ninth book of the Bible, God battled monopolies. He helped Hannah against the monopoly of Peninnah. He overthrew the house of Eli, to make way for Samuel; He overthrew Saul to make room for David; and the Philisines, to make room for Israel His people. In the ninth chapter of Esther, God overthrew the Persians who had planned to exterminate the Jews. In Acts 9, Jesus overthrew Saul of Tarsus to persecute believers at Damascus. Day 205 is day to gain deliverance from oppressors. It is a day to overthrow wickedness. It is a day to overturn the tables of the arrogant and proud.

Day 205 is First Kings – Proverbs Day in the 30th week. The second day of the week is the second day in the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the second 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the second 10 books of the Bible, God wanted the king’s of Israel to trust Him and lead the nation in the same direction. Beginning with Solomon, the kings of Israel began to patronize Idols. Idol worship became official in the northern kingdom following the split. Judah followed. Prophets rose in this season to call the nation back to God. Eventually, the two kingdom went into captivity – the north fell to Assyria; and the south to the Babylonians. The Jews did return from captivity after 70 years. The last two books in this section of the Bible (Psalms and Proverbs) show that loss of faith in God is prelude to the loss of all things; but faith in God is the secret of power and strength. The faithful will triumph no matter what happens.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, declare that your faith will not fail; and that the faithful will triumph. Decree the downfall of those who disregard God and trust in themselves or idols, Today, prophesy and overthrow evil controlling powers by the word of the Lord. Mercy makes a way where there is no way. Today is a day of divine intervention and mercy. Today, release the word of the Lord against oppressive mountains in your life and in your world. Raise a cry to God against the proud and wicked in the land. Today, trust God to make a way where there is no way. Proclaim His word, Pray to Him. Praise Him. Happy 205th day!

Happy 205th day!

Day 204: The Mystery of July 23

0

Welcome to the 204th day of the year!  Day 204 is July 23 in a clear year and July 22 in a leap year. Day 204 is the first day of the thirtieth week. It is also the 8th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. It is July 23 in a clear year and July 22 in a leap year. The key Bible patterns to understanding the 204th day of the year are

The first day of creation narrative

The 8th book and 8th chapters of the Bible

The first chapter of the 30th book of the Bible.

Day 204 is a first day of creation day. It is a day of light against darkness. On the first day of creation, God overthrew the prevailing darkness by introducing light. “Let there be light”. On the first ‘first day’, God manifested Himself in creation as light dominating darkness. God is Light and there is no darkness in Him. Truth is light. The Word is Truth and Light. The first is the Lord’s because the Lord is first. The first day of the week is the day of the word of God. The Bible opens with God creating by releasing His voice and word.

Day 204 is Amos 1-2 day. Amos is the 30th book of the Bible. The first two chapters of the book are applicable to the first day of the 30th week of the year. The 30th book of the Bible began with the word that Amos ‘saw’ concerning Israel. “In the beginning was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God”. So, the first day of the week is for receiving the word of God concerning the week. It is a day of “Thus says the Lord”. This is used five times in the first chapter of Amos. The first day of the week is for receiving and declaring the word of the Lord. The word of God that came to Amos marked the beginning of a new day in his life. From his his work as a sheep-breeder, Amos became a prophet. Amos 1:1-15 says, “The words of Amos, who was among the sheepbreeders of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

The first chapter of the book of Amos also records God threat to the nations that are working against His will. Five times, in this chapter, the Lord says, “I will send a fire”.

Amos 1: 2-15 says, “And he said: “The LORD roars from Zion, And utters His voice from Jerusalem; The pastures of the shepherds mourn, And the top of Carmel withers.” [3] Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they have threshed Gilead with implements of iron. [4] But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, Which shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad. [5] I will also break the gate bar of Damascus, And cut off the inhabitant from the Valley of Aven, And the one who holds the scepter from Beth Eden. The people of Syria shall go captive to Kir,” Says the LORD. [6] Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they took captive the whole captivity To deliver them up to Edom. [7] But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, Which shall devour its palaces. [8] I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, And the one who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; I will turn My hand against Ekron, And the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,” Says the Lord GOD. [9] Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, And did not remember the covenant of brotherhood. [10] But I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, Which shall devour its palaces.” [11] Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because he pursued his brother with the sword, And cast off all pity; His anger tore perpetually, And he kept his wrath forever. [12] But I will send a fire upon Teman, Which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.” [13] Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of the people of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they ripped open the women with child in Gilead, That they might enlarge their territory. [14] But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, And it shall devour its palaces, Amid shouting in the day of battle, And a tempest in the day of the whirlwind. [15] Their king shall go into captivity, He and his princes together,” Says the LORD.”

