Day 244: The Mystery of September 1

0

Welcome to the 244th day of the year! Day 244 is the sixth day of the 35th week; the sixth day of the seventh week in the fifth 49 days; and the 48th day in the fifth 49 days. It is a sixth-season day. It is September 1 in a clear year and August 31 in a leap year. The basic Bible patterns for understanding Day 244 are

The 6th day of creation narrative.

The sixth section of the 35th book of the Bible.

The 48th book and chapters of the Bible.

Day 244 is a sixth-day-of-creation day. On the sixth day, God completed and ended the making of flesh and blood creatures. That is the reason the works the flesh reach a climax in sixth seasons. On the sixth day, God communicated with His creatures for the first time. That is the reason God gives commands and instructions for success in sixth seasons. On the sixth day, also, God made man in His image and after His likeness, to rule, subdue, and have dominion. That is the reason God seeks and speaks representation and responsible leadership in the sixth season. That is also the reason the sixth season is a season of warfare and dealing with rebellion and rebels. God commands the subduing of people and forces that are neither in His image nor in alignment with Him and His purposes. Man was created last but leadership over other living creatures was given to him. That accounts for the outpour of grace in the sixth seasons. Day 244 is a day to enforce the rule and dominion of God. It is a day to invoke the kingdom of God and seek that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Day 244 is also a sixth book and sixth chapters of the Bible day. In the sixth book of the Bible, God overthrew the seven Amorite nations and gave their lands to Israel. In Genesis 6, God vowed to destroy ungodly humanity. The sixth chapters of the Bible reveal that the sixth season is for conflict between forces on God’s side and forces on the devil’s side. In Second Kings 6, Elisha blinded Syrian troops that came to arrest him. Ephesians 6 reveals that we wrestling against spiritual principalities and powers.

Day 244 is a Habakkuk 3:1-16 day. The sixth section of the 35th book of the Bible is applicable to the sixth day of the 35th week of the year. Habakkuk 3:1-16 is the prophet’s prayer against the impending judgment on the the land. He prayed, “O LORD, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy”. From the third verse, the prophet reveals what he saw and heard from God: “God came from Teman, The Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of His praise. His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden. Before Him went pestilence, And fever followed at His feet. He stood and measured the earth; He looked and startled the nations. And the everlasting mountains were scattered, The perpetual hills bowed. His ways are everlasting. I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; The curtains of the land of Midian trembled. O LORD, were You displeased with the rivers, Was Your anger against the rivers, Was Your wrath against the sea, That You rode on Your horses, Your chariots of salvation? Your bow was made quite ready; Oaths were sworn over Your arrows. Selah You divided the earth with rivers. The mountains saw You and trembled; The overflowing of the water passed by. The deep uttered its voice, And lifted its hands on high. The sun and moon stood still in their habitation; At the light of Your arrows they went, At the shining of Your glittering spear. You marched through the land in indignation; You trampled the nations in anger. You went forth for the salvation of Your people, For salvation with Your Anointed. You struck the head from the house of the wicked, By laying bare from foundation to neck. Selah You thrust through with his own arrows The head of his villages. They came out like a whirlwind to scatter me; Their rejoicing was like feasting on the poor in secret. You walked through the sea with Your horses, Through the heap of great waters. When I heard, my body trembled; My lips quivered at the voice; Rottenness entered my bones; And I trembled in myself, That I might rest in the day of trouble. When he comes up to the people, He will invade them with his troops”.

The judgment of the sixth season is fierce; and Day 244 is a day to seek mercy against wrath and indignation. This is equally applicable to Year 244. Nations going through their 244th year should humbly seek the mercy of God.

Day 244 is a 48th book and chapters of the Bible day. Day 244 is the 48th day in the fifth 49 days of the year. It is a day of conflict between grace and law. The 48 book of the Bible, Galatians has six chapters opens with the grace sovereignty of God in the election of Paul. In this book, Paul promoted faith above works; and grace above law. He made a strong case for the grace of God towards the gentiles against Jewish legalism. In Genesis 48, Joseph and his sons found favor and grace before God and Jacob. Joseph’s children were adopted to be Jacob’s children. Jacob’s second son, Ephraim, became firstborn among his uncles. God rules in the sixth season. He demonstrates His sovereignty in the sixth season more than in any other season. Psalm 48 is about the greatness of God. Isaiah 48 is about the sovereignty of God. Jeremiah 48 is God’s judgment against Moab. Ezekiel 48 is the last chapter of the book. The number 48 signifies the sovereignty of God on earth. This last verse of Ezekiel 48 ends with “and the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE”. The 48th book and chapters of the Bible reveal that God is sovereign in a 48th season like Day 244. This 48th day in the fifth 49 days is a day of divine grace and sovereignty. God is justified to bless or curse in a sixth season because He is the Sovereign Lord.

You can profit from His sovereignty as you look to Him for favor.

Day 244 is Ephesians – Philemon day in the 35th week. Every week is like a journey through the Bible. Every week has an Old Testament side and a New Testament side. The first four days of the week belong to the Old Testament side and express the 39 books of the Old Testament. The remaining three days of the week constitute the New Testament side and express the 27 books of the New Testament. The sixth day of the week is the second day in the New Testament side of the week; and expresses the second nine books of the New Testament. Day 244 is a day to do warfare and thrive through instructions. The second 9 books of the N.T are mentoring books. The pastoral epistles of Paul are in this section. This section of the Bible is for “the preparation of the man of God”.

DECREE AND DECLARE: God made us in His image and likeness to rule, have dominion, and impose His will on seasons; as He did with the seven days of creation. He decreed what He wanted for each day. We are to decree what is revealed concerning each day. Today, decree the downfall of the wicked and the lifting and establishment of the just. Today, prophesy and declare war against the enemies of God. Today, prophesy restoration and blessing on God’s people because of the finished work; and prophesy against ungodliness. Today, show that your primary allegiance is to the God of Israel. You are made in the image and likeness of God. This is a day to commemorate and relive the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. Today, make your way back to the Lord. Even if you’re not a backslider, you can still get closer to the Lord. Today, stand out for God as His representative and look into your life, and look around, for things and areas that need to be conformed to God’s standards. Today, pray that the kingdom comes, by the word of God, to establish God’s will in your life, family, church, community, nation; and in the nations of the world. Today, on this sixth day of the 34th week, proclaim the third chapter of Micah over the wicked in the land. Today, declare the sovereignty of God over all lands, men, and situations. Stand strong in the grace of God. Happy Day 244!

BORN ON THIS DAY? You were born in this season for a reason. You came into this world on this day because of who you are and what you came to do on earth. You were born to be part of the solution for the problems associated with this day. The enemy wants to make this day a day of slow movement, queuing and restrictions. You are a fast tracker. This day is for putting the lowly on the fast track. This is day of overtaking effortlessly by divine grace and sovereignty. You were born to receive grace, embody grace and be gracious. You were born to fast-track the humble. You were born to be very gracious because you were made to prosper by grace. You were not born to queue or be in a jam. You were born to move fast, catch up, and overtake. The enemy will labor to keep you slow-paced and crawling and struggling. He will accomplish this by pushing you to punish or judge others. Do not be judgmental. Do not be a fault-finder. Be gracious to people and keep them moving. What you do to and for others will come back to you. Today, give thanks to God for your life and determine to stay on the path of grace and graciousness. Happy birthday!
