SIX BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY

1. The first day of creation narrative.
2. The first book of the Bible (Genesis)
3. The first chapters of the Bible.
4. Ezekiel 1-7 (the first 7 chapters of the 26th book of the Bible.

Day 176 is a first day of creation day in the 26th week. It is a first season day in a fifth season week. God created light on the first day. Light reveals, enlightens, and guides. Light is truth. God is Light. God overthrew darkness with light on the first day of creation. In the first season, God and his word must have the preeminence. The first day of a fifth season week should be a season of encounter with the God that reveals, enlightens, guides, blesses, revives, restores, liberates, and gives increase; or with the God who curses, kills, destroys, or judges. It is a day to honor the God who gives life and blessing and sustenance. On the fifth day of creation, God began to create flesh – moving living creatures. So, the fifth season is for life and freedom. He made those fifth-day creatures in abundance. So, the fifth season is a season of material abundance as opposed to scarcity. On the fifth day, God also blessed creation for the first time. He blessed them with fruitfulness and multiplication. So the fifth season is a season of blessings of fruitfulness, multiplication, and increase. Day 176 is a day of judgment against darkness.
Day 176 is Ezekiel 1-7 season. The first seven chapters of the 26th book of the Bible are applicable to the first day of the 26th week. In the first seven chapters of Ezekiel, the prophet encountered the God of Israel in visions; and received the word to prophesy against the land of Israel.
God reveals Himself in the first season as Light; and as Light He goes to war against darkness. As Light, God is first and the first belongs to Him. The first seven chapters of Ezekiel is the Prophet’s vision of the impending overthrow of Jerusalem and Judah. In the first chapter, the prophet saw visions of God. It is through light that we see. We do not see because we have eyes. We see because there is light. In this chapter, Ezekiel had the vision of the four-sided four living creatures and the wheels – all moving by the Spirit of God. In the second chapter, Ezekiel was sent to prophesy to the house of Israel; a stubborn and rebellious people – wether they listen to him or not. God warned the prophet against stubbornness and rebellion. God showed the prophet a scroll written inside and out. On the scroll were written lamentations, mourning, and woe. In the third chapter, the prophet was commanded to eat the scroll. He ate the scroll and it was sweet like honey. God told him to the people the exact words given to him whether the people would listen or not. In the fourth chapter, God commanded Ezekiel to portray the siege of Jerusalem on a tablet of clay; and to lay siege against the city. He was commanded to lie down on one side for 390 days and on the other side 40. He was to bake his bread on cow dung, ration the food he ate and the water he drank to sure what was ahead of those in Jerusalem. Without God, a season of freedom can become a season of restrictions; and a season of abundance can become a season of famine and scarcity. In the fifth chapter, God told told Ezekiel that one third of Jerusalem shall die by the pestilence, another third shall die by sword, and the other third will be scattered among the nations. In the sixth chapter, God commanded Ezekiel to prophesy against the mountains of Israel. He spoke of desolations but promised to leave a remnant who would remember His name in the places they would be scattered. In the seventh chapter, God told Ezekiel to speak of an end, of disaster, desolation, and destruction. This is the climax of the prophecies. It is like the destruction of the earth in the seventh chapter of Genesis.
The first seven chapters of Ezekiel reveal that rebellion against God is costly in a first season like Day 176. In the first season, God reveals Himself as the One who must be obeyed. He did not tolerate disobedience in the first book of the Bible. He will not tolerate it in any first season. Today, put God First and Honor His Voice. Do not rebel against Him.
Day 176 is a Book of Joel day in the 4th seven weeks of the year. Joel is the 29th book of the Bible and is applicable to the 29th day in the fourth 49 days. The 29th season is a season of fruitfulness but the enemy would want it to be a season of disasters. In the 29th book of the Bible, Joel calls the people to return to God in repentance and in response to misfortunes in the land. Joel also speaks of the blessings of the latter day for those who turn to God. . This is a day to seek alignment with God. That is the way to move from destruction to restoration.
Day 176 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 26th week. Going through any week is like taking a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The first day of the week is the beginning of the Old Testament side of the week; and expresses the first 10 books of the Old Testament and the Bible. In the first 10 books of the Bible, God revealed Himself as Creator and Caretaker. He chose those who aligned with His purpose for blessings; and reserved judgment for those who disregard Him. The 10 books began with the creation and fall of the man in the image and likeness of God; and ended with the man after God’s heart sitting on the throne of God’s choice nation. This is a day of aligning with God.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy. !Happy 176th day!