Against Moab, Amos 2:1-3 says, “Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because he burned the bones of the king of Edom to lime. [2] But I will send a fire upon Moab, And it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth; Moab shall die with tumult, With shouting and trumpet sound. [3] And I will cut off the judge from its midst, And slay all its princes with him,” Says the LORD”.

Against Judah, Amos 2:4-5 says, “Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they have despised the law of the LORD, And have not kept His commandments. Their lies lead them astray, Lies which their fathers followed. [5] But I will send a fire upon Judah, And it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.”

Against Israel, Amos 2:6-16 says, “Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they sell the righteous for silver, And the poor for a pair of sandals. [7] They pant after the dust of the earth which is on the head of the poor, And pervert the way of the humble. A man and his father go in to the same girl, To defile My holy name. [8] They lie down by every altar on clothes taken in pledge, And drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god. [9] “Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, Whose height was like the height of the cedars, And he was as strong as the oaks; Yet I destroyed his fruit above And his roots beneath. [10] Also it was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, And led you forty years through the wilderness, To possess the land of the Amorite. [11] I raised up some of your sons as prophets, And some of your young men as Nazirites. Is it not so, O you children of Israel?” Says the LORD. [12] “But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, And commanded the prophets saying, ‘Do not prophesy!’ [13] “Behold, I am weighed down by you, As a cart full of sheaves is weighed down. [14] Therefore flight shall perish from the swift, The strong shall not strengthen his power, Nor shall the mighty deliver himself; [15] He shall not stand who handles the bow, The swift of foot shall not escape, Nor shall he who rides a horse deliver himself. [16] The most courageous men of might Shall flee naked in that day,” Says the LORD”.

God threatened destruction against these three kingdoms because they had become an obstruction to His plans. If he did not get them off the way, they would continue to hinder His purpose. Day 205 is for acting against hindrances to God’s plans and purposes.

When the Lord speaks judgment in a first season, it is always because men have dishonored Him and rejected His counsel. In the first chapter of the book of Amos, God threatened to judge those who had rejected light and were walking in darkness. Day 204 is light’s day of war against darkness. Stay on the side of the Light today.

Day 204 is a book of Ruth day. It is also an 8th chapters of the Bible day. Ruth is the 8th book of the Bible. The 8th book and chapters of the Bible reveal that the season is one pressure leading to changes. In the book of Ruth, Elimelech and his family moved from Judah to Moab because of famine. Disaster forced Naomi to return to Judah following the death of her husband and sons. In First Samuel 8, Israel demanded a king from Saul because of pressures from war. In Second Kings, 8, the Shunemite woman relocated to the land of the Philistines because of famine. In Acts 8, the disciples ran from Jerusalem because of pressures from persecution. The sounding of the trumpets of judgment began in Revelation 8. In Genesis 8, Noah and his family moved from the Ark to settle on the land.

Day 204 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 30th week. The first day of the week is the beginning of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the first 10 books of the Bible, God revealed Himself as Creator and Caretaker. He chose those who aligned with His purpose for blessings; and reserved judgment for those who disregard Him. The first 10 books began with the creation and fall of the man in the image and likeness of God; and ended with the emergence of the man after God’s heart sitting on the throne of God’s choice nation. This is a day of aligning with God and becoming a man (woman) after His heart.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your  life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph first day of the 30th week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Although the eighth season is a time of pressures, your movements and actions in it must be guided. Do not be impulsive. Let the Lord guide you. Happy 204th day!

Day 203: The Mystery of July 22

0

Welcome to a new day!

Let us begin with the FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY: These will help you to view the day from its different angles.

Today Is

  1. 1. July 22 (in a Clear year) but July 21 (in a Leap year).

2. The seventh day of the 29th Week (July 16 – 22 in a Clear year/ July 15 – 21 in a Leap year).

3. The seventh day in the fifth 7 Weeks of the year. (July 16 – September 2 in a clear year/ July 15 – September 1 in a leap year).

4. The 203rd day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 203.

5. it is a seventh-season day because it is the seventh day of the 29th week of the year.

FIVE BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 203rd day are

1. The seventh day of creation narrative.(Genesis 2: 1-3)

2. The seventh book of the Bible (Judges)

3. The seventh chapters of the books of the Bible.

4. Joel 3:18-21 (the seventh section of the 29th book of the Bible).

5. The third and last 9 books of the New Testament (Hebrews –Revelation).

Day 203 is a seventh day of creation day. God ended the work of creation on the seventh day and rested. He blessed the seven day and made it holy. God intends the seventh day to be a day of rest and blessings; but how it turns out depends, largely, on what people do on the day. So, the seventh day is a day of blessings and curses – depending on which way we go. It is both for deliverance and destruction. Jesus saved lives on the seventh day but the wall of Jericho was also destroyed on the seventh day. The flood is recorded in the seventh chapter of Genesis but Noah also found mercy in that seventh chapter. The seventh book of the Bible records both oppression and deliverance. The key to a happy seventh season is giving God His due.

