Welcome to the 120th day of the year! Day 120 is the first day of the eighteenth week; the first day of the fourth week in the third 49 days; the 22nd day in the third 49 days. Day 120 is a first season day. It is a “Let there be light” season. It is also a 22nd season day; a day to make an end. Day 120 is April 30 in a clear year; and April 29 in a leap year. The key Bible patterns for understanding Day 120 are the first day of creation narrative, Psalm 120, and the first six chapters of the eighteenth book of the Bible.
Day 120 is a first day of creation day. On the first day of creation, God released Light against the darkness that covered the face of the waters. Light signifies truth, life, knowledge, Wisdom and understanding. Darkness represents lies, untruth, error, deception, ignorance, and the likes. Darkness does not kill but it blind-folds, confuses and frustrates. The first season is a season to war against darkness; through light. Light reveals, exposes, and guides. Often, the first day of the week is the key to understanding the week. Adolf Hitler died on the 120th day of 1945, two days after Benito Mussolini was hanged; and ten days after his 56th birthday. He was overwhelmed by darkness and died of suicide.
Day 120 is a Psalm 120 day. This psalm is a testimony of deliverance from distress. It is also a prayer to be delivered from lying lips, deceitful tongue, and false tongue – those who create troubles with the tongue. Psalm 120:1-7 says, “In my distress I cried to the LORD, And He heard me. [2] Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips And from a deceitful tongue. [3] What shall be given to you, Or what shall be done to you, You false tongue? [4] Sharp arrows of the warrior, With coals of the broom tree! [5] Woe is me, that I dwell in Meshech, That I dwell among the tents of Kedar! [6] My soul has dwelt too long With one who hates peace. [7] I am for peace; But when I speak, they are for war.” Meshech relates to warriors; the tents of Kedar is dark. (Ezekiel 27:13; 32:26; 38:2-3; 39:1 and Song of Songs 1:5). Bringing Meshech and Kedar together speaks of the warriors of darkness. Day 120 is a day of distress and battles against darkness. Today, pray to be delivered from lying tongues. The devil is the Chief Lying Tongue. He twists and contradicts God’s word. He wants us to doubt what says and believe what God did not say.
Day 120 is a Job 1-6 day. The first six chapters of the 18th book of the Bible is applicable to the first day of the 18th week. The first six chapters of this book is the foundation of the book. It is the key to understanding the entire book. It is the light of the book. Without them the eighteenth book of the Bible would be enshrouded in darkness. In Job 1 and 2, God permitted Satan, in the trial of Jobs faith, to destroy all that Job had. He first lost his children, possessions, and business. His faith did not fail. Satan requested to touch his body and health and got permission to do so. That was more devastating. In the third chapter, Job spoke up, complained, and wished to die. In the fourth and fifth chapters, one of his friends, Eliphaz, replied him. Job charged back in the sixth chapter and then, words continued pouring out. Day 120 is the key to understanding the eighteenth week. The rest of the week could be about what happened on this Day 120.
Day 120 is a Song of Songs Day in the third 49 days of the year. Song of Songs is the 22nd book of the Bible; and is applicable to the 22nd day in the third 49 days of the year. The 22nd book of the Bible is a love song about a couple – a bridegroom and a bride. It foreshadowed the love relationship between God and His people or Christ and His Church. The 22nd season is for expressing love. It is a day to demonstrate and consummate our love for God. This is the first day of the week. God is first and the first belongs to Him. Love for God is the key to victory this 120th day and the rest of the 18th week.
Day 120 is a Genesis – Second Samuel day in the 18th week. Journeying through any seven day season is like taking a journey through the Bible – from Genesis to Revelation. The first four days of the week express the 39 books of the Old Testament; and the remaining three days express the 27 books of the New Testament. The first ten books of the Bible are applicable to the first day of the week. The first ten books of the Bible are about God’s search for a man. He searched from Adam to David; and found the man after His heart. Day 120 is for honoring God and pursuing His pleasure and seeking His glory. It is a day to demonstrate to Him that He is the first in all things.
DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the collapse and end of expressions and manifestations of darkness in your life and world. Decree that expressions of light will triumph in this first day of the week. Today, make a quality decision to receive the word of the Lord and act on it without fear or doubts. Make a quality decision to walk in unconditional love. This is a day of sacrificial (tough) love. Today, take time to hear from God. Do not act without His direction. Follow what He says or shows. Today, seek the Lord against disasters in the week as you come into alignment. Call upon Him for mercy. Today, the Lord will deliver your life, and all you have, from enemies that seek your downfall. Happy 120th day!
