FOUR BIBLICAL PATTERNS FOR THE DAY
There are four basic biblical patterns for this day:
1. The seventh day of creation (Genesis 2: 1-3)
2. Jeremiah 46 – 52
3. The 21st book of the Bible (Ecclesiastes)
4. The third and last 9 books of the New Testament (Hebrews – Revelation).
Day 168 is a seventh day of creation season. On the seventh day, God ended His work of creation. It was a work-free day for God. He rested on that day; and so, blessed and consecrated it. The seventh day is a season of rest for those who honor God in it by doing His pleasure; but the enemy wants it to be a season of unrest by pushing and pulling people into rebellion against God. What God intends is to bring people into rest and out of struggles through intervention. Without intervention, the seventh season is a season of unrest and distress..Â
Day 168 is a Jeremiah 46-52 season. The last seven chapters of the 24th book of the Bible are applicable.to the seventh and last day of the 24th week of the year. In this section of the book of Jeremiah, the prophet received words of proclamation of judgment against nations – Moab, Philistines, Egypt, and Babylon. This last section of the 24th book of the Bible reveal that the last day of the 24th week is a day of judgments. It is a day of the dominion of the Word of God. It is a day to proclaim God’s final word on circumstances in the week. The last day of the week is for the last Word for the week – vindication or damnation.
Day 168 is a Hebrews – Revelation day in the 24th week. Going through every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The seventh day of the week is the third and last day on the New Testament side of the week. It expresses the last 9 books of the New Testament and the Bibke. The last 9 books of the New Testament are books of evaluation. They are books of correction, recovery, and restoration. This last day of the 24th week is a day of recovery and restoration.Â
Day 168 is a 21st-book-and-21st-chapters-of-the-Bible day in the fourth seven weeks of the year. The 21st book and 21st chapters of the Bible indicate that the 21st season is 1) for the delivery of dreams, promises and expectations; 2) for the recovery of God’s interests and possessions; 3) for prophetic dominion and judgment of thrones; 4) for coming into the fullness of purposes. The 21st season is the fullness of time for all things – the restoration of divine purposes.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree rest and an end to struggles. Call judgment on people and things adamantly resistant to the will of God. Call judgment on wicked leaders and thrones of wickedness. Declare that promises are fulfilled and expectations delivered today. Decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, raise a cry against wickedness; trust in the Lord, hope in Him, and take refuge in His grace and mercy. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. This is a day of “IT IS DONE”. Today, you will have pleasure by seeking the pleasure of God. Today, make it priority to honor God. Obey Him. If you missed it anywhere, repent and return to God. This is a day to go back to Bethel. Happy 168th Day!