Although Psalm 29 applies generally to the 29th week, it is also applicable to Day 203. When God is given His due, He releases His power in favor of His people.

Psalm 29:1-11: “Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, Give unto the LORD glory and strength. [2] Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. [3] The voice of the LORD is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The LORD is over many waters. [4] The voice of the LORD is powerful; The voice of the LORD is full of majesty. [5] The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars, Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon. [6] He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. [7] The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire. [8] The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; The LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. [9] The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth, And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!” [10] The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood, And the LORD sits as King forever. [11] The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.

Day 203 is a Joel 3:18-21 day. Joel is the 29th book of the Bible. The seventh section of the 29th book of the Bible is applicable to the seventh day of the 29th week of the year. The seventh and last part of Joel reveals that the seventh season is a season of joy for God’s favored people; and a season of tears for the enemies of His people. Joel 3:18-21 says, “And it will come to pass in that day That the mountains shall drip with new wine, The hills shall flow with milk, And all the brooks of Judah shall be flooded with water; A fountain shall flow from the house of the LORD And water the Valley of Acacias. [19] “Egypt shall be a desolation, And Edom a desolate wilderness, Because of violence against the people of Judah, For they have shed innocent blood in their land. [20] But Judah shall abide forever, And Jerusalem from generation to generation. [21] For I will acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted; For the LORD dwells in Zion.”

Day 203 is a seventh Book of the Bible day. It is also a seventh chapters of the Bible day. Judges is the seventh book of the Bible and is applicable to all seventh seasons. God’s people often think that the seventh season (the seventh of any seven days, weeks, years, 49 years, or century) is an automatic season of rest. That is what God intends. However the seventh book and chapters of the Bible reveal that seventh season is not a fixed or automatic season of blessings and rest. The 21st century is a seventh-season century and has not been disaster-free.

There are three things that make the seventh season a season of blessings and rest.

The first is honoring God through obedience or repentance. Israel suffered in the seventh book of the Bible for turning away from God. Hope only came when they repented and turned to God. That is the reason Second Chronicles 7:13-14 says, “When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land”. Dishonoring God makes the seventh season catastrophic. For sin, flood destroyed humanity in Genesis 7. For the pride and stubbornness of Pharaoh, plagues began in Egypt in Exodus 7. Achan and his family perished in Joshua 7 for dishonoring God. It was for the sin of Achan that Ai defeated Israel in the same chapter. Stephen was stoned in Acts 7 because the Church settled in Jerusalem.

The second is the availability of intervention. The availability of an intervening Savior makes the seventh day a day of salvation, It was the Judges that made a difference in the seventh book of the Bible. Gideon led Israel to war and brought victory in Judges 7.  Samuel helped Israel against the Philistines in  First Samuel 7. Elisha ended famine in Second Kings 7. Jesus raised the widow’s son about to be buried in Luke. Jesus healed on the Sabbath. There was no intervention for Stephen in Acts 7.

The third thing is finishing the work of the sixth day. If God had not finished His work on the sixth day, He would not have rested on the seventh day. If you take your rest on the sixth day, you will be compelled to labor in the season of rest. If Israel had destroyed the  Amorites in the sixth book of the Bible, they would have rested in the seventh book. Noah was safe in Genesis 7 because he built the Ark in Genesis 6.

Day 203 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 29th week. Day 203 is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the 29th week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration.

May this last day of the week be the end of the week’s toil. May it be a blessed day of rest for you. Happy 203rd day!

BORN ON THIS DAY? You were born on this day because of who God made you to and the purpose he wants you to fulfill. This is a day of Intervention, deliverance, and rest. God made you for rest and not distress; but you must continually pursue alignment and peace with the Creator. That is the secret of rest in your life. If your life is out of alignment, with the Creator’s purposes, you need to turn to Him You were also made to lead others to peace with God. You were also made to fight the oppressor and bring the oppressed into rest. So, here are three things you must give attention to: Pursue the pleasure of God without looking back. Set your heart on leading others into rest by fighting agents of oppression and distress in their lives. Teach and lead others to turn to God from sin and pursue His pleasure.

Day 202: The Mystery of July 21

0

Welcome to a new day!

Let us begin with the FIVE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DAY: These will help you to view the day from its different angles.

Today Is

  1. 1. July 21 (in a Clear year) but July 20 (in a Leap year).

