Day 364: The Mystery of December 30

0

Welcome to the 364th day of the year! Day 364 is the seventh and last day of the last full week (52nd) of the year; and the 21st day in the last 22/23 days of the year.

Day 364 is a seventh season day. The key to understanding a seventh season day is the narrative of the seventh day of creation recorded in Genesis 2. On the seventh day, God ended His work, rested, blessed the seventh day, and made it holy (distinct). What God did on the seventh day became a pattern for seventh seasons. Here are four things about the seventh season from the narrative of the seventh day of creation:

1. The seventh day is for the end of labor: it is a legislated work-end season. Although it is a work-free day in many countries, it is also a spiritual work-free season. It is a season of grace through faith. It is a season to enter into the finished work by faith. It is a season to step into results of finished work.

2. The seventh season is a season of rest; not just physically but spiritually also. Jesus healed the sick on the Sabbath to usher them into rest in their bodies. A sick person has no rest in his or her mind or body; even if he or she is lying down and sleeping. Rest for the sick means to be released from sickness.

3. The seventh season is a Holy season. God made the seventh day holy, not just so it could be a season of religious worship but much more so it could be a season doing the pleasure of the Divine. To have religious worship and rituals in the seven season without practical pursuit of divine pleasure is vain.

4. The seventh season is a blessed season. God blessed the seventh season because He wants men to be blessed in it; instead of for men to experience curses in it.  God blessed this season because of the tendency for men to be afflicted with curses in the season. The curses of the season come from violating the season. If the seventh season is kept Holy for God’s pleasure, men would enjoy the blessings of the season.

Day 364 is a book of Judges day in the 52nd week of the year. Judges is the seventh book of the Bible. In this book, Israel did not obey God. Everyone did what was right in His own eyes. Israel had no rest in this book; but were oppressed by her neighbors; except when God raised a judge to deliver them from their oppressors. When a seventh season is violated, through rebellion against God, it becomes a season of disasters.

Day 364 is a book-of-Ecclesiastes day in the 22/23 last days of the year.  Ecclesiastes is the 21st book of the Bible and shows a picture of man living for himself instead of living for God. The man living for himself in the book of Ecclesiastes could not find meaning or purpose in life until he realized that the whole duty of man is to please God. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. [14] For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil”.

Day 364 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 52nd week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week also has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the third nine books of the New Testament. Today is a day of the last battle and ultimate triumph in the week. The third 9 books of the N.T are books of correction, recovery, and restoration.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Have. happy day!The seventh season is for honoring the rights of God. It is time to return to Him.