2. The sixth day of the 29th Week (July 16 – 22 in a Clear year/ July 15 – 21 in a Leap year).

3. The sixth day in the fifth 7 Weeks of the year. (July 16 – September 2 in a clear year/ July 15 – September 1 in a leap year).

4. The 202nd day of the year (from January 1). In this article, this day will be called Day 202.

5. it is a sixth-season day because it is the sixth day of the 29th week of the year.

FIVE BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

The Bible patterns for understanding this 202nd day are

1. The sixth day of creation narrative.(Genesis 1: 24-31)

2. The sixth book of the Bible (Joshua)

3. The sixth chapters of the books of the Bible.

4. Joel 2:18-27 (the fifth section of the 29th book of the Bible).

5. The second 9 books of the New Testament (Ephesians –Philemon).

Day 202 is a sixth season day. It is a sixth day of creation season. On the sixth day of creation, God created land animals. He also made man in His image and likeness. He gave man the mandate to rule and have dominion over sea creatures and land animals. He blessed man with fruitfulness and multiplication and communicated with man concerning the provisions He made for food. The sixth season is a season of conflict because where there is no conflict, there would be no need to subdue, rule and have dominion. Genesis 1:24-31 says, “Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. [25] And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. [26] Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” [27] So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. [28] Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” [29] And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. [30] Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. [31] Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

God supports and favors His image in the sixth season. In the sixth chapter of Genesis, God vowed to destroy ungodly humanity. In the sixth of the Bible, God led Israel to destroy the Amorites and possess their lands. They destroyed Jericho in the sixth chapter of the sixth book of the Bible. In the sixth chapter of Second Kings, Elisha blinded and arrested Syrian forces sent to arrest him. In the sixth chapter of Daniel, God overthrew the enemies of Daniel after he survived the den of lions. In the sixth chapter of Revelation, the Lamb of God began to loose the seals of the Scroll; and judgments began. The Second World War broke out within the sixth seven years of the 20th Century and claimed lives. 2020 is the sixth year in the third seven years of the 21st century and here we have Coronavirus. What is it about the sixth?

Day 202 is a Book of Joshua day in the 29th week. It is also a sixth chapters of the Bible day. The sixth book and chapters of the Bible reveal that God seeks men who would represent His intentions and purposes in the sixth season. God’s agenda for the sixth season is overthrow people and things that do not bear His semblance; and then establish people and things that bear His semblance. The sixth season is a season of conflict between the godly and the ungodly in which God gives dominion to the godly. The sixth season is for the recovery of godliness on earth.

The 29th chapters of the Bible apply generally to the 29th week but the 29th chapter of Second Chronicles can be applied specially to the sixth day of the 29th week. In that chapter, King Hezekiah is God’s agent restoring the worship of the true God, according to the Law of Moses and according to the pattern established by David. He led Judah into a revival of faith and even threw it open to the Northern kingdom.

Day 202 is a Joel 3:1-17 day. In the 29th week Joel is the 29th book of the Bible; and the sixth part of the book is applicable to the sixth day of the 29th week. In this passage, God vows to draw the enemies of His people to the valley of Jehoshaphat and judge them there. This is a day of judgment against ungodliness. Joel 3:1-17 says, “For behold, in those days and at that time, When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, [2] I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land. [3] They have cast lots for My people, Have given a boy as payment for a harlot, And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink. [4] “Indeed, what have you to do with Me, O Tyre and Sidon, and all the coasts of Philistia? Will you retaliate against Me? But if you retaliate against Me, Swiftly and speedily I will return your retaliation upon your own head; [5] Because you have taken My silver and My gold, And have carried into your temples My prized possessions. [6] Also the people of Judah and the people of Jerusalem You have sold to the Greeks, That you may remove them far from their borders. [7] “Behold, I will raise them Out of the place to which you have sold them, And will return your retaliation upon your own head. [8] I will sell your sons and your daughters Into the hand of the people of Judah, And they will sell them to the Sabeans, To a people far off; For the LORD has spoken.” [9] Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up. [10] Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.'” [11] Assemble and come, all you nations, And gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD. [12] “Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. [13] Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the winepress is full, The vats overflow- For their wickedness is great.” [14] Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. [15] The sun and moon will grow dark, And the stars will diminish their brightness. [16] The LORD also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the LORD will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel. [17] “So you shall know that I am the LORD your God, Dwelling in Zion My holy mountain. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, And no aliens shall ever pass through her again.”

Day 202 is Ephesians – Philemon day in the 29th week. Day 202 is a day to thrive through instructions. The second 9 books of the N.T are mentoring books. The pastoral epistles of Paul are in this section.

Happy 202nd day!
